Abstract

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bentuk-bentuk eufemisme yang terdapat dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia SMP/MTS Kelas VIII. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa bentuk kata, frasa, dan klausa yang berbentuk eufemisme. Sedangkan sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari dua buku teks yang berbeda, yaitu: buku teks Bahasa Indonesia SMP/MTs kelas VIII edisi revisi tahun 2017 dan Buku teks Bahasa Indonesia SMP/MTs Kelas VIII tahun 2021.  Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah human instrument. Selanjutnya, teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data model interaktif dengan tahapan analisis data, yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 12 kata yang termasuk ke dalam bentuk eufemisme. Temuan tersebut, dikelompokkan dalam bentuk eufemisme menjadi nomina, kata berimbuhan, kata ulang dan kata majemuk.  Eufemisme bentuk frasa ditemukan 10 gabungan dua kata yang membentuk satu kesatuan makna. Sedangkan Eufemisme bentuk klausa ditemukan 4 kelompok kata yang terdiri dari subjek dan predikat yang membentuk makna yang lebih halus dan dianggap sopan.

Abstract

Etos kerja perempuan memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung produktivitas, efisiensi, dan keberhasilan organisasi. Komitmen perempuan yang displin, tekun dan dedikasi yang ditunjukkan oleh perempuan dalam dunia kerja tidak hanya mencerminkan kualitas individu, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pencapaian tujuan perusahaan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis etos kerja pada karyawan perempuan PT. Pendidikan Ganesha Operation Makassar. Penelitian ini menerapkan penelitian kualitatif melalui strategi studi kasus dengan pendekatan deskriptif agar dapat menggambarkan suatu fakta yang ada melalui proses wawancara mendalam dengan 10 (sepuluh) orang staf pengajar Ganesha Operation. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa ada tiga aspek etos kerja yang dimiliki staf pengajar di Ganesha Operation yakni (1) semangat kerja yakni etos kerja pengajar Ganesha Operation tercermin dari semangat yang ditunjukkan dalam menyelesaikan tugas secara cepat dan efisien untuk menghindari penundaan bahkan dalam menghadapi tantangan. Antusias dalam mengajar juga menjadi cerminan dalam semangat kerja.(2 jujur, bertanggung jawab, kepatuhan yang dimana jujur mencerminkan keberanian untuk melapor kepada atasan saat melakukan kesalahan, tanggung jawab tercermin dari usaha pengajar dalam memastikan siswa memahami materi dengan baik, serta kepatuhan yakni tampak pada pengajar yang sangat mengikuti aturan kerja di Ganesha Operation yakni membuat sketsa mengajar, mendokumentasi sebagai bukti dan merealisasikan jadwal mengajar. (3) Rasa cinta terhadap pekerjaan yakni dipengaruhi oleh minat pengajar dan antusias dalam melihat perkembangan siswa dalam belajar..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran film strip terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dalam menulis cerpen siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan desain praeksperimental dengan tipe satu grup pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Makassar, untuk sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kelas IX.2 yang berjumlah 35 orang siswa. Data hasil penelitian yang diberikan melalui pretest dan posttest menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 56,8 dan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 78,0. Kemudian teknik analisis data yaitu dengan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan program IBM SPSS Versi 23. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistika inferensial diperoleh perbandingan nilai t hitung dan t tabel adalah 29,499 > 1,691. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa penggunaan media film strip berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dalam menulis cerpen siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Makassar. Kata kunci: Film strip, berpikir kreatif, menulis cerpen.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the problematic reading literacy culture of SMPN 1 South Bontonompo students. The method used in this research is the field research method. This research utilizes qualitative data obtained from interviews with students. The data analysis technique in this research is Miles and Huberman's qualitative data analysis with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion and verification. The results of this study show that the problematic of literacy culture in the family environment is divided into 3 indicators, namely: Parents' education and economy are supporting and inhibiting factors. Reading material is one of the things needed in reading activities. Meanwhile, the problems of literacy culture in the school environment are divided into 4 indicators, namely infrastructure, reading materials, the role of teachers, and school policies.

Abstract

The ability to conduct item analysis is one of the essential competencies that prospective teachers must have in the context of learning evaluation. However, in reality, many prospective teachers do not have adequate understanding and skills in analyzing the quality of questions quantitatively, especially in measuring the level of difficulty and the index of distinguishing power. This community service activity aims to improve the competence of prospective student teachers through practice-based item analysis training. The method used in this activity is structured training which includes providing conceptual material, practicing manual and digital calculations using Microsoft Excel, discussions, and pretest and posttest evaluations. The results of the training showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the concept of item analysis and their ability to apply it technically. In addition, participants showed high enthusiasm and stated that the training was very relevant to their needs as future educators. This activity makes an important contribution in preparing students to face professional challenges as teachers who are able to design and evaluate assessments objectively and with quality.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education demands teachers' readiness to utilize technology, including digital learning accounts such as belajar.id provided by the government. However, the reality in the field shows that many teachers in rural areas have not optimized these accounts due to limited digital literacy. This service activity aims to improve the competence of SD Negeri No. 28 Inpres Luaor teachers in activating and optimally utilizing learning accounts. The method used includes identification of partner needs, activity planning, training implementation, and evaluation and follow-up. The results showed that all participants were able to activate their learning.id accounts and understand the basic functions of Google Workspace for Education services. This training made the majority of participants able to apply the services contained in the belajar.id account. The training also succeeded in increasing teachers' confidence in using technology and triggering continuous learning initiatives through teacher learning groups. Using a contextual and participatory approach, the training proved effective in empowering teachers in rural school settings to adopt learning technology more actively and sustainably.

Abstract

Artikel ilmiah adalah karya ilmiah tulis yang disusun berdasarkan kaidah ilmiah dan biasanya dimuat dalam jurnal atau publikasi akademik. PKM bimbingan teknis penulisan karya tulis ilmiah mahasiswa Prodi PPG UNM Bidang Studi Bahasa Indonesia bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam menulis artikel ilmiah  dan pengetahuan mahasiswa terikait tata cara submit artikel ke jurnal nasional melalui sistem Open Journal System (OJS). Kegiatan dilaksaksanakan dimulai dari perencanaan dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan dan diakhiri dengan evaluasi. Hasil pelaksanaan kegian menunjukkan  hasil yang positif. Peserta mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan menulis dan melakukan publikasi artikel ilmiah. Pelatihan yang diberikan mencakup pemahaman dasar mengenai struktur dan teknik penulisan yang efektif, serta langkah-langkah penting dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah. Praktik dan pendampingan langsung menulis artikel ilmiah, berhasil mendorong partisipasi aktif mahasiswa. Sehingga mereka dapat menerapkan pengetahuan yang diperoleh dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah dan submit artikel ke jurnal nasional melalui sistem Open Journal System (OJS).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of vocabulary mastery on critical reading skills. The relationship between vocabulary mastery as a predictor and critical reading skills as a criterion was investigated in this study using correlational methodology. The research sample consisted of 30 fourth-semester students in the academic year 2024/2025 who were enrolled in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Makassar State University. Data collection was carried out using vocabulary mastery instruments and critical reading tests. The research data were analyzed using SPSS version 30 with descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The results showed that vocabulary mastery had a significant influence on students' critical reading skills. The ability to interpret reading texts is strongly influenced by vocabulary understanding, which serves as a tool for readers to understand the meaning of words in improving the ability to analyze and infer reading texts. In addition, good vocabulary mastery supports readers in evaluating the text and understanding the implied meaning, which is essential in the critical reading process. The results of this study confirm the importance of vocabulary mastery in reading learning, especially in terms of improving critical reading skills.

This study aims to describe the application of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in learning to write short story text for seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Makassar. The research method used is classroom action research. The implementation of this research uses two or more cycles, where each cycle has four stages, including planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The population in this study included the total number of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Makassar, namely 288 students. Determination of the number of samples was carried out using the purposive sampling method. The chosen sample comprises 32 students from class VII.1. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of learning to write short story texts using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model showed a significant increase. This is known after the results of the short story text writing test in cycle I; only four students obtained a score ≥ 80. While in cycle II, there were only 7 students who obtained < 80 out of 32 students. So that the improvement in students' ability to write short story texts using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model is categorized as successful based on the level of student completeness in cycle II, which reached 78%. Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in learning can facilitate students in writing short story texts.
