Abstract

Background: The development of internet technology, including in Indonesia, is very rapid. One of the fastest-growing internet technologies is online gaming. Basically, students playing online games are only limited to entertainment for relieving tired after daily learning activities. Playing online games with high intensity can cause addiction or dependency continuously which will later influence the level of student concentration of learning. Purposes Knowing the relationship between the intensity of playing online games and learning motivation with learning achievement in the Students of the Faculty of General Medicine, University of Malahayati Force 2018. Methodology: The design of this study used an observational analytic approach with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling method and obtained a total sample of 118 people. Data analysis uses Spearman's correlation test. Result Spearman correlation bivariate statistical test results obtained each value of p-value = 0,000 in the intensity of playing online games and p-value = 0,000 in learning motivation. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the intensity of playing online games and learning motivation with learning achievement in the Students of the Faculty of General Medicine, University of Malahayati Force 2018

Abstract

Learning Achievement can be influenced by external and internal factors. The phenomenon of sleep deprivation and emotional stability fluctuations in medical students at Malahayati University has an impact on the quality of student lectures, so the Grade Point Average values cannot reach optimal values. So this is the concern of researchers to find out whether the relationship between these two factors affects the value of the student Grade. The research aims to determine the relationship between sleep quality and emotional stability with student achievement in the faculty of medicine Malahayati University Generation of 2018. The Respondents This research were students of the medical faculty of Malahayati University Generation 2018, a total of 168 students. The Sample is 118 students that use a purposive sampling technique. The questionnaire was used as a sleep quality questionnaire, emotional stability, and a second-semester transcript. Correlation test shows the relationship between sleep quality and learning achievement with P-Value 0,013 (<0,05) and emotional stability and learning achievement are 0,017 which means there is the relationship between sleep quality and emotional stability with achievement study.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar adalah gaya belajar. Gaya belajar adalah cara yang konsisten yang dilakukan oleh seseorang dalam menangkap stimulus atau informasi, cara mengingat, berfikir dan memecahkan soal. Prestasi belajar adalah cerminan hasil nilai yang dicapai dari pembelajaran pada akhir program studi. gaya belajar memberi pengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar atau nilai indeks prestasi kumulatif mahasiswa. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara gaya belajar visual, auditory, read/write, dan kinesthetic dengan hasil prestasi belajar pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Umum Universitas Malahayati angkatan 2018.Metode: Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode simple random sampling dan didapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 118 orang . Analisis data menggunakan uji one way ANOVA. Hasil: Nilai rata-rata IPK dari 118 responden mahasiswa angkatan 2018 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Malahayati yaitu 2,90 dengan standar deviasi 0,39. Sebagian besar gaya belajar responden adalah gaya belajar kinesthetic sebanyak 68 orang (57,6%). Ada perbedaan yang bermakna secara statistik antara gaya belajar visual, auditory, read/write, dan kinesthetic terhadap hasil prestasi belajar mahasiswa dengan diperoleh nilai p-value=0,000. Kesimpulan: Ada perbedaan yang bermakna secara statistik antara gaya belajar visual, auditory, read/write, dan kinesthetic dengan hasil prestasi belajar mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Umum Universitas Malahayati Angkatan 2018

Abstract

Background: The use of smartphones by students have positive and negative impacts on the learning process. The ease in obtaining information with smartphones makes students motivated to participate in the learning process in class. Learning achievement is influenced by characteristics that indicate the factors originating from within students, one of which is self-efficacy which refers to self-confidence in the abilities possessed. Methods: The design of this study was observational analytic with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling method and obtained a total sample of 118 people. Data analysis used the Spearman trial test. Research Results: The result of Spearman correlation bivariate statistical test obtained that each p-value = 0.024 in smartphone addiction and p-value = 0,000 in self-efficacy.Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between smartphone addiction and self-efficacy with learning achievement of the students in the Medical Faculty, University of Malahayati, class of 2018

Abstract

Background: Health workers are potentially infected due to their exposure to COVID-19 patients during work shifts, All clinical symptoms that occur due to needle prick trauma both directly and indirectly should be recorded as a KIPI reaction. Goal: Knowing the symptoms of kipi along with related factors experienced by health workers as the forefront in fighting the current coronavirus pandemic. Method: Observational analytics using a cross sectional method approach using a total sampling technique of 155 samples overall. Data retrieval begins in November 2021. This research was conducted at Pertamina Bintang Amin Bandar Lampung Hospital. Chi-square test statistical data using SPSS 25. Result: There is no relationship between demographic status and comorbid diseases with KIPI because of the results of p-value data <0.05. Conclusion: That there is no relationship between demographic status, comorbid status and KIPI in Health Workers.
