Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi pendidikan Islam pada masa penjajahan Belanda di Indonesia, dengan fokus pada kebijakan kolonial, respons komunitas Muslim, serta dampaknya terhadap pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Data diperoleh dari sumber-sumber pustaka, termasuk buku, jurnal, dan dokumen sejarah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam pada masa ini menghadapi tantangan signifikan akibat kebijakan diskriminatif pemerintah kolonial, yang berusaha mengarahkan pendidikan untuk kepentingan administrasi kolonial. Meskipun demikian, pesantren tetap berfungsi sebagai benteng identitas keislaman dan tempat pengkaderan tokoh pergerakan nasional. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan tentang sejarah pendidikan Islam dan menjadi referensi untuk pengembangan pendidikan Islam yang lebih inklusif di masa depan

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the extent to which the Big Five Personality traits influence suicidal ideation in individuals transitioning into emerging adulthood. A quantitative approach was employed, with a purposive sample of 100 individuals aged 18-25 who had experienced suicidal ideation. Two primary instruments were utilized: the IPIP-BFM-50 scale to measure participants' personality traits on the five dimensions, and the Beck Scale for Suicide Ideation to assess the frequency and intensity of suicidal thoughts. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to analyze the data. Results indicated that of the five personality dimensions, only Neuroticism demonstrated a significant relationship with suicide ideation. Specifically, higher scores on the Neuroticism dimension were associated with a greater likelihood of experiencing suicidal thoughts.

Abstract

Bullying is something that is destructive and has become a phenomenon that is familiar to our ears. One of the factors that influences the level of bullying is the environment and upbringing. Teenagers in orphanages have limited or even no interaction with their parents. They also cannot form a deep relationship with the caregiver, because the caregiver also has divided responsibilities and attention to other children. These conditions are important reasons to increase their understanding of bullying. One way to achieve this is through psychoeducation. This research is quantitative study with a one-group time series design. A sample of 15 people was selected using purposive sampling technique. The results of the study found that there was an increase in understanding of bullying among teenagers at orphanage X after being given psychoeducation.

Abstract

Every organisation from student organisations, schools and other organisations need training programmes. However, the problem is that there is no training centre that offers the various programmes needed for the development of these student organisations. For this reason, it is necessary to develop a training centre to accommodate the demand for training from student organisations, both university organisations, schools and other student organisations. Furthermore, there is also the problem of the absence of an Entrepreneur Centre that serves to accommodate the results of student entrepreneurship programmes to be sold directly or online. Therefore, it is very necessary and urgent to develop a training centre and entrepreneur centre. So the purpose of this activity is to develop a training centre and entrepreneur center (PEC) Padang through a website platform With this, there is a forum that can accommodate the results of entrepreneurship of Padang State University students and also offer several training programs.The stages that will be carried out are (1) the establishment of a training centre that offers several training programs (leadership, organizational management, proposal making, tutoring etc.) online and offline, (2) mentoring and training student entrepreneurship, (3) creating a website for the Padang training and entrepreneur center (PEC) as a promotional medium. The results of this activity can foster students' entrepreneurial spirit, increase employment opportunities and facilitate student entrepreneurship services and products..

Abstract

Biology learning has complex concepts so that many students have difficulty remembering these concepts. This study aims to determine the use of learning strategies using concept maps as an effort to improve student learning outcomes so that there is mastery of the concept of the human respiratory system material. The concept map that has been designed focuses on meaningful learning so that students can more easily understand and remember the material taught. The research conducted was in the form of classroom action research by looking at the comparison of the two studies conducted for two cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out with tests, observations and rubrics. The results of this study were in the form of an analysis of students' cognitive learning. Experiment 1 showed that in cycle I there was an increase in understanding of 87.13% and in cycle II there was an increase in understanding of the concept of 90.36%. While the results of experiment 2 showed that in cycle I there was an increase of 85.30% and in cycle II there was an increase of 92.5%. In addition to increasing learning outcomes, it turns out that concept maps also have an effect on increasing student activity. This can be seen during the learning process, students are more active in seeking information and more enthusiastic in expressing their opinions.  Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that learning using concept maps can improve learning outcomes and student activities on the human respiratory system material.Pembelajaran biologi memiliki konsep yang kompleks sehingga banyak peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan untuk mengingat konsep tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan strategi pembelajaran menggunakan peta konsep sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik sehingga terjadi penguasaan konsep materi sistem respirasi manusia. Peta konsep yang telah dirancang berfokus pada pembelajaran yang bermakna agar peserta didik lebih mudah memahami dan mengingat materi yang diajarkan. Penelitian yang dilakukan berupa penelitian tindakan kelas dengan melihat perbandingan kedua penelitian yang dilakukan selama dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes, observasi dan rubrik. Hasil penelitian ini berupa analisis belajar kognitif peserta didik. Pada percobaan 1 menunjukkan siklus I terjadi peningkatan pemahaman  sebesar 87,13% dan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan pemahaman konsep sebesar 90,36%.  Sedangkan hasil percobaan 2 menunjukkan pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan sebesar 85,30% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 92,5%. Selain terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar, ternyata peta konsep juga berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik. Hal ini terlihat pada saat proses pembelajaran peserta didik lebih aktif mencari informasi dan lebih antusias dalam mengemukakan pendapatnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan peta konsep dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas peserta didik pada materi sistem respirasi manusia.

Abstract

Sekolah umumnya dipandang sebagai tempat untuk memperoleh pendidikan dan mempengaruhi kualitas kehidupan siswa di masa mendatang, ternyata menjadi sumber stres. Stres yang dialami oleh siswa dikenal dengan istilah stres akademik. Stres akademik erat kaitannya dengan masa remaja karena lingkungan sekolah adalah salah satu sumber stres yang paling diidentifikasi pada remaja. Munculnya stres akademik dikarenakan adanya stressor akademik. Stres pada dasarnya tidak dapat dihilangkan sepenuhnya, tetapi intensitasnya dapat dikurangi. Salah satunya dengan pemberian dukungan sosial orang tua. Penelitian ini melibatkan 317 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas X, XI, dan XII dengan menerapkan teknik stratified random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala dukungan sosial orang tua dan skala stres akademik. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi sederhana. Diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,015 (Sig.< 0,05), artinya hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh antara dukungan sosial orang tua terhadap stres akademik siswa. Dukungan sosial orang tua berkontribusi sebesar 1,9 % terhadap penurunan stres akademik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between the big five personality and emotional regulation in women who have experienced verbal violence in dating. In this study, the approach used was a quantitative method with a correlational design. The sample was taken randomly with the criteria, namely women of emerging adulthood age with an age range of 18 to 25 years who had experienced verbal violence in dating relationships, and the relationship had lasted more than six months. The sample of this study amounted to 117 people. The research instruments used were the IPIP-BFM-50 and the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ). Product moment analysis was used to analyze the data, and the results showed a strong positive correlation between the dimensions of agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to cognitive appraisal strategies in women who had experienced verbal violence in dating and there was no significant correlation between the dimensions of the big five personality and the expressive suppression strategy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan kecemasan pada kompensasi kasus narkoba di Lapas Kelas IIA Bukittinggi. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional, sebanyak 72 upah laki-laki dipilih secara acak. Instrumen berupa skala dukungan sosial dan skala kecemasan yang telah divalidasi. Hasil menunjukkan dukungan sosial berada pada kategori sedang (58,33%) dan tinggi (41,67%), sementara kecemasan berada pada kategori sedang (75%) dan rendah (25%). Uji Pearson menunjukkan hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara keduanya (r = -0,687, p = 0,001).

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya hambatan diskalkulia pada anak tunarungu dalam pembelajaran matematika, khususnya kesulitan dalam membedakan simbol penjumlahan dan pengurangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk hambatan tersebut serta strategi yang digunakan guru dalam mengatasinya di Sekolah Luar Biasa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan peserta didik tunarungu di salah satu Sekolah Luar Biasa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik mengalami kesulitan kognitif dalam membedakan simbol operasi matematika, yang berdampak pada pemahaman konsep dasar. Guru mengatasi hambatan ini dengan menerapkan evaluasi awal untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan belajar, serta menggunakan strategi pembelajaran multi-sensori yang mengintegrasikan indra visual, auditif, dan kinestetik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang tepat dan adaptif dapat meningkatkan pemahaman matematika pada anak tunarungu, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi pengembangan model pembelajaran inklusif yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the contribution of two Big Five personality traits (extraversion and conscientiousness) as protective factors against suicidal ideation. The research employed a quantitative method with a total of 100 respondents who reported experiencing suicidal ideation. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach, and data were collected through questionnaires. The instruments used included the suicidal ideation scale, the extraversion scale, and the conscientiousness scale. Data analysis using multiple regression techniques revealed the following results: (1) extraversion had a significant negative contribution as a protective factor against suicidal ideation, accounting for 17.17%; (2) conscientiousness also had a significant negative contribution as a protective factor against suicidal ideation, accounting for 16.37%; and (3) both variables together contributed negatively and significantly to protection against suicidal ideation, with a combined contribution of 21.7%.
