Abstract

Penelitian ini bertjuan untuk mengembangkan buku pengayaan fisika SMA berkonteks kearifan local pada perahu tradisional Jambi dan mengetahui presepsi siswa terhadap buku pengayaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementattion, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah ahli materi, ahli media serta 30 siswa SMAN 1 Kota Jamb dan SMA Adhyaksa 1 Jambi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes diagnostic, lembar validasi ahli, serta angket respon siswa. Penelitian ini menghasilkan buku pengayaan fisika SMA pada perahu tradisioanl Jambi yang dicetak dalam ukuran A5. Buku pengayaan ini menjelaskan pengetahuan asli masyarakat tentang perahu tradisional yang kemudian direkontruksi menjadi pengetahuan ilmiah. Hasil validasi buku pengayaan pada aspek materi diperolehhasil 93.33 dengan kategori sangat baik dan pada aspek media diperoleh hasil 89,19 dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji kepraktisan buku pengayaan mendapatkan hasil 89,19 dengan kategori baik. Buku pengayaan fisika SMA pada perahu tradisioanl Jambi layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku pengayaan fisika berkonteks etnosains pada permainan patok lele dan gobak sodor dan mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap buku pengayaan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua ahli dan siswa SMAN 9 Kota Jambi dan SMAN 7 Kota Jambi. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi ahli, tes diagnostik, lembar wawancara, serta angket persepsi siswa. Jenis data yang diperoleh yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan buku pengayaan fisika pada permainan tradisional patok lele dan gobak sodor yang dicetak dalam ukuran A5. Hasil validasi buku pengayaan pada aspek materi diperoleh hasil 91% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik dan pada aspek media diperoleh hasil 93,75% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Hasil persepsi siswa buku pengayaan mendapatkan hasil 90,78% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul fisika berkonteks ethnophysics pada pokok bahasan gerak melingkar. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Dessiminate). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 7 Kota Jambi dan SMAN 9 Kota Jambi dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, lembar validasi ahli materi dan media, serta angket persepsi siswa. Jenis data yang diperoleh yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif dianalisis  secara deskriptif dan dan data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan e-modul fisika berkonteks ethnophysics pada pokok bahasan gerak melingkar. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi diperoleh persentase sebesar 95,93% dengan kategori sangat baik, ahli media sebesar 98,33% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan hasil persepsi siswa sebesar 88,9% dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

This research aims to exploring and reconstructing of indigenous knowledge of coffee processing in Kerinci into scientific knowledge. This research was qualitative using ethnoscience approach. The research was carried out at Coffee Nur Kerinci. The key informan were the owner and employees of Coffee Nur. Data collection was carried out through observation and deep interview. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively using the Miles and Huberman models. The processing of Coffee Nur Kerinci carried out traditionally using simple tools. It consists of drying of coffee beans, roasting, cooling, pulverization, sifting, and packaging of coffee powder. Drying of coffee beans was carried out by the sun for 21 days with an average of five hours/day. The roasting process was carried out by using a roaster made of a drum that rotated on the stove. The pulverization was carried out by using a waterwheel as a driving force which was connected to eight pestles. Scientifically, the processing of Coffee Nur Kerinci can be reconstructed into scientific concepts regarding the classification of living things, heat and transfer, circular motion, collisions, and forces.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan terhadap perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan sebagai panduan dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah guru mata pelajaran fisika di MAN 1 Muaro Jambi. Data penelitian diperoleh dari kegiatan wawancara guru fisika tentang analisis kebutuhan terhadap perangkat pembelajaran Flipped classroom yang terintegrasi etnosains. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa 1) pada proses pembelajaran fisika, keterlibatan peserta didik sangat kurang disebabkan guru hanya memposisikan peserta didik sebagai penerima informasi, 2) pembelajaran fisika cenderung menggunakan model discovery learning yang hanya berfokus pada pembelajaran tatap muka, 3) metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru belum sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum merdeka dan pembelajaran abad 21, 4) perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru belum memuat model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum merdeka serta belum terintegrasi etnosains. Hasil analisis wawancara guru fisika menunjukkan bahwa guru lebih membutuhkan perangkat pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum merdeka agar guru dapat dengan mudah melaksanakan pembelajaran yang berpandu pada perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka, ditekankan pentingnya menggabungkan unsur-unsur kearifan lokal dalam proses pembelajaran, yang bertujuan untuk mendukung pencapaian profil pelajar yang sesuai dengan prinsip Pancasila. Oleh karena itu, guru diharapkan untuk mempersiapkan materi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka, yang mengintegrasikan elemen-elemen kearifan lokal. Namun, dalam praktiknya, masih terdapat temuan di lapangan, khususnya di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, di mana beberapa sekolah, seperti SMAN 8 Tanjung Jabung Timur, masih menggunakan bahan ajar yang mengacu pada kurikulum sebelumnya dan belum mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal atau aspek etnosains. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah melatih guru-guru di SMAN 8 Tanjung Jabung Timur agar dapat mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal atau aspek etnosains. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yakni persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diadakan pada tanggal 7 Agustus 2023 di SMAN 8 Tanjung Jabung Timur. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru SMAN 8 Tanjung Jabung Timur dapat memahami dengan baik konsep dan teknik penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka, yang mengintegrasikan elemen-elemen kearifan lokal atau aspek etnosains dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata kunci: alat peraga; perangkat pembelajaran; sensor; tracker. ABSTRACTIn the context of the Independent Curriculum, the importance of combining elements of local wisdom in the learning process is emphasized, which aims to support the achievement of student profiles in accordance with the principles of Pancasila. The aim of this community service activity is to train teachers at SMAN 8 Tanjung Jabung Timur to be able to develop independent curriculum learning tools that integrate local wisdom or ethnoscience aspects. The method used in this activity is a workshop, which consists of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This training activity was held on August 7, 2023, at SMAN 8 Tanjung Jabung Timur. The result of this training is that the teachers of SMAN 8 Tanjung Jabung Timur can understand well the concepts and techniques for preparing learning tools that are in accordance with the Independent Curriculum, which integrates elements of local wisdom or ethnoscience aspects in the learning process. Keywords: learning device; sensor; tracker; teaching aid.

Abstract

Ethnoscience learning is an activity that connects local wisdom or cultural with science concepts. A mixed method study with an embedded design was used to describe how do teachers apply ethnoscience learning to increase scientific literacy. A total of 90 students grade 8th in District Muaro Jambi were involved in this study consisted of three classes. In-depth interviews and observations were conducted to collect qualitative data. The observation was used to determine the suitability of learning with the lesson plan. Deep interviews were used to explore teacher and student experiences in implementing ethnoscience learning. A teacher and three students were randomly selected as key informants. The quantitative data were collected by scientific literacy test that consisted of ten multiple choices. It has been tested for validity and reliability. The result of the reliability test is 0.85 with a very high category. Increase in scientific literacy is measured by normalized gain (N-gain). The analysis of variance (ANOVA) test was applied to determine scientific literacy differences between groups. Ethnoscience learning had been implemented by teacher in three different class on topic simple machines. It was designed by integrating local wisdom as a context for finding scientific concepts. The learning was designed by following a discovery model. The implementation of ethnoscience learning can increase scientific literacy with medium category. There was no significant difference between three classes.

Abstract

Learning tools for a teacher are an obligation that must be owned, because they become a guide for a teacher in carrying out the teaching and learning process. Learning devices are the initial stage in the learning process, so the quality of the devices used must make students more active in the learning process. The aim of this study is to develop learning devices of flipped classroom independent curriculum integrated with ethnoscience materials applying the principles and concepts of heat. This study uses a 4D model, but researchers conduct research only at the develop stage. The subjects of this study were 2 Physics lecturers and teachers. The data collection method used in this research is in the form of interviews and expert validation sheets, namely pedagogy, materials and media. Data analysis techniques in this study consisted of qualitative data, quantitative data and validation questionnaire data. The result produce flipped classroom learning device integrated with ethnoscience in the material applying the principles and concepts of high school physics heat. Based on the validation data of lecturers as experts and teachers as users, it can be concluded that the validation learning device products get results in all aspects in very good categories.

Abstract

Challenges in the digital era require students to have strong digital literacy, especially in utilising technology wisely. This service activity aims to improve the digital literacy skills of students at SMA 2 Batanghari. This includes improving the ability to think critically, creatively and collaborate in the digital space. The method used includes preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The discussion of digital literacy material aims to build a safe environment and educate students about positive digital media practices. Digital literacy is expected to help students become responsible and wise users of technology. Evaluation assessment was conducted using questionnaires before and after the activity (pretest and posttest). The results of the questionnaire showed that there was an increase in students' digital literacy skills with a medium level N-Gain category. Based on the data obtained, the activities carried out were effective in improving students' understanding and digital literacy skills. This service activity is expected to be a provision in facing technological challenges in the digital era. A deep understanding of the impact of digital media and how to use it is expected to lead learners to be ready to face challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

In the context of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka), emphasis is placed on integrating elements of local wisdom into the learning process to support the achievement of student profiles aligned with Pancasila principles. Therefore, teachers are expected to prepare instructional materials that incorporate elements of local wisdom in line with the Independent Curriculum. However, findings in the field, particularly in Batang Hari Regency, indicate that some schools, such as SMAN 2 Batang Hari, still rely on teaching materials based on the previous curriculum, which do not incorporate local wisdom or ethnoscience aspects. The purpose of this community service activity is to train teachers at SMAN 2 Batang Hari to develop Independent Curriculum learning tools that integrate local wisdom or ethnoscience aspects using Heyzine. This platform is utilized to create interactive digital learning modules based on ethnoscience, allowing teachers to visually and contextually present elements of Jambi’s local culture. The method used in this activity is a workshop comprising three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This training took place on August 29, 2024, at SMAN 2 Batang Hari. The results of this training indicate that teachers at SMAN 2 Batang Hari gained a good understanding of the concepts, techniques, and use of Heyzine in preparing learning tools in line with the Independent Curriculum, thereby enabling more effective integration of local wisdom or ethnoscience aspects into the learning process
