Abstract

The waters of West Sumatra are one of the richest in Indonesia, and they have potential in the fisheries sector. They use various types of fishing gear, one of which is boat bagan. One of the most common fishing tools in fishing ports is the boat bagan in the waters of Carocok Tarusan, West Sumatra. The catches usually caught by boats are anchovies and tuna. The research aims to determine boat bagan composition in Carocok Tarusan Waters, Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra Province. This research was carried out on 20 July – 20 August 2023. The method used in this research was a survey method, with direct observations in the field and conducting interviews with fishermen. The tools used in this research were scales, a logbook, a cellphone camera, a ruler, a fishfinder, and a refractometer. The materials used are catches from bagan boats. The data is then calculated and differentiated between main catch, bycatch, and discard. The results of this research show that the composition of the main catch of boat charts is anchovies (Stolephorus spp) as much as 875 kg (24.7%) and tuna (Euthynnus affinis) 888 kg (25%). At the same time, fish that are bycatch consists of several types of fish, namely, trevally (Selaroides leptolepis) as much as 248 kg (7%), peperek (Aurigequula fasciata) as much as 710 kg (20%), mackerel (Rastrelliger sp) as much as 457 kg (12.9%), squid (Loligo sp) as much as 104 kg (2.93%), and mackerel scad (Decapterus) as much as 267 kg (7.5%), for the discarded catch, namely pufferfish (Tetraodontidae) as much as 0.25 kg (0.01 %). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh model pembelajaran Rotating Trio Exchang terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Geografi Kelas X SMA As-Shofa Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi Eksperimen. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X di SMA As-Shofa Pekanbaru sedangkan objeknya adalah pengaruh model pembelajaran Rotating Trio Exchang terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Geografi Kelas X di SMA As-Shofa Pekanbaru. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X1 dan X2 yang berjumlah 53 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisa data menunjukan skor rata-rata Pre Test yaitu sebesar 58,33 menjadi 78,51 pada nilai Post test. Jika dihitung presentasi yang diperoleh, maka dapat dilihat besar kenaikan adalah 34,59%.. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan model pembelajaran Rotating Trio Exchang terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Geografi Kelas X SMA As-Shofa Pekanbaru. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Rotating Trio Exchang, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

This research aims to see the effect of administering mannanase and cellulase enzymes in the hydrolysis of diets containing palm kernel meal on the protein efficiency ratio in broilers. This research used 200 DOC that were reared for 35 days with a research design in the form of a Completely Randomized Design with 5 treatments and 4 replications, namely P0 = basal ration, P1 = basal ration + 50 ml mannanase enzyme/Kg ration + 50 ml cellulase enzyme/Kg ration, P2 = basal ration + 50 ml mannanase enzyme/Kg ration + 100 ml cellulase enzyme/Kg ration, P3 = basal ration + 100 ml mannanase enzyme/Kg ration + 50 ml cellulase enzyme/Kg ration, P4 = basal ration + 100 ml mannanase enzyme/Kg ration + 100 ml cellulase enzyme/Kg ration. The variables observed in this study were ration consumption, protein consumption, body weight gain, and protein efficiency ratio. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA); if there was a real effect, then continued with the Duncan test. The results showed that giving rations based on palm kernel meal, which was hydrolyzed using cellulase and mannanase enzymes, had a significant effect (P<0.05) on ration consumption, protein consumption, and body weight gain but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the ratio protein efficiency. It was concluded that providing a ration based on palm kernel meal hydrolyzed using mannanase and cellulase can be used in broiler chicken rations

Abstract

The use of AGP in broiler farming is for disease treatment and anti-stress, and AGP is also used to stimulate broiler growth. However, continuous use of AGP has been prohibited because it causes resistance to pathogenic bacteria and causes residue for consumers. Therefore, it is important to find a safe replacement for AGP, which can be done using synbiotics. This study aims to determine the effect of providing synbiotics from probiotic Probio_FM and prebiotic Mannan Oligosaccharide (MOS) in the diet on broiler carcass weight. The design used in this research was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment in this study consisted of P0: Commercial ration + 0% Synbiotic from Probio_FM and MOS, P1: Commercial ration + 0.25 % Synbiotic from Probio_FM and MOS, P2: Cormersil ration + 0.50% Synbiotic from Probio_FM and MOS, P3: Cormersil ration + 0.75% Synbiotic from Probio_FM and MOS, P4: Commercial ration+1% Synbiotic from Probio_FM and MOS. The variables observed in this research were feed consumption, slaughter weight, absolute carcass weight and relative carcass weight. Data were analyzed using variance analysis (ANOVA) with Duncan's advanced test. The results showed that the addition of synbiotics from Probio_FM and MOS had a significant effect (P˂0.05) on feed consumption, slaughter weight and absolute carcass weight but had no significant impact (P˃0.05) on relative carcass weight. It was concluded that administering synbiotics from Probio_FM and MOS at 0.25%, 0.50%, 0.75%, and 1% in the ration could increase broiler chicken carcass weight. The research conclusion of the study was that giving synbiotics from Probio_FM and MOS was more effective at a level of 0.25% -0,5%, which was able to increase broiler carcass weight.

Abstract

Ayam Kampung Unggul merupakan ayam kampung yang memiliki kemampuan dalam menghasilkan daging dan telur dalam jangka waktu yang singkat. Penggunaaan prebiotik Manan Oligosakarida (MOS) dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pengganti antibiotik tersebut karena MOS bersifat alami sehingga jauh lebih aman untuk konsumen. Kelompok tani Teman Abadi di Kelurahan Mudung Laut Kecamatan Pelayangan Kota Jambi memiliki anggota kelompok yang sebahagian besar mata pencahariannya bertani. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian (PPM) adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pemanfaatan prebiotik MOS bagi anggota kelompok tani Teman Abadi dalam pemeliharaan ayam KUB agar produktivitas ternaknya dapat meningkat. Kegiatan PPM ini menggunakan metode Participatory Rural Apraisal (PRA). Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan PPM yaitu tahapan persiapan, assessment kelayakan pelaksanakan dilapangan, perencanaan kegiatan, pelaksanaan atau implementasi kegiatan dan kegiatan Monitoring serta evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan PPM menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak dalam memahami budidaya ayam KUB. Disamping itu, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan anggota kelompok tani  tentang pemanfaatan prebiotic mannan oligosakarida (MOS) sebagai pengganti antibiotic. Kesimpulan kegiatan PPM adalah penyuluhan dan pelatiahn pemeliharaan ayam KUB dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak dalam usaha beternak ayam KUB di kelompok tani Teman Abadi Kelurahan Mudung Laut, Kota Jambi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi hasil tangkapan dengan menggunakan alat tangkap belat di Perairan Kelurahan Tanjung Solok Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada bulan Juni – Juli 2021. Metode yang digunakan selama penelitian adalah metode survei, dengan pengamatan langsung ke lapangan dan melakukan wawancara dengan nelayan dan mencatat komposisi ikan yang tertangkap dengan alat tangkap belat. Metode Pengambilan sampel adalah sensus, terhadap 8 orang nelayan yang menggunakan alat tangkap belat. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan setiap hari selama 10 kali penangkapan. Parameter fisik dan kimia perairan yang diukur meliputi suhu, pH, kedalaman, kecepatan arus, salinitas. Hasil tangkapan belat di Perairan Kelurahan Tanjung Solok yaitu ikan gulama, ikan belanak, ikan sembilang, ikan, udang kapur, udang belang, udang agogo, kepiting belang, belut laut, ikan buntal. Komposisi hasil tangkapan alat tangkap belat berjumlah 80,701 ekor dan berat 3.724 kg. Persentasi tertinggi terdapat pada ikan gulama (Johnius trachycephalus) yaitu dengan nilai 45,32 %, sedangkan persentasi terendah terdapat pada belut (Gymnothorax dorsalis) yaitu 0,04%.

Abstract

One of the largest tributaries in the Batanghari area is the Batang Tebo River which passes through Bungkal Village. Currently, the Batang Tebo River is a place for waste disposal, garbage, oil spills, and even the biggest illegal gold mining (PETI). This resulted in a drastic decrease in fishermen in Batang Tebo waters using gill nets. The purpose of the study was to determine the structure of the fish community in Batang Tebo from the catch when using gill nets. This research was started on April 18, 2022 - May 31, 2022, and is located on the Batang Tebo River, Bungkal Village, Tebo Regency. The researcher thus causes the survey method and random sampling as the data collection. Collection of data from this research activity included the structure of the community caught by fishermen using gill nets. The catch data includes fish size, fish weight, total fish weight, and the fish species. The supporting data collect environmental parameters (temperature, pH, current speed, brightness). The number of fish catches produced during the research activity reached 292, with the composition of the catch consisting of 5 species, namely: Baung Fish (Hemibagrus Menerus), Sand Lambak Fish (Labiobarbus Festivus), Lais Fish (Cryptopterus Sp), Kapiat Fish (Barbonymus schwanenfeldi), Juaro Fish (Pangasius polyuranodon). The highest catch was Baung fish many as 89 fish lowe catch was Juaro fish as many as 17 dominant index was 0.23. Community structure of fish caught by Baung Fish, Flat Lambak Fish, Lais Fish, Kapiat Fish, and Juaro Fish. Community structure of fish caught by Baung Fish, Flat Lambak Fish, Lais Fish, Kapiat Fish, juror fish. With diversity with medium, uniformity with (high), on dominance with (low), there are fish that dominate in the catch and are also supported by environmental parameters in the form of temperature, pH, brightness, and speed of current.

Abstract

Hasil tangkapan ikan peperek (Leiognathus equulus) di Perairan Carocok cukup fluktuatif dikarenakan lokasi yang berbeda-beda akan mempengaruhi kelimpahan dari hasil tangkapan ikan peperek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jarak fishing base dan fishing ground serta melihat hasil kelimpahan dari ikan peperek dari lokasi yang berbeda (distribusi spasial) menggunakan alat tangkap bagan perahu. Metode penelitian ini bersifat survei yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai dengan Agustus 2023 yang berlokasi di UPTD Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai Carocok Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lokasi penangkapan dan suhu perairan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap hasil tangkapandan kelimpahan ikan peperek (Leiognathus equulus). Pada daerah Pamutusan memiliki 20 titik koordinat dengan jumlah hasil tangkapan sebanyak 601 kg ikan peperek. Sedangkan di dekat daerah Pulau Soetan memiliki 8 titik koordinasi dengan jumlah hasil tangkapan sebanyak 228 kg ikan peperek. Jarak terjauh saat melakukan penangkapan ikan peperek (Leiognathus equulus) berada pada angka 12.47 km dengan hasil tangkap sebesar 30 kg dimana jumlah ikan yang diperoleh sebanyak 2.730 ekor. Sedangkan, jarak terdekat berada di angka 3.75 km dengan hasil tangkapan yang diperoleh sebesar 45 kg dan kelimpahan sebanyak 4.140 ekor.

Abstract

Komposisi hasil tangkapan adalah suatu teknik yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi keragaman sumber daya hayati. Komposisi hasil tangkapan adalah istilah yang umumnya digunakan dalam bidang perikanan dan kelautan untuk merujuk kepada proporsi relatif dari berbagai jenis spesies yang tertangkap dalam suatu proses penangkapan ikan atau aktivitas perikanan lainnya. Proses ini mencakup penelitian tentang struktur tangkapan yang melibatkan berbagai jenis ikan, udang, moluska, serta organisme laut lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi hasil tangkapan ikan menggunakan gillnet di Kampung Nelayan Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Peralatan yang digunakan adalah alat tulis, kamera, laptop dan alat tangkap gillnet menggunakan mesh size 2 inci dengan ukuran kapal 1 GT. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terdapat 15 spesies ikan yang tertangkap dari alat tangkap gillnet yaitu ikan duri (Cephalocassis borneensis), ikan lomek (Harpadon nehereus), ikan malung (Muraenesox cinereus), ikan gulamah (Panna microdon), ikan sebelah (Pleuronectiformes), ikan beliak mata (Llisha elongata), ikan senangin (Eleutheronema tetradactylum), ikan bawal (Pampus argenteus), ikan pari (Telatrygon zugei), ikan sembilang(Plotosus canius), ikan langgai (Lepturacanthus savala Cuvier), ikan hiu (Chiloscyllium arabicum), ikan kakap merah (Lutjanus malabaricus), ikan kurau (Eleutheronema tetradactylum), dan ikan pirang (Setipinna tenuifilis). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah jenis ikan hasil tangkapan yang paling banyak tertangkap adalah ikan gulamah (Panna microdon) sebanyak 102,8 kg atau 28,62 % dan yang paling sedikit adalah ikan kakap merah (Lutjanus malabaricus) sebanyak 1 kg atau 0,28 %.
