Abstract

Lingkungan pesisir dan pantai terjaga dengan adanya tanaman mangrove. Abrasi yang mengenai jalan by pass Kolaka yang berhadapan dengan Teluk Bone dapat direduksi oleh mangrove sebagai tanggul alami. Mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Geografi FKIP USN Kolaka perlu mempraktekkan upaya penanaman mangrove sebagai upaya untuk untuk meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan pesisir dan pantai. Pelaksanaan penanaman melibatkan 15 mahasiswa, 5 instruktur, dan 12 panitia yang merupakan tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat penanaman pohon mangrove. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan membersihkan lingkungan pesisir dan pantai dari sampah, menanam, dan merawat 200 pohon mangrove. Mahasiswa merasakan manfaat dalam hal mengasah karakter peduli lingkungan pesisir dan pantai dengan melakukan praktek langsung dan mengkaitkan dengan mata kuliah terkait. Kegiatan dapat dijadikan role model dan kegiatan rutin bagi perusahaan yang memiliki dampak kepada lingkungan sekitar. Mangrove Planting in The Kolaka By Pass Beach for Construct Students Coastal and Beach Environment Awareness Abstact The coastal and coastal environment is maintained by the presence of mangrove plants. Abrasion on the Kolaka by-pass road facing Bone Bay can be reduced by mangroves as natural embankments. S1 students of Geography Education FKIP USN Kolaka need to practice mangrove planting efforts to increase awareness of the coastal and beach environment. The implementation of the planting involved 15 students, five instructors, and 12 committees who were a community service team for planting mangrove trees. Activities carried out by cleaning the coastal and beach environment from garbage, planting, and caring for 200 mangrove trees. Students feel the benefits of honing the character of caring for the coastal and beach environment by doing direct practice and linking it with related courses. Activities can be used as role models and routine activities for companies that impact the surrounding environment.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes by using a learning model based on Information and Communicaton Technologies (ICT). This research is a Classroom action research qualitative research. This research method consists of: (1) planning (planning); (2) the implementation of the action (action); (3) observation and evaluation (observation and evaluation); (4) reflection (reflection). This research uses descriptive statistical data analysis involving 20 students, including 7 boys and 13 girls and using instruments in the form of student worksheets and interview guidelines for teachers and students. Based on the results of initial observations, it shows that the low learning outcomes obtained by students. This is because teachers have less ability to vary learning models/strategies, where teachers only explain the material to students and then ask questions, but only a few students have an active understanding of concepts/knowledge in learning. Based on the daily test results, before the first cycle of action, only 40% of students with an average score of 60.1 scored 70 from the KKM (Minimum Graduation Criteria), which was 75%. In the first cycle, there was an increase from the initial test which was 40% to 55% of students with an average score of 65.98 who obtained a score of 70, while in the second cycle the test also increased to 85% with an average score of 80.56 who obtained a score 70. The final result of this research is that it can improve Mathematics Learning Outcomes by Applying the ICT-based Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Learning Model.

Abstract

The existence of agroindustry in rural areas is expected to increase the demand for agricultural products and play a role in converting agricultural products into value-added goods. The purpose of this study is to determine the value addition and efficiency of the sugar palm agro-industry in Tinggo village, Tanggetada district, Kolaka regency. The data analysis method used is Hayami's value-added analysis and R/C ratio analysis. The results showed that the added value of sugar palm was Rp 1.750/unit, which means that the income of actors in the sugar palm agribusiness increased by an additional Rp 1.750/unit. And the value of the R/C ratio is 1.73, which means the palm sugar agroindustry is feasible to develop.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kerjasama pemerintah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris dari sumber daya manusia yang bekerja di daerah tujuan wisata dan merekomendasikan konsep kerjasama di Pantai Gonda Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah pejabat di lingkungan Dinas Pariwisata, Dinas Pendidikan dan Lembaga Kursus Bahasa Inggris di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian dengan deskriptif kualitiatif yang mengkaji data penelitian dengan collaborative governance, yaitu: kondisi awal, desain kelembagaan, kepemimpinan fasilitatif, dan proses kolaborasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kondisi awal, desain kelembagaan, kepemimpinan fasilitatif, dan proses kolaborasi tidak pernah dibentuk atau diputuskan oleh Pemerintah di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Tidak ditemukan kerjasama Pemerintah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi Bahasa Inggris Pariwisata di Pantai Gonda Kabupaten Polewali Mandar.

Abstract

Indonesian lettuce production is still lower than consumption.Lettuce production in Indonesia is still low because hydroponiccultivation needs more concern with the water and sunlight factors.This first study aimed to determine the contribution of water andsunlight to the growth of lettuce. The second study aimed to find outthe difference in lettuce production between the difference in waterand sunlight conditions. This research used the experimentalmethod. The research was conducted in a field laboratory andhydroponic village at the Faculty of Agriculture, Halu OleoUniversity. Data collection methods using field observations andmeasurements. The first objective data analysis techniquesdescribed water quality and sunlight measurements. The secondobjective data analysis used a description of the result of the lettucevariable costing. The results showed that water and sunlightcontributed to the production of lettuce. The water adds nutrients,and the sunlight does not direct to lettuce-affected plants, whichtend to have broad and healthy leaves. The good water and sunlightconditions contribute to pressing the cost of maintaining plants andraising the profit from lettuce production. These results areimportant to the attention of the water and sunlight conditions thatcan raise lettuce production in Indonesia

Abstract

Abstrak: Aktivitas di pulau–pulau Spermonde Sulawesi Selatan belum atraktif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi pola perjalanan yang dilakukan wisatawan di gugusan kepulauan Spermonde.Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di Sulawesi Selatan  dengan pertimbangan sebagai Provinsi yang memiliki gugusan pulau-pulau Spermonde. Teknik dalam menentukan informan penelitian yaitu purposive sampling untuk informan kunci dan accidental sampling untuk informan biasa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data penelitian ini dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola perjalanan yang dapat dilakukan oleh wisatawan pada gugusan Kepulauan Spermonde adalah single point, base site, stop over, dan chaining loop. Pariwisata gugusan Kepulauan Spermonde belum menggunakan pendekatan zona pola perjalanan. Rekomendasi penelitian dengan mengembangkan pola perjalanan berdasarkan zona dan mengidentifikasi pusat setiap zona sebagai pemantik wisata.Abstract: Activities on the Spermonde Islands in South Sulawesi have yet to be attractive. This research aims to identify the travel patterns made by tourists in the Spermonde archipelago. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research location is in South Sulawesi, considered a province with a cluster of Spermonde islands. The technique for determining research informants is purposive sampling for key informants and accidental sampling for ordinary informants. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. This research data analysis technique with qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the travel patterns that tourists in the Spermonde Islands cluster can carry out are single point, base site, stopover, and chaining loop. The tourism of the Spermonde Islands group has yet to use the travel pattern zone approach. The research recommendation was to develop travel patterns based on zones and identify each zone's center as a tourism activator.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the factors of online geography learning outcomes in class XI IIS SMAN 1 Samaturu. Learning outcomes' position was crucial and inseparable from the learning process. Learning outcomes can be used as an indicator of the success of the learning process. Low learning outcomes were a problem in the learning process, which is still developing, and solutions or factors that influence learning outcomes have yet to be found. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive. The subject of this study was students of class XI IIS, totalling 33 students. The technique used to collect data was a questionnaire. First, data analysis was carried out by giving student scores for each questionnaire item. Second, averaging student scores for all of these items, and third, determining student criteria. The results of this study obtained that the student's geography learning outcomes factor was the parental attention factor found in the indicators of giving awards, giving punishments, giving examples, giving guidance and helping difficulties and meeting students' learning needs. The last two indicators make a major contribution to low student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pengenalan bentang lahan geografi bertujuan untuk memperdalam pemahaman pengetahuan tentang geografi fisik dan manusia melalui studi lapangan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengalaman yang diperoleh sebelum, selama, dan setelah mahasiswa dan dosen dari kegiatan fieldtrip pengenalan bentang lahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan multi case. Temuan penelitian bahwa kegiatan fieldtrip pengenalan bentang lahan memberikan pengalaman pedagogik mahasiswa yang meliputi: keterampilan literasi geografi, keterampilan analisis geografi, keterampilan aplikasi ilmu geografi, keterampilan kartografi, keterampilan berpikir kritis dan ilmiah, serta keterampilan pembelajaran penelitian. Pengalaman fieldtrip bagi dosen pembimbing lebih digunakan untuk implementasi research based learning bagi mahasiswa dan melakukan penelitian untuk bidang geografi dan pendidikan geografi di lapangan.

Abstract

Problems in the class indicate students are less active in learning. Students are more dominant in receiving one-way material. The low desire of students in learning participation in the form of asking, answering, or presenting. The outdoor study is the chosen learning method to overcome these problems. The outdoor study is useful for student knowledge, learning, and student motivation. This study aims to determine the effect of outdoor study on the activeness of high school geography students. This research is included in a quantitative methodology with a type of quasi experiment. The researcher determined purposely XI IIS 1 as the experimental class and XI IIS 2 as the control class. Research in Muhammadiyah 1 Babat High School, Lamongan Regency even semester 2015/2016 academic year. The data in this research were analyzed using descriptive quantitative with percentage. The results show that the application of outdoor study provides a change in student active; this can be seen from the category of the active per student in the experimental class, none of them get less active. The average overall active there is a difference of 12.43 from the control class. The average score of questions asked to answer, respond, and presentations of the experimental class are all higher than the control class

Abstract

This research and development aimed to produce teaching materials for research and teaching methodology courses using the 4D model. Teaching materials were arranged based on a 4-D procedure: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The validated teaching materials were tested through small groups of 30 students and large groups of 90 students. It collected data using observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed qualitatively by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The quantitative analysis was done by processing data from expert reviews and responses from lecturers and students using percentages. The development results were teaching materials validated by four expert validators: content-focused material, curriculum-focused material, learning design, and language. The research and development resulted in a defined stage obtained material elaboration from the point of view of the research methodology of language, mathematics, and geography. The design stage was based on the design validator's suggestion regarding an attractive appearance on the cover, chapter titles, and the format of the content of the Deepublish textbook. In the development stage, the validation results obtained an average of 76.37% with good qualifications, and the average test decision was feasible with revisions in certain parts. The test results of small group students obtained 75.19% or good qualifications. The results of the large group trial got 76.83% or good qualifications. The research concludes that teaching materials have been compiled based on 4D steps. Based on the findings, the implications of this study show that the teaching materials resulting from the development can be used as material for consideration for teachers in delivering related material under the conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
