Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kelompok pembudidaya ikan bandeng di Kelurahan Lakkang, Kecamatan Tallo, Kota Makassar dalam menerapkan teknologi budidaya dan pemanfaatan pakan mandiri berbasis bahan baku lokal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk penyuluhan dan pelatihan praktis pada tanggal 11 November 2024, dengan partisipasi aktif dari kelompok pembudidaya “Bonto Perak 1” yang beranggotakan 15 orang. Materi yang diberikan mencakup teknik pembuatan pakan mandiri, formulasi nutrisi ikan bandeng, analisis efisiensi ekonomi pakan, dan penerapan prinsip Cara Budidaya Ikan yang Baik (CBIB), khususnya pada aspek penebaran benih. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode demonstrasi dan diskusi partisipatif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta, dengan skor ≥75% dari total nilai evaluasi. Analisis ekonomi menunjukkan bahwa pakan mandiri dapat menekan biaya produksi hingga Rp1.710–Rp6.710 per kilogram dibandingkan pakan komersial. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi budidaya, pendapatan mitra, dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada pakan pabrik, serta mendukung sistem budidaya yang mandiri dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Usaha rumah kos merupakan salah satu bentuk usaha mikro yang tumbuh pesat di daerah Abdesir sebagai respons terhadap meningkatnya kebutuhan tempat tinggal sementara bagi mahasiswa, pekerja, dan pendatang. Meskipun potensial, mayoritas pemilik rumah kos masih belum menerapkan pengelolaan keuangan yang baik dan terstruktur. Minimnya literasi keuangan menyebabkan ketidaktahuan terhadap kondisi riil keuangan usaha, kesulitan dalam membuat laporan, serta kendala dalam pengambilan keputusan usaha yang tepat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pemilik kos dalam menyusun laporan keuangan sederhana. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, praktik langsung menggunakan template berbasis Excel, serta pendampingan pascapelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta mengenai jenis dan fungsi laporan keuangan, serta kemampuan menyusun laporan keuangan dasar seperti arus kas dan laba rugi. Sebanyak 85% peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman, dan 75% mampu mengaplikasikan materi dalam praktik. Respon peserta sangat positif, dan sebagian besar menyatakan komitmen untuk menerapkan pencatatan keuangan secara berkelanjutan. Pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam memberdayakan pelaku usaha mikro agar dapat mengelola usahanya secara lebih profesional dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Terminal kidney disease is used by government agencies such as the Heath Care Financing Administration (HCFA) which is a synonym for advanced stage chronic kidney failure. Hemodialysis action indirectly affects the quality of life of a patient which includes physical health, psychological condition, spirituality, socioeconomic status and family dynamics experiencing anxiety, stress and even depression. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between family support and the quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), undergoing hemodialysis therapy at Undata Hospital Palu. The research design used is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach. The independent variable is family support and the dependent variable is the quality of life. Data analysis using chi square statistical test, significant value 0.05. The results showed that there was a relationship between family support and the quality of life of CKD patients in the hemodialysis unit of RSUD Undata Palu with p value = 0.000. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between family support and the quality of life of CKD patients in the hemodialysis unit of RSUD Undata Palu. It is recommended that nurses can increase the role of nurses in terms of increasing education to patients and their families regarding hemodialysis actions

Abstract

Children who have decreased cognitive function are characterized by decreased learning achievement. This could be due to the lack of fulfillment of nutrition provided by parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and increasing cognitive function of children aged 7-9 years in the working area of the Liu Health Center (Pallimae Village). The research design was cross-sectional. The research subjects were 74 children aged 7-9 years who were selected through purposive sampling method. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire regarding nutritional status and cognitive function improvement. Data were analyzed using Chi square test. The results showed that children aged 7-9 years in the category of fulfilled nutritional status = 39 (52.7%), nutritional status was not fulfilled = 35 (47.2%), while the increase in cognitive function was good = 45 (60.8%) and increase in cognitive function is not good = 29 (39,1%). The results of the hypothesis test showed p = 0.000. Furthermore, it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between nutritional status and increased cognitive function. It is expected that parents maintain their children's diet so that their cognitive function increases.Keywords: child; nutritional status; cognitive function ABSTRAK Anak yang mengalami penurunan fungsi kognitif ditandai dengan prestasi belajar yang menurun. Hal ini bisa disebabkan karena kurangnya pemenuhan gizi yang diberikan oleh orang tua. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah               untuk mengetahui hubungan antra status gizi dengan peningkatan fungsi kognitif anak usia 7-9 tahun di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Liu (Desa Pallimae). Rancangan penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional. Subyek penelitian adalah 74 anak berusia 7-9 tahun yang dipilih melalui metode purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner mengenai status gizi dan peningkatan fungsi kognitif. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan anak usia 7-9 tahun dalam kategori status gizi terpenuhi = 39 (52,7%), status gizi tidak terpenuhi = 35 (47,2%), sedangkan peningkatan fungsi kognitif baik = 45 (60,8%) dan peningkatan fungsi kognitif kurang baik = 29 (39,1%). Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan p = 0,000. Selanjutnya disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan peningkatan fungsi kognitif. Diharapkan orang tua menjaga pola makan anak agar fungsi kognitifnya mengalami peningkatan.Kata kunci: anak; status gizi; fungsi kognitif

The purpose of this study is to explain the Early Islamization Pattern in Southeast Asia: Its Contribution to Global Peace Efforts.  This study uses the Constructive Critical History Method.  This historical science is a new historical science that focuses on problem solving and finding solutions to problems  so that humans as historical actors can enjoy a better life in the present and in the  future. This research  finds that the “Pattern of Islamization of Trade and Civilizational Dialogue”  is the “Early Pattern of Islamization in Southeast Asia.”  This pattern  took place from the end of the 7th century to the beginning of the 16th century.  The agents of Islamization were Islamic traders or Islamic scholars who worked as traders. The weakness of this pattern is that it takes a long time. To achieve good results, this pattern requires the willingness and awareness of both the agents of Islamization and the indigenous population in undergoing the process of Islamization. This pattern does not have a negative impact on innocent Muslims and non-Muslims or those who live elsewhere. This pattern is carried out in a healthy and friendly manner that does not trigger cases of Islamophobia. Conclusion. This research contributes to overcoming the global impasse in addressing the crises, conflicts, wars, and disasters that emerged after COVID-19.

Abstract

The Umrah travel industry in Indonesia, particularly in Makassar, is experiencing rapid growth but faces challenges such as intense competition, fraud issues, and increasing consumer demands for service quality. In this context, customer trust and customer experience are crucial factors in building Umrah pilgrim loyalty. This study aims to analyze the influence of customer trust and customer experience on loyalty through customer satisfaction as a mediating variable among pilgrims at PT Arrafsyah Safari Haramain in Makassar. The research method employed a quantitative approach with survey techniques and data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that customer experience significantly influences pilgrim satisfaction and loyalty, while customer trust has no significant effect on satisfaction but a positive effect on loyalty. Furthermore, satisfaction has been shown to play a significant role as a mediator in the relationship between customer experience and loyalty. These findings emphasize that Umrah travel agencies need to prioritize improving the overall customer experience, while maintaining trust, to build long-term pilgrim loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a comprehensive analysis of competitive strategies for the food and beverage business at Kios La Galigo, with a particular focus on increasing sales turnover amid the growing and intense competition in Makassar City. The research was conducted on the Small and Medium Industry (IKM) of Kios La Galigo, located in Makassar, using a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis approach to identify and formulate alternative strategic options that the company can apply to strengthen its market position. Through the SWOT analysis, the study identified internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats that affect the company’s competitiveness. As a result, seven alternative strategies were developed, offering various approaches that Kios La Galigo could consider to improve its business performance and sustain growth in a challenging market environment. To determine which strategies would be the most effective, the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) was used to prioritize and evaluate the attractiveness of each alternative. Based on this analysis, two main strategies were selected as the most suitable for implementation. The first recommended strategy is to maintain and improve the quality of both products and customer service, which is essential for customer satisfaction and loyalty. The second strategy is to expand partnerships with distributors, aiming to increase market reach and strengthen the company’s distribution network for better operational efficiency.

Abstract

There are still many problems with choosing treatment products that do not match the needs of their skin and skin type. Some people follow what their friends do or what is popular now, and numerous people still try to figure out their skin problems and types without first talking to an expert. Using MS GLOW Makassar as a case study, this research was done based on a needs history. The Naive Bayes method was used to make this system. The goal of designing a skincare selection expert system was to apply and use an expert system so that experts and non-experts could use it to choose skincare based on skin type. Based on 30 costumer data that the system and experts have tested by applying Naive Bayes, the accuracy rate was 100%

Abstract

Universitas Indonesia Timur adalah salah satu perguruan tinggi swata yang ada di Makassar dan mengelolah beberapa fakultas,salah satu fakultas yang ada yaitu Fakultas Ilmu komputer yang mempunyai 2 konsentrasi Seperti halnya Fakultas lain,Fakultas Ilmu Komputer ditempuh dalam delapan semester, mulai dari semester 1 sampai semester 8. Pada akhir semester 4, mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komputer harus memilih salah satu dari 2 konsentrasi yang ada, yaitu jaringan dan rekayasa perangkat lunak ( RPL ). Penentuan dapat/ tidak dapatnya seorang peserta didik masuk ke konsentrasi yang dipilihnya, melalui beberapa pertimbangan serta masukan dari dosen dan penasehat akademik dan keputusan akhir ada pada Ketua Prodi, antara lain: bagaimana dengan nilai konsentrasinya, apakah sudah sesuai standar kompetensi, dari segi keterampilan/ psikomotor, pengetahuan/ kognitif, dan sikap/ afektif. Oleh sebab itu, dikembangkan program aplikasi Perancangan Sistem Penunjang Keputusan Penentuan Konsentrasi Study Bagi Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komputer. Dengan menggunakan Sistem Penunjang Keputusan Penentuan Konsentrasi sttudi yang berbasis komputerisasi dengan menggunakan metode SMART,dapat memudahkan Ketua Prodi untuk mendapatkan data yang diinginkan sehingga dapat menunjang keputusan Ketua Prodi. Dengan adanya aplikasi penunjang keputusan penentuan konsentrasi studi mahasiswa, diharapkan dapat memudahkan ketua prodi dalam memperoleh data penentuan konsentrasi studi mahasiswa secara cepat dan akurat
