Abstract

This research was conducted through a qualitative approach. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The instruments used were observation sheets, interview guides, audio and video recording devices and teacher administrative documents. For data testing, data triangulation techniques are used. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the following steps data collection; data reduction; data display, and verification and conclusion. The results showed that 1) the pedagogical competence of the teacher in managing the learning process at SMP Negeri 1 Prabumulih was classified as good; 2) the obstacles faced by teachers in managing the learning process are teachers' lack of understanding of the 2013 curriculum; scoring system; teachers only rely on textbooks or teacher handbooks in delivering learning materials without trying to find other relevant learning sources; lack of use of learning media; and teachers' inadequate ICT skills; 3) there has been no real effort made by the majority of teachers in overcoming obstacles faced in the management of the learning process.

Abstract

This study determined the implementation of learning management used by teachers in improving student achievement. The data collection methods are observation, interview and documentation, then checking the validity of the data by comparing the information provided by the informant and the observation data with the results of the interview, then the data is analyzed qualitatively. From the results of the study, it was found that: 1) the implementation of learning management by teachers in improving student achievement was carried out by identifying, objectives, benefits, planning steps, planning stages, including indicators or quality targets to be achieved as a process of increasing learning achievement students in order to realize the quality of education; 2) the inhibiting factor for the implementation of learning management at SDN in Babat Toman Subdistrict, Musi Banyuasin Regency, namely the lack of awareness of teachers to compile lesson plans, many students are passive in implementing learning even though they have been given a stimulus by the teacher and the lack of variation in assessments carried out by the teacher and too many students so the time allocation for conducting the assessment is insufficient or difficult; 3) a solution to overcoming obstacles, namely by conducting trainings on how to compile a good syllabus and lesson plans applying learning strategies that are evaluated by varying assessment techniques.

Abstract

The school environment is a physical and non-physical situation that occurs within the purview of the school. The school atmosphere is assisting instructors in developing motivation. As a result, the purpose of this study was to prove hypotheses regarding the effect of the school environment and extrinsic motivation on teacher performance. The quantitative descriptive approach was employed in the implementation of this research. The population is 125 persons, with 30 people serving as a trial sample and 95 people serving as the study's main sample. Data was collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation approaches. In this study, data were analyzed using inferential statistics such as simple correlation tests, multiple correlation tests, t-tests, and f-tests Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, Jejawi District. According to the findings of the study, the school environment and extrinsic motivation have an impact on the performance of State Junior High School teachers in Jejawi District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, both partially and concurrently.

Abstract

This study was conducted to provide a comprehensive description of the principal’s leadership and teacher’s performance on the quality of education. The method used in this study is a quantitative. The results obtained that partially there is an influence of the principal’s leadership on the quality of education; partially there is an influence of teacher’s performance on the quality of education; Likewise, simultaneously there is the influence of the principal’s leadership and teacher’s performance on the quality of education in SMA Negeri in South OKU Rayon 1.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of clearly and straightforwardly describing the influence of academic supervision and teacher motivation on the achievement of teacher’s performance. Therefore, the method used in this research is descriptive quantitative so as to be able to provide a firm answer through hypothesis testing. The results obtained from the research that has been done that partially academic supervision is able to have a positive and significant influence on teacher’s performance, as well as teacher motivation who also participates in giving effect to work performance achievement. The tests carried out simultaneously stated that academic supervision and teacher motivation were able to have a positive and significant influence on teacher’s performance in State Vocational Schools throughout Muara Enim District, amounting to 36.8% and included in the sufficient category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and assess the effects of the principal’s leadership style, teacher job satisfaction, and the combination of the two on the performance of elementary school teachers in the Sosoh Buay Rayap District. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods. There were 90 participants in this study, all of them were elementary school teachers employed by the Sosoh Buay Rayap sub-district. The entire research population is used as the research sample because the overall population is less than 100. Using surveys, observation, and interviews as data collecting methods. The findings demonstrated that the principal’s leadership style had an impact on teacher performance, as indicated by the t-count = 2.845, t-count > t-table 1.960. It is possible to conclude that the relationship with subordinates and their performance will improve as a result of greater leadership. 46.4% of teachers said that their job satisfaction at school affects their performance. The F-count score is 12.420 > F-table, indicating that the principal’s leadership style and work satisfaction have a considerable impact on teacher performance, according to the principal’s leadership style and contentment with teacher performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and assess the effect of education and training and work environment on teacher’s performance. This study uses quantitative research methods and the research design is in the form of an influence study, to determine the effect between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The findings demonstrated that there is a significant effect of the education and training and work environment partially and simultaneously on the performance of State Junior High School teachers in Pemulutan District. The novelty of this article, where the school will have good teacher’s performance, all stakeholders should create good work environment and give chance for teachers’ education and training.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the principal's leadership in building the character of students at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung, the constraints of the principal's leadership in building the character of students at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung and efforts to overcome obstacles to the leadership of the principal in building character students at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung. The research methodology used the descriptive qualitative method by using triangulation with data taken from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the principal's leadership in building the character of students at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung was carried out in 3 stages including planning to strengthen the character of the students at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung, implementing strengthening the character of students at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung and evaluating the implementation of a character-based curriculum for SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung. This study found that the obstacles faced were from internal and external factors, namely the lack of awareness of students, teacher, and parent factors, and solutions that were not optimal in building the character of students.

Abstract

This research describes how to manage the Library Sarpras in increasing students’ interest in reading. This study uses qualitative data, namely data expressed in words or symbols which are separated according to categories to draw conclusions. This research is planned to be carried out from July to November 2022. At SMK Negeri 1 Lais it is related to the problem of management of facilities and infrastructure in the library and the problem of reading interest in the library. With data collection techniques by observation, interview and documentation. The result of the research is that the management of library facilities in increasing students’ interest in reading at SMK Negeri 1 Lais Musi Banyuasin is by carrying out reading habituation program activities in the library, diligently visiting the library to read or borrow library materials.

Abstract

This study intends to describe and analyze three things: (1) teacher performance; (2) the principal’s supervision and motivation towards teachers; and (3) elements that encourage the supervision and motivation of school principals in improving teacher performance. The creation of a qualitative descriptive analysis strategy model and/or a qualitative verification analysis strategy model is a qualitative component of this study. At SD Negeri 123, Sukarame District, Palembang, this research was conducted with principals, 10 teachers and supervisors as respondents. Observations, interviews, and documentation are used as data collection methods. By using triangulation techniques, data analysis. From the research results it is known that the Principal of Public Elementary School (SD) 123, Sukarame District, Palembang has done a good job in motivating and supervising the teachers there. encouraging teachers, improving teacher performance, recognizing teacher abilities, and understanding.
