Abstract

This research aims to examine the transgender issue more comprehensively which focuses on the purpose of human benefit and welfare in terms of maqashid sharia and also human rights perspective through the understanding of hifdzul 'aql. This research is a qualitative research that uses this analysis method and uses literature study techniques in data collection. The results of this study show that transgender issues involve a complexity of social and cultural norms that differ between Muslim and non-Muslim societies. In non-Muslim countries, legal protections and health access for transgender people are rapidly growing, whereas in Muslim-majority countries, conservative views often reject gender change. Human rights play an important role in protecting transgender rights, while Maqashid Sharia principles can provide a just framework in the context of Muslim societies, emphasizing the protection of soul, mind, and honor.

Abstract

This study seeks to reconcile the conflicting viewpoints on Bitcoin by offering a Shariah-based perspective, utilizing contemporary interpretations of Quranic verses, fiqh principles, and hadith to demonstrate Bitcoin's supremacy as a currency. This study used a qualitative approach combined with normative analysis, interdisciplinary perspectives (economics and Islamic law), and a descriptive-comparative method based on David Ricardo's theory of comparative advantage to assess Bitcoin's legitimacy as a medium of exchange in Islamic economic contexts. These methodologies enable the research to address the core questions holistically, considering economic, legal, and ethical dimensions. The findings indicate that Bitcoin has attributes similar to gold, such as scarcity, divisibility, mobility, and durability, making it a suitable store of value. While institutes such as MUI and LBM NU East Java classified Bitcoin as haram owing to ambiguity, harm, and speculation, the study contends that with correct understanding, Bitcoin may be lawful under fiqh principles. Blockchain transparency reduces dharar and manipulation, providing an ethical alternative to fiat currency. Furthermore, Bitcoin's intrinsic worth is consistent with Islamic financial principles, as opposed to fiat currency's inflation and value depreciation. The researcher finds that understanding the foundations of Bitcoin can help consumers reduce gharar (uncertainty), dharar (harm), and speculation. Blockchain technology ensures transparency, prevents manipulation and abuse, and, like traditional currencies, allows for price formation based on supply and demand. These attributes highlight Bitcoin's potential as a Sharia-compliant medium of exchange that addresses fiat currency limits while also providing inflation protection.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi seharusnya menjadi salah satu jalan keluar dari masalah-masalah yang ada tetapi berkebalikan dengan hal itu semua, ternyata kecanggihan yang ada kurang mampu menumbuhkan moralitas yang baik. Dan ternyata ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang kian berkembang, menunjukkan gejala moralitas yang menurun. Degradasi moral terlihat pada anak-anak hingga remaja bahkan manusia dewasa pun banyak yang kehilangan moralitasnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan solusi bagi degradasi moral yang ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode kajian kepustakaan (library research). Pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk menggali nilai-nilai akhlak yang terkandung dalam Al-Qur'an dan Sunnah serta menganalisis relevansinya sebagai solusi krisis moral. Data primer berupa Al-Qur’an dan Sunnah, data sekunder diperoleh dari buku, artikel jurnal, dan penelitian sebelumnya yang membahas pendidikan akhlak dalam Islam dan krisis moral. Teknik Analisis Data menggunakan analisis isi (Content Analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama, penguatan nilai-nilai spiritual dengan pendidikan berbasis iman dan takwa. Kedua, pendidikan karakter berbasis kisah para Nabi dan teladan Rasulullah saw merupakan metode yang efektif dalam membangun akhlak mulia. Kisah-kisah ini memberikan gambaran nyata tentang nilai-nilai kebaikan seperti kejujuran, kasih sayang, kesabaran, dan tanggung jawab, yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Ketiga, pendidikan akhlak di lingkungan keluarga dan sekolah.

Abstract

This article discusses the transformational characteristics of educational leadership in the era of society 5.0 from an Al-Qur'an perspective. The aim of this research is to analyze the characteristics of transformational leadership and their implications for education in the era of society 5.0 from a Koranic perspective. This research uses the library research research method. In the process of interpreting verses concerning leadership in education, the author uses the maudhui (thematic) method. Meanwhile, the results of this research are that the characteristics of transformational leadership from a Koranic perspective can be carried out through deliberation as the key to openness in an educational institution, fairness, honesty and objectivity, innovation, and working together. Meanwhile, regarding the implications of educational transformational leadership in the era of society 5.0 from the Koranic perspective, it is very influential in advancing education, namely by leaders not only having good personality traits, but leaders in the current era must also be able to develop developing technology, paying attention to the social impacts that occur. in the field, and maintaining data privacy and security as a process of creating more advanced educational institutions.

Abstract

This article discusses the relevance of riba and bank interest from the perspective of Wahbah Az-Zuhaili. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, and the type of research is literature research. This research combines data collection techniques with document studies, so that data in the form of journals and books related to the thought of Wahbah Az-Zuhaili is used as a primary source in this study and refers to the work of Ibn Khaldun. The data used are related to Wahbah Az-Zuhaili's thoughts on the law of riba and the relevance between bank interest and usury. This research shows that, Wahbah Az-Zuhaili argues that bank interest is included in riba nasiah, which is prohibited because it is an addition to financial transactions without clear rewards and is only based on a delay in payment time. Wahbah Az-Zuhaili emphasized that bank interest is the same as jahiliyah usury, both large and small, and has been declared haram based on the Qur'an, Sunnah, and ijma' of the Companions. This practice is considered to be detrimental to borrowers and creates economic injustice.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to family communication patterns, particularly between parents and children. On one hand, technology facilitates access to information and communication; on the other hand, it can hinder healthy emotional interaction if not managed wisely. This community service activity was conducted in RW 11, Pejuang Subdistrict, Bekasi, with the aim of enhancing parents' understanding and skills in establishing effective communication with their children amidst the challenges of the digital era. The methods employed included socialization sessions, interactive discussions, and positive communication simulations. The results of the activity indicated an increase in parents’ awareness of the importance of guiding their children in the use of technology and the need to build open and empathetic two-way communication. The program received positive responses from the community and opened opportunities for further initiatives, such as the establishment of a digital parenting learning community.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the process and the implications of strengthening the independence character education through pesantrenpreneur at the Fadhlul Fadhlan Islamic Boarding School in Semarang. This study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were a caregiver, three administrators, and five santri who participate in pesantrenpreneur. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation, while the data analysis techniques used qualitative methods of the Creswell model. The study results show that the process of strengthening independence character education through pesantrenpreneur at the Fadhlul Fadhlan Islamic Boarding School is carried out continuously through three stages, namely providing understanding (moral knowing), instilling awareness (moral feeling), and providing examples or role models (moral action). Strengthening independence character education through pesantrenpreneur has given positive implications for the independence of santri who are increasingly strong, namely having a desire to develop, showing their activeness in taking the initiative and being able to overcome problems, being more confident and able to carry out tasks on their own, and starting to be aware of responsibility. This change is reflected in the emotional independence, values​​, and behavior of santri in everyday life, so that it can be used as provisions for future life. The importance of this research is relevant in an effort to answer the challenges of 21st-century education, where the educational process in Islamic boarding schools is required not only to be able to produce santri who are intelligent in religious knowledge, but also independent in personality.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pandangan Syekh Abu Bakar Jabir Al-Jaza’iri tentang pendidikan akhlak dalam kitabnya Minhajul Muslim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Sumber data primer adalah kitab Minhajul muslim, Sumber data sekunder yang digunakan adalah buku-buku dan jurnal penelitian yang membahas tentang konsep pendidikan akhlak serta kitab tafsir yang sifatnya sebagai pelengkap atau pendukung dari penelitian yang sedang berlangsung. Adapun teknis analisis data menggunakan metode analisis konten atau yang biasa disebut sebagai analisis isi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa yang dimaksud dengan pendidikan akhlak dalam kitab Minhajul muslim karya Syekh Abu Bakar Jabir Al-Jazairi adalah bentuk karakter yang kuat pada jiwa seseorang yang memunculkan perbuatan yang bersifat Iradiyah Ikhtiyariyah (kehendak pilihan) berupa baik atau buruk, indah atau jelek yang didapatkan melalui pendidikan. Peneliti menyimpulkan terdapat tiga aspek pendidikan akhlak dalam kitab Minhajul muslim karya Syekh Abu Bakar Jabir Al-Jazairi yaitu 1) Pendidikan Akhlak Kepada Allah SWT; 2) Pendidikan Akhlak Kepada Diri Sendiri dan 3) Pendidikan Akhlak Kepada Sesama Makhluk.

Abstract

This study explores students' perceptions of the role of grammar in developing writing skills among college students at Esa Unggul University. It highlights the complexity of writing as a skill influenced by grammatical accuracy, coherence, and students' attitudes toward grammar. Through qualitative research methods, including interviews and analysis of student writing samples, the findings reveal that students recognize grammar as essential for clarity and professionalism in writing. However, many also perceive grammar as burdensome, which can hinder their writing confidence and creativity. The study emphasizes the need for effective grammar instruction that integrates practical application within writing contexts to enhance students' writing proficiency and motivation.

Abstract

This research is based on a religious phenomenon in society where many religious practices lead to acts of intolerance (intolerance) and extremism (very extreme behavior), Ifrat (exaggeration), and Tafrith (ignoring or underestimating). Therefore, research on religious moderation is urgent and finds relevance amidst the onslaught of religious beliefs that are considered deviant. This research focuses on two objectives, namely exploring the concept of religious moderation in Allamah Kamāl Faqīh Īmānī’s Tafsīr Nūrul Qur’ān and its implications in the context of religious social life in Indonesia. This research is based on a literature review using primary and secondary sources. The method in this research is descriptive-analytical. The finding point of this research lies in the concept of religious moderation in Tafsīr Nūrul Qur’ān and its implications in the context of socio-religious life in Indonesia, that so far there has been no similar research on this theme. The results of this research can be concluded in two points as follows: first, religious moderation in Tafsīr Nūrul Qur’ān is based on the words wasaṭ (middle) and al-‘adl (fair). Wasaṭ and al-‘adl in the interpretation of Tafsīr Nūrul Qur’ān mean tawasut (moderate), tawazun (balanced), and Tasamuh (field-free). Second, the implications of religious moderation in Tafsīr Nūrul Qur’ān on religious social life can be formulated in three points; The first is the idea of ​​freedom of religion and belief, the second is building religious tolerance, and the third is building a perspective of peace and harmony among religious communities.
