Abstract

Students who learn English are said to be successful if they can use the language to communicate. Therefore, students are expected to be able to communicate using English fluently. However, in reality students rarely use English even in speaking class. The aim of this study was to describe students’ motivation in English speaking learning using E-Module. This research was quantitative descriptive method. The samples were 44 students who were determined by using total sampling technique. The research instrument used in the research for collecting the data was a questionnaire. There were 50 statements in the questionnaire, then the score categorized into three categories such as low, medium, and high. The results of the analysis showed that there were 9 students or 20% categorized as low, 30 students or 68% students were categorized as medium, and 5 students or 12% students were categorized as high. It can be concluded that students’ motivation in English speaking learning using E-Module was medium

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure, leverage, and asset management efficiency on the profitability of energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2023-2024. A quantitative approach was employed, using panel data analysis on a sample of 50 financial reports. The findings revealed that while ESG disclosure does not have a significant direct impact on Return on Equity (ROE), and leverage has a significant negative impact on the ROE, total asset turnover (TATO) does significantly and positively influence ROE. This suggests that asset management efficiency is the primary driver of profitability in the Indonesian energy sector, while ESG practices and leverage strategies require further development to demonstrate a tangible impact on financial performance.

Abstract

Nutrition is said to be balanced when the food consumed contains nutrients of the kind and quantity (portions) according to need. However, it is proven that as many as 83.64% of school-age children in Indonesia are still under-consuming vegetables. Still a lot of kids have picky-eater behavior especially in vegetable consumption. This picky-eater behavior has been targeted for intervention in A, a 10-year-old boy. Based on preliminary studies, A doesn't like to eat vegetables except salad vegetables. This single-subject study aims to look at the effectiveness of applying shaping and reinforcement techniques in increasing the frequency of vegetable intake in children suffering from picky eater.

Abstract

The milkfish pindang business in Junok Village, Sreseh District, Sampang Regency, is a leading business that is highly sought after by the local community. However, this business has not yet developed optimally and is still limited to the area. Therefore, efforts are needed to optimize village downstreaming and access to Islamic microfinance to support milkfish pindang production so that it can expand further and provide a greater economic impact for the community. This study aims to analyze the role of the village government in optimizing both of these aspects and contributing to sustainable local economic development. The research method used was qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and observation. The results show that the Junok village government has undertaken various efforts to optimize village downstreaming, including milkfish cultivation training, setting harvest schedules, and also plans to facilitate financing from Islamic microfinance institutions (LKMS). Despite several obstacles, such as a lack of financial knowledge among farmers and limited equipment, the village government continues to strive to address these issues through mentoring and education. Overall, the efforts made have been quite optimal and have the potential to support the development of the milkfish pindang business in the future.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the role of Al-Falah mosque youth in making the mosque prosperous (case study of Al-Falah mosque youth management) and to determine the role of Al-Falah mosque youth in making the mosque prosperous. Even though the management of this mosque is not fully managed by the mosque's youth, there are still many teenagers who are involved in congregational prayers because the chairman of the mosque's youth requires each member of the mosque's youth to attend congregational prayers for at least 3 prayer times, but if anyone is unable to do so Congregational prayer can be condoned for certain reasons. There are also many routine activities carried out by mosque youth such as weekly Koran reading, sports activities and other activities. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely an interview method that describes events according to actual circumstances. As a result of this research, we found that they were quite good at implementing activity programs, and they played an active role in caring for the mosque's environment. The role of mosque teenagers in the prosperity of the Al-Falah mosque is quite good in the involvement of teenagers in the management of activities carried out by the mosque.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to provide understanding to MSMEs about the importance of ethics in doing business. The educational activities carried out are expected to be able to increase the knowledge of the training participants regarding the importance of ethics in doing business and get to know the basic concepts of entrepreneurship, recognize, find and choose business opportunities, and start a business, and have a creative economy entrepreneurial spirit. The implementation method used is the delivery of material in the form of leaflets or brochures and a question and answer session between the training participants and the person in charge of the training. The material provided includes discussion of: a.) Application of Ethics in doing business for MSME actors, b.) Benefits of Ethics in doing business for MSME actors, c.) Purpose of Ethics in doing business for MSME actors, d.) Application of Ethical Principles in doing business for MSME actors MSMEs.

Abstract

A collaborative approach in educational management in elementary schools is an important key to developing teacher professionalism. This article examines the implementation of a collaborative approach at SDN 2 Lendang Kunyit in improving the quality of teaching. Through qualitative methods with case studies, data was obtained from interviews with school principals and teachers as well as observations of collaborative activities. The research results show that group discussions, collaborative supervision, joint training, and professional learning communities (KKG) are effective in improving teachers' pedagogical and managerial competencies. Collaboration between teachers and principals in reflection-based supervision strengthens learning innovation and joint problem solving. Although challenges such as time constraints and resistance to change were encountered, this approach was able to overcome them through good time management and active support from the principal. Other positive impacts include increased student motivation and learning outcomes, indicating that collaboration at the teacher level can directly influence the quality of learning. Overall, implementing a collaborative approach at SDN 2 Lendang Kunyit can be an effective model for improving teacher professionalism and the quality of education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Keterampilan menyimak anak sangat memengaruhi perkembangan lainnya khususnya tahapan perkembangan berbahasa anak dikarena perkembangan bahasa anak dimulai dari tahapan menyimak/mendengar terlebih dahulu hingga anak dapat berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Keterampilan menyimak merupakan kemampuan yang dimiliki setiap seseorang baik yang diperoleh dengan sengaja maupun tidak disengaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengembangan Keterampilan Menyimak Pada Siswa di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak siswa di sekolah dasar, mengukur hasil implementasi strategi pengembangan keterampilan menyimak, baik dari aspek pemahaman mater, konsentrasi maupun kemampuan siswa dalam menyampaikan kembali informasi yang didengar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian library research. Library research yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dapat berupa buku, artikel dan jurnal. Dalam penelitian ini siswa mengembangkan keterampilan menyimak mereka melalui metode bercerita, mendengarkan radio, kaset audio, televisi, video dan computer. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa telah didapat beberapa artikel yang berasal dari jurnal nasional yang sesuai dengan pembahasan pengembangan keterampilan menyimak pada siswa di sekolah dasar yang kemudian diteliti dan dijadikan pembahasan pada artikel ini. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menyimak dalam metode bercerita, mendengarkan radio, kaset audio, televisi, video, dan computer, sesuai dengan usia dan tahapan perkembangan anak dapat mengembangkan keterampilan menyimak anak secara maksimal. Pengembangan keterampilan menyimak anak dipengaruhi juga oleh faktor pendukung yaitu kerjasama dengan orangtua, dan pendidik.
