Abstract

Multicultural cultural values are a strong foundation to be believed and important in the development of the world of Guidance and Counseling, especially in multicultural counseling practices. The cultural diversity that exists in Indonesia is very appropriate when counselors are able to explore and implement cultural values in counseling practices. One of the cultural values that can be used is to combine the concept of Balinese cultural values based on the beliefs of ancestors since ancient times which are religious through stories and meanings implied from generation to generation in the use of Tridatu thread bracelets and provide a special feel, especially for Hindus. The research method used is a qualitative description method by collecting library data, reading and recording and processing research materials then presenting them and drawing conclusions from the data obtained regarding the use of the Tridatu Bracelet. The thread used for Tridatu is not an ordinary thread. Before being given to the people, the thread has certainly gone through a ritual process first so that it has a deep meaning and philosophy. Hindus believe that the Tridatu Bracelet has the power of God Hyang Almighty as the creator, maintainer, and smelter. Counselors as implementers of counseling must really have an awareness of the cultural diversity that exists. Then the counselor should have good competence in multicultural coverage, namely awareness, knowledge and skills.

The sample size was determined using the Cochran formula, obtaining a sample of 380 students. The data collection instrument used the subjective well-being scale, self-regulation scale, and peer support scale. While data analysis used prerequisite tests, namely the normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test and probability plot, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. Hypothesis testing used multiple regression analysis tests. Based on the research results, it shows that: (1) There is a positive and significant influence of self-regulation on subjective well-being in junior high school students who are victims of bullying with t = 8.267 (α = 0.000; α < 0.05), (2) There is a positive and significant influence of peer support on subjective well-being in junior high school students who are victims of bullying with t = 2.868 (α = 0.004; α <0.05), and (3) There is a positive and significant influence of self-regulation and peer support on subjective well-being in junior high school students who are victims of bullying with F = 48.486 (α = 0.000; α <0.05) . Abstract

Puberty is an important stage in a child's development marked by significant physical and emotional changes. Children at the Ladang Ladong Community Learning Center (CLC), Simunjan, face this phase amidst limited information and support. This research aims to explore children's perspectives at CLC Ladang Ladong regarding their experiences during puberty, especially regarding physical and emotional changes. Using a qualitative approach and in-depth interview methods, data was collected from several puberty-aged children who attended CLC. The results showed that children have varying understandings about changes in their bodies and emotions. Some of them felt confused and lacked self-confidence, while others showed good adaptation. Factors such as communication with parents, the role of teachers, and the social environment contribute to how they deal with these changes. This research underlines the importance of holistic education and better emotional support from the surrounding environment in helping children face puberty.

Abstract

Educational opportunities are part of the culture of peace, which includes many areas of the community's well-being. This study comes up with a new way to measure school peace culture called the School Peace Culture Scale (SPCS). The researcher made the tool by evaluating it theoretically, checking its content validity, followed by doing a confirmatory study to check its internal and external psychometrics. The people who answered were in charge of or led Vocational High Schools in Makassar. There were 63 of them, 24 men and 39 women. The Winstep Rasch Model tool is used to analyze the data. The SPCS has been carefully checked for validity, and 34 items that are particularly good at measuring factors have been found. The results indicate a reliability value of 0.91 and item reliability of 0.82. The study also proved that the proposed SPCS questionnaire can measure the level of peace in schools. Furthermore, the research has confirmed that the items in the proposed SPCS questionnaire effectively assess the extent to which peace is implemented in schools. These results provide a foundation for further investigation. The questionnaire can help determine the extent to which a peaceful culture has been established in schools. Furthermore, the SPCS concept and questionnaire could be valuable tools for assessing schools that require training in promoting peaceful education.
