Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to development a generative learning model with Guided Teaching Technic in Momentum and Impulse for X class of Senior High School which is feasible to measure students physics problem solving abilities. The type of research used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE development model which stands for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In this study, the validation stage was carried out by 3 experienced Physics Education lecturers. The research instrument was a questionnaire in the form of a checklist. This study uses two types of data collected, namely quantitative data obtained from the score of the validator's assessment and student's assessment, while the qualitative data is in the form of criticism and suggestions from the validator of the product being developed and a description of the implementation of the product trial. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis by calculating the index of each indicator used to determine the validity of the learning tools developed. The results of this study provide information that the Generative learning model with Guided Teaching Technic developed in Momentum and Impulse is valid with the development of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) in the high category, the development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) is very high category, and the development of the Knowledge Test Instrument category is very high and can be used in learning to support the teaching and learning process so that it becomes better.Keywords: Development, Generative, Guided Teachung Technic, Momentum and Impulse

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to produce a multi-representation module based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOT) that is valid on straight motion material and can be used in learning. The type of research that will be used is research and development (according to Sugiyono). The object of this research is a multi-representation module based on High Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) on straight motion material. The research instrument used was a validation sheet for developing High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) multirepresentation modules that would be prepared based on standard assessment indicators set by the Ministry of National Education regarding the guidelines for writing modules with some modifications according to the requiredmodule specifications. The steps that will be taken to conduct data analysis in this study are to convert the module validation sheet using a Likert scale in order to obtain quantitative data . The results obtained showed that the aspects of the feasibility of the content, language, graphics and presentation of each module are valid with good and very good categories. Thus it can be concluded that the multi-representation module based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on straight motion material has been valid based on aspects of content worthiness, language, graphics and presentation so that it is appropriate to be used as a learning resource that guides students in understanding straight motion material.Key Words:Multi-Representation Module, High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), Straight Motion.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the application of Think Talk Write Cooperative Type models in thermodynamic material. The study was conducted in eleventh grade of Senior High School 1 Rambatan West Sumatra. This type of research was quasi-experimental with the design of the Posttest Only Nonequivalent Control Group. The data collection technique was un understanding test using a score instrument. The data analysis technique was in the form of descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results obtained by the average score of concept understanding in the experimental class was 80.75 with good categories, while in the control class it was 47.99 in the poor category. Based on the analysis of T-test data was obtained 9,027>1,6575 and 0,00<0,05 so that H0 was rejected. The conclusions of this study are: the application of Think Talk Write type Cooperative learning models is more effective in improving students 'conceptual understanding and there are significant differences in students' conceptual understanding between the experimental class and the control class.Keywords : Cooperative type Think Talk Write, concepts understanding, Laws of Thermodynamics

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze the understanding of the temperature and heat materials concept using TTCI instruments (Thermal and Transport Concept Inventory) based on graphical representation. The method in this study was a survey technique was done through writtenl questions of understanding concept test. The population was all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 GAS and sampled using simple random sampling with the number of samples of 92 students. Data was collected with TTCI instrument equipped with CRI. Data were analyzed descriptively to determine the level of understanding of students' concept of temperature and heat matter. The result shows that the average score of the percentage of the most dominant learners are in the category unknow concept with the percentage of 45.28%, while the percentage of learners who understand the concept is 13.04%, misconception is 27.09%, And guess the answer is 14.56%. This shows that the students' understanding of the temperature and heat materials based on graphic representations is still that is revealed from the understanding of learners is still below 30%.Keyword: conceptual understanding, misconceptions, temperature and heat.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the student's skills in performing laboratory work for a straight motion of matter in senior high school. This research is a descriptive with supporting of quantitative approach while the method for surveying. The sample in this research is class X IPA 1 and class X IPA 2 with a total of 67 students. The selection of the samples was done by purposive sampling method. The data in this study a score of student skills in carrying out laboratory work in a straight motion of matter in high school which is analyzed descriptively, including scoring, metabulation for the average statements contained in the questionnaire, and then categorize it in accordance with the predicate implement practical skill level. Result of this is derived from the aspects of the preparation, execution, and cover. Based on data analysis of skills levels on aspects of the preparation obtained a score of 3.35 with quite good category, on the execution aspect obtained a score of 3.25 with quite well category and cover aspects of 3.49 with quite good category. Therefore, it can concluded that the class X IPA IPA 1 and X IPA 2 in SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru has the skills to implement a practical work in a straight motion of matter which is implemented optimally.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to design and build a educational media of learning physics are valid uses Augmented Reality technology in the kinetic theory of gases for senior high school grade XI. This research was research and Development (R & D) using instructional design type ADDIE includes the step of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluating. Sources of data in this study is the assessment of data provided by the validity of the 6 validator, consisting of three lecturers and three teachers. Aspects assessed include designing, pedagogic, learning content and ease of use. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The final result of media validation assessment of all aspects of learning physics had validity value of 3.55 with a very high category. Based on these results, we can conclude that the media of learning physics using Augmented Reality technology in the kinetic theory of gases for a high school grade XI declared valid categorized as very high, so that used in the process of learning and teaching.Keywords: Education Media, Augmented Reality, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Validation

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aims to describe and differentiate the student formal reasoning through the implementation of learning cycle 7E model for the material dynamic electricity in the class of X SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. Population of this research is all of X classes with 304 students. Meanwhile the samples are 37 students in X3 as experimental class and 37 students in X4 as control class. The instrument of data collection in this study is a formal reasoning performance test which consists of 15 multiple choice items. Analysis of the data in this study was a descriptive analysis that was used to determine the performace of the physic learning through the criteria of absorption and effectiveness of learning. The inferential analysis was used to differentiate a formal reasoning considerably using independent sample t-test using SPSS 20 program. The analysis data shows: the average absorption of the class is 80.16% with the good category, and declared as an effective learning. The value of t tests is p = 0.008 means p < 0.05, then H0 is rejected. Which means that there are differences in formal reasoning test result between students in experiment class that taught using learning cycle 7E and control class that uses conventional learning with a level of 95%. It can therefore be concluded that the implementation of learning cycle 7E can be used as an alternative in the learning process in the classroom X SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Learning cycle 7E, formal reasoning, dinamyc electricity

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran pada materi teori kinetik gas masih cenderung monoton, siswa tidak dilibatkan secara aktif selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Hal ini menyebabkan kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep yang disampaikan pada materi ini. Guru harus mampu merancang kegiatan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada proses, sehingga siswa dapat mengembangkan keterampilan ilmiah yang dimiliki. Dalam hal ini proses pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan inkuiri sesuai untuk melatih siswa agar tercipta sikap aktif, berpikir kritis, mampu memecahkan masalah, sehingga tercapai hasil belajar yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar keterampilan proses siswa melalui penerapan media pembelajaran teori kinetika gas berdasarkan pendekatan inkuiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain One Shoot Case Study. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah tes hasil belajar keterampilan proses pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata daya serap keterampilan proses siswa berada pada kategori baik sebesar 74,95%. Tingkat keterampilan proses menunjukkan 81,25% siswa memiliki keterampilan dasar yang baik, sedangkan keterampilan terintegrasi adalah 68,75%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk perangkat eksperimental berdasarkan pendekatan inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan proses siswa dalam materi teori kinetik gas.The learning process in the gas kinetic theory material is still practically monotonous; the students are not actively involved during the learning process. These things lead to students understanding of the concepts conveyed in this material. The teacher must be able to adjust the process-oriented learning activities, and allow students to develop their abilities. In this case, the inquiry-based learning process is appropriate to train students to be active, think critically, be able to solve problems, produce good results. This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students' process skills through the implementation of gas kinetic theory learning media based on the inquiry approach. The method used in this research is One Shoot Case Study design. The subject of this research was class XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. An Instrument of the data collection was test of the learning result of learning process skills. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. The results showed the average absorption capacity of students' process skills was in a good category at 74,95%. The level of process skills shows 81,25% of students have good basic skills, while the integrated skills are 68,75%. It can be concluded that the implementation of learning media in the form of experimental devices based on the inquiry approach can improve the learning outcomes of student’s process skills in the material of the kinetic theory of gas.

Abstract

Abstract: The ability to analyze physics is one of the skills needed in today's 21st century. This study aims to determine the ability to analyze students and to determine the difference in the ability to analyze high school students using the KIT Mechanics media and not using the media in the Business and Energy material for class X SMA Negeri 1 Kandis. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control design research model. The population of this study was all students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kandis for the academic year 2020/2021, with a sample involving 30 students from each class X IPA 1 as the experimental class, and X IPA 3 as the control class. The research instrument used was in the form of post-test questions on the ability to analyze physics in the form of objective questions accompanied by reasons for the answers, totaling 20 questions. In the matter of the ability to analyze physics, there are 3 indicators, including indicators of analyzing C4, evaluating C5, and creating C6. Then the results of the research were analyzed descriptively in the form of the ability to analyze physics and inferential in the form of normality test, homogeneity test, and independent-sample t-test with the help of SPSS 25. The results showed that learning using the Mechanics KIT media was able to improve the ability to analyze physics in the Business and Energy class material. X SMA Negeri 1 Kandis. Abstract

For senior high school students, learning concepts in physics is increasingly more difficult when the topic is abstract and cannot be seen with the unaided eye. The research here utilized augmented reality technology and instructional design following the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation) to develop learning media for physics, specifically the kinetic theory of gases. Preliminary analysis was conducted in a senior high school to evaluate the challenges students face when learning physics. The design of the media was based on addressing problems that the students were having. Augmented reality technology was then utilized and the implementation aimed to incorporate the physics concepts into the product. The media was evaluated by six experts. Finally, the learning media presented real-time 3D animation of gas kinetic theory with three basic competencies relevant to the topic. In the final validation, the results indicated that the developed learning media had a validity value of 3.55 out of four-point scale and good quality outcomes. As such, the developed media regarding the kinetic theory of gases is valid and effective for the process of learning and teaching. It is ready to be tested and used in actual learning environments.
