Abstract

Although the essence of human being has been questioned long times ago, there are many conceptual answers toward that question. Thus it is common if human beings, as social and individual creatures may try to question it to find new answers. The answer is mainly obtained by contemplating one's self based on the existing concept or reflecting one's self using an individual spiritual experience. The understanding to the essence of human beings described in this writing is based on the concept given by al-Syaikh al-Akbar ibn Arabi who is philosophical as well as sufistic. Who is a man? A man is "God" in its tajalli perfect form in the universe. Therefore, a man is not perfect when he cannot show God's characteristics. Ibn Arabi says, "one of this characteristics is to become a responsible leader either for himself or others". Meskipun esensi manusia telah dipertanyakan sejak lama, ada banyak jawaban konseptual untuk pertanyaan itu. Jadi, adalah hal yang biasa jika manusia, karena makhluk sosial dan individu dapat mencoba menanyainya untuk menemukan jawaban baru. Jawabannya terutama diperoleh dengan merenungkan diri seseorang berdasarkan konsep yang ada atau mencerminkan diri seseorang dengan menggunakan pengalaman spiritual individu. Pemahaman terhadap esensi manusia yang digambarkan dalam tulisan ini didasarkan pada konsep yang diberikan oleh al-Syaikh al-Akbar ibn Arabi yang filosofis sekaligus sufistik. Siapa pria Seorang pria adalah "Tuhan" dalam bentuk tajalli yang sempurna di alam semesta. Karena itu, seorang pria tidak sempurna saat dia tidak bisa menunjukkan sifat Tuhan. Ibn Arabi mengatakan, "salah satu karakteristik ini adalah menjadi pemimpin yang bertanggung jawab baik untuk dirinya sendiri maupun orang lain".

Abstract

This writing presents a discussion on one of cultural heritage in Indonesia which is in the form of magical ceremony having religious nuance. Several aspects of this ceremony, for instance, Animism and Hinduism values are clearly observable, especially in several form and physical orders; on most aspects, however, the aforementioned values trail are obscure as old traditions. Even though the values are considered as old heritage, by polishing and adapting certain creation, the more perceptible value and belief in this ceremony is Islam transcendentalist and humanist. Ider bumi and slametan are the two of cultural heritage having Islamic nuance, while kebo-keboan is an embodiment of Hinduism cultural heritage. In Alasmalang, kebo-keboan ceremony has religious orientation praying to the God for acquiring good harvest, blessed business and achieving wishes. Regarding ider bumi ceremony, which is practiced in most of Using society, is conducted by going around the village while reading kalimah toyyibah and resounding adzan in every side of village. This ceremony’s purpose is to protect the village from any kind of annoyance from human being and devil. Furthermore, socially, kebo-keboan and ider bumi function as harmony keeper among the villagers, nature and with everything in the environment. Tulisan ini membahas salah satu kekayaan budaya bangsa yang menjelma dalam upacara magic bernuansa keagamaan. Pada beberapa sisi masih tampak kental sebagai warisan budaya lama, baik animisme maupun hinduisme, terutama dalam bentuk dan tatanan fisik, tetapi di sebagian besar yang lain sudah tinggal jejak yang samar sebagai warisan lama. Meskipun sebagai warisan leluhur, dengan polesan dan kreasi tertentu, yang tampak sekarang justru nilai dan tradisi Islam yang transendentalis dan humanis. Warisan budaya yang bercita rasa islami itu seperti ider bumi dan slametan, sementara yang masih bernuansa hinduisme adalah kebo-keboan. Kebo-keboan di Alasmalang mempunyai orientasi relijius berupa permohonan kepada Gusti Allah Yang Maha Kuasa agar tanaman, usaha dan tujuan yang hendak diraih mendapat perkenan dan berhasil sesuai harapan. Sementara ider bumi, yang dipraktikkan di sebagian besar masyarakat Using, keliling kampung dengan membaca kalimah thoyyibah dan mengumandangkan adzan di setiap sudut desa adalah bertujuan untuk melindungi desanya dari segala macam gangguan, dari makhluk kasar maupun halus. Di samping kedua tujuan itu, kebo-keboan dan ider bumi ini juga memiliki fungsi sosial, yaitu menjaga kerukunan sosial atau keharmonisan hubungan dengan sesama, alam semesta, dan dengan segala yang ada di lingkungan hidup manusia

Abstract

Desa mawa cara negara mawa tata, a Javanese wisdom which means that each place in this country has its own different manner and rules as the essence of its people’s cultures and traditions. This paper aims to describe one of Indonesian cultural richness which is transformed in the religious ritual named Seblang in a small village called Olehsari, in Banyuwangi, East Java. This ritual has a religious orientation as an aspiration to the Almighty in order to gain success in agriculture, occupation, and other objectives in the lives of the people of Olehsari. Likewise, Kenduri is also meant as a supplication to the Almighty in order to obtain blessings for the livings and forgiveness for the deceased. In Olehsari, people call this kind of ritual as Ngirim Duwa, or literally translated as ‘sending the prayers’. Furthermore, Seblang and Kenduri have certain social purposes to achieve a serene and harmonious living atmosphere for the people. Desa mawa cara negara mawa tata, sebuah kebijaksanaan Jawa yang berarti bahwa setiap tempat di negara ini memiliki cara dan aturan tersendiri sebagai esensi budaya dan tradisi masyarakatnya. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan salah satu kekayaan budaya Indonesia yang ditransformasikan dalam ritual keagamaan bernama Seblang di sebuah desa kecil bernama Olehsari, di Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur. Ritual ini memiliki orientasi religius sebagai aspirasi bagi Yang Maha Kuasa untuk meraih kesuksesan di bidang pertanian, pekerjaan, dan tujuan lainnya dalam kehidupan masyarakat Assari. Selain itu, Kenduri juga dimaksudkan sebagai permohonan kepada Yang Maha Kuasa untuk mendapatkan berkah bagi penghidupan dan pengampunan bagi almarhum. Di Olehsari, orang menyebut ritual seperti Ngirim Duwa, atau secara harfiah diterjemahkan sebagai 'mengirim sholat'. Lebih jauh lagi, Seblang dan Kenduri memiliki tujuan sosial tertentu untuk mencapai suasana hidup yang tenang dan harmonis bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Since long ago, Javanese ethnics were strongly related to mysticism. The people believed in the unseen which is out of human’s sense. That belief grew so fast. Hence, animism and dynamism become the first belief of Javanese at that time. When Islam first entered in the Javanese land in 14th century, the locals had believed in some sects, those are Hindu, Brahma, and Buddha. Those brought Islam into Java Island had so many works to do. It is not easy since the locals are quite fanatic with their mysticism. Islam, in progress, got positive response from the Javanese people proven by the number of Moslem at that time. Nevertheless, their ancestors’ ritual tradition still remained in the life of those Moslem. This is what makes Javanese Islam becomes the attracting topic for the cultural researchers. This article discusses all about Islam specifically in its spread history in Javanese Island starting from da’wah process to Islamic lesson which is related to Javanese philosophy. It also discusses about how the Islam conveyors tolerated with so many mystic beliefs and slowly changed those from the people. Sejak zaman dahulu, mistik dan suku Jawa sangat terkait erat. Penduduk sangat mempercayai hal gaib yang di luar nalar manusia. Kepercayaan tersebut sangat berkembang pesat. Karenanya, animisme dan dinamisme menjadi keyakinan asli penduduk suku Jawa pada masa itu. Saat Islam masuk ke tanah Jawa di abad 14, penduduk setempat telah meyakini beberapa sekte lain, yakni Hindu, Brahma, dan Budha. Tentu banyak sekali hal yang harus dilakukan bagi pembawa Islam ke tanah Jawa. Tak mudah karena penduduk masa itu sangat fanatik dengan keyakinan mistik mereka. Dalam perkembangannya, Islam mendapat respon positif dari penduduk Jawa terbukti dari banyaknya jumlah Muslim masa itu. Namun, masih banyak sekali muslim yang masih berpegang teguh pada tradisi ritual nenek moyang mereka. Hal ini menjadikan Islam Jawa menjadi pembahasan menarik bagi para peneliti budaya. Artikel ini membahas serba-serbi Islam dan penyebarannya di tanah Jawa. Mulai dari proses dakwah hingga ajaran Islam yang dikaitkan dengan falsafah Jawa. Bagaimana para penyebar Islam harus bertoleransi dengan berbagai ajaran mistis dan mengubah sedikit demi sedikit kepercayaan penduduknya.

Abstract

Research on sexual harassment is becoming a hot topic because data shows that crimes of sexual harassment are increasing every day. This study aims to show the form of patriarchy and the impact of patriarchy in the film Penyalin Cahaya using radical feminism theory. The researcher uses a qualitative descriptive research method with the primary data source of the film Penyalin Cahaya. Data collection techniques are carried out by listening to and recording related data. The results of this study found that there were six forms of patriarchy form of modes of production, patriarchy in jobs with wages, patriarchy in the state, male violence, patriarchy in sexuality, and patriarchy in institutions. The patriarchal influence in the film Penyalin Cahaya includes positive impacts, namely hard work and solidarity, while adverse effects include losing scholarships, stealing data, and promiscuity.

Abstract

إن مهارة الكلام هي القدرة على التعبير عن الأفكار والمشاعر والمعلومات من خلال الكلمات والعبارات. تعد مهارة الكلام أحد جوانب التواصل الإنساني، وهي ضرورية للتفاعل الاجتماعي وتبادل المعلومات وبناء العلاقات. فأهداف هذا البحث هي: 1) معرفة معنى الاستراتيجية التعليمية 2) تحليل الاستراتيجية التعليمية في معهد بناء مدني بوغور. ومنهج هذا البحث هو المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. ومجتمع البحث هو الطالبات في معهد بناء مدني بوغور والمدرسات المتخصصات في تعليم مادة مهارة الكلام. ثم طريقة جمع البيانات بملاحظة الإجراءات التعليمية في الفصل ومقابلة المعلمات والاستبانة الموزعة إلى الطالبات. ونتائج هذا البحث هي: 1) إن من عناصر الاستراتيجية التعليمية هي: الهدف، الأنشطة، تخطيط الدروس، وتفعيل المشاركة الطلابية. ففي معهد بناء مدني بوغور لقد طبقت تلك العناصر. 2) والإستراتيجيات المستخدمة في معهد بناء مدني هي أولا: التعليم النشط حيث يقوم المتعلمون بالعمل معا في مجموعات صغيرة لتحقيق أهداف معينة. ثانيا: التعليم التعاوني، حيث إن المعلم يشجع على العمل الجماعي والتفاعل بين المتعلمين. ثالثا: التعليم الذاتي، حيث إنه عملية تعليم الأفراد لأنفسهم بشكل مستقل، ودون الحاجة إلى معلم أو مدرب. رابعا: الإستراتيجية الذهنية، حيث إنها عبارة عن مجموعة من التقنيات والأدوات الذهنية التي يمكن استخدامها لتعزيز الأداء العقلي والتفكير الإيجابي.

Abstract

Currently, research on natural fiber composites (NFC) for automotive applications has attracted the attention of researchers and academics. Natural fibers such as coconut fiber and wood powder are mixed with metal materials such as aluminum and copper to obtain the composite characteristics of automatic motorcycle clutch pad materials. Coconut fiber and wood powder are suitable natural materials for composites and are easily obtained from waste. Natural fiber materials with metal reinforcement into composites are expected to produce materials suitable for friction materials such as clutch pads and brake pads with a good characteristic. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the coefficient of friction, wear, and hardness of NFC materials reinforced aluminum and copper powder for the performance of automatic motorcycle clutch pads. Experiments were carried out on various compositions of aluminum and copper powder. Tribometer testing was carried out to determine the friction coefficient and wear. Hardness testing using the Vickers method and testing the performance of automatic motorbikes with a chassis dyno test. The results show that the performances of the clutch pad with NFC-reinforced aluminum and copper show power and torque results that resemble the performances of genuine part materials in each operating cycle. The value of friction coefficient, wear, and hardness of this material are a value close to that of a genuine part clutch pad material. The improved performance of this material is expected to be considered in the manufacture of future clutch pads.

Abstract

The impact of not optimal waste management in Jakamulya Urban Village, Bekasi City, which is always flooded by garbage and Situ Wo which cannot hold water. Efforts to manage waste from its source have been made with waste banks but have not been optimal. The objective of the Regional Partnership Program (PKW) with Bekasi City is to increase community participation in waste management with the 3R concept (reuse, recycle, reduce). Based on the results of implementing the PKW program, it can be concluded that the operation of the Mutiara Waste Bank in Pondok Suryamandala, Jakamulya Village, Bekasi City based on TPS 3R is the key to handling community-based (communal) waste which is very effective for waste management that is directly the community as a plus manager (home industry owner). Without this communal system, it is impossible for waste to be handled completely or sustainably. Cultivating good waste disposal methods starting from the household environment to submitting waste to the Waste Bank is an effective method at the community level that will ultimately be independent of the community in managing their own waste. Organizing TPS 3R into a center for the maximum utilization of organic and inorganic waste is a communal-based waste management program that will definitely cut the chain of waste distribution from TPS 3R to landfills.

Abstract

This article explores the historical circulation of Ottoman Turkey, highlighting the significant transition from a dynastic system of government to the establishment of the Turkish Republic in 1923. The Ottoman dynasty, which was originally a vast and influential empire, underwent dramatic changes during the 20th century. The main focus was on the post-World War I period when radical reforms were implemented to address internal and external challenges. This analysis covers socio-political aspects, tracing the changes that overhauled the structure of the feudal empire into a modern republican state. The method used is by using a method of literature study or library research related to historical or other similar themes. Based on the theory of the History of Islamic Civilization. As for data collection analyzing historical texts, collecting relevant data, and describing them. The results of this paper reveal that: First, every Kingdom will inevitably experience triumphs and setbacks, for a civilization is inseparable from it. Second, Ottoman Turkey was one of the influential dynasties of world civilization, and it was also crowned as the heir to the Islamic caliphate. Third, the Ottoman Turks underwent significant changes in terms of culture, socio-politics, economy, and others. The setback he experienced led to the secularization of Turkey which began as a dynastic state or caliphate into a republic. This was none other than triggered by the political factors of power that were in the hands of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Abstract

The establishment of OJK is to organize an overall supervisory and regulatory system, especially in financial sector activities, both in non-bank and banking institutions. OJK has three objectives, namely creating a financial services sector that is contributive to equal distribution of wealth, creating a financial services sector that is stable, foreign-powered, and realizing financial services that are inclusive for society by providing credible protection to the consumers. This study aims to find out what regulations are issued by the Financial Services Authority institutions to protect the consumers who use peer to peer lending services and what sanctions are issued by the Financial Services Authority institutions if the perpetrators of financial services violate the provisions in the Financial Services Authority regulations. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach.In this case the Financial Services Authority issues regulations concerning the Consumer Protection in the Financial Services Sector. And if a financial service actor violates or does not comply with the regulations made by OJK, he will receive sanctions as stated in the regulation Number: 1/POJK.07/2013, if a financial service actor violates the provisions in OJK regulations, he will be subject to administrative sanctions, namely written regulations, Fines or paying a certain amount of money, Limitation of business activities, Freezing of business activities, as well as revocation of licenses for business activities. Keywords: Role, OJK, Protection, Consumers, Sharia Maqasid.
