Abstract

Many traditional games originated from several local regions in Indonesia, especially Yogyakarta, may nurture learning in early childhood education. The study aims to explore the teachers’ perception in implementing, understanding, and adapting traditional games that could develop students’ motor skills in kindergarten. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach with a questionnaire as its instrument, involving 35 kindergarten teachers The questionnaire was validated using an Aiken-V, The results showed that the teachers’ perspectives of traditional games were generally limited to a superficial understanding and were not yet deep in terms of its benefits to other learning aspects. The implementation of traditional games in learning was heterogeneous and merely based on the understanding of each teacher. To adapt traditional games, teachers relied on the curriculum sources and were reluctant to enrich themselves with other sources. It was concluded that the teachers have not been fully able to use the traditional games in physical motor learning in kindergarten. To integrate them in learning, teachers must deepen their understanding of traditional games and get to know the characteristics of early childreen.

Abstract

Kesehatan adalah sesuatu yang penting dalam diri setiap individu. Olahraga adalah cara alami menjaga kesehatan dan mencegah penyakit. Di negara maju seperti Belanda, biaya perawatan kesehatan meningkat hingga 2,5 persen, di Kanada 6  persen, dan di Amerika Serikat (AS) mencapai 8 persen,  sebagai akibat warga masyarakat kurang melakukan aktivitas jasmani.  Penelitian membuktikan, aktif bergerak  setiap hari dapat menjauhkan dari risiko penyakit seperti kanker.Olahraga adalah aktivitas jasmani apapun yang memiliki ciri permainan dan  unsur satu perjuangan dengan diri sendiri, atau dengan orang lain atau satu  tantangan alam. Manfaat olahraga terhadap otak adalah meningkatkan  kemampuan  otak, membantu menunda proses penuaan, mengurangi stress, menaikkan daya tahan tubuh, mengobari gangguan emosional. Kanker  adalah segolongan penyakit yang ditandai dengan pembelahan sel yang tidak  terkendali dan kemampuan  sel-sel tersebut untuk menyerang jaringan biologis  lainnya, baik dengan pertumbuhan langsung di jaringan yang bersebelahan (invasi) atau dengan migrasi sel ke tempat yang jauh (metastasis). Olahraga  dapat dikatakan sebagai obat, karena orang  yang melakukan olahraga secara rutin dapat menghasilkan endorphin (sebagai penghilang sakit) yang lebih  banyak.Orang yang menderita penyakit kanker tidak hanya sakit secara fisik, tetapi  bisa mempengaruhi psikologisnya yaitu terjadi penolakan dalam diri,  muncul rasa cemas, dan depresi. Salah satu cara untuk menghilangkan rasa  depresi adalah  dengan berolahraga. Apabila seseorang berolahraga maka akan muncul manfaat  yang sangat banyak, antara lain membuat mental menjadi  lebih sehat, pikiran  jernih, stres berkurang dan memicu timbulnya perasaan  bahagia.Kata Kunci: kanker, olahraga

Abstract

Penelitian   bertujuan   untuk   mengembangan   permainanan   sebagai alternatif bermain dan mengenalkan permainan tradisional kepada anak usia dini.  Penelitian  ini  merupakan  penelitian  pengembangan  dari  permainan kecil sunda manda. Permainan   sunda   manda   merupakan   permainan   tradisional   yang mempunyai  manfaat  untuk  mengembangkan  kemampuan  fisik  motorik. Melalui  pendidikan  jasmani  di  TK  maka  permainan  ini  sangat memungkinkan diterapkan, karena pendidikan jasmani merupakan bagian dari  unsur  pendidikan  nasional.  Lokasi  penelitian  di  wilayah  Pandak Yogyakarta.  Penelitian  ini  akan  dilaksanakan  pada  bulan  Mei  sampai Oktober 2013. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan ujicoba skala terbatas. FGD melibatkan pengawas TK/RA, kepala sekolah TK/RA, dan guru-guru TK/RA. Hasil penelitian berupa permainan sunda manda yang dapat digunakan sebagai  alternativ  permainan  untuk  mengembangkan  kemampuan  fisik motorik melompat atau meloncat. Bidang pengembangan permainan adalah peraturan dengan menyederhanakan peraturan dan mengubah tingkat kesulitan. Sedangkan untuk media dengan menyediakan media yang aman, menarik bagi anak usia dini.   Kata Kunci: permainan sunda manda, pendidikan jasmani.

Abstract

Implementing a distance learning system has resulted in all teaching and learning activities innovated with online learning that can be accessed via distance. In this case, students certainly experience different difficulties and challenges. The encouragement and motivation from students to keep the spirit of following the lesson will determine the success of learning. This study aims to determine students' motivation to learn in online learning for advanced Civics courses at the PGMI study program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, and the subject is students in the Advanced Civics course, totalling 33 students. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model of Miles's theory; Huberman and Saldana analyze data in three stages: data condensation, presenting data (data display), and drawing conclusions or verification (conclusion drawing and verification). The results showed that the Advanced Civics Study Program students at the PGMI UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta had high motivation, obtaining 72.66%. This means that even though students have undergone online lectures with a distance learning system for 4 semesters, it does not affect students' motivation to continue learning, even though there are several obstacles during the process. Abstract

Online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic impacts the university level, especially during the learning process. This influence was felt by PGSD students at Yogyakarta State University when simulating online learning media. The simulation of learning media is undoubtedly related to students' science process skills as a provision for prospective teachers. These science process skills must be measured as preparation for becoming a prospective teacher in the learning process in the future. However, detailed measurements have not been carried out. Therefore, this study aims to describe the science process skills of PGSD students in simulating science learning media in a network. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The data analysis technique uses Miles, Huberman Saldana, which consists of condensing the data, presenting the data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the indicators observing 83.33% very high category, classifying 44.44% moderate category, interpreting 33.33% low category, predicting 50.00% sufficient category, asking questions 50.00% sufficient category, formulating hypotheses 50.00% sufficient category, planning an experiment 77.78% high category, using tools and materials 11.11% deficient category, apply the concept of 61.11% high category and communicate 61.11% high category. In general, students' science process skills have not been able to optimally, so there is a need for a lecture program to simulate science learning media on a network by providing PhET simulation media.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes tend to be low because the media used has not been able to improve learning outcomes even though in the era of sophisticated technology teachers can use interesting media. So that the solution to this problem, teaching materials must be developed in an interesting way. Live worksheet which contains sheets containing assignments that must be done by students. One of them is technology-based media, namely e-LKPD by live worksheets. This study aims to determine the effect of e-LKPD learning media by live worksheets on student learning outcomes. This research method uses a quantitative approach to the type of Pre-Test and Post-Test. Data collection techniques in this study used a learning outcomes questionnaire. The population used in this study was class III at SDN Girirejo and sample used in this study totaled 28 students. Data analysis using one-sample t-test. Based on the results of the Validity Test, the results showed that r = 0.396> α (0.05) so that all item items showed valid results. Reliability test if the value of α > 0.769 the value is reliable, namely 0.769. The results of the normality test for the value of learning outcomes are 0.185 > α (0.05), then the variable values are normally distributed, followed by using the one-sample t-test, the results of the t-test results are learning outcomes on the t-statistic value of 7,850> α (0.05) then reject H0. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of e-LKPD learning media assisted by live worksheets on student. Keywords: Count numbers, e-LKPD live worksheet, learning outcomes

Abstract

The ability of elementary school teacher education students at Yogyakarta State University in compiling learning tools is still low. It is proven from the results of the learning tools that are not in accordance with the writing procedures and characteristics of elementary school students, the content is not appropriate, and the components are not complete. The solution that can be done is to do self-reflection on the learning tools they have arranged. This study aims to improve the ability of teacher students in compiling learning through self-reflection in the Elementary School Science Education course. This research uses the classroom action research method. The subjects of this study were 4th-semester Elementary School Teacher Education students in class C. The data were processed and analyzed descriptively, quantitatively, and qualitatively. The results showed that the student's ability in preparing science learning tools had an average initial score of 75.43 and increased to 95 after the first cycle was carried out by self-reflection through the instrument. The student's ability increased again after the second cycle was carried out by adding treatment in the form of giving instruments and conducting peer discussions and expert experts. This increase obtained an average score of 98. It was concluded that self-reflection can help students analyze shortcomings and find solutions and make improvements so that they can develop good science learning tools as a provision to become professional teachers

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan langsung antara pola asuh orang tua dan keterampilan anak usia dini serta hubungan langsung antara pola asuh orang tua dan keterampilan motorik anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kabupaten Kulon Progo Yogyakarta. Sumber data penelitian adalah siswa dan orang tua. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan kuesioner. Data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kategorisasi variabel pengasuhan orangtua menunjukkan tinggi (0%), sedang (98,6%) dan rendah (1,4%). Keterampilan motorik anak usia dini menunjukkan variabel yang tinggi (97,7%),. sedang (1,8%), dan rendah (0,5%). Hasil analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan langsung antara pola asuh orang tua dan keterampilan motorik anak usia dini yaitu sebesar 0,003 dan hubungan tidak langsung antara pola asuh orang tua dan keterampilan motorik anak usia dini yaitu sebesar 0,571. Berdasarkan pembahasan hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dan keterampilan motorik anak usia dini akan lebih tinggi jika antar variabel saling mendukung. Orang tua harus memberikan panduan pengasuhan yang mendukung kebutuhan motorik/gerak anak, sehingga dapat memberikan pengalaman dan keberanian anak-anak untuk mengembangkan keterampilan motorik berdasarkan usia dan pertumbuhannya. Abstract

Permainan tradisional memiliki manfaat yang beragam untuk pengembangan anak usia dini, termasuk membentuk karakter anak usia dini. Program pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang cara memodifikasi permainan tradisional, kemudian menerapkannya dalam pembelajaran, serta mendiseminasikan kepada kolega guru lainnya. Metode kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Adapun hasil dari kegiatan yaitu berupa empat permainan tradisional modifikasi untuk anak usia Kelompok Bermain (2-4 tahun) meliputi Lingkaran binatang (mengembangkan dari permainan tradisional Jamuran), Tanaman keliling (mengembangkan dari permainan tradisional Cublak-cublak suweng), Sayuran (mengembangkan dari permainan tradisional Jamuran), dan Lompat rintangan (mengembangkan dari permainan tradisional lompat tali), serta tiga permainan tradisional modifikasi untuk anak usia 5-6 tahun meliputi: Menara menari (mengembangkan dari permainan tradisional Boi-boi an), Bermain sebut nama (mengembangkan dari permainan tradisional Cublak-cublak suweng), dan Jamuran jeneng kewan (mengembangkan dari permainan tradisional Jamuran). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 90% peserta pelatihan memahami pengembangan modifikasi permainan tradisional untuk mengembangkan karakter anak usia dini.
