Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan permainan wordwall sebagai metode pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek yang digunakan adalah 14 siswa kelas IV-B SDN 1 Bengkel. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPS pada siklus I sebesar 68,57. Berdasarkan hasil siklus I yang masih dalam kategori rendah, maka peneliti memutuskan untuk melanjutkan ke siklus II. Pada siklus II rata-rata hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPS sebesar 83,57 yang berarti hasil tersebut termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran wordwall game dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV-B SDN 1 Bengkel.

Abstract

Abstrak: Desa teniga merupakan salah satu dari 7 desa yang berada di Dataran tinggi kecematan Tanjung kabupaten Lombok Utara Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat secara geografis desa Teniga berada di ketinggian 400 m di atas permukaan Laut,  Wilayahnya memiliki Luas 1440 H dan jumlah penduduk 2933 jiwa yang dimana penduduk tersebar di 9 Dusun. di Desa Teniga bermayoritas Penduduk beragama Islam dan suku asli Sasak, Desa Teniga Memiliki potensi ekonomi disektor perkebunan dan sektor Pariwisata. Pariwisata di Indonesia merupakan salah satu sektor, yang memi1iki potensi yang layak untuk dikembangkan dan dikelolaa secara maksimal. Salah satu tempat wisata yang dapat di kembangkan sebagai desa wisata yang ada di desa teniga yaitu taman pecatu. Adapun kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat mengembangkan potensi wisata yang berada di Desa Teniga  salah satunya menjadikan Taman pecatu sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata  yang diperuntukkan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian desa. Metode yang digunakan ialah melalui penataan Taman pecatu sebagai desa wisata dengan beberapa tahapan didalamnya. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat membuat masyarakat di desa Teniga sadar akan besarnya potensi wisata yang dimiliki sehingga dapat terus melanjutkan pengembangan agar ke depannya dapat menarik minat wisatawan dalam jumlah besar berkunjung ke desa Teniga.Abstract:  Abstract: teniga Village is one of 7 villages located in the Highlands of Tanjung kecematan, North Lombok regency, West Nusa Tenggara province geographically Teniga village is located at an altitude of 400 m above sea level, its area has an area of 1440 H and a population of 2933 people where the population is spread over 9 Hamlets. in Teniga village with a majority population of Muslims and Indigenous Sasak, Teniga village has economic potential in the plantation sector and the tourism sector. One of the tourist attractions that can be developed as a tourist village in teniga village is pecatu Park. The service activity aims to help the community develop tourism potential in Teniga Village, one of which is to make pecatu Park as one of the tourist destinations intended to improve the village economy. The method used is through the arrangement of pecatu Park as a tourist village with several stages in it. With this service activity, it is hoped that it can make the community in Teniga village aware of the amount of tourism potential that is owned so that it can continue to develop so that in the future it can attract large numbers of toaurists visiting Teniga village.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) analyse the effectiveness of the Neurological Impress Method in teaching reading at a junior high school in  Lingsar, West Lombok.. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The researcher employed two classes in this study, control and experimental classes. This research has 30 students as the sample of study in which each class consists of 15 students. The reading test is utilized for collecting the data as the research instrument. Sampling was carried out using cluster random sampling. The data was analysed using SPSS 12 which the data collected from the pre-test and post-test design. The results showed that the use of the neurological impress method affected students' reading skills. Students' reading achievement before being taught using the neurological impress method in reading texts is generally low, as shown by the average score of 40.76. Students reading achievement after being taught by using the neurological impress method is better than before. This can be seen from the mean value of 67.13. Statistical analysis using paired sample t-test using SPSS 12, indicated by t (0.05) t-table value is (0.000)  and t-value or t-count (0.000). It was lower than the 0.05 level. The alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Therefore, this research is expected to provide implications for implementing the neurological impress method for teaching reading skills in junior high schools in Indonesia to encourage the improvement of the neurological impress method on a large scale.

Abstract

ABSTRAKBerdasarkan survey awal yang dilakukan oleh tim PKM pengabdian masyarakat Univeritas Muhammadiyah Mataram, tim menemukan bahwa siswa-siswa di SMPN 17 Mataram mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar Bahasa Inggris, hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya  pembelajaran yang bervariasi yang mengapilkasikan teknik-teknik pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Mitra sasaran dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 17 Mataram sejumlah 35 orang. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa inggris siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Kegiatan ini bertemakan kegiatan belajar bahasa inggris yang menyenangkan dengan metode games untuk menyampaikan materi bahasa inggris yang menyenangkan.  Metode dalam pelatihan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan.  Pencapaian hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah menigkatnya kemampuan peserta dalam menguasai beberapa kosakata dengan benar, peserta telah memahami  cara menulis kalimat sederhana dengan benar dan peserta dapat berbicara bahasa Inggris. Kata kunci: belajar bahasa inggris; pembelajaran yang menyenangkan; games ABSTRACTBased on an initial survey conducted by the community service team of Muhammadiyah Mataram University, the team found that students at SMPN 17 Mataram had difficulty learning English, this was due to the lack of varied learning that applied fun learning techniques. The target partners of this training activity are seventh grade students of SMPN 17 Mataram totaling 35 people. This community service activity aims to improve students' English language skills in language learning. This activity is focused on fun English learning activities with the method of games to deliver fun English material.  The method in training is carried out using the training method.  The results of this community service is the improvement in the ability of participants to master some vocabulary correctly, understood how to write simple sentences correctly and speak simple English. Keywords: learning English; fun learning; games

Abstract

Conducting a need analysis is crucial for tailoring academic writing instruction to meet the students’ need. Need analysis serve as systematic tool  for developing relevant learning materials that align with students’ learning needs. This research hold significant importance in adressing the integration of project-based learning (PjBL) and blended learning within the context of academic writing. By identifying the needs of students, it provides valuable insight for culliculum designers and educators in English education program.  The research aims to identify the students' need for project-based learning with blended learning in academic writing. This study is conducted as survey research at the English education study program at Muhammadiyah University of Mataram and Mandalika University of Education. The questionnaire of collecting data consists of 61 statements with 11 factors. The result of the research shows that all of the students need eleven factors such as learning objectives, topic needs, teaching material requirements, needs assessment, the need of PJBL syntax, blended learning, social system need, requirement principle of reaction, need of support system, learning impact need, and need for impact accompanying learning. The results of this research are expected contributing to the lecturers, stakeholders, and curriculum development of project-based blended learning in academic writiting at the English Education department.

Abstract

Abstrak Masih rendahnya kemampuan berbahasa Inggris  yang dimiliki masyarakat desa  Medana merupakan masalah serius yang perlu segera diberikan solusi. Mitra sasaran dari kegiatan ini anggota pokdarwis yang ada di Desa Medana kabupaten Lombok Utara. Peserta yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini  terdiri atas   20 orang anggota Pokdarwis. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa inggris guiding bagi anggota Pokdarwis desa Medana. Metode dalam pelatihan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan. Pencapaian hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatnya kemampuan peserta dalam materi prinsip -prinsip pemahaman lintas budaya (Cross Cultural Understanding), kultur, nilai dalam sebuah budaya dan attitude terhadap budaya lain, pelatihan komunikasi lintas secara verbal dan non verbal,   salam dan perkenalan (greeting and introduction), tourist welcoming, tourism vocabulary, tour guide dialogue, menjelaskan produk dan budaya yang ada di daerah tersebut, dan homestay reservation,teori dan materi dasar hospitality. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pendampingan ini telah tercapai dengan baik. Kata kunci: pendampingan; bahasa inggris guiding; pokdarwis Abstract The low level of English language skills possessed by the people of Medana village is a serious problem that needs to be solved immediately. The target partners of this activity are members of Pokdarwis in Medana Village, North Lombok Regency. The participants involved in this activity consisted of 20 Pokdarwis members. This community service activity aims to improve English guiding skills for members of the Medana village Pokdarwis. The method in the training was carried out using the training method. The achievement of the results of this community service is the increasing ability of participants in the material of the principles of cross-cultural understanding, culture, values in a culture and attitude towards other cultures, verbal and non-verbal cross communication training, greeting and introduction, tourist welcoming, tourism vocabulary, tour guide dialogue, explaining products and culture in the area, and homestay reservation, theory and basic hospitality materials. Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi bahasa Inggris anggota Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Sejahtera di Desa Medana, Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya penguasaan bahasa Inggris fungsional anggota Pokdarwis dalam melayani wisatawan asing. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, tim pelaksana merancang pelatihan bahasa Inggris berbasis e-learning dengan pendekatan komunikatif yang kontekstual dan praktis. Pelatihan dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Tahap persiapan meliputi observasi kebutuhan dan penyusunan modul pembelajaran. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan metode blended learning melalui sesi tatap muka dan daring menggunakan Google Classroom dan WhatsApp. Peserta dilibatkan secara aktif dalam kegiatan simulasi, diskusi, dan praktik langsung. Evaluasi program dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner Likert kepada seluruh peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris peserta, terutama dalam konteks pariwisata. Selain itu, pelatihan juga meningkatkan motivasi peserta untuk terus belajar secara mandiri. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan bahasa Inggris berbasis e-learning dapat menjadi alternatif solusi pembelajaran di daerah wisata pedesaan. Kata kunci: pengabdian kepada masyarakat; bahasa inggris; pokdarwis; e-learning; pembelajaran kontekstual; pariwisata. Abstract This community service activity aims to improve the English communication skills of members of the Sejahtera Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in Medana Village, North Lombok Regency. This activity was motivated by the low level of functional English proficiency among Pokdarwis members in serving foreign tourists. To address this issue, the implementation team designed an e-learning-based English language training program using a communicative, contextual, and practical approach. The training was conducted in three phases: preparation, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The preparation phase involved needs assessment and the development of learning modules. The implementation phase was carried out using a blended learning method, combining face-to-face sessions and online sessions via Google Classroom and WhatsApp. Participants were actively involved in simulations, discussions, and hands-on practice. Program evaluation was conducted through the distribution of Likert questionnaires to all participants. Evaluation results indicated that the training was effective in improving participants' English language skills, particularly in the context of tourism. Additionally, the training enhanced participants' motivation to continue learning independently. These findings suggest that e-learning-based English language training can serve as an alternative solution for education in rural tourist areas. Keywords: community service; english language; pokdarwis; e-learning; contextual learning; tourism

Abstract

Abstrak SMA Muhammadiyah Mataram Perguruan Anyelir mengalami vakum operasional sejak tahun ajaran 2022/2023, mencerminkan krisis kelembagaan yang tidak hanya bersifat administratif, tetapi juga struktural dan strategis. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memetakan secara mendalam potensi, tantangan, serta arah pengembangan sekolah guna merumuskan strategi revitalisasi berbasis data dan kolaborasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif-kolaboratif dengan melibatkan Majelis Dikdasmen PDM Kota Mataram, alumni, ortom Muhammadiyah, dan mitra strategis dari MBS UMMat. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup observasi lapangan, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan analisis SWOT. Hasil FGD menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sekolah menghadapi persoalan serius seperti ketidakaktifan manajemen, lemahnya promosi digital, dan kerusakan infrastruktur, terdapat modal sosial yang kuat berupa dukungan alumni, lokasi strategis, serta jejaring ortom yang aktif. Strategi revitalisasi yang diusulkan meliputi rebranding kelembagaan, penyusunan visi-misi baru, kurikulum kontekstual berbasis nilai Islam progresif dan teknologi digital, serta penguatan kemitraan dan promosi digital. Selain itu, telah disusun roadmap revitalisasi selama tiga tahun sebagai panduan operasional. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa transformasi kelembagaan sekolah Muhammadiyah hanya dapat dicapai melalui pendekatan sistemik dan partisipatif. Praktik baik yang dihasilkan diharapkan tidak hanya membangkitkan kembali SMA Muhammadiyah Mataram, tetapi juga menjadi model revitalisasi bagi sekolah-sekolah Muhammadiyah lain yang menghadapi problematika serupa di tingkat nasional. Kata kunci: pemetaan lanjutan potensi; tantangan; arah pengembangan SMA. Abstract Muhammadiyah Mataram Anyelir High School has been experiencing operational vacuum since the 2022/2023 academic year, reflecting an institutional crisis that is not only administrative but also structural and strategic. This community service activity aims to map in depth the potential, challenges, and direction of school development in order to formulate data-based and collaborative revitalization strategies. The method used is a participatory-collaborative approach involving the Mataram City PDM Dikdasmen Council, alumni, Muhammadiyah ortom, and strategic partners from MBS UMMat. Data collection techniques include field observations, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and SWOT analysis. The FGD results showed that although the school faces serious problems such as inactive management, weak digital promotion, and infrastructure damage, there is strong social capital in the form of alumni support, a strategic location, and an active affiliated organization network. The proposed revitalization strategies include institutional rebranding, the formulation of a new vision and mission, a contextual curriculum based on progressive Islamic values and digital technology, and the strengthening of partnerships and digital promotion. In addition, a three-year revitalization roadmap has been developed as an operational guide. This activity proves that institutional transformation of Muhammadiyah schools can only be achieved through a systemic and participatory approach. The resulting best practices are expected to not only revive Muhammadiyah Mataram High School, but also serve as a model for revitalization for other Muhammadiyah schools facing similar problems at the national level. Keywords: advanced potential mapping; challenges; high school development direction.

Abstract

AbstrakKabupaten Lombok Utara merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang berada di wilayah Nusa Tenggara Barat. Kabupaten ini memiliki beberapa desa, salah satu diantaranya yaitu Desa Medana. Desa Medana sewaktu-waktu dapat terjadi bencana kenaikan air laut (Air Rob). Dikarenakan Desa Medana hanya memiliki kitinggian sekitar 50 meter di atas permukaan laut. Selain itu Desa Medana rentan terhadap berbagai bencana alam, baik yang berasal dari pegunungan maupun dari laut. Sehingga, masyarakat di desa tersebut diharapkan untuk siap menghadapi potensi bencana alam seperti tanah longsor, angin topan, dan khususnya abrasi pantai. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan informasi mengenai banjir rob dan meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir rob pada masyarakat Desa Medana, Kab. Lombok Utara. Kata kunci: Kabupaten Lombok Utara; Medana; bencana alam; banjir rob Abstract North Lombok Regency is one of the regencies located in the West Nusa Tenggara region. This regency consists of several villages, one of which is Medana Village. Medana Village is at risk of experiencing sea level rise (Tidal Flood) due to its elevation of only about 50 meters above sea level. Additionally, Medana Village is vulnerable to various natural disasters, both from the mountains and the sea. Therefore, the residents of this village are expected to be prepared for potential natural disasters such as landslides, hurricanes, and particularly coastal erosion. Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris dan keterampilan pembuatan konten digital bagi anggota Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Pantai Impos sebagai upaya mendukung promosi pariwisata berbasis masyarakat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 September 2025 di kawasan Pantai Impos, Kota Mataram, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 30 orang berusia 25–45 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan partisipatif (participatory training method) yang menggabungkan penyampaian materi, simulasi percakapan (role play), praktik pembuatan konten digital, dan evaluasi menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert. Materi pelatihan mencakup bahasa Inggris dasar untuk pelayanan wisata dan teknik fotografi serta penulisan caption promosi sederhana. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam menggunakan ungkapan dasar bahasa Inggris untuk melayani wisatawan asing serta meningkatnya keterampilan mereka dalam menghasilkan konten digital yang menarik. Hasil evaluasi juga menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 70% peserta memberikan respons “sangat setuju” terhadap efektivitas kegiatan. Kegiatan ini terbukti berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia pariwisata lokal dan memperkuat semangat kolaborasi antaranggota Pokdarwis. Secara keseluruhan, program ini berhasil mendorong pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir melalui penguasaan bahasa dan literasi digital yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri pariwisata modern. Kata kunci: Pelatihan bahasa Inggris; konten digital; Pokdarwis; promosi pariwisata; Pantai Impos AbstractThis community service activity aimed to enhance the English communication skills and digital content creation abilities of the members of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) at Impos Beach as part of efforts to strengthen community-based tourism promotion. The activity was conducted on September 20, 2025, at Impos Beach, Mataram City, involving 30 participants aged 25–45 years. The program adopted a participatory training method that combined lectures, role-play simulations, hands-on digital content practice, and evaluation using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The training materials covered basic English for tourism services and simple techniques in photography and caption writing for social media promotion. The results indicated significant improvement in participants’ ability to use basic English expressions to communicate with foreign visitors, as well as in their skills to produce appealing digital promotional content. The evaluation showed that over 70% of participants strongly agreed that the activity was effective and relevant to their needs. This community service successfully contributed to strengthening local tourism human resources, fostering collaboration among Pokdarwis members, and promoting community empowerment through language proficiency and digital literacy aligned with the needs of modern tourism development. Keywords: English training; digital content; Pokdarwis; tourism promotion; Impos Beach
