Abstract

Nowadays manpower as a human resource has a very important role because the performance of employees as human resources can affect other factors. Realizing that humans are a determining factor and become the center of attention in every operational activity, a company or an agency is required to manage human resources so that the expected goals can be achieved through an orientation on the use of human resources effectively and efficiently. This research is using a quantitative approach. To collect the research data, primary data collection was used through questionnaires. A questionnaire is a research instrument consisting of a series of questions (or other types of prompts) for the purpose of gathering information from respondents. From the results above Education are not able to influence Employee Achievement at Sam Ratulangi University, while Income and experience are able to influence Employee Achievement at Sam Ratulangi University. This test shows that together Income and Experience on employee may affect the employee achievement at Sam Ratulangi University. For the next writer is expected to add other variables for used as an indicator in further research. This is because it still is variables that affect work performance that have not found by the author. For the next researchers also must take the approach and use other data analysis so that it will produce better research. Keywords: employee achievement, education, income, experience

Abstract

In the last two decades, tourism activities have grown rapidly to become one of the mainstays in the economic field. The most popular destination is Bunaken National Park which is believed to be one of the most beautiful marine parks in the world. This study aims to analyze the attractiveness of Manado as a tourism destination. The reason the researcher chooses this topic is because not much research on tourism has been done in recent years, including Manado. This study uses a descriptive qualitative methodology and takes seven informants who are tourists in the city of Manado and have visited Manado more than twice, both locally and internationally. Researchers conclude that attraction is a force that attracts tourists. Based on the analysis, the conclusions given in this study are Cultural Sites in Manado are the main attraction for tourists to visit Manado, access to places visited in Manado needs to be maintained so as not to lose their value, Facilities for tourists in Manado are sufficient and need to be maintained , The local community has done well in its part which will attract tourists to stay in Manado. Keyword: destination attractiveness, local community

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measures the effectiveness of differentiation strategy of brand Samsung on buying decision with the contribution of consumer perceived value. This research is a type of causal study since the purpose is to determine if one or more variables cause another variable to occur or change. This research is a quantitative method with a questionnaire as a tool to gather data and analysis Burns and Bush (2006:202) stated quantitative Research is defined as research involving the use of structured questions in which the response options have been predetermined and a large number of respondents is involved. The results of conducted test based on a questionnaire filled out by respondents stated that Samsung smartphone promotions were classified as good with an average of 3.86. Differentiation Strategy has a positive and significant influence on the Perceived Value on smartphone owners of the Samsung brand, this could be occurred because of Samsung's strategy providing differentiation in design so as to make the owners feel like they get more value as an upper-class smartphone user. Based on the results of the test, analysis, and discussion researcher found the differentiation strategy does not significantly influence Samsung smartphone purchase decisions if it’s not through value perception. Keywords: differentiation strategy, buying decision, consumer perceived value, samsung, path analysis

Abstract

The phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in Indonesia not only had an impact on the health sector but also had an impact on the country's economy. Indonesia, which is dominated by micro-enterprises, needs to pay special attention to this sector because the contribution of micro-enterprises to the national economy is quite large. The study aims to find out micro businesses survival strategies and its implementation during the corona virus pandemic. To find out the strategies and the implementations, the researcher uses the perspective, position, and plan as indicators in this study. This study uses a qualitative method with purposive sampling through in-depth interviews. This study conducted interviews with 15 businesses that classified as micro business. The findings of this study indicate that most of the informants use social media by showing the products or services, show how is the packaging of the products, giving discount, giveaway promotion, and also cooperate with online delivery providers to deliver products in order to survive during the pandemic. Informants will also continue to rely on these strategies to bounce back from crisis situation. From the results of research, it is recommended for the Government, micro businesses in Manado and future research purposes. Keywords: micro business, pandemic, corona virus, survival strategies, perspective, position, plan

Abstract

There are still many people who are loyal and do not want to switch to prepaid electricity services, this can happen because of the excess of postpaid electricity is that people do not need to get ready to buy electric pulses because the electricity is always available and also not all people especially the household sector have high incomes and must at any time have the funds to buy electricity pulse when the pulse electricity runs out. The purpose of this research is to know the comparison of customer satisfaction on prepaid electricity and postpaid electricity in Manado. This study uses quantitative research and Independent Sample T-test as a tool to analyze the data that has been collected from questionnaire that distributed to 100 respondents as sample of this research. The findings of this study show that there are differences of customer satisfaction from different users. Based on the result, the researcher provided several recommendations which are: making improvement regarding the machines which can be considered as old and change it into a new one, do evaluation regarding errors that may happen and do prevention regarding the errors, also have check and balance system regarding the amount of electricity in order to prevent shortage of power. Keywords: customer satisfaction, comparative analysis, service quality, product quality, price

Abstract

Salah satu cara perusahaan meningkatkan mutu perusahaan adalah dengan cara menerapkan prinsip-prinsip yang ada di Total Quality Management Total Quality Management (TQM). TQM merupakan suatu pendekatan yang dapat dilakukan perusahaan untuk memperbaiki mutu produk, meningkatkan produktivitas. TQM mencoba meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan melalui perbaikan secara terus menerus terhadap produk, tenaga kerja, proses dan lingkungannya.  TQM adalah sistem manajemen yang mengangkat mutu sebagai strategi usaha dan berorientasi pada kepuasan pelanggan dengan melibatkan seluruh anggota perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perspektif karyawan terhadap pelaksanaan Total Quality Management di PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Wilayah SULUTTENGGO. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penerapan Total Quality Manajemen sudah diterapkan dengan baik. Kata Kunci: total quality manajemen, pt pln (persero) unit induk wilayah suluttenggo.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSulawesi Utara merupakan salah satu provinsi di Indonesia. Guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, pemerintah Sulawesi Utara berusaha untuk meningkatkan pendapatan asli daerah melalui  sumber-sumber PAD nya yaitu pajak, retribusi, hasil pengelolaan kekayaan daerah yang dipisahkan dan lain-lain PAD yang sah yang diharapkan dan diupayakan dapat menjadi penyangga dalam membiayai kegiatan pembangunan daerahnya.  Terdapat kaitan erat antara penerimaan daerah, pembangunan ekonomi dan  kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dimana semakin tinggi penerimaan yang diterima daerah maka semakin tinggi peluang untuk membangun perekonomian daerah dan mensejahterakan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pajak daerah, retribusi daerah dan hasil kekayaan daerah yang dipisahkan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda.  Hasil penelitian menunujukan bahwa pajak daerah berpengaruh positif sangat signifikan  terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Retribusi berpengaruh negatif signifikan  terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Sulawesi utara. Pengelolaan kekayaan daerah yang sah berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan  terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Kata Kunci     : Pajak Daerah, Retribusi, Pengelolaan Kekayaan yang sah dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi  ABSTRACTNorth Sulawesi is one of the provinces in Indonesia. In order to improve the welfare of the community, the North Sulawesi government seeks to increase local revenues through its PAD sources of taxes, user charges, separated wealth management results and other legitimate PAD that is expected and sought to be a buffer in financing its regional development activities . There is a strong link between local revenue, economic development and community welfare. Where the higher acceptance received area then the higher the opportunity to build the regional economy and prosper the community. The objective of this research is to know the influence of local tax, regional retribution and the result of regional wealth which separated to economic growth in North Sulawesi Province. The analysis technique used is multiple regression. The research result that the local tax menunujukan very significant positive effect on economic growth in the province of North Sulawesi. Levies have a significant negative effect on economic growth in the province of North Sulawesi. Abstract

menganalisis Pengaruh Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan Kerja terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dan Kemiskinan di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Kemiskinan merupakan gambaran kehidupan di banyak negara berkembang yang mencakup lebih dari satu milyar penduduk dunia, kurangnya akses terhadap peluang kerja serta terbatasnya kesempatan kerja adalah salah satu karakteristik kemiskinan.  Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan salah satu indikator yang familier digunakan dalam menentukan keberhasilan suatu pembangunan. Dengan terjadinya Pertumbuhan ekonomi tentu akan berimplikasi terhadap semua sektor yang mempengaruhinya, diantaranya tingkat kemiskinan dan tenaga kerja (Todaro, 2003:21)Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan Kerja baik Laki laki maupun perempuan secara teoritis berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi maupun terhadap tingkat kemiskinan. Dari berbagai sumber bacaan antara lain jurnal dan media ilmiah maka TPAK laki lebih dominan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perutumbuhan ekonomi maupun terhadap tingkat kemiskinan.Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder urut waktu dari tahun 1997 sampai dengan 2019 sedangkan alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Jalur.Adapun temuan penelitian ini, Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan Kerja Laki laki dan Perempuan mampu memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap perkembangan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi juga TPAK laki-laki dan Perempuan mampu memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengurangan angka kemiskinan di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, sementara pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak mampu memberikan pengaruh terhadap penurunan kemiskinan yang ada di Sulawesi Utara. Kata Kunci     : Tingkat Partisipasi angkatan kerja, pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kemiskinan ABSTRACT            This study aims to analyze the Effect of Labor Force Participation Rate on Economic Growth and Poverty in North Sulawesi Province. Poverty is a picture of life in many developing countries which includes more than one billion people of the world, lack of access to employment opportunities and limited employmentopportunities are one of the characteristics of poverty. Economic growth is one indicator that is familiar to beused  in determining the success of a development. With the occurrence of economic growth will certainly have implications for all sectors that affect it, including poverty and labor levels (Todaro, 2003: 21) The level of Labor Force Participation both men and women theoretically influences economic growth and   poverty rates. From various reading sources including journals and scientific media, the TPAK for  men is more dominant and has a significant effect on economic growth and on the level of poverty.             This study uses secondary data from 1997 to 2019, while the analysis tool used is Path Analysis.             As for the findings of this study, the Participation Rate of the Labor Force for Men and Women is able to provide a positive and significant influence on the development of Economic Growth also TPAK men and Women are able to provide a positive and significant effect on reducing poverty in the Province of North Sulawesi, while economic growth is not able to influence the reduction of poverty in North Sulawesi. Keyword          : Economic Growrth, poverty and labor participation

ABSTRAK Kinerja pengelolaan keuangan sendiri tak bisa lepas dari cara pengelolaan keuangan itu sendiri, pengelolaan keuangan yang baik tentu akan dapat memaksimalkan kemampuan keuangan yang dimiliki untuk melaksanakan program-program maupun permasalahan yang menjadi prioritas pemerintah daerah masing-masing. Tentu dalam mengelola keuangan daerah yang dimiliki diperlukan tenaga-tenaga profesional dalam bentuk sumber daya manusia yang unggul dan mumpuni serta sistem informasi yang baik, untuk menciptakan kemampuan pengelolaan yang dapat diandalkan. Tentu dalam melaksanakan pengelolaan keuangan yang profesional serta menciptakan kinerja keuangan yang baik maka juga diperlukan pengendalian internal didalam menghadapi berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi perangkat daerah dalam melaksanakan tugasnya masing-masing.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengelolaan keuangan yang diukur dengan rasio efektifitas dan efisiensi terhadap kinerja keuangan pada kota-kota yang ada di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian asosiatif dengan Teknik analisis data regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan keuangan yang diukur dengan Rasio Efektifitas dan Efisiensi secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan, pengelolaan keuangan yang diukur dengan Rasio Efektifitas berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan dan pengelolaan keuangan yang diukur dengan Rasio Efisiensi berpengaruh potitif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Kata kunci: pengelolaan keuangan, efektifitas, efisiensi, kinerja keuangan ABSTRACT Financial management performance itself cannot be separated from the way of financial management itself, good financial management will certainly be able to maximize the financial capacity that is owned to implement programs and problems that are the priority of each local government. Of course, in managing regional finance, it is needed professional staff in the form of superior and capable human resources and a good information system, to create reliable management capabilities. Of course, in carrying out professional financial management and creating good financial performance, internal control is also needed in dealing with various problems faced by regional officials in carrying out their respective duties. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of financial management as measured by the ratio of effectiveness and efficiency to financial performance in cities in North Sulawesi Province. This type of research is an associative type of research with multiple linear regression data analysis techniques. The results showed that financial management measured by Effectiveness and Efficiency Ratios simultaneously had a significant effect on financial performance, financial management as measured by the Effectiveness Ratio had a positive but not significant effect on financial performance and financial management as measured by Efficiency Ratios had a positive and significant effect on performance finance. Keywords: financial management, effectiveness, efficiency, financial performance

Abstract

ABSTRAKPentingnya peran sektor pertanian dalam pembangunan nasional diantaranya sebagai penyerap tenaga kerja, menyumbang Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) serta pendorong bergeraknya sektor-sektor ekonomi lainnya. Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara adalah salah satu kabupaten yang yang di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara dengan sektor ekonomi yang memberikan kontribusi yang tinggi untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi ialah sektor pertanian dengan berbagai produk pertanian yang ada dan salah satu produk pertanian yang unggul di Kabupaten  Minahasa Tenggara ialah produk pertanian cengkih dan kelapa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  untuk mengetahui apakah produktivitas cengkih, produktivitas kelapa berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa produktivitas cengkih berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga. Produktivitas kelapa berpengaruh posifif signifikan terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga dan Pendidikan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga.Kata Kunci : Produktivitas Cengkih, Produktivitas Kelapa, Pendidikan dan Pendapatan Rumah tanggaABSTRACTThe important role of the agricultural sector in national development include absorbing labor, contributing to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and driving the movement of other economic sectors. Southeast Minahasa Regency is one of the regencies in North Sulawesi with an economic sector that provides a high contribution to economic growth is the agricultural sector with a variety of existing agricultural products and one of the superior agricultural products in Southeast Minahasa Regency is clove and coconut agricultural products . The purpose of this study was to determine whether clove productivity, coconut productivity affect household income. The research method used is multiple regression. The results showed that clove productivity had a significant positive effect on household income. Coconut productivity has a significant positive effect on household income and Education has a significant positive effect on household income. Keyword          : Clove Productivity, Coconut Productivity, Education and Household Income
