Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan duduk anak dengan Gangguan Spektrum Autisme (GSA) melalui media mozaik kertas, dimana anak hanya mampu duduk dalm waktu 1-4 menit. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Single subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B. subjek yang terlibat penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik dengan Gangguan Spektrum Autisme di kelas IV SLB YPPC Painan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung dan pencatatan durasi. Kemudian dianalisis secara visual dan memindahkannya dalam bentuk grafik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 11 kali pertemuan dengan baseline (A) sebanyak 4 pertemuan dan intervensi (B) 7 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam kondisi awal (A) dengan hasil 1 menit, 2 menit, 4 menit dan 4 menit, setelah itu kondisi intervensi dengan durasi  6 menit, 7 menit, 8 menit, 8 menit, 9 menit, 9 menit dan 9 menit. Hasil data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa media mozaik kertas dapat meningkatkan ketahanan duduk bagi anak gangguan spektrum autisme dengan peningkatan 5 menit dari baseline pada pertemuan terakhir 4 menit dan intervensi yaitu 9 menit. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan media mozaik kertas sebagai salah satu media intervensi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan ketahanan duduk bagi anak GSA.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the numeracy ability of mildly impaired students at SLB Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping through the modification of bowling games. This study uses a quantitative research type through an experimental approach in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR) and applies an A-B-A design. There are two variables in this study, namely the modification of bowling games as an independent variable and the ability to count as a bound variable. The subject of this study was a mentally retarded student with the initials D, male in class IV-C SLB Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping who was not yet able to count numbers up to 20 even though he was already in class IV. To overcome this problem, the researcher aims to improve the ability to count in students by continuing the ability of students who were previously only able to count 1 to 10 continued by counting 11 to 15 through modification of the bowling game. The results of the study showed the percentage of results in the Baseline condition (A1) with a percentage of 33%, 33%, 33%, 33%. Intervention Condition (B) with percentages of 40%, 40%, 67%, 73%, 87%, 93%, 93%, 93%. For Baseline condition (A2) with percentages of 87%, 93%, 93%, 93%. The final data that has been analyzed will be in the form of percentages and visual graphs, and it can be concluded that bowling game modification can improve the ability to count numbers in mentally retarded children

Abstract

Anak dengan disabilitas intelektual ringan sering mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep matematika yang bersifat abstrak, khususnya kemampuan mengenal dan membilang bilangan, akibat keterbatasan kognitif dan rendahnya motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penerapan aplikasi MARBEL (Mari Belajar) dalam pembelajaran matematika serta menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan mengenal dan membilang bilangan 1–10 pada anak disabilitas intelektual ringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, melibatkan satu orang guru kelas dan tiga peserta didik kelas II dengan karakteristik disabilitas intelektual ringan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif menggunakan persentase pencapaian hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan mengenal dan membilang bilangan secara bertahap pada setiap siklus, hingga seluruh peserta didik mencapai Kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP) ≥70 pada akhir siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi MARBEL yang bersifat visual, auditori, dan interaktif efektif membantu anak disabilitas intelektual ringan memahami konsep bilangan secara lebih konkret. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan media pembelajaran digital berbasis aplikasi yang dikombinasikan dengan media konkret untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran matematika di pendidikan khusus.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika bagi siswa disabilitas intelektual menuntut pendekatan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik kognitif, khususnya dalam memahami konsep dasar bilangan. Namun, praktik pembelajaran di sekolah luar biasa masih cenderung berpusat pada guru dan belum sepenuhnya memfasilitasi proses konstruksi pengetahuan secara bertahap dan bermakna. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya pemetaan kebutuhan belajar yang komprehensif sebagai dasar pengembangan media pembelajaran yang adaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan belajar siswa disabilitas intelektual dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi mengenal lambang bilangan 1–10 sebagai landasan pengembangan e-modul berbasis teori konstruktivisme. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D, namun dibatasi pada tahap Define (analisis kebutuhan). Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek seorang guru matematika dan tiga siswa disabilitas intelektual ringan Fase A di salah satu SLB di Kota Bukittinggi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara terstruktur, dan studi dokumen, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika masih didominasi metode konvensional dengan keterbatasan media visual dan interaktif. Siswa mengalami kesulitan mengenali lambang bilangan akibat kurangnya penyajian materi yang konkret, bertahap, dan berulang. Analisis kebutuhan mengindikasikan perlunya media pembelajaran berbentuk e-modul yang menyajikan visual konkret, latihan bertingkat, serta umpan balik langsung untuk mendukung konstruksi pengetahuan siswa. Penelitian ini terbatas pada tahap analisis kebutuhan dan jumlah subjek yang terbatas, sehingga belum mengkaji efektivitas media secara empiris. Hasil penelitian menjadi dasar perancangan e-modul matematika berbasis konstruktivisme yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar siswa disabilitas intelektual. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa pemetaan kebutuhan belajar yang spesifik dan kontekstual sebagai fondasi pengembangan media digital matematika bagi siswa disabilitas intelektual.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low ability of sixth-grade students with intellectual disabilities to button their clothes independently, as evidenced by their difficulty in adjusting the position of the buttons and buttonholes, thus still requiring assistance from others. This study aims to improve the ability to button clothes through the application of modelling techniques in sixth-grade students with intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri Binjai. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The research subjects were two sixth-grade students with intellectual disabilities. The research was conducted in two cycles with collaboration between the researcher and the teacher, where each cycle consisted of four meetings. Data collection techniques were carried out through performance tests and observations. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods and presented in tables and graphs. The results showed that the application of modelling techniques was able to improve the ability to fasten buttons in both subjects. In cycle I, the abilities of both subjects improved compared to the initial conditions, but one subject did not yet meet the minimum completion criteria. In cycle II, both subjects achieved a minimum mastery level of 75, with scores of 77 and 76 respectively. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the modelling technique is effective in improving the ability to button up clothes in sixth grade students with intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri Binjai.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using dressform media in improving the buttoning skills of fifth-grade students with intellectual disabilities. This media provides children with opportunities to practice repeatedly without pressure, thereby enhancing focus, learning motivation, and self-confidence. This study employed an experimental method using a Single Subject Research (SSR) design with an A–B pattern. The research subject was one female student with a moderate intellectual disability. Data were collected through observation, interviews, buttoning skill tests, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed using visual analysis within and between conditions, including trend direction, data stability, level changes, and data overlap. The results showed that the subject’s buttoning ability during the baseline phase was in a very low and stable category. After the intervention using dressform media, the buttoning ability showed a significant improvement with an increasing and stable data trend. In the second baseline phase, the subject’s ability was maintained at a high level without intervention. Therefore, it can be concluded that dressform media is effective in improving buttoning skills in children with intellectual disabilities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation process of the Montessori sensorial method for improving pre-writing skills of students with mild intellectual disabilities in Grade III at SLB Negeri Simalungun. The study used a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were two students with mild intellectual disabilities. Data were collected through observation, prewriting skill tests, and documentation, and were analyzed qualitatively to describe the learning process and quantitatively to identify improvements in pre-writing skills across cycles. The findings indicate a gradual and significant improvement in students’ pre-writing skills from the initial condition to the end of Cycle II, as reflected in enhanced abilities to trace lines, thicken and imitate simple patterns, and demonstrate better fine motor coordination. In addition, students showed increased active engagement, focus, and self-confidence during the learning process. The novelty of this study lies in the specific application of the Montessori sensorial method utilizing kinetic sand as a tactile sensory medium in pre-writing instruction for students with mild intellectual disabilities in a special school context, contributing both theoretically and practically to the development of adaptive learning approaches in special education.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of problems in children with mild mental retardation in grade IV / C at SLB YPAC West Sumatra, who had difficulty reading at the beginning. Children have difficulty arranging letters into syllables where the child is unable to read the KV pattern syllables (consonant-vowels). Based on the above problems, this study aims to prove that kokami media is able to improve the ability to read beginning, namely reading KV patterned syllables for children with mild mental retardation. The design used in this study is the A-B-A design with the single subject reaserch (SSR) method and the target behavior, namely stringing letters into syllables by reading syllables with a KV pattern (consonant-vowel). The results of this study indicate that the kokami media is able to improve the ability to read early on in children with mild mental retardation. In the inter-condition analysis, the number of variables analyzed with the results of the analysis tends to be stability at conditions A1 0%, B + 12.5% and A2 + 100%. The percentage of overlap at baseline conditions (A1) with intervention conditions was 0% and at baseline conditions after intervention (A2) with intervention conditions was 38%. The 100% figure proves that the hypothesis is accepted and the kokami media can improve the ability to read beginning (reading KV patterned syllables).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems found in class VII SLB Amal Bhakti Warga Selayo Kab Solok, in one practice room there are two mentally retarded students who are not yet skilled in making skills from used goods. Previously, the children had learned skills from used goods such as tissue boxes, dowry boxes, and flowers but were not successful in the process, therefore this research was conducted using used newspaper items through the demonstration method. This research will be carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of from: planning, implementing actions, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques used were observation, documentation, and action tests. Based on the results obtained by students using two cycles, namely the EA value in the action cycle I was 73%, and in cycle II obtained a value of 95%, while SI students obtained a value in cycle I which was 59%, and in cycle II obtained a value of 91 %. Based on the data above, the conclusion of the skill of making flower vases from used newpaper has increased significantly through the demonstration method.

Abstract

Tujuan dari Program  Kemitraan Masyarakat dari dosen PLB  Universitas Negeri Padang adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan terapi Applied Behavior Analysis  dalam rangka meningkatkan kompetensi guru untuk melaksanakan berbagai macam terapi pada anak Autis. Metode ini merupakan salah satu metode yang dipakai untuk merubah prilaku anak menjad lebih baik. Melalui pelatihan ini guru mampu meningkatkan kompetensi dan  guru menjadi lebih profesional dalam memberikan terapi  dan memberikan pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan karakteristik anak autis.   Diharapkan guru-guru melalui pelatihan ini menguasai cara pelaksanaan terapi yang tepat sesuai kebutuhan anak autis agar mereka dapat melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi sehingga mereka mampu hidup mandiri dikemudian hari. Metode dalam penyelenggaran PKM ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab, metode demonstrasi, metoda latihan  dan praktek dan penugasan untuk melakukan terapi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama dua hari dengan jumlah guru sebanyak sepuluh orang. Untuk mengetahui pencapaian sasaran dilakukan evaluasi pada tahap pretest dan posttest. Uji rangking bertanda wilcoxon ( Wilcoxon Sin Rang Test ) antara pretest dan postest menunjukkan bahwa nilai yang dihasilkan Z hitung = -2.810 ᵇ dengan probabilitas Asymp Sig (2-tailed) = 005 nilai probabilitas yang diperoleh melalui uji analisis kemudian dibandingkan dengan probabilitas yang telah ditetapkan α =0.05, sehingga probabilitas Z hitung kurang dari probabilitas yang ditetapkan (.005<0.05 ). Jadi  nilai probabilitas Z hitung dari uji ranking bertanda wilcoxon lebih kecil dari pada nilai probabiilitas yang ditetapkan 5% ( = 0.0 5), dan dari hasil analisis deskriptif di peroleh rata-rata pre test 63,9 dan postest 71,1  Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa pelatihan yan g diikuti oleh guru untuk  melakukan terapi pada anak autis berpengaruh secara signifikan, artinya pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan terapi dan memberikan pelayanan pendidikan pada anak autis.
