Abstract

This study aims to analyze how marketing strategies can increase the number of consumers and turnover in Coffee Shop businesses in Medan City. The methods used in this study are qualitative and quantitative research. The data collection studied in this study amounted to 10 coffee shops taken from various locations. The data analysis technique used in this study is Spearman rank correlation analysis. The results of this study indicate that the product has a significant correlation with turnover and an increase in the number of coffee shop consumers in Medan City. Price has an opposite effect to the Number of Consumers, while on turnover it shows that price has an effect in the same direction as Turnover. The results of the study also show a significant relationship between price and Coffee Shop Turnover in Medan City. Location has a weak but significant effect on the Number of Consumers and turnover Coffee shop turnover in Medan City. Likewise, Promotion has a unidirectional and significant relationship between promotion and the Number of Coffee Shop Consumers. While on turnover, promotion has an opposite effect to Turnover and has a significant relationship between promotion and Coffee Shop Turnover in Medan City. The process has an effect in the same direction as the Number of Consumers, while on turnover it shows an insignificant relationship between the process and Coffee Shop Turnover in Medan City. There is an influence between HR and the Number of Coffee Shop Consumers in Medan City, while turnover shows an insignificant relationship between HR and Coffee Shop Turnover in Medan City. The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between Physical Evidence and the Number of Consumers and Coffee Shop Turnover in Medan City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kondisi agroekonomi karet rakyat di Kabupaten Mandailing Natal dan analisis keberlanjutannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama satu tahun dengan menggunakan metode Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) dan Structure Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kategori input, on-farm, off-farm, dan penunjang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan sistem agribisnis karet. Selain itu, dimensi Ekologi, Ekonomi, Sosial, dan Teknologi memainkan peran penting dalam menjaga keberlanjutan industri karet. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi para pemangku kepentingan untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan dan kelayakan ekonomi dari usaha tani karet rakyat di Mandailing Natal.

Abstract

Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan dengan fokus pada peningkatan sumber daya manusia masyarakat pedesaan melalui penyuluhan, diskusi, dan praktik langsung terkait pengembangan kreativitas, pengelolaan pertanian, serta pemanfaatan potensi lokal. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi observasi awal, koordinasi dengan perangkat desa, penyampaian materi oleh narasumber, serta sesi tanya jawab dengan masyarakat di Kutalimbaru. Pengabdian ini menemukan bahwa Pengembangan sumber daya Manusia membutuhkan waktu yang panjang serta proses pelatihan yang berkepanjangan. Hal itu karena masyarakat harus terus diberikan motivasi serta skill yang bertahan lama dalam mengembang sistem produksi dalam usaha pertanian yang kreatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui pendidikan formal dan non-formal, pelatihan keterampilan, inovasi dalam pengelolaan hasil pertanian, serta pemanfaatan sampah organik menjadi pupuk kompos. Selain itu, masyarakat juga memperoleh wawasan terkait strategi pemasaran hasil pertanian dan peluang usaha tambahan berbasis potensi desa. Kegiatan ini dapat mendorong peningkatan produktivitas, kreativitas, dan kemandirian masyarakat Desa Kutalimbaru secara berkelanjutan. Terlihat dari meningkatnya pendapatan melalui usaha pertanian dan peningkatan produk yang diperdagangkan masyarakat melalui sistem marketing secara ofline dan online.

Abstract

This study analyzes the determinants of patient satisfaction at Bangun Purba Regional General Hospital, Deli Serdang Regency through the image of the hospital destination. The determinants themselves consist of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and physical evidence. This study uses a quantitative approach through an explanatory survey to analyze one or more variables that influence other variables and the causal relationship between variables is explained by the hypothesis. This study uses primary data with a questionnaire as a research medium with 90 respondents as patient respondents at Bangun Purba Regional General Hospital, Deli Serdang Regency. The sampling technique uses purposive random sampling. The validity test shows that each variable is greater than 0.192, indicating validity. The reliability test shows reliable results with values greater than 0.60. The hypothesis test shows that each variable is greater than 0.1986. The results of the study indicate that the determinants of Service Quality variable, namely the variables of Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy, and Physical Evidence, have a positive and significant impact on Patient Satisfaction through the Image of the Hospital.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine the impact of technology accessibility on agricultural output, mediated by the quality of communication in Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra Province. This research employed a quantitative methodology, utilizing a structured survey as the principal instrument for data collection. The target demographic comprised farmers engaged in agricultural training programs and extension services, with a sample size of 123 respondents who fulfilled the inclusion criteria. This criterion mandated that respondents be active farmers engaged in the utilization of agricultural technology within their farming methods. The reason for choosing this sample was that farmers who used technology were more likely to give useful information on how communication quality affects agricultural productivity. The findings indicated that technology accessibility enhanced agricultural productivity, with communication quality serving as a crucial intermediary in facilitating comprehension and successful application of technical information. Clear, open, and two-way communication was very important for helping people modify their behavior and adopt new ways of doing things in farming. These results show that agricultural development initiatives should put more emphasis on making technology more accessible, providing training based on requirements, and developing communication skills to help farmers become more productive and secure food supplies in the long term.
