Abstract

The use of renewable energy sources (RES), especially photovoltaic (PV), to meet the demand of electrical energy has been getting a great deal of attention as an alternative solution to electrical energy deficit problems. RES are being applied in power systems in a variety of configurations including microgrid systems. One of the characteristics of a microgrid is capability to supplying power to grid when there is an excess power to supply local load. This research examines the chances of saving power consumption from grid using power converters grid tie inverter (GTI) in a microgrid configuration. The test is done by using a zero load and power distribution methods. Test results show grid tie GTI capable of supplying electrical power to grid up to 98% of the input power converter. In the microgrid configuration power usage from grid can be reduced up to 91%, which should be supplied from the grid to load.

Abstract

The presence of surveillance cameras plays an important role in helping the process of monitoring and evaluating human activities in the monitored area. This ability can prevent or trace undesirable events such as criminal acts or some accidents that related to human activities. However, most of the surveillance camera that used nowadays only held a passive role in security that can lead to an increased potential risk of negligence by the guards (users) in the process of monitoring the activities that are happening. This study aims to design a system that is able to improve the performance of surveillance cameras in detecting and calculating numbers of human based on Movidius NCS on a Raspberry Pi device so that the camera can be active and be able to provide optimal results and reduce the use of excess space on the storage. The human object detection system that is used in this research applies Deep Learning technique with Mobilenet-SSD as its network architecture model. The research trials were carried out under various conditions of light intensity starting from 50-550 lux and distance to objects in range of 1-10 meters. The results showed that the accuracy obtained by the system was able to reach 91.67% with 49.24% of storage efficiency.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This study estimates how much economic value will be lost from contact activities within the coastal areas in the research location. Background Problems: The area of Semarang City has flood and tidal problems, the damage to the mangrove forests in Semarang City began with the boom in shrimp farming between 1980 and 1990. Hopefully, this valuation can provide an overview of the current health of the ecosystem and become the basis for a mangrove management strategy in the future. Novelty: The novelty of this study is that it uses a sharper satellite (Image Pleades Resolution 0.5 m) to calculate the mangrove area in the research location. Research Methods: This research uses a total economic valuation, an estimation of the mangrove’s carbon stock and heavy metals, the replacement cost to prevent tidal flooding, and the willingness to pay. Findings/Results: We find that the existing economic value in the study area is very large and should be preserved for conservation. Conclusion: The environment cannot produce something instantly, but it needs to be preserved as a balance to nature.

Abstract

The process of determining outstanding students at SMK Tunas Sinar Mandiri Cianjur is not only determined by academic scores, but considers several non-academic aspects such as gender, extracurricular activeness, presence, and personality. For academic scores, it is taken from the scores of productive subjects in class X and XI. To predict which student excel in class XII, data mining techniques can be applied using the k nearest neighbor (kNN) algorithm with k = 1. The stages of the data mining process follow the stages in Knowledge Discovery on Databases (KDD). This stage starts from selection, preprocessing, transformation, data mining, and evaluation / interpretation. The data transformation process uses the minimum method and the distance formula used is the euclidian distance. Making this data mining application follows the waterfall paradigm. From the results of the analysis and design using Unified Model Langunge (UML), several main pages were produced, namely managing student data, determining variables and variable weights. By applying this data mining techniqu it can make it easier for schools to prepare students who will get scholarships.

Abstract

Objective:  To find out the implementation of Minister of Health Regulation 65/2015 regarding Physiotherapy Service Standards and Minister of Health Regulation 43/2019 regarding Health Centers (Puskesmas) in the East Java region Physiotherapy as a health worker is regulated in the Physiotherapy service standard at the Puskesmas. Health center regulations do not have physiotherapists. Methods: This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, aiming to get a general understanding of reality from the participant's perspective. through in-depth interviews with informants. Sampling is non-probability with the type of purposive sampling. The inclusion criteria were the Head of the City/Regency Health Office whose working area did not yet have physiotherapy services at the Puskesmas and was willing to be an informant. While the exclusion criteria were the Head of the City/Regency Health Office whose work area already had physiotherapy services at the Puskesmas and was willing to be an informant. Sources of data obtained from interviews with informants and secondary data through document studies. The interview included an understanding of the meaning of physiotherapy in relation to services at the Puskesmas. based on Permenkes 65/2015 and what is his opinion about the presence of physiotherapists in several health centers in East Java. Document studies were obtained from the laws and regulations concerning physiotherapy and Puskesmas. Results:  Most of the informants interpreted physiotherapy as health workers in referral services, namely hospitals and joined in rehabilitation services. Not all informants understand about physiotherapy services at the Puskesmas because in writing there are no physiotherapists in Permenkes 43/2019. Meanwhile, the understanding of rehabilitation is interpreted as secondary and even tertiary services. The services at the Puskesmas are primary services, which are more promotive and preventive. Informants are of the opinion that the presence of personnel in the Puskesmas depends on the policies of each region and also the needs.Addition of personnel at the Puskesmas has an impact on regional budgets and capabilities, besides there is no clear list of service activities. The study of the Permenkes 65/2015 document clearly states the existence of physiotherapy services at the Puskesmas, but in Permenkes 43/2019 it has not been clearly stated that there are physiotherapists. Conclusion:  The implementation of Permenkes 65/2015 concerning Standards for Physiotherapy Services, especially in Puskesmas in the East Java region is still very minimal, namely 62 out of 968 Puskesmas (6.4%). Permenkes 43/2019 regarding Puskesmas has not stated the presence of physiotherapists, so there is no synchronization of laws and regulations related to physiotherapy services.

Abstract

Background: One way to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus to health workers is to adhere to the use of personal protective equipment. Increased compliance by health workers will increase awareness of the dangers of Covid-19 infection. Methods: Use a cross-sectional approach to design and conduct a descriptive analysis of the research. The population of all health workers at the Usada Buana Inpatient Main Clinic Surabaya, with a sample of 102, was determined by a proportional random sampling technique. Structural Model Analysis (SEM-PLS) with significance T Value > 1.64, with steps: designing a measurement model (outer model), designing a structural model (inner model), constructing a path diagram, converting a path diagram to a system of equations, estimating path coefficient, loading, and weight, evaluating the goodness of fit, and hypothesis testing. Results: The results showed that 48% of the excessive or low intentions of health workers in the use of COVID-19 PPE can very well be explained by attitudes (X1), subjective norms (X2), and perceptions of behavioral control (X3). In the meantime, 65.1% of the excessive or low adherence to COVID-19 PPE in medical examiners can be defined with the aid of the version used in this study (the model idea of deliberate conduct), and other variables outside this study version explain the rest (34.1%). Conclusion: Attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral controls can affect compliance with PPE use through intention mediation. Further studies are also endorsed to behavior research on the layout of instructional interventions based totally on the Theory of planned conduct in enhancing medical experts' compliance with adherence to PPE.
