Abstract

ABSTRACT Adolescence is a developmental stage characterized by identity exploration, during which individuals are vulnerable to engaging in delinquent behaviors. Parenting style is often identified as an important factor influencing adolescent behavioral outcomes. This study aims to describe the parenting styles applied by parents, the level of adolescent delinquency, and the relationship between the two among students at SMK YPGU Sumedang. This research employed a correlational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 89 students participated as respondents. Data were collected using the Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) and the Adolescent Delinquency Questionnaire adapted from the Finnish Self-Report Delinquency (FSRD). Univariate and bivariate analyses were conducted, with the Chi-Square test applied at a 0.05 significance level. The findings show that the most dominant parenting style was authoritative (62.9%). Most students exhibited low levels of delinquency (94.4%). Bivariate analysis revealed no significant relationship between authoritarian, authoritative, or permissive parenting styles and adolescent delinquency (p = 0.847; p = 0.889; p = 0.990). These results indicate that adolescent delinquency may be influenced more strongly by factors beyond parenting style, such as peer group dynamics or individual characteristics. Further research is recommended to include additional variables to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the determinants of adolescent delinquency. Keywords: Juvenile Delinquency, Parenting Styles, Vocational High School Students.  ABSTRAK Masa remaja merupakan periode pencarian identitas yang rentan terhadap munculnya perilaku kenakalan. Pola asuh orang tua sering disebut sebagai faktor penting dalam pembentukan perilaku tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dan kenakalan remaja pada siswa SMK YPGU Sumedang. Penelitian menggunakan desain analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sebanyak 89 siswa menjadi responden. Instrumen penelitian meliputi Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) dan Kuesioner Kenakalan Remaja yang diadaptasi dari Finnish Self-Report Delinquency (FSRD). Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh yang paling dominan adalah otoritatif (62,9%). Mayoritas siswa berada pada kategori kenakalan rendah (94,4%). Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh otoriter, otoritatif, dan permisif tidak memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan kenakalan remaja (p = 0,847; p = 0,889; p = 0,990). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kenakalan remaja kemungkinan lebih dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar pola asuh, seperti lingkungan pertemanan atau faktor individual. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk memasukkan variabel tambahan agar dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang penyebab kenakalan remaja. Kata Kunci: Kenakalan Remaja, Pola Asuh, Siswa SMK.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Masa transisi Dalam konteks pemilihan perguruan tinggi, stres akademik dapat muncul karena kebingungan memilih jurusan, takut salah pilih, kekhawatiran terhadap hasil seleksi, hingga kekhawatiran terhadap pembiayaan dan adaptasi di lingkungan baru. Stres ini, jika tidak dikelola dengan baik, dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan mental, menurunkan motivasi belajar, serta mengganggu proses pengambilan keputusan yang rasional.ini perlu dikaji dan diberikan cara mengatasinya. Fenomena ini menjadi penting untuk dikaji karena stres akademik yang dialami remaja pada masa penentuan perguruan tinggi dapat berdampak jangka panjang terhadap keberhasilan akademik, kepuasan studi, hingga pilihan karier di masa depan. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai faktor-faktor penyebab stres akademik dalam memilih perguruan tinggi serta upaya penanganannya sangat dibutuhkan, baik oleh siswa, orang tua, maupun lembaga pendidikan.Tujuan PKM  untuk Meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa/siswi  tentang stress akademik,dan cara mengatasinya. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini dengan ceramah , tanya jawab , pretest dan post test , mencakup penyampaian edukasi mengenai stress akademik yang meliputi penyebab, dampak terhadap kesehatan fisik dan mental, serta hubungan antara tekanan akademik, ekspektasi sosial, dan kesejahteraan emosional siswa,membantu dan mendorong siswa lebih peka terhadap gejala stress akademik, mengajarkan strategi manajemen stress yang efektif. Setelah dilaksanakan kegiatan ini  ada peningkatan pengetahuan  dari  siswa /siswi tentang stress akademik, yaitu 30,9 poin , menunjukan kegiatan PKM ini berhasil. Setelah dilakukan Pendidikan Kesehatan jiwa siswa/siswi SMA PGRI memahami tentang stress akademik dan cara mengatasinya.Diharapkan untuk  jangka panjang, program ini  dapat memberikan dampak positif dengan mengurangi  masalah masalah Kesehatan spikologis dan menciptakan generasi yang lebih sehat di masa depan.  Kata Kunci: Mengatasi Stress, Stress, Stress  Akademik.  ABSTRACT Transition period In the context of choosing a university, academic stress can arise due to confusion in choosing a major, fear of making the wrong choice, worries about selection results, and worries about financing and adapting to a new environment. This stress, if not managed well, can affect mental health, reduce motivation to learn, and interfere with rational decision-making processes. This needs to be studied and ways to overcome it. This phenomenon is important to study because the academic stress experienced by teenagers during the college selection period can have a long-term impact on academic success, study satisfaction, and future career choices. Therefore, an in-depth understanding of the factors that cause academic stress in choosing a university and efforts to deal with it is really needed, both by students, parents and educational institutions. The aim of PKM is to increase students' awareness and understanding of academic stress, and how to overcome it. Used in this activity with lectures, questions and answers, pretest and posttest, includes delivering education about academic stress which includes the causes, impact on physical and mental health, as well as the relationship between academic pressure, social expectations and students' emotional well-being, helping and encouraging students to be more sensitive to the symptoms of academic stress, teaching effective stress management strategies. After carrying out this activity, there was an increase in students' knowledge about academic stress, namely 30.9 points, indicating that this PKM activity was successful. After conducting mental health education, PGRI High School students understand academic stress and how to overcome it. It is hoped that in the long term, this program can have a positive impact by reducing psychological health problems and creating a healthier generation in the future.   Keywords: Overcoming Stress, Stress, Academic Stress.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan sampah masih menjadi isu lingkungan yang dihadapi masyarakat Desa Cikedung, Kecamatan Cikedung, Kabupaten Indramayu, khususnya rendahnya kesadaran pengelolaan sampah sejak usia dini. Berdasarkan hasil observasi lapangan, ditemukan kebiasaan membuang sampah sembarangan di lingkungan sekolah dan tingginya penggunaan sampah plastik. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan perlunya upaya edukatif yang terarah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan perilaku peduli lingkungan pada anak-anak sekolah dasar. PKM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang kesadaran siswa sekolah dasar untuk memelihara lingkungan yang sehat serta pengolahan  sampah plastik menjadi barang yang berguna. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan edukatif, partisipatif, dan aplikatif melalui kegiatan sosialisasi pengelolaan sampah, edukasi interaktif berbasis permainan, serta workshop daur ulang botol plastik menjadi tempat pensil. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai jenis-jenis sampah, konsep 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), serta pentingnya pemanfaatan kembali sampah menjadi barang bernilai guna. Antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif siswa selama kegiatan berlangsung menunjukkan bahwa program CERIA efektif sebagai media edukasi lingkungan hidup di tingkat sekolah dasar. Setelah dilakukan edukasi ini ada peningkatan dari hasil pre dan pos-test, yang tadinya 75 % menjadi 80%, memahami cara memelihara lingkungan yang sehat serta bagaimana pengolahan sampah yang baik terutama sampah plastik. Untuk kepala sekolah diharapkan program ini bisa dilanjutkan agar anak anak sekolah dasar dapat meningkatkan kesadaran tentang pentingnya kesehatan lingkungan serta dapat dilakukan setiap jumat bersih. Untuk pengelolaan sampah bisa dilakukan pada kegiatan ekstra kurikuler. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat meneliti tentang inovasi pengelolaan sampah selain sampah plastik. Kata Kunci: Daur Ulang Sampah Plastik, Edukasi, Lingkungan Sehat.  ABSTRACT The issue of waste remains an environmental problem faced by the community of Cikedung Village, Cikedung District, Indramayu Regency, particularly the low awareness of waste management from an early age. Based on field observations, a habit of littering in the school environment and high plastic waste usage were found. These conditions indicate the need for targeted educational efforts to enhance understanding and environmentally conscious behavior among elementary school children. This community service program aims to educate elementary school students about the importance of maintaining a healthy environment and processing plastic waste into useful items. The implementation of this activity uses an educational, participatory, and applicative approach thru waste management socialization activities, interactive education based on games, and workshops on recycling plastic bottles into pencil cases. The results of the activities show an increase in students' understanding of the types of waste, the 3R concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), and the importance of repurposing waste into useful items. The enthusiasm and active participation of the students during the activities indicate that the CERIA program is effective as a medium for environmental education at the elementary school level. After this education was conducted, there was an increase in the pre and post-test results, from 75% to 80%, in understanding how to maintain a healthy environment and how to properly manage waste, especially plastic waste. For the principal, it is hoped that this program can be continued so that elementary school children can increase their awareness of the importance of environmental health and it can be carried out every clean Friday. For waste management, it can be conducted as part of extracurricular activities. For future researchers, they can study innovations in waste management beyond plastic waste. Keywords: Plastic Waste Recycling, Education, Healthy Environment.

Abstract

Schizophrenia can cause negative symptoms such as delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech or behavior, and impaired cognitive abilities. So that many people with schizophrenia get stigma from their families and society. This makes people with schizophrenia experience chronic low self-esteem, that is, they feel they are worthless and do not have any talents or abilities. One of the non-pharmacological therapies to reduce chronic low self-esteem is gratitude therapy. The purpose of writing this case study is to illustrate the giving of gratitude therapy to chronic low self-esteem in schizophrenic patients. This research uses a sample of patients who are being treated at a mental rehabilitation house. The patient in this case study was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and experienced chronic low self-esteem, characterized by patients who are difficult to communicate with and say they are worthless. This study used a case study descriptive method in patients with schizophrenia with chronic low self-esteem. After being given the gratitude therapy intervention for 5 days and interspersed with several interventions, namely yoga and butterfly hugs, the patient seemed to be more cheerful and active. This is evidenced by the patient looking willing and inviting other people to communicate, and starting to be confident to appear in front of others. Gratitude therapy can reduce chronic low self-esteem in schizophrenic patients. Therefore, giving gratitude therapy interventions is recommended for health workers, especially the psychiatric nursing team as a non-pharmacological intervention in reducing chronic low self-esteem in schizophrenic patients. Suggestions for further research, so that you can apply gratitude therapy interventions with more samples and carry out follow-ups in sufficient time. So it is hoped that in the future more and more nurses will use gratitude therapy interventions as evidence-based practice to overcome chronic low self-esteem in patients with mental health problems.
