Abstract

Logical thinking is a way of thinking that leads a person to be able to make correct statements and decisions based on logic and rationale. This skill is indispensable in communicating and writing scientific papers. Based on preliminary observations made, this is one of the obstacles experienced by PPKn teachers in Magetan in scientific writing. Therefore, through this logical thinking exercise, efforts were made to strengthen the logical thinking skills of teachers who are members of the MGMP PPKn Magetan. In accordance with that, the purpose of this service activity is to increase teacher understanding of the rules of logical thinking and increase the ability of teachers to think logically in the context of scientific writing. The activity which was attended by 25 PPKn teachers was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Magetan, with stages: revealing fallacy in thinking through exercises, discussions about logical thinking fallacies, strengthening logical thinking rules, and logic-based writing exercises. This service activity has been successful in improving the basics of the teacher's ability to think logically. The teacher better understands that in writing, careful thinking logic is needed, the ability to compose simple logical writing also increases, but to be able to write scientifically that can be published, further training and assistance is needed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the role of parents in preventing their children's promiscuity in Sudimoro Village, Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. The focus in this study is the actions and words that parents take when carrying out their functions in order to prevent the involvement or opportunities for their children to be involved in promiscuity. The promiscuity of teenagers is meant by teenagers who have had sexual relations outside of marriage or free sex, drug abuse, and drinking. The theoretical basis used is Biddle & Thomas's role theory which consists of several indicators, namely expectations, norms, forms of behavior, assessments and sanctions. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive research design. The informants of this study were six parents who had teenage children aged 13 to 15 years and were not involved in promiscuity. One of the parents in this study worked (father worked while mother did not work). Data collection techniques in this study were in-depth interviews and observation. The data validity technique used triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of parental research in preventing their children's promiscuity and for children's awareness and personal responsibility by laying the foundation of religion as the main education for children in preventing promiscuity, utilizing children's free time with activities to develop talents and interests, applying time limits outside the home as a form of supervision and controlling children's associations and explaining the dangers of promiscuity as self-help for children. It's just that in explaining the dangers of promiscuity there is a difference that girls are more reminded of the dangers of free sex while boys are reminded not to fall into promiscuity such as free sex, drug abuse, and drinking. Abstract

Double burden becomes an important problem for a wife, especially from a poor family. The wife must participate in meeting the needs of the family, thereby creating incompetence and compulsion in a wife. This study aims to reveal the perception of husband and wife related to double burden wife in the family of aquaculture workers. The theory used in this study is the perception theory of Mc Shane and Von Glinow, explaining that receiving information through surroundings requires consideration, a way to categorize information, and how to interpret it through the knowledge possessed. This research was conducted in Pangkah Wetan Village, Ujungpangkah District, Gresik Regency, using a qualitative research approach with a descriptive design. The informants of this study consisted of eight people from four married couples who were selected purposively based on those from aquaculture workers' families aged thirty to sixty years. The focus of this study is the husband and wife's view of the double burden experienced by the wife in the household. Data were collected through observations made every day regarding the time of activities carried out by husband and wife and in-depth interviews. For data validity, source and technique triangulation was used. The results showed that the perceptions of husbands and wives had several differences. Families who have a low economy receive a double burden and require their wives to work. Meanwhile, families who have enough economy allow their wives to work so that other needs are met. Abstract

Cyberbullying is a new problem in the midst of technological advances. The phenomenon of cyberbullying attacks various groups, especially teenagers.Tteenagers are the highest internet access users so far. In the midst of these technological advances, crime is indeed getting easier to do. The right cyberbullying prevention strategy needs to be done to minimize the occurrence of cyberbullying crimes. If viewed from the hierarchy of needs theory from Abraham Maslow, cyberbullying perpetrators have indications of committing cyberbullying crimes because their hierarchical needs are not fulfilled so they look for other individuals to become targets of cyberbullying victims. From the victim's side, the hierarchical needs that were originally all fulfilled are uprooted, one of which is the need for security. The focus of this research is the school's strategy in preventing cyberbullying on students at SMP Negeri 6 Sidoarjo. The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the school's strategy in preventing cyberbullying in students at the state junior high school 6 Sidoarjo. The theory of thinking in this research is the hierarchy of needs theory from Abraham Maslow. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive Narrative type of research. Techniques in collecting research data using interview techniques, and documentation. The research informants were three vice principals of student affairs as facilitators of change agents, teachers of counseling guidance and facilitators of change agents, representatives of change agents who served as coordinators. The results of the study show that cyberbullying occurs because students do not apply social media ethics and lack of knowledge that perpetrators of cyberbullying can be punished according to applicable laws. Preventing cyberbullying in schools can be overcome through agents of change, Tifa's Teman team, anti-bullying campaign through posters, strengthening collaboration between parents, schools, and peers for the anti-cyberbullying digital literacy movement. Abstract

This study reveals about the campaign for child marriage in Sidomulyo Village, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency, namely the village strategy in how to build public awareness not to do child marriage. The purpose of the study was to describe strategies to build public awareness and implement a campaign to stop child marriage in Sidomulyo village, Ngadirojo district, Pacitan district. The theory used in this research is Paulo Freire's Critical Education Theory which suggests that the liberation of the illiterate poor to be able to read, then decides to increase it to critical consciousness or public awareness of the problems they face. In the case of child marriage, awareness is meant to provide an understanding of the dangers posed by child marriage from the educational, economic and health aspects. This study uses a qualitative research approach that produces descriptive data with a critical study research design or critical research involving researchers directly to participate in the implementation of the stop child marriage campaign activities, which means researchers participate in raising public awareness of the understanding of the Marriage Act, Law Child Protection and the dangers posed by child marriage. The results of the study indicate that the concept of conscientization or realizing public awareness that focuses on problem posing education regarding cases of child marriage is realizing FGD in the form of dialogue between the community and resource persons so that awareness can run optimally with the aim of the community not doing and rejecting age marriage. children, but the awareness-raising conducted through the FGDs has not run optimally because it still tends to provide information from one party and the dialogical process has not been achieved as expected. Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies used by PPKn teachers in strengthening the character of discipline and the obstacles faced along with the solutions offered to strengthen the character of discipline in class X students of MAN 2 Lamongan. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. This study uses the theory of Character Education proposed by Thomas Lickona. The informants of this study were two people selected using purposive sampling technique, namely two PPKn teachers. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are several strategies carried out by Civics teachers in strengthening the discipline character of class X students in planning, namely the preparation of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). In the implementation of strengthening the character of discipline according to the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), which was previously designed. These include preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. In addition, teachers make learning contracts in learning, habituation of teachers by giving good examples, students can behave politely, be disciplined and dress neatly, and give rewards to students in the form of grades or points and words of praise. Constraints experienced by Civics teachers in strengthening the character of discipline are the lack of self-awareness of students and the influence of the unfavorable community environment. The solution to overcome the obstacles to strengthening the character of discipline is to provide advice and provide punishment in the form of memorizing short chapters of chapter 30 and Pancasila.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the strategies used by teachers to provide an understanding of state defense for Children with Special Needs (CSN) in inclusive classes. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method which takes place at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kediri. This study uses Peaget's cognitive learning theory. The focus of this research is a strategy that includes planning and implementation by teachers to provide an understanding of defending the country in inclusive classes consisting of regular children and special needs children. The subjects in this study were a class VIII Civics teacher who taught inclusive classes and a class assistant teacher. Data collection techniques used in this research are participant observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation in the form of lesson plans and the results of learning scores. Based on the research results, the implementation of PPKn learning begins with making a learning implementation plan which is the same as between ABK and regular students, but in the implementation of learning for regular students it is adjusted to the RPP and for ABK modifications are made to the RPP according to their needs. In the implementation of learning the teacher also manages the class to make it easier for children with special needs to receive the stimulus provided by the teacher. The teacher provides an understanding of defending the country by interpreting the national anthem, delivering repeated material and demonstrations, delivering material in verbal and non-verbal languages, optimizing the understanding of defending the country with image media, and implementing school rules as a form of love for the homeland.Kata Kunci: National Defense, Children in Need Special (CNS), Inclusive School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang upaya yang dilakukan lembaga P2TP2A dalam mencegah terjadinya KDRT selama pandemi Covid-19. Dengan menjabarkan strategi dan kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh P2TP2A selama pandemi Covid-19 hingga saat ini. Pemilihan strategi dan kegaitan menjadi fokus yang dicermati sebagai suatu pilihan dalam kondisi pandemi. Pilihan yang dipilih oleh anggota lembaga juga mempertimbangkan setiap aaspek didalam lembaga ataupun masyarakat. Penempatan pilihan itu juga didasarkan kepada pertimbangan yang logis dan beralasan. Semua itu sesuai juga dengan pendapat James Colleman tentang pemikiran pilihan rasional yang dikemukakan. Kondisi ini memaksa setiap upaya menjadi pilihan yang berharga dan bermakna dengan alasan tertentu. Untuk itu pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode kualitatif dan ditulis kembali menjadi deskripsi ilmiah. Dengan menggunakan teori James Colleman tentang Pilihan Rasional menjadi pisau bedah dalam penelitian ini. Hasilnya ada beberapa kegiatan dan upaya lembaga dalam mencegah KDRT yaitu  penyuluhan kepada masyarakat tentang dan penanganan KDRT, konseling kepada perorangan yang akan membangun atau sudah berkeluarga, serta membantu penyelesaian KDRT yang sudah terjadin dan dilaporkan kepada lembaga.  Hasil upaya dan kegiatan yang dilakukan ini menjadi sangat penting saat pandemi seperti saat ini dengan berdampak kepda mengurangi dan mencegah melonjaknya kasus KDRT dalam pandemi Covid-19. Dengan dasar bahwa upaya dan kegiatan yang dipilih itu mengoptimalkan semua aspek dan sumber daya yang dimiliki

Abstract

This study aims to describe the response of the Jemur Wonosari community regarding the establishment of the Sanggar Candi Busana for followers of the Sapta Darma belief in terms of a multicultural attitude. The theory used in this study is the SOR (Stimulus-Organism-Response) theory discovered by Hovland. This theory assumes that a certain stimulus (verbal words, non-verbal cues, and symbols) will stimulate other people or groups to respond in a certain way as well. In this study using qualitative research methods with descriptive research type. The informants in this study were determined using a purposive sampling technique. The number of informants was selected with the consideration of the people living around the Sanggar Candi Busana building and also community leaders related to the activities of the Sapta Darma belief system until data saturation was obtained. The informants in the study found ten informants consisting of the community, community leaders in the Jemur Wonosari sub-district, and religious leaders of the Sapta Darma belief. The location in this study was in the Jemur Wonosari sub-district, Wonocolo District, Surabaya City. Data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews and observation. The results of this study indicate that the residents of Jemur Wonosari gave two responses, namely, the response before the public knew the function of the Fashion Temple Studio. And the positive response to the existence of the Sanggar Candi Busana and adherents of the Sapta Darma belief, community members live side by side. Acceptance of community members is part of humanist communication, Sapta Darma activities which involve the community as a form of upholding the value of harmony. A multicultural attitude emerges where society maintains harmonious relations and provides space for differences in belief and worship without disturbing or disturbing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui etos kerja PKL pasca penertiban di perumahan Taman Pinang Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipant. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data Stevick-Colaizzi-Keen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya etos kerja PKL Taman Pinang Sidoarjo terlihat dari sikap dan pandangan kerja. Sikap kerja PKL terlihat dari sikap ramah yang diterapkan kepada pembeli dan orang-orang yang ada disekitar. Pandangan kerja terlihat dari PKL yang memandang Kerja yaitu (1) Pemahaman kerja digolongkan menjadi 3 yaitu: kerja adalah perjuangan, kerja adalah Ibadah, Kerja adalah Siasat, (2) waktu/motif tindakan digolongkan menjadi dua yaitu waktu waktu terbagi menjadi 2 dimensi waktu, yakni motif sebab (because motive) terdiri atas (1) kesulitan dalam mencukupi kebutuhan sehari-hari, (2) kesulitan dalam mencari pekerjaan, dan (3) Tidak bisa melanjutkan sekolah,dan motif tujuan (in-order to motive) terdiri atas (1) kesulitan dalam mencukupi kebutuhan sehari-hari, (2) kesulitan dalam mencari pekerjaan, (3) tidak bisa melanjutkan sekolah, kemudian motif tujuan (In-order to motive) yakni karya/ kerja terdiri atas (1) mencukupi kebutuhan sehari-hari, (2) mendapatkan pengakuan dari orang lain dan (3) menyekolahkan anaknya. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah etos kerja PKL merupakan etos kerja yang terbukti dari sikap dan pandangan kerja yang mengandung nilai-nilai yaitu: kesopanan, perjuangan dan religi.
