Abstract

he general objective of this research is to describe the general character educationimplementation applied in SD Muhammadiyah Baturan Karanganyar This research isdescriptive qualitative study. The sources of the research data consists of the informant, places(events), and document. Data collection technique used in this study were (1) observations(2) in-depth interviews with teachers, parents and students of SD Muhammadiyah BaturanKaranganyar. (3) Documentation. To test the validity of the data used triangulation of data andinformants. Analysis using the interactive analysis techniques that includes four components:data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results ofthis researchis: Teachers in SD Muhammadiyah Baturan have attempted to prepare learning model ofcharacter, but have not had the right model to reinforce character education to students. character, education, primary education

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the enhancement of interest and learningoutcomes of students in learning science through the Square Word strategy . This researchis Classroom Action Research ( CAR ). Teacher is as the subject of the perpetratorand the student is as the recipient of actions. Techniques of data collection are usingobservation techniques, interviews, test, and documentation. Technical analysis of thedata is using interactive analysis technique that consists of data reduction, data display,and conclusions. The results of this study showed an increase in interest and learningoutcomes of students in learning science. It can be seen from the indicators of achievementof learning interest include: participation, attention, and pleasure in learning activities.The percentage of participating students’ interest in learning activities increasedfrom 39.53 % to 86.04 %.. Students who are concerned in learning activities in the precycle of 34.88 %, increasing to 83.71 % in the second cycle . While students are happy inlearning activities in pre-cycle by 30.23 % increased to 81.39 % in the second cycle.Student learning outcomes also increased, prior to the act the learning outcomes is asmuch 37.20 % and increased to 81.39 % in the second cycle . This study suggests thatthe implementation of Square Word Strategy can increase the interest and learning inscience teaching at fifth grade students of SD Negeri 03 Jetis District of CorkKaranganyar Academic Year 2013/2014 .

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify 1) the advantages and weakness of talaqqi method in program tahfidz Al-Qur'an juz 29,30, and 2) Attempt to overcome the weakness of talaqqi method in program tahfidz Al-Qur'an juz 29,30, The type of research used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Data collection methods used in this study are the method of observation, interview and documentation. Validity of data used is triangulation method and triangulation of data source by using three step activity data analysis that is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that 1) The advantages of talaqqi method is the motivation factor and habalan memorization of students which is still less so this method is considered very suitable and effective to be applied in the madrasah and students can read and memorize the Qur'an in accordance with the rules of science that tajwid correct. The weakness of the talaqqi method is derived from its own student factors that have not mastered the science of tajwid well such as short length, pronunciation makhraj, students who are easily bored so it will be joking with friends of their own. 2) Efforts made by teachers in overcoming the weaknesses of talaqqi method is to check the reading, control the development of memorization of students, listened one by one, come to the desk students who felt still have difficulty in memorizing, and by forming homogeneous classes tailored to the level of students' memorization skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find a model of strengthening character education inelementary school environment learners Javanese culture. The specific objective of thesecond year is to formulate a model of an active character education and fun in theelementary school students then tested the cultured Javanese character education modelthat is active and fun in the cultured primary school learners Java. The main methoddeveloped in this research is descriptive - qualitative - reflective.
