Abstract

This community service activity aims to reduce the abundance of plastic waste, particularly plastic bottles, in the Ubung Kaja Village environment. After participating in this activity, participants will learn how to make chairs from used plastic bottles and process plastic waste, making the resulting products marketable. One of the efforts to tackle non-organic waste (such as plastic bottles and plastic bags) is to create chairs, tables, and beds with high market value. The aim and benefit of this community activity is to develop appropriate technology for managing plastic and bottle waste, thereby reducing the increasing volume of plastic waste. Ecobricks, commonly known as environmentally friendly bricks, are a method to minimize waste by filling plastic bottles with non-organic waste until they are completely solid and compact. This practice also educates children about non-organic waste, demonstrating how it can be repurposed into useful items like tables or chairs instead of waste.

Abstract

This community service project, a collaborative effort between the government, the local community, and the tourism awareness groups, aims to provide development strategies for achieving sustainable tourism in Undisan Village. The main focus of the initiative is on our collective roles as facilitators, regulators, and motivators in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the area. The primary issue identified is the unsustainable economic development of the local community. The optimal utilization of Tangkup Waterfall in Undisan Village as a tourist destination is also a key concern. The results of this community service project indicate that the government, local community, and tourism awareness groups play a crucial role as facilitators in improving the supporting infrastructure and facilities for tourism in Undisan Village. As regulators, the government is responsible for designing regulations and policies that support sustainable tourism management. However, the government's role as a motivator has yet to be fully realized, necessitating efforts in socialization, training, and allocating stimulant funds to further develop tourism management in the area. In conclusion, the government has a strategic role in achieving the SDGs in Undisan Village through sustainable tourism development. Implementing strategies that align with the region's needs and potential is expected to make positive contributions to the economic, ecological, and socio-cultural aspects.

Abstract

The Ecomangrove Ulamsari Kedonganan tourist attraction is one of Bali's ecotourism destinations, offering educational and recreational experiences in a mangrove forest area. The increasing number of visitors poses potential negative impacts on the environment and society. This service aims to analyze sustainable tourism management at Ecomangrove Ulamsari Kedonganan. The findings show that sustainable tourism management at Ecomangrove Ulamsari Kedonganan is still not optimal. The ecological, economic, and socio-cultural aspects need to be better integrated. The ecological aspect has yet to be fully implemented in waste management, wastewater treatment, and carrying capacity. The economic aspect could have been more optimal in increasing local income and equitable economic benefits. The socio-cultural aspect has yet to be fully applied in local community empowerment and cultural preservation. Based on the findings, several strategies are recommended to improve sustainable tourism management at Ecomangrove Ulamsari Kedonganan:1. Implementing better waste and wastewater management systems, 2. Developing more creative and innovative ecotourism, 3. Increasing local community participation in ecotourism management, 4. Strengthening education and awareness for tourists about ecotourism

Abstract

Environmental awareness among MSMEs in Dauh Puri Kangin Village is crucial for promoting sustainability and improving public health. Key aspects include 1) Implementing environmental business ethics to minimize production impacts and enhance sustainability; 2) Raising MSMEs' understanding and awareness of waste management; and 3) Government support to facilitate waste management, including improving IPAL facility operations. In addition to environmental concerns, MSMEs face challenges such as limited business capital, licensing issues, poor financial management, lack of product innovation, and difficulties in business development. Addressing these obstacles is essential for their growth. Digital marketing offers significant opportunities for MSMEs to expand their market reach. Effective strategies include: 1) Creating mobile-friendly websites to showcase products, design promotional campaigns, and provide seamless customer experiences; 2) Utilizing social media platforms for promotion, including forming dedicated customer groups on WhatsApp and Line to share product catalogs; 3) Collaborating with marketplaces like Shopee and Tokopedia to enhance payment security and customer trust; 4) Implementing email marketing campaigns to engage with potential customers; and 5) Providing responsive customer service through digital channels such as email, social media, and online chat platforms. Key principles of successful digital marketing involve understanding the target audience, selecting appropriate digital platforms, and analyzing marketing data to measure performance. By adopting these strategies, MSMEs in Dauh Puri Kangin Village can achieve sustainable growth, enhance competitiveness, and contribute positively to environmental and economic development.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of digital marketing strategies on the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bali. Through a quantitative approach, this study tests the hypothesis that various digital marketing strategies-including search engine optimisation, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, and influencer marketing-significantly predict SME performance. The findings show that the implementation of these strategies contributes to increased sales, market share, and better customer relationships. Although the hypothesis regarding dynamic environment moderation did not show significant effects, the study identified challenges that SMEs face, such as resource limitations and digital literacy deficits. The results recommend that SMEs should utilise digital channels more effectively and conduct data-driven analysis to optimise marketing strategies. This research confirms the importance of digital marketing as a vital tool for the growth and success of SMEs in Bali.
