Abstract

Radio Suara Indah Persada FM is a local radio station in Banyuasin since 2008. The presence of Radio Suara Indah Persada FM as a local radio that is able to maintain the existence of radio and its local language until now is not easy. There are many external and internal factors that affect the existence of Suara Indah Persada FM radio. This makes Radio Suara Indah Persada FM must have strategies in order to continue to maintain its existence, by always maintaining the Banyuasin regional language. Through the Rampai Talang Banyuasin (RTB) program, which received a KPI award as the best cultural Feature category in 2014. This research aims to find out what are the factors that affect the existence of radio and local languages in the Rampai Talang Banyuasin program, and to find out how the strategies carried out by Radio Suara Indah Persada FM in maintaining the existence of local languages through the Rampai Talang Banyuasin program, using Dimmick and Rothenbuhler's media ecology theory, they argue that to maintain its existence, the media needs three main sources of existence, namely capital (advertising revenue), type of content (type of media content) and type of audience (type of target audience). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method and data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documents related to the research. The results showed that the factors that influence the existence of radio and local languages come from supporting factors and internal and external inhibiting factors. Radio Suara Indah Persada FM in maintaining the existence of radio and local languages through the Rampai Talang Banyuasin program, namely: 1) Carry out planning, production and purchase of programs, execution and supervision of the Rampai Talang Banyuasin program. 2) conducting segmentation, targeting, and posiotoning in capturing the audience market on Rampai Talang Banyuasin. 3) Marketing strategy in marketing Rampai Talang Banyuasin program.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled Analysis of the Film Kill The Messenger in the Representation of the Journalistic Code of Ethics (Semiotic Analysis of Ferdinand De Saussure). Kill The Messenger is a film with crime, thriller, biographical genre that released on October 10 2014, directed by Michael Cuesta. This film is set in the United States, when a controversial scandal was revealed involving the United States government in drug trafficking involving rebel groups in Central America. The purpose of this research is to determine the meaning of the journalistic code of ethics in the film Kill The Messenger through signifiers and signifieds, as well as the application of the Press Council's Journalistic Code of Ethics (KEJ) by journalists in the film Kill The Messenger. This research uses a qualitative method with Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic approach. The types of data used are primary and secondary. Data collection uses observation and documentation methods. The results of this research conclude that the semiotic meaning of the journalistic code of ethics can be built through signifiers and signifieds, then researchers found that the Press Council's Code of Journalism Ethics (KEJ) was implemented.

Abstract

This research is entitled "The Meaning of Tempo Magazine Cover "Siasat Pinokio Senayan" October 19-25, 2020 Edition (Charles Sanders Pierce Semiotics Analysis)". Mass media is one of the places to disseminate the latest information and news to the public which is formed due to the process of sending information from one person to another. The number of media that have sprung up, journalists are faced with intense competition to present information that attracts the attention of the public including print media such as magazines that contain stories, pictures, tips and tricks. In this study, to analyze the research approach or method used is a qualitative research method that explains descriptively the meaning of the cover in tempo magazine. In this study, the subject under study is the cover of the October 17-25, 2020 edition of Tempo Magazine with the title "Siasat Pinokio Senayan". This edition raises news about the issue of the Indonesian Parliament which has passed the Omnimbus Law on Job Creation Bill into law. The ratification of the law is considered hasty and polemical both in terms of content and the ratification process. The data used as a reference in this research comes from library materials such as books, documents, and other materials that can be a reference for researchers. The literature is used to support the semiotic analysis of the cover of the October 17-25, 2020 edition of "Siasat Pinokio Senayan" magazine. The types of data sources include literature on semiotics, journal articles related to semiotics and the analysis of signs, relevant Tempo magazine documents, as well as references from libraries, archives and online sources. Semiotics is the approach used to analyze the data, focusing on the use of signs as a tool in exploring the reality of human life. The main concepts in semiotics involve symbols and signs. The first basic concept in semiotics is the sign, which is considered as a trigger and interpreted as a sign of another situation. This can be seen from the technique of making the cover and the classification of icons and objects on the cover which gives a special impression to the readers.

Abstract

Novel merupakansalah satu karya sastra dan dalam karya sastra yang diciptakan oleh pengarang pasti mengandung nilai tertentu yang akan disampaikan kepada pembaca, misalnya nilai moral. Moral adalah salah satu nilai yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan sosial. Pembaca diharapkan dapat menemukan dan mengambil nilai tersebut. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana nilai moral dalam novel Altitude 3159 Miquelii karya Azzura dayana? Dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui nilai moral dalam novel Altude 3159 Miquelii karya Azzura dayana. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (Library reserch) yang bersifat kualitatif deskriptif yang artinya penelitian ini dapat menghasilkan data deskriptif yang berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari individu dan perilaku yang dapat diamati. Sedangkan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan, baca, dan catat. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi (Conten analisys). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat banyak sekali nilai moral yang terkandung pada novel tersebut, berikut ini merupakan rinciannya: Pertama, bentuk nilai moral dalam cakupan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan pada novel yang dikaji berupa Ibadah sholat, berdoa dan bersyukur. Kedua, bentuk nilai moral dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri pada novel yang dikaji berupa pantang menyerah, sadar diri, dan bekerja keras. Ketiga, bentuk nilai moral dalam lingkup hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain dalam lingkup sosial dan lingkungan alam pada novel yang dikaji berupa berjanji, tolong menolong, peduli, meminta maaf, kasih sayang, berbagi, berterima kasih, rela berkorban, saling menasehati, bekerja sama dan memberi semangat.

Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul Representasi Konflik Dalam Film Dokumenter Baradwipa (Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes). Film dokumenter adalah suatu karya film atau video berdasarkan realita serta fakta peristiwa. Film Baradwipa adalah sebuah film yang bergenre dokumenter yang dirilis pada tahun 2021 yang disutradarai oleh Dandy Laksono. Seperti genre film dokumenter yang diproduksi sesuai dengan fakta sesungguhnya dilapangan. Film ini berlatarkan sebuah kontroversial adanya pertambangan batu bara dan polusi udara yang diakibatkan dari pembakaran batu bara untuk bahan baku PLTU. Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Relprelselntasi Konflik dalam Film Dokumelntelr Baradwipa (Analisis Selmiotika Roland Barthels) dan bagaimana makna Delnotasi, Konotasi, dan Mitos dalam film dokumelntelr Baradwipa. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini memiliki tujuan seberapa berpengaruhnya film dokumenter dikalangan masyarakat mengenai lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana Relprelselntasi Konflik dalam Film Dokumelntelr Baradwipa (Analisis Selmiotika Roland Barthels) serta melngeltahui makna Delnotasi, Konotasi, dan Mitos dalam film dokumeltelr Baradwipa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu primer dan sekunder. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Selcara kelselluruhan, film dokumelntelr "Baradwipa" belrhasil melnggambarkan konflik yang telrjadi di Pulau Sumatelra, telrutama telrkait masalah kellistrikan dan dampak nelgatif PLTU telrhadap masyarakat dan lingkungan. Dialog dalam film melmbawa makna delnotatif yang melnginformasikan masalah konkrelt, selpelrti mati listrik melndadak dan konflik delngan PLTU, selmelntara makna konotatif melngungkapkan kelsulitan kelhidupan masyarakat akibat kelbijakan dan aktivitas industri. Sellain itu, muncul mitos telntang kelkurangan pasokan listrik, melskipun data melnunjukkan ovelrsupply. Film ini melnjadi celrminan kondisi komplelks sosial, elkonomi, dan lingkungan, melmicu pelrtanyaan telntang solusi untuk melnjaga kelbelrlanjutan dan kelseljahtelraan masyarakat

Abstract

There are people who think that conveying information or posting news on Facebook social media is too excessive and that many or all things are put on Facebook social media. This gives rise to a bad view of the news itself. Community leaders' Facebook social media accounts were ultimately used as a forum for developing digital literacy and disseminating information for village communities. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of digital literacy and information via social media Facebook of community leaders for the residents of the village of Juruan. This research method is included in quantitative research with a research design using classical assumption test data analysis techniques and multiple linear regression. Based on the results of calculating the correlation coefficient value of the three variables, it reached 0.912 or 91.2%, which proves that the dissemination of digital literacy and information through social media Facebook, community leaders for residents of the Canal village is very effective. From the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of digital literacy and information via social media, Facebook, of community leaders for the residents of the Canal village exceeds 50%, where this value means that there is a very effective effect for the village community. Judging from the results of calculating the correlation coefficient value for the three variables, it reached 0.912 or 91.2%, where this value is included in the very strong category. This proves that the dissemination of digital literacy and information through the social media Facebook of community leaders for the residents of the Canal village is very effective.

Abstract

Ilustrasi pada sampul Majalah Tempo edisi 04-10 Juli 2022 bertajuk “Kantong Bocor Dana Umat” merupakan visualisasi mengenai fenomena sosial terkait penyalahgunaan dana umat yang terjadi pada salah satu lembaga filantropi terbesar di Indonesia, Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT). Kasus ini menjadi perbincangan hangat di kalangan media Indonesia sebab tak sedikit petinggi ACT yang memperoleh fasilitas kendaraan mewah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguliti makna triadik dari sampul Majalah Tempo tersebut berupa ikon, objek, dan interpretan menggunakan metode analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Hasil dari penelitian menguak bahwa sampul Majalah Tempo edisi 04-10 Juli 2022 berjudul “Kantong Bocor Dana Umat” menunjukkan bagaimana sang ilustrator memvisualisasikan fenomena penyalahgunaan dana umat ACT melalui karikatur tentang sekelompok masyarakat yang beramai-ramai menggotong sebuah kendaraan mobil, di mana mobil tersebut ditunggangi oleh seseorang dengan pakaian mencolok dan berbeda dari yang lain.

Abstract

In an era of ever-growing technological advances, social media has become an increasingly important communication platform for society. With the ability to send messages that only require text on the cellphone screen, these messages can be spread quickly to various places according to the wishes of the sender. A study conducted by researchers aimed to explore the analysis of sarcasm in netizen comments on Rohingya news on the Tribun Bogor TikTok account. This research focuses on identifying various forms of sarcasm used in netizen comment columns regarding Rohingya news on these accounts, with in-depth content analysis. Researchers also conducted qualitative analysis of these comments to identify groups of forms of sarcasm that emerged. The results of this research reveal the significant use of sarcastic language in netizen comments regarding Rohingya news on the TikTok account @Tribunbogor. Through focused analysis of sarcasm styles such as propositional, lexical, 'like'-prefixed, and illocutionary sarcasm, researchers succeeded in identifying significant levels of sarcastic language use. From the 23 comment samples analyzed, significant variations in the use of sarcastic style were clearly visible. The two video posts that were the focus of the research, namely "Viral video of Rohingya refugees allegedly protesting" with 1,537 comments, and "Rohingya Refugees Land in North Sumatra, Residents Provide Food" with 429 comments, show that sarcastic language is widely used in both contexts. This research confirms that sarcastic language is an effective tool for conveying negative sentiments, dissatisfaction and criticism of the Rohingya refugee issue. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the dynamics of public opinion andsocial interactions on sensitive issues on social media, especially in the context of humanitarian crises.

Abstract

A Santriwati, of course, does not rule out the opportunity to be able to start a business to maximize the potential of dragon fruit agricultural products. The aim of empowerment is to form a Millennial Santri Business Workshop at the Tanwirut Thullab Islamic Boarding School, encouraging understanding of the potential of dragon fruit, building an entrepreneurial spirit, and the process of making processed dragon fruit products. The situation analysis indicated that problems were found, including: the decline in selling prices at the peak of the dragon fruit harvest, the poverty level of female students when they left the boarding school, and a lack of understanding of the potential of Sambirejo Village. The empowerment participants included 38 female students aged 17 - 18 years and who were about to complete their education. The approach used during the process of implementing this empowerment is an approach that includes: team formation, formulating goals, gathering stakeholders, gathering needs, determining problem priority analysis, preparation, implementation, mentoring, review and evaluation, determining new needs and targets. As a result of empowering Santriwati, they gain understanding and skills to make processed Dragon Fruit Pudding, Jam and Jenang Grendul products as entrepreneurial provisions. The response shown by Santriwati, 72% gave a very positive response and 18% gave a positive response regarding product understanding, entrepreneurial spirit and the product manufacturing process. The series of empowering Santriwati in the Millennial Santri Business Workshop to build an entrepreneurial spirit starts from the stage of selecting ingredients, composition and processing of processed products that have the potential to be produced and sold to consumers.

Abstract

TB control efforts are carried out by implementing the DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment Short-course) strategy which is a short-term treatment with direct supervision. To ensure regularity of treatment, a supervisor of taking medicine (PMO) is needed, namely the family. The team conducted health education activities for 30 families who have TB patients at home in Medan Sunggal District. The method used was direct counselling accompanied by questions and answers with the family. Activities were carried out that aimed to provide directed education to families who have TB patients at home to remember to always take medicine. Feedback from this activity is that families understand and recognize the signs and symptoms of TB due to forgetting to take medicine and the role of supervision in taking medicine is very important in supporting their recovery.
