Abstract

This community service aims to provide junior volleyball athletes with an understanding of the role of each player in the team with specialization in individual abilities. The community services method uses a three-way discussion, namely from community services with coaches and athletes using the zoom application media. Pre and post tests were conducted to measure the knowledge of junior athletes about athletes' knowledge of specialization in volleyball. The dedication subjects were 17 junior volleyball athletes in Bantul district. The results of the dedication obtained by the level of knowledge of junior volleyball athletes in Bantul Regency with differences in the mean results 85.88 and after the dedication was carried out 87.64. The more you know the role of each player in the team, the easier it will be for the team to carry out its duties.

Abstract

Pendekatan dalam suatu pembelajaran bolavoli perlu terus dikembangkan sesuai dengan perkembangan cabang olahraga bolavoli. Kendala yang dialami guru Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) di sekolah dasar adalah kurangnya wawasan tentang materi bolavoli yang sesuai dengan kondisi saat ini. Tujuan pengabdian adalah memberikan pengetahuan bagi guru PJOK sekolah dasar di Kulon Progo tentang pembelajaran bolavoli dengan pendekatan TGfU. Metode pengabdian dengan menggunakan sosialisasi. Teknik evaluasi dengan tes sebelum dan setelah kegiatan sosialisasi. Jumlah peserta sosialisasi dalam kegiatan ini adalah 27 orang guru PJOK di Kulon Progo. Hasil Pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta pengabdian dari hasil pretest sebesar: 64.07 menjadi sebesar 76.67 setelah posttest kegiatan pengabdian. Kesimpulan pembelajaran dengan metode TGfU dalam materi bolavoli di sekolah dasar dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif metode untuk lebih mengembangkan pola bermain peserta didik dengan strategi di dalamnya.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of a PowerPoint-based virtual museum medium in enhancing fourth-grade elementary school students' motivation and understanding of social studies material on cultural diversity. Using a quasi-experimental design with a Non-equivalent Control Group Pretest-Posttest approach, the study involved 38 students divided into an experimental group (using the virtual museum) and a control group (using conventional textbooks). The research instruments included a motivation questionnaire based on the ARCS model and a material comprehension test based on Bloom's taxonomy. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample t-test and Independent Sample t-test. The results showed that the use of the virtual museum significantly increased students' motivation (p = 0.000) and material comprehension (p = 0.000). The average motivation score for the experimental group (90.47) was significantly higher than that of the control group (72.89). Similarly, the experimental group's comprehension score (80.26) was much higher than the control group's (42.89). These findings prove that the virtual museum is superior to conventional textbooks in creating an immersive, interactive, and student-centered learning experience, aligning with Vygotsky's social constructivism theory and the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. This medium successfully overcomes the limitations of conventional media and the inaccessibility of physical museums, ultimately fostering students' interest and active engagement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dampak media situs web permainan edukatif (arcademics.com) terhadap motivasi belajar dan keterampilan mengingat kosakata bahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuasi-eksperimental yang mencakup pengamatan terhadap dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 42 anak berusia 4 hingga 6 tahun, dengan 21 anak dalam kelompok eksperimen dan 21 anak dalam kelompok kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, pengujian, survei, dan pendokumentasian, yang menghasilkan data deskriptif. Uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji sampel berpasangan digunakan untuk pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media permainan edukatif secara signifikan memengaruhi motivasi belajar dan keterampilan pengenalan kosakata bahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

The research aims to develop short movies as a medium for learning micro counseling. The short movies developed illustrate the basic skills of counseling through scenes from the counselor and the counselee. The short film consists of three parts: a short movie entitled Pulih, a short movie review, and a short movie entitled 'Do's and Don'ts'. The research uses a quantitative research approach with research and development methods. The research was carried out in four stages: the preliminary stage, the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the result formulation stage. The data were obtained through the assessments given by experts and prospective users which were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the product developed was feasible to be used as a micro counseling learning medium.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the elements of Javanese, Medicine. Jamu has been a part of Indonesian life for hundreds of years, especially in Java. Javanese Jamu is an herbal drink made from various local medicinal plants, such as turmeric, temulawak, ginger, kencur, and many more. This concoction is believed to have health benefits, ranging from maintaining immunity to helping cure various minor ailments.  The study method used is descriptive qualitative method and tends to use analysis. The theoretical basis is used as a basic reference in preparing the study report to match the conditions in the field. In addition, the theoretical basis can also provide an overview of the background of the study as material for discussion. The ability to collect data is an important factor in determining the validation of the study conducted. Data collection in this case is obtained secondarily, namely through documents or literature studies. The results of the study found that jamu as a tourist attraction has shown various benefits and potential that can support cultural and health tourism in Indonesia. With its background as a traditional medicinal plant-based drink that has been used by Javanese people for centuries, jamu not only provides health benefits but also has cultural and economic appeal.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of LMS Moodle on scientific attitudes and motivation in science lessons for class V at SDN Demangan, to find out differences in scientific attitudes and learning motivation between classes using Moodle LMS and classes using PowerPoint in science lessons for class V at SDN Demangan. The subjects in this study were 44 students in class 5 of SDN Demangan. The research method uses a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The data analysis technique used is the paired samples t-test and the independent samples t-test. The results showed that there was a significant and positive effect of the use of LMS Moodle and Powerpoint on scientific attitudes and learning motivation of students with the results of the t test analysis respectively of 11.762, 10.283 and 8.047 and 10.109 with the same significance 0.00 < 0.05, there are differences in scientific attitudes and learning motivation between classes using Moodle LMS media and classes using PowerPoint media with a significance level (2-tailed) 0.009 < 0.05.
