Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji integrasi antara filsafat pendidikan dan teori pendidikan dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis kontekstual, dengan fokus pada mahasiswa Program Studi PGSD semester 5-A di STKIP Yapis Dompu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes, angket, dan wawancara. Tes tulis dirancang untuk mengukur pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep-konsep mean, modus, dan median berbasis kontekstual yang diajarkan. Tes mencakup soal pilihan ganda dan uraian, dengan fokus pada kemampuan analisis, pemecahan masalah, dan penerapan konsep dalam situasi nyata, ngket ini dirancang untuk mengukur persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan inferensial untuk menguji hubungan antara integrasi filsafat pendidikan dan teori pendidikan dengan hasil belajar matematika mahasiswa. Skala Likert 5 poin digunakan untuk menilai aspek seperti relevansi materi, keterlibatan aktif, dan manfaat pembelajaran terhadap pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan wawancara dilakukan pada dosen dan mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil tes, Rata-rata nilai tes hasil belajar matematika adalah 76, yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki pemahaman yang baik terhadap konsep-konsep matematika yang diajarkan. Sebagian besar mahasiswa memperoleh nilai baik (kategori 70-84), Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika berbasis kontekstual. Rata-rata skor di atas 4 untuk semua aspek. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi filsafat pendidikan yang berfokus pada humanisme, serta teori pendidikan seperti konstruktivisme, berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar matematika mahasiswa. Simpulan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan teori pendidikan yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai filsafat pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di tingkat perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to validate concept understanding instruments on cell material for high school students using Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI). Instrument validation was conducted by five experts from three different universities. The results showed that most of the items had CVR and CVI values that met the established validity criteria, only a few items were declared invalid and needed to be revised or deleted. Furthermore, the results of the reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha obtained a value of 0.913 which indicates that this instrument has excellent reliability. This valid and reliable instrument can be used by biology teachers in high school to measure students' concept understanding of cell material. The use of this instrument is expected to help identify weak areas of student understanding and design more effective learning strategies. This research supports the importance of instrument validation to ensure the accuracy of measurement results and increase teacher and student confidence in the results obtained. Thus, the instrument that has been developed is expected to contribute significantly to improving the quality of biology learning in high school.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest biodiversity in the world. However, this high diversity requires individual awareness and responsibility to maintain and utilize it sustainably. Therefore, biodiversity literacy is an important element, especially for students as prospective future generations who will play a role in natural resource management in the future. This study aims to evaluate the level of biodiversity literacy of students of the Biology study program at the University of Education Mandalika, by assessing six dimensions of biodiversity literacy: Conservation and Importance of Biodiversity (CIB), Ethics and Biodiversity (EB), Sustainability and Biodiversity (SB), Taking Action to Protect Biodiversity (TAPB), Biodiversity and Utility (BU), and Conservation and Importance of Species (CIS).  The method used was quantitative descriptive, involving 50 students as respondents. The instrument used consisted of 27 items that were analyzed using One Way ANOVA to determine the average score and significant differences based on gender and student scores. The results showed that the average score of biodiversity literacy obtained a score of 2.08 with a less significant category (Low Biodiversity Literacy). Most of the indicators are at an average value below 2.50, only a small number of indicators have an average value above 2.50. In the CIB dimension, only 3 indicators have an average value of > 2.50 out of 5 indicators. In the TAPB dimension, only 1 indicator has an average > 2.50. While in other dimensions, the average value < 2.50. In addition, there was no significant difference in student scores based on gender. Thus, student biodiversity literacy still needs to be improved, especially in the aspects of real action and individual responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to validate the SINERGI (Science Process Skills Integration with Local Wisdom and Technology) learning model, which is designed to improve students' Science Process Skills (SPS) through the integration of local wisdom and technology. Validation was carried out by involving five education experts to assess the validity of the content and construct of the model. Content validity covers six main aspects, namely supporting theory, syntax, social system, reaction principle, support system, and model implementation, while construct validity covers seven aspects, including components of the learning model. The validation results show that the SINERGI learning model has a high level of validity with most indicators in the very valid category and reliability above 85% based on the Percentage of the Agreement method. This finding confirms that the SINERGI learning model is feasible to be applied in 21st-century science learning, although minor improvements are needed in the reaction principle aspect.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The use of interactive learning media in the biology learning process at SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja is still not optimal, thereby affecting students' interest in learning. The microorganism material, which covers three chapters, namely viruses, bacteria, and fungi, is one of the biology learning materials that is difficult for students to understand. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a learning medium with a structured learning model. This study aims to develop interactive web-based learning media using Google Sites based on problem-based learning for the topic of microorganisms, as well as to determine the validity and practicality of the learning media. The research conducted is a development study (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model. The validity and practicality of the media were assessed by experts, biology teachers, and students. The research data were analyzed using validity and practicality test formulas. The validation results showed that the Google Sites web had a very high level of validity, with an average percentage of 93% from subject matter experts and 98,5% from media experts. The practicality of the media was also very good, with an average percentage of 93% based on the practicality test by teachers and 87% based on the practicality test by students. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that interactive learning based on problem-based learning (PBL) using Google Sites valid and practical for use in the learning process. ABSTRAK Penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif dalam pada proses pembelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja masih belum optimal, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar peserta didik. Materi mikroorganisme yang meliputi tiga bab yaitu virus, bakteri dan jamur, merupakan salah satu materi dalam pembelajaran biologi yang sulit dipahami oleh siswa. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan suatu media pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran terstruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif web google sites berbasis problem based learning pada materi mikroorganisme, serta untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas dan kepraktisan media pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penilaian validitas dan kepraktisan media melibatkan para ahli, guru biologi, dan peserta didik. Data hasil penelitian selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan rumus uji validitas dan kepraktisan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa web google sites memiliki tingkat validitas sangat tinggi, dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 93% dari ahli materi dan 98,5% dari ahli media. Kepraktisan media juga tergolong sangat baik, dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 93% berdasarkan uji kepraktisan oleh guru dan sebesar 87% berdasarkan uji kepraktisan siswa. Dari data hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif web google sites berbasis problem based learning valid dan praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the Guided Inquiry approach in enhancing critical thinking skills, learning motivation, conceptual understanding, and student learning outcomes in chemistry education. Utilizing the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this research reviews various relevant studies from international and national databases such as Scopus, ERIC, and SINTA, employing focused keywords. The analyzed articles were selected based on inclusion criteria that encompassed topic relevance and the availability of empirical data, resulting in 27 final articles for further analysis. The qualitative analysis results indicate that Guided Inquiry not only improves students' conceptual understanding of chemistry concepts but also strengthens critical thinking skills and learning motivation. Quantitative findings demonstrate a pattern of increased effectiveness across various educational levels, with more significant results observed at the secondary education level compared to higher education. Several factors, such as the role of teacher facilitation and student readiness, were also identified as important influences on the success of this approach. This study recommends the integration of the Guided Inquiry approach into the chemistry education curriculum, accompanied by the development of technology-based modules and continuous training for educators, to maximize the potential for constructive learning.

Abstract

This study systematically examines the integration of constructivist and inquirybased learning (IBL) strategies in chemistry education, emphasizing their transformative potential for enhancing student engagement, conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Utilizing a systematic review methodology, 30 peer reviewed articles from credible databases such as Scopus and Web of Science were analyzed. The findings reveal that gamification, virtual reality (VR), molecular visualization, and guided inquiry significantly improve learning outcomes by contextualizing abstract concepts and fostering active participation. Gamification and VR were particularly effective at the high school and tertiary education levels, respectively, while inquiry based laboratory activities enhanced higher-order thinking skills. The analysis highlights the theoretical alignment of these strategies with constructivist principles and their practical application in modern pedagogy. Despite their benefits, challenges such as resource limitations and insufficient teacher training persist, hindering wider adoption. Addressing these barriers through professional development, resource investment, and innovative curriculum design is essential for maximizing the impact of constructivist and IBL approaches. This study provides actionable recommendations for educators, policymakers, and researchers, advocating for systemic changes to advance chemistry education in diverse learning contexts. By combining theoretical insights with practical applications, this research underscores the importance of active, inquiry driven learning environments for preparing students to excel in STEM fields.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada penerapan teori Jean Piaget dalam pembelajaran IPS. Jean Piaget merupakan pendiri pembelajaran konstruktivis. Jean Piaget memberikan pandangan bahwa pada dasarnya setiap siswa memiliki pengetahuan sebelum mereka diperlakukan dalam proses pembelajaran. Perkembangan kognitif juga mencakup teori perkembangan logika moral. Dimana pembelajaran erat kaitannya dengan sosial, nilai dan moralitas, pembelajaran studi sosial cenderung pada kognisi sosial sehingga mempengaruhi moralitas siswa, dan internalisasi nilai dan moral dalam pembelajaran IPS sangat perlu dipersiapkan dan direncanakan secara berkelanjutan. Semakin tinggi tingkat kognitif, semakin matang elemen komprehensif dan tanggung jawab dari seseorang tersebut, sehingga sikap dan tindakan mereka selalu berdampak pada tanggung jawab terhadap diri mereka sendiri dan lingkungan tempat mereka berada

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan proses sains siswa antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Collaborative Inquiry Problem Based Learning (CIPBL) dan strategi konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experiment dengan non equivalent control group posttest-only design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Umum di MAN Karangasem yang tidak dipilih secara acak. Metode penelitian meliputi tes uraian dan lembar observasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif menggambarkan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dan efektivitas CIPBL, serta menggunakan analisis statistik untuk menguji hipotesis perbedaan keterampilan proses sains antara kedua strategi tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan rata-rata total 87,278 (sangat baik) dan nilai Indeks Efektivitas (IE) 100% dalam kategori sangat baik. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan keterampilan proses sains antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan strategi CIPBL dan strategi konvensional. Hasil uji t yang digunakan adalah asumsi varian homogen, menghasilkan t hitung = -6,452 dengan signifikansi 0,0001 (lebih kecil dari 0,0001). Temuan ini mendukung efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan kolaboratif, serta mendorong penelitian lanjutan. CIPBL bisa menjadi alternatif lebih baik dibanding metode konvensional, meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sains.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun rancang bangun serta menganalisis validitas dan kepraktisan media website materi virus dengan kearifan lokal berseting project based learning pada kelas X SMA. Jenis penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model 4D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate). Setelah media dikembangkan, dilakukan uji validitas oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Uji kepraktisan dilakukan oleh 3 guru biologi dan siswa kelas X.3, yaitu 3 siswa dalam uji perseorangan dan 12 siswa dalam uji kelompok kecil berdasarkan kemampuan akademik tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Lokasi penelitian di SMA Negeri 2 Amlapura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) rancang bangun penelitian pengembangan menghasilkan media website materi virus dengan kearifan lokal berseting project based learning di kelas X SMA, (2) validitas media website materi virus dengan kearifan lokal berseting project based learning di kelas X SMA dari segi media mendapatkan persentase 88,2% dan materi mendapatkan persentase 91,4% (sangat valid), (3) uji kepraktisan guru memperoleh persentase 93,7% (sangat praktis). Kepraktisan siswa tergolong sangat praktis dengan persentase 91,5% pada uji perseorangan, 92,6% pada uji kelompok kecil, dan 90,3% pada uji kelompok besar. Hasil ini menunjukkan media website materi virus dengan kearifan lokal berseting project based learning pada kelas X SMA sangat valid dan sangat praktis untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.
