Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of green packaging on purchase decision, with environmental awareness as a moderating variable, in the context of Aqua bottled water products in Indonesia. Design/methodology/approach – The research model was tested using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with a sample of 200 Aqua consumers in Indonesia. The data were collected through an online survey and analyzed using WarpPLS software version 7.0. Findings – The results show that green packaging has a significant positive effect on purchase decision (β=0.533; P<0.001), and environmental awareness also significantly influences purchase decision (β=0.333; P<0.001). Furthermore, environmental awareness positively moderates the effect of green packaging on purchase decision (β=0.160; P=0.010). Research limitations – The study focused on a single brand in one product category in Indonesia, which may limit the generalizability of the findings. Future research can replicate the study in different contexts and explore other potential moderators. Practical implications – The findings suggest that green packaging is a strategic tool to attract environmentally conscious consumers. Companies should invest in sustainable packaging and communicate its benefits, especially to consumers with high environmental awareness. Originality/value – This study is the first to investigate the moderating role of environmental awareness on the effect of green packaging on purchase decision for Aqua products in Indonesia. It contributes to the green marketing literature and offers insights for sustainability practices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of Perceived Quality Value, Perceived Social Value, and Perceived Emotional Value on Repurchase Intention with Brand Love as a mediating variable in purchasing Skechers shoes. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique, with a total of 150 respondents. The data analysis method uses a Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the discussion show that Perceived Quality Value, Perceived Social Value, and Perceived Emotional Value have a significant effect on Repuchase Intention through the mediation of Brand Love. These findings emphasise the importance of marketing strategies that focus on improving product quality, social value, and emotional value to strengthen brand loyalty and drive repurchase value.

Abstract

Perkembangan pesat dalam teknologi informasi memungkinkan konsumen untuk berbagi informasi, baik secara tatap muka maupun melalui internet. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM), Social Media Influencer Marketing, dan Price Perception dapat mempengaruhi Brand Image, yang kemudian berdampak pada keputusan konsumen untuk membeli produk smartphone merek Infinix. Data dikumpulkan dari 230 responden yang dipilih melalui metode purposive sampling. Pengolahan data dilakukan melalui pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan memanfaatkan software SmartPLS versi 4. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa E-WOM, Social Media Influencer Marketing, dan Price Perception berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Brand Image dan Purchase Intention produk Infinix. E-WOM memperkuat citra merek dan meningkatkan niat beli, sementara Social Media Influencer Marketing dan Price Perception juga berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan citra merek dan keputusan pembelian. Brand Image berperan sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara faktor-faktor tersebut dengan niat beli konsumen. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pengelolaan informasi merek yang efektif melalui ulasan konsumen, influencer, dan harga untuk meningkatkan minat beli.

Abstract

This research aimed to obtain empirical evidence regarding the influence of Product Quality, Premium Price, and Brand Image on Purchase Decisions. The population in this research was consumers of Natesh Sanitary Pads. There were seven hypotheses put forward for in-depth analysis. The sampling method used a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 200 respondents. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale. The method used for data processing and analysis in this research is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method, which uses the AMOS application. The results of this research showed the relationship or influence of Product Quality, Premium Price, and Brand Image on Purchase Decisions.

Abstract

The development of social media has changed people's interaction patterns. This creates an opportunity for product marketing on social media platforms such as Instagram to increase the product's popularity. One of them is using social media endorsers with solid public influence. This quantitative research aims to determine the impact of endorser credibility on purchasing decisions for Ponds products among the younger generation of Instagram users in Indonesia, which is mediated by attitude toward the brand. This research involved 211 people from various regions in Indonesia who were collected online using Purposive Sampling Techniques through questionnaires. Criteria for samples collected include Ponds product users, Instagram users, and endorser Nanda Arsyinta's content using Ponds products. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS 24. The research results stated that endorser credibility positively and significantly affected buying decisions. Meanwhile, endorser credibility positively and significantly affects attitude toward the brand. Attitude toward the brand indirectly influences endorser credibility and purchasing decisions among younger Instagram users in Indonesia. These findings can help businesses determine the right endorser to represent their brand, convey the product message well to consumers, and create sales.

Abstract

Currently, people live in a globalized environment with significant changes, especially digital technology that change how an organization provides work and the human resource management process in the organization. Generation x is experiencing significant changes in technology that affect them to adapt to the digital era. This study aims to determine the impact of training and development on improving the performance quality of Generation X employees in the West Kalimantan Provincial Government with competence as mediation. Data is presented and analyzed using quantitative methods, and the number of samples is 234 respondents. The questionnaire in this study used a five-point Likert scale (1=Strongly disagree, 2=Disagree, 3=Neutral, 4=Agree, 5=Strongly agree); the questionnaire was distributed online and offline. The analysis in this study was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method through AMOS 24. The findings from this research suggest that training and development have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with intermediary competencies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Social Media Marketing dan Lifestyle terhadap keputusan pembelian (Purchase Decision) dengan Brand Awareness sebagai variabel mediasi pada konsumen Tomoro Coffee di Kota Pontianak. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan metode survei, menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert kepada 100 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Social Media Marketing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Brand Awareness (B = 0,513; p < 0,001), begitu pula dengan Lifestyle (B = 0,465; p < 0,001). Namun, baik Social Media Marketing (B = -0,017; p = 0,864) maupun Lifestyle (B = -0,031; p = 0,702) tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap keputusan pembelian. Sebaliknya, Brand Awareness memiliki pengaruh yang sangat kuat terhadap keputusan pembelian (B = 0,934; p < 0,001), serta secara signifikan memediasi hubungan antara kedua variabel bebas dengan keputusan pembelian. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran Brand Awareness sebagai penghubung antara strategi pemasaran dan perilaku pembelian aktual, serta menyarankan perlunya fokus perusahaan pada peningkatan kesadaran merek melalui aktivitas digital dan pendekatan gaya hidup konsumen.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan industri otomotif, khususnya skuter premium seperti Vespa Matic, menunjukkan adanya pergeseran preferensi konsumen di Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh citra merek, gaya hidup mewah dan kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan konsumen yang dimediasi oleh keputusan pembelian. Vespa Matic dipilih sebagai objek penelitian karena memiliki citra merek yang kuat, dianggap sebagai simbol dari kemewahan dan memiliki kualitas produk yang baik meskipun dibanderol dengan harga lebih tinggi dibandingkan pesaing. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan 105 responden dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) menggunakan SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Luxury Lifestyle berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Purchase Decision, sementara Brand Image dan Product Quality tidak berpengaruh langsung. Namun, ketiga variabel tersebut bersama-sama, melalui mediasi Purchase Decision, berpengaruh positif terhadap Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

The phenomenon of boycotting multinational companies such as Nestlé has increased in response to moral, political, and human rights issues. This study analyzes the influence of moral intensity, news framing, peer pressure, and political consumerism on the intention to boycott Nestlé products in Indonesia, with social media response as a mediating variable. This quantitative study involved 412 Indonesian Muslim consumers who were active on social media and were aware of the Nestlé controversy regarding the Palestine-Israel issue, along with the appeal from the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) to support the boycott movement against products suspected of supporting Israeli aggression. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results showed that the four independent variables had a positive and significant effect on boycott intention. Moral news framing and peer pressure directly increased boycott intention, while political consumerism had the strongest influence, both directly and through the mediation of social media response. Consumers with high political awareness tend to voice their opinions on social media before taking real action in the form of a boycott.

Abstract

Generation Z in the modern era faces financial challenges that could potentially affect economic well-being. This research will explore the influence of financial literacy and love for money on the financial management behavior of Generation Z in Indonesia, with income as a moderating variable. The research method used is quantitative with analysis through SMART PLS. The population of this study is Generation Z in Indonesia. The sample used consisted of 250 respondents. This study shows that financial literacy significantly influences financial management behavior, while love of money does not affect financial management behavior. Income, as a moderating variable, is able to significantly moderate the relationship between financial literacy and financial management behavior, but it cannot moderate the relationship between love of money and financial management behavior. The hope for future research is to be able to add factors that can influence financial management behavior.
