Abstract

During the last decade, digitalization has affected the structure of education in the world, this change requiring the conversion of conventional education in order to carry out practical and independent learning by students. The purpose of this research is to develop a validated digital teaching material supplement using remote sensing material. The Research and Development model is made following the ADDIE development steps, but is limited to the development stage. Teaching materials are created using Canva software and Heyzine Flipbook. The results of product validation, obtained an average of 91 percent and belonged to the very valid category. The results of the validation test are used as a reference for revision and refinement of teaching materials. Teaching materials were tested on teachers and students of class X IPS 1 SMAN 10 Malang, with a total of 36 students. In general, the test results were categorized as very good, with the test results on teachers amounting to 95 percent, and on students amounting to 92 percent. Based on the results of the trials that have been carried out, it can be seen that digital teaching material supplements are very good for use in learning activities. Selama dekade terakhir, digitalisasi mempengaruhi struktur pendidikan di dunia secara keseluruhan sehingga memerlukan konversi pendidikan konvensional agar terlaksana pembelajaran yang praktis dan mandiri oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suplemen bahan ajar digital pada materi penginderaan jauh menggunakan Heyzine Flipbook yang telah tervalidasi. Model penelitian pengembangan dibuat mengikuti langkah pengembangan ADDIE, namun dibatasi hingga tahap development. Bahan ajar dibuat menggunakan software Canva dan Heyzine Flipbook. Hasil validasi produk memperoleh rerata sebesar 91 persen dan tergolong pada kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji validasi digunakan sebagai bahan revisi serta penyempurnaan bahan ajar. Bahan ajar diujicobakan pada guru dan peserta didik kelas X IPS 1 SMAN 10 Malang, dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 36 siswa. Secara umum, hasil uji coba mendapat kategori sangat baik, dengan skor uji coba pada guru sebesar 95, dan pada siswa sebesar 92 persen. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba, dapat diketahui bahwa suplemen bahan ajar digital sangat baik untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning has several advantages. First, the involvement or role of students is quite high. Both students became enthusiastic and interested in the learning process in working in groups. The purpose of this study was to determine the significant effect of the Problem Based Learning model with the Edmodo platform on the geography critical thinking skills of high school students. The research design used was Quasi Experimental with pretest-posttest design-control group. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Sukadana. Class XI IPS 1 as the experimental class and Class XI IPS 2 as the control class with 30 students per class. Data collection techniques obtained from critical thinking tests that have been tested for validity and reliability. The test questions are designed based on critical thinking indicators and geography material. Analysis using Mann-Whitney test with SPSS 22 for Windows. The results showed that the significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05 and the average value of the experimental class was greater (79.83) than the control class (67), which means that the Problem Based Learning model with the Edmodo platform in geography subjects has an effect on students' critical thinking skills. SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL. The most influential Problem Based Learning syntax is found in the syntax guiding individual and group investigations. In this syntax, students are required to collect data about a given problem. The results of this study can be developed with different research variables. Problem Based Learning memiliki beberapa keunggulan yang pertama keterlibatan atau peran siswa cukup tinggi. Kedua siswa menjadi semangat dan tertarik dalam proses pembelajaran pada pengerjaan secara berkelompok. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan model Problem Based Learning berplatform Edmodo terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis geografi siswa SMA. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental dengan pretest-posttest design-control group. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMAN 1 Sukadana. Kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan Kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa per kelas 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari tes berpikir kritis yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Soal-soal tes dirancang berdasarkan indikator berpikir kritis dan materi geografi. Analisis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney dengan SPSS 22 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 dan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih besar (79,83) dibandingkan kelas kontrol (67), yang berarti model Problem Based Learning berplatform Edmodo pada mata pelajaran geografi berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Sintak Problem Based Learning yang paling berpengaruh terdapat pada sintak membimbing penyelidikan individu maupun kelompok. Pada sintak tersebut siswa dituntut mengumpulkan sebuah data mengenai permasalahan yang diberikan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dikembangkan dengan variabel penelitian yang berbeda.

Abstract

This research is a study using a project-based learning model on environment learning and its influence on creative thinking skills in terms of students' environmental literacy skills. This research was conducted to integrate the creative thinking ability of students with the level of environmental literacy of students who have a positive impact directly on the environment and society. This research has a posttest-only control group design and is a quasi-experiment. Students from SMAN 4 Sidoarjo's class 11 geography course participated as the study's subjects. The determination of experimental and control classes are carried out randomly. The result is that class 11 of Geo 3 specialization is selected as the experimental class while class 11 of Geo 2 specialization as the control class. Data collection using creative thinking ability test instruments and environmental literacy questionnaires. The Independent Sample T-Test and the Two Way Anova test were applied for the statistical analysis using the SPSS 26.0 version for Windows. The research revealed that (1) students' capacity for creative thought is positively impacted by the Project Based on Environment Learning model with a sig value. 0.003 0.05; (2) the project- based environmental learning model has a beneficial impact on students' capacity for original thought in terms of environmental literacy with sig values. 0.037 0.05.

Abstract

Learning Geography is contextual and focuses on problems related to the life of the environment around students. So, we need a learning model that can integrate student knowledge with problems that exist in the surrounding environment. The PBL learning model has the advantage of encouraging students to develop their knowledge in solving a problem individually. In addition, applying the model requires media to make learning more meaningful and effective. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of PBL learning model assisted by animation media on the problem solving ability of geography students at SMA Negeri 8 Malang. The subjects of this study were students of class X. Class X IPS 2 was chosen as the experimental class while class X IPS 1 was the control class. The results showed that there was an effect of PBL model assisted by animation media on students' problem solving ability. The calculation of the t-test of 0.001 which is less than 0.05 and the average experimental class has a value of 84 while the control class with an average value of 77. So it can be said that the treatment of the PBL model assisted by animation media affects the problem solving ability of class X students. Social Studies at SMA Negeri 8 Malang. Pembelajaran Geografi bersifat kontekstual serta berorientasi terhadap permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan lingkungan sekitar siswa. Maka, diperlukan sebuah model pembelajaran yang dapat mengintegrasikan pengetahuan siswa dengan masalah yang ada di lingkungan sekitar. Model pembelajaran PBL memiliki keunggulan yaitu mendorong siswa untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan yang dimiliki dalam memecahkan suatu masalah secara individu Selain itu, dalam menerapkan model tersebut diperlukan media agar pembelajaran lebih bermakna dan efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan media animasi terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah geografi siswa di SMA Negeri 8 Malang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X. Kelas X IPS 2 dipilih sebagai kelas ekeprimen sedangkan kelas X IPS 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil mengenai penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model PBL berbantuan media animasi terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa. Perhitungan dari uji-t memiliki nilai 0,001 yaitu kurang dari 0,05 serta rata-rata kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai 84 sedangkan kelas kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata 77. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah diberikan perlakuan model PBL berbantuan media animasi berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah geografi siswa.

Abstract

This research focuses on the professional development of teachers in rural areas based on digital literacy. It aims to measure the existing digital literacy and competence of rural teachers in Indonesia, Russia, and the Middle East and to assess the extent of digital literacy training provided to rural teachers for their professional development in these regions. In pursuit of this objective, a quantitative research method was incorporated into the study. The survey was conducted specifically for the research, and SPSS was used for statistical analysis. The report reflected the challenges that digitalization faces in rural areas and the differences in the provision of digital literacy training in Indonesia, Russia, and the Middle East. Various limitations are identified as hampering the integration of digital literacy in underdeveloped areas, such as the lack of proper digital infrastructure. However, the situation was found to be somewhat better in the case of Russia, with the teachers reporting the provision of adequate hardware and infrastructure, which were lacking in the cases of Indonesia and the Middle East. The same pattern was found in the case of the provision of digital literacy training opportunities in Indonesia and the Middle East, which lag behind Russia. Abstract

In supporting the achievement of educational goals, it is necessary to provide educational facilities at home to support learning activities. Economic conditions including the level of income and burden of dependents in the family have a role in supporting learning achievement and the need for children's educational facilities at home. The research objective was to determine the effect of income levels and family burden on the provision of educational facilities at home. The sample of this study is the community or parents who have school children in Bangil District, Pasuruan Regency with a total of 450 households as respondents. This study uses 2 types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained directly by means of surveys and interviews with the community. While secondary data was obtained through literature studies in several journals, articles, and through government data that is in accordance with this research. The method in this study is a quantitative study using ordinal logistic regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis of variable X1 (income) has a significance value (0.624 > 0.05) meaning that partially the income variable does not affect educational facilities. Likewise, the X2 variable (Depends) has a significance value (0.231 > 0.05) meaning that partially the dependent variable does not affect educational facilities.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce a digital learning media product based on an articulate storyline of landslide disaster mitigation material. Development is carried out using the ADDIE model, which focuses on the ADD (Analysis, Design, and Development) stage. The results of the learning media validation obtained a feasibility value of 87 percent in terms of material, 93 percent in terms of learning media, and 75 percent in terms of language. Overall, the average value obtained is 85 percent which is included in the very decent classification. In addition, the results of learning media trials conducted on students in terms of appearance, material, and language showed an average value of 97 percent which was classified as very feasible. Not only that, the superior components of learning media in the form of student activities in the form of independent exploration and earth studios, pop-up menus, and a combination of video and audio also get very decent ratings. This makes articulate storyline-based digital learning media suitable for use and implementation in learning activities. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu produk media pembelajaran digital berbasis articulate storyline pada materi mitigasi bencana longsor. Pengembangan yang dilakukan menggunakan model ADDIE yang difokuskan pada tahap ADD (Analysis, Design, and Development). Hasil validasi media pembelajaran mendapatkan nilai kelayakan sebesar 87 persen dari segi materi, 93 persen dari segi media pembelajaran dan 75 persen dari segi bahasa. Secara keseluruhan rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh sebesar 85 persen yang masuk pada klasifikasi sangat layak. Selain itu, hasil uji coba media pembelajaran yang dilakukan kepada siswa dari segi tampilan, materi dan bahasa menunjukkan diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 97 persen yang masuk klasifikasi sangat layak. Tidak hanya itu, komponen unggulan pada media pembelajaran berupa kegiatan siswa berupa eksplorasi mandiri dan earth studio, pop-up menu serta kombinasi video dan audio juga mendapatkan penilaian sangat layak. Hal tersebut menjadikan media pembelajaran digital berbasis articulate storyline telah layak digunakan dan diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

The fundamental skill in learning Geography is the ability to think spatially. The Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by 3D Maps makes it easier for students to utilize knowledge and understanding of the material as a medium to improve spatial thinking. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the PjBL model with the aid of 3D Maps on the material of river flow patterns on the spatial thinking skills of high school students. This research uses a quasi-experiment method. Consisted of 70 students as research subjects with details of 35 students in the experimental class and 35 students in the control class. The results showed that there was an increase in students' spatial thinking skills, where the experimental class was higher than the control class. The PjBL model with the help of 3D Maps material on river flow patterns has a positive impact on the spatial thinking skills of high school students. The researcher also compared the students' average post-test scores by gender. The results show that female students get better average scores than male students. Many factors affect the difference in the level of thinking of men and women, including: spatial experiences, environmental factors, and emotional differences. Model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan 3D Maps mempermudah siswa dalam memanfaatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan pemahaman materi sebagai media meningkatkan berpikir spasial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PjBL berbantuan 3D Maps materi pola aliran sungai terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasy experiment. Terdiri dari 70 siswa sebagai subyek penelitian dengan rincian 35 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 35 siswa kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian membuktikan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa, dimana kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Model PjBL berbantuan 3D Maps materi pola aliran sungai memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa SMA. Peneliti juga membandingkan nilai rata-rata post-test siswa berdasarkan gender. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa siswa perempuan mendapatkan nilai rata-rata lebih baik daripada siswa laki-laki. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi perbedaan tingkat berpikir laki-laki dan perempuan, diantaranya yaitu: pengalaman spasial, faktor lingkungan dan perbedaan emosi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in students' analytical thinking abilities using the Guided Discovery Learning model and the Problem Based Learning Model in Geography subject in high school. The ability to think analytically is important for students in learning geography because it is needed to analyze the spatial relations of a phenomenon. Discovery activities in this study made students gain new knowledge. The research is in the form of a quasi-experiment in the form of a posttest only control group design. This research was conducted at SMAN 4 Malang with a sample of X IPS 3 (experiment 1) and X IPS 4 (experiment 2) in the odd semester of 2022/2023. Measurement of analytical thinking ability through a description test according to indicators of analytical thinking ability. The data analysis technique used the t-test, previously the prerequisite tests were carried out, namely the normality and homogeneity tests. The results showed that there were differences in students' analytical thinking skills using the Guided Discovery Learning model and the Problem Based Learning model, this was indicated by the Sig. hypothesis test of 0.001 <0.05. The Guided Discovery Learning model is better than the Problem Based Learning Model for students' analytical thinking skills. This is evidenced by the average posttest score of experimental class 1 which received the learning treatment with the Guided Discovery Learning Model of 80.58. While the experimental class 2 which received the learning treatment with the Problem Based Learning Model obtained an average score of 72.71. Several factors influenced the average value of analytical thinking skills in experimental class 1 to be higher than in experimental class 2, namely the success of students in solving geographic problems through group investigations in the Guided Discovery Learning model and the aid of the learning media used, namely Sparkol Videoscribe. The application of the Guided Discovery Learning model and the Problem Based Learning Model requires a long time. Therefore, proper preparation and time management is required before implementation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa dengan menggunakan model Guided Discovery Learning dan Model Problem Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Geografi di SMA. Kemampuan berpikir analitis penting dimiliki siswa dalam pembelajaran geografi karena dibutuhkan untuk menganalisis relasi keruangan dari suatu fenomena. Kegiatan penemuan dalam penelitian ini membuat siswa mendapatkan pengetahuan baru. Penelitian berupa quasi experiment bentuk posttest only control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 4 Malang dengan sampel X IPS 3 (eksperimen 1) dan X IPS 4 (eksperimen 2) pada semester ganjil 2022/2023. Pengukuran kemampuan berpikir analitis melalui tes uraian sesuai dengan indikator kemampuan berpikir analitis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t, sebelumnya dilakukan uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa dengan menggunakan model Guided Discovery Learning dan Model Problem Based Learning, hal ini ditunjukan dengan nilai Sig. uji hipotesis sebesar 0,001< 0,05. Model Guided Discovery Learning lebih baik dibandingkan Model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen 1 yang mendapat perlakuan pembelajaran dengan Model Guided Discovery Learning sebesar 80,58. Sedangkan kelas eksperimen 2 yang mendapatkan perlakuan pembelajaran dengan Model Problem Based Learning memperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 72,71. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi rata-rata nilai kemampuan berpikir analitis kelas eksperimen 1 lebih tinggi daripada kelas eksperimen 2 adalah keberhasilan siswa dalam memecahkan permasalahan geografi melalui penyelidikan kelompok pada model Guided Discovery Learning dan bantuan media pembelajaran yang diterapkan yaitu Sparkol Videoscribe. Penerapan model Guided Discovery Learning dan Model Problem Based Learning memerlukan waktu yang lama. Maka dari itu diperlukan persiapan dan pengelolaan waktu yang baik sebelum diimplementasikan.
