Abstract

This study aimed to examine the implementation and impact of professional development on the creativity of early childhood educators, focusing on creating an innovative teaching medium known as the Magic Box. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method; the research subjects comprised ten early childhood educators, one resource person, and one training manager. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The Miles and Huberman method was used to analyze the collected data. The research findings reveal a substantial transformation in educators' creativity levels after participating in Magic Box's professional development and training programs. Through a structured and hands-on approach, educators gain practical experience and motivation to infuse creativity into their teaching practices. Educators report increased confidence in generating creative ideas for teaching materials and a shift in their instructional approach to encourage more engaging and interactive learning experiences for children.

Abstract

The self-confidence of young children should be approached wisely. Globalization is not a reason to undermine the noble values of Indonesian culture ingrained in Pancasila. In an increasingly liberal era of globalization, indigenous intellectual values must be nurtured. One of the local cultural products is the folk tale of Kebumen from Lutung Kasarung, Central Java. The aim of this study is to discover information and strengthen the faith of children by narrating the values contained in the folk tale of Lutung Kasarung, as well as to immerse in this ancient story to preserve Indonesian culture from the influence of other foreign cultures. From the research findings on this topic, it can be concluded that when folk tales are read to children, it contributes to enhancing their self-confidence, as the values embedded in each tale can have positive impacts. A child absorbs its essence better when you consider each folk tale individually. As an alternative, this action aims to preserve the heritage of local traditions and culture.

Abstract

Warga belajar paket c membutuhkan pengetahuan secara akademik, selain itu bekal keterampilan yang relevan sangat penting untuk melanjutkan kelangsungan hidupnya agar bisa bekerja sesuai dengan keterampilan yang dimiliki selama mengikuti pendidikan kecakapan hidup (lifeskill) yang ada di PKBM Bhina Swakarya Kecamatan Batujajar, dimana di PKBM ini ada program bernama MODILIR yaitu Modal Bergulir, yang memberi acuan kepada warga belajar paket c untuk beriwirausaha. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mendeskirpsikan membangun jiwa kewirausahaan dalam upaya pendidikan kecakapan hidup melalui modal bergulir kepada warga belajar paket c. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan pengumpulan data dengan cara Observasi dan Wawancara. Adapun yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah satu pengelola, satu tutor dan empat warga belajar PKBM Bhina Swakarya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keberanian untuk berwirausaha terbentuk dari pendidikan kecakapan hidup yang diminati oleh warga belajar paket c, dampak positif bagi warga belajar paket c mengikuti pendidikan kecakapan hidup adalah warga berani mengambil keputusan, menganalisis kesempatan, memanfaatkan potensi sendiri dan lingkungannya serta mempunyai dorongan modal pertama dari program modal bergulir sebagai acuan keberanian untuk berwirausaha.

Abstract

In the digital era, IKIP Siliwangi Cimahi seeks to enhance educational service quality by improving its new student admission process, which has faced issues like limited information, access difficulties, and data errors. This qualitative case study explores the planning, organization, implementation, supervision, impact, strengths, weaknesses, and design of a management information system (SIM) for admissions, using POAC management, SIM, and academic selection theories. Data were collected via observation, interviews, documentation, and FGD, and analyzed through triangulation. Results show that the SIM is well-structured, improves information access and registration efficiency, and is managed and supervised effectively. Benefits include faster, more transparent admissions, though challenges remain with internet access and occasional technical issues. This study contributes to the field of educational management by providing an in-depth analysis of the development and implementation of a well-structured Management Information System (SIM) for new student admissions at IKIP Siliwangi of Bandung at Cimahi.

Abstract

Era digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam kehidupan siswa, baik dalam aspek akademik, sosial, maupun emosional. Kesejahteraan psikologis siswa menjadi tantangan baru akibat tekanan dari media sosial, pembelajaran daring, dan keterbatasan interaksi sosial langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran konselor dalam upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis siswa di tengah dinamika digitalisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap konselor sekolah dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konselor memiliki peran strategis dalam memberikan layanan konseling individual dan kelompok, menyelenggarakan program literasi digital yang sehat, serta menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang suportif secara emosional. Selain itu, konselor juga dituntut untuk meningkatkan kompetensi digital agar dapat menjangkau siswa secara efektif melalui platform daring. Kesimpulannya, konselor sekolah berperan penting sebagai fasilitator kesejahteraan psikologis siswa dengan pendekatan yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the strategies used by Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) principals in Kecamatan Arcamanik, Bandung, to enhance teacher competence for the Independent Curriculum. Utilizing a qualitative approach with case study method, observation and semi-structured interviews were conducted with principals from 10 ECCE institutions, supplemented by the review of relevant documents and institutional records. The data were analyzed thematically, drawing upon current educational research to contextualize the findings within broader educational theory and practice. The findings reveal a diverse range of strategies employed by the principals, including the provision of educational resources, ongoing professional development, collaborative learning, and the utilization of support services and platforms. These strategies vary in their alignment with current educational research, reflecting the unique context of each institution. The study highlights the importance of tailoring teacher development strategies to meet the specific needs and resources available to educational institutions. Implications of this study are significant for both policymakers and practitioners, particularly in Indonesia and similar contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the efforts of the Family Welfare Empowerment Team in increasing the entrepreneurial motivation of Family Welfare Empowerment cadres in Gadobangkong Village, Ngamprah District, West Bandung Regency. The research method uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research instruments used in data collection were observation, interviews, and documentation studies which were analyzed qualitatively. There were 10 (ten) research subjects, consisting of 1 (one) Head of the Family Welfare Empowerment Driving Team and 9 (nine) members of the Family Welfare Empowerment Driving Team. From the results of data analysis, it was found that the efforts made by the Family Welfare Empowerment Driving Team, namely 1) The Family Welfare Empowerment Driving Team provided entrepreneurship training to increase entrepreneurial motivation for Family Welfare Empowerment cadres through training as much as 80% 2) The inhibiting factors of the Family Welfare Empowerment Driving Team to increase entrepreneurial motivation Family Welfare Empowerment cadres, in general, are capital, individual will, inadequate infrastructure and time. 2) The assistance and guidance provided by the Family Welfare Empowerment Driving Team are still low due to time constraints and immature experience. The recommendation in this study is to hold further training with varied materials, which are more interesting, and bring in competent resource persons so that Family Welfare Empowerment cadres are more motivated in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Pentingnya pembelajaran inovatif pada era digital sangatlah besar karena mencerminkan adaptasi terhadap perubahan zaman dan tuntutan kemajuan teknologi. Workshop Pembelajaran Inovatif bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Kecamatan Cidaun, Kabupaten Cianjur. Metode workshop melibatkan penyampaian beragam strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif dan penggunaan teknologi. Hasilnya, para guru mampu mengimplementasikan metode pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan efektif, meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, dan daya serap materi pelajaran. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah adopsi praktik pembelajaran inovatif yang berkelanjutan, memperbaiki kualitas pendidikan di wilayah tersebut.The importance of innovative learning in the digital era is enormous as it reflects adaptation to changing times and the demands of technological advancement. The Innovative Learning Workshop aims to improve the quality of learning in Cidaun Sub-district, Cianjur Regency. The workshop method involves the delivery of various innovative learning strategies and the use of technology. As a result, teachers were able to implement more interesting and effective learning methods, increasing student engagement and subject matter absorption. The implication of this research is the continued adoption of innovative learning practices, improving the quality of education in the region.
