Abstract

The ability to identify, reflect, and generalize mathematical concepts from previous learning experiences into new situations is known as reflective abstraction. This study intends to examine the reflective abstraction process carried out by students with disabilities in solving mathematical problems. This research is a qualitative study that employs a descriptive approach. This study involved two students with hearing impairments who were purposively selected at the middle school level in Branjangan, Jember. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and supporting documents related to the mathematical problem-solving process. The results of the study show that this reflective abstraction process varies depending on the type of disability and the students' learning experiences. Factors such as teacher support, the use of visual aids, and previous learning experiences play a significant role in student success. This study offers explanations for how students with disabilities develop their understanding and highlights the importance of adaptive and inclusive learning approaches to support them. We hope that these findings will serve as a foundation for the creation of more inclusive learning strategies, especially in teaching.

Abstract

 Terrorism as a manifestation of radicalism seems to arise and sink. The segment of radicalism is the teenagers at the high school level. This because they are the transition from childhood to adulthood. The positive thinking mindset is seen with clarity of thought and brings the pandemic phenomenon as resilience to counteract radical thought patterns. The purpose of this study is to make the pandemic period a momentum for strengthening students' religious understanding as a counter to radicalism. This study is qualitative research with a content analysis approach to social media content. The results show that there are 5 (five) ways to strengthen religious understanding as an effort to deradicalize high school students, namely: (1) Fostering logical thinking patterns wrapped in religion (science spiritualism), (2) Presentation of neutral readings so that their direction of reasoning is organized, balanced between thoughts state and religion, (3) Cultivating balance and moderate attitudes, (4) Modelling attitudes and behaviours that are easy to imitate from teachers and education leaders, (5) optimizing the role of parents to assist students in distance learning patterns, learning from home, or online learning.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase awareness of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) among rubber cord workers who process motorcycle tire waste in Sukorejo Village, Bangsalsari Subdistrict, Jember Regency. This home-based industry poses high occupational risks, such as exposure to tire dust, fine particles, hazardous chemicals, and the potential for injuries from sharp tools. Low understanding and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) exacerbate the risks of respiratory issues, skin irritation, and cuts. The method used was an interactive 3-hour session, including lectures, participatory discussions, and demonstrations on proper PPE usage. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in workers' knowledge about specific workplace risks and the importance of PPE. Additionally, the workers demonstrated strong motivation to adopt safer, healthier, and more productive work practices on an ongoing basis. The impact of this activity is expected to reduce workplace accidents and work-related illnesses while enhancing productivity in the rubber rope processing home industry. Future recommendations include regular mentoring and the provision of affordable PPE to ensure the sustainability of OSH practices in the field.

Abstract

The Wiwitan ritual is an agrarian tradition performed before the harvest as an expression of gratitude to God and ancestors. In its implementation, this ritual contains various cultural practices that contain mathematical concepts, such as patterns, geometric shapes, and measurements. Therefore, this study is geared toward investigating the ethnomathematic elements contained in the Wiwitan metik pari ritual culture in Umbulsari, Jember. A qualitative approach with ethnographic methods was used to uncover the meaning and practices of mathematics integrated into the ritual activities. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with traditional leaders and residents, and visual documentation. The findings indicate that local mathematical concepts, passed down from generation to generation, are present in the processes of preparing offerings, arranging the ritual venue, and determining the timing of implementation. These findings indicate that local culture can be a contextual learning resource that enriches mathematics learning in schools. This study recommends the integration of ethnomathematic values in the curriculum to strengthen cultural identity while increasing the relevance of mathematics learning.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to identify and describe the characteristics of dyscalculia in seventh-grade students with physical disabilities at SLB-BCD YPAC Jember. Students with physical disabilities often face dual challenges, namely physical limitations and potential specific learning difficulties such as dyscalculia. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study analyzed data from mathematics exam results, in-depth interviews with accompanying teachers, and classroom observations. The subjects were two students with physical disabilities who showed indications of learning difficulties in mathematics. The results showed clear manifestations of dyscalculia characteristics in both subjects. The main findings include: (1) difficulties in comparing and ordering numbers (numerical aspect); (2) weaknesses in visual-spatial perception for recognizing geometric shapes (geometric aspect); (3) procedural errors in basic arithmetic operations such as subtraction involving the concepts of place value and borrowing; and (4) difficulties in applying mathematical concepts to practical word problems. The conclusion of this study confirms that students with physical disabilities can exhibit complex dyscalculia profiles, which require individually tailored assessment strategies and learning interventions.

Abstract

Anak-anak merupakan kelompok usia yang paling rentan terhadap polarisasi nilai, terutama dalam lingkungan sosial yang mulai terfragmentasi. Di sisi lain, institusi sekolah dasar memiliki peran strategis dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan, toleransi, dan moderasi beragama sejak dini. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai karakter dan moderasi anak melalui rangkaian kegiatan edukatif yang dikemas dalam peringatan Hari Anak Nasional tahun 2025. Kegiatan dilaksanakan oleh Tim KKN Moderasi Beragama UIN Walisongo Semarang di SDN 1 Sidomulyo, Kecamatan Cepiring, Kabupaten Kendal, dengan sasaran seluruh siswa kelas 1 hingga 6 dan guru pendamping. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif-edukatif yang terdiri dari: upacara pembukaan, senam bersama, lomba permainan tradisional, jalan sehat keliling desa, kegiatan pembelajaran tematik, dan sholat Dzuhur berjamaah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini efektif meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa, membangun kedisiplinan, memperkuat nilai toleransi antar-teman, serta membentuk lingkungan belajar yang positif dan inklusif. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa nilai moderasi dan karakter dapat diinternalisasikan melalui media kegiatan sosial-edukatif yang menyenangkan dan partisipatif.

Abstract

Bullying di sekolah dasar telah menjadi fenomena global dengan dampak psikososial yang mengkhawatirkan; sekitar 47% siswa di berbagai negara dilaporkan mengalami perundungan, dengan sebagian besar menunjukkan gejala kecemasan, depresi, dan bahkan risiko bunuh diri. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas program “Stop Bullying” berbasis nilai moderasi beragama di SDN 1 Sidomulyo sebagai strategi preventif dan transformatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) dan melibatkan 180 siswa, guru, serta tokoh masyarakat melalui metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD), observasi partisipatif, dan aksi simbolik “Cap Tangan STOP BULLYING”. Hasil menunjukkan penurunan signifikan jumlah siswa pelaku bullying dari 20% menjadi 5% setelah intervensi dilakukan. Internalisasi nilai-nilai toleransi, anti-kekerasan, dan keberagaman berhasil membentuk kesadaran kolektif dan komitmen moral siswa terhadap budaya sekolah yang damai. Program ini tidak hanya efektif secara afektif dan simbolik, tetapi juga memperkuat karakter religius dan kebangsaan siswa sebagai fondasi ketahanan sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh Social Media Marketing Instagram, Shopping Lifestyle, dan E-WOM terhadap Purchase Intention dan Purchase Decision pada konsumen produk thrifting studi kasus pada akun Instagram @sunny.ols. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 responden yang merupakan pengikut aktif akun Instagram tersebut. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah PLS. sebuah metode analisis berbasis varians yang dapat menguji model pengukuran dan model struktural secara simultan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Social Media Marketing Instagram memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Purchase Decision dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05. Shopping Lifestyle juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Purchase Intention dan Purchase Decision, mengindikasikan bahwa gaya hidup belanja menjadi faktor penting dalam pengambilan keputusan konsumen terhadap produk thrifting. Selain itu, Ewom terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Purchase Intention dan Purchase Decision. Purchase Intention juga ditemukan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Purchase Decision. Namun berbeda dengan Social Media Marketing Instagram terhadap Purchase Intention diperoleh nilai p value sebesar 0,495 > 0,05 dan t statistik sebesar 0,683 < 1,96, maka H1 ditolak, variabel Social Media Marketing tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Purchase Intention. Artinya, meskipun konten di Instagram menarik perhatian, hal itu belum tentu langsung memicu keinginan membeli. Namun, ketika Social Media Marketing berhasil memengaruhi keputusan pembelian terlebih dahulu, barulah muncul niat untuk melakukan pembelian berulang. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa strategi pemasaran berbasis media sosial, gaya hidup konsumen, dan kekuatan opini digital memainkan peran krusial dalam mendorong minat dan keputusan pembelian produk thrifting di kalangan pengguna Instagram.

Abstract

The openness of public bodies in providing information to the public is a responsibility that must be carried out in accordance with the mandate of the KIP Law. The objectives of this research are to (1) Analyze the stages of the Pasuruan City Government Information Communication and Statistics Department in implementing the policy of UU KIP No. 14 of 2008. (2) Describe what obstacles arise in implementing the policy of UU KIP No. 14 of 2008 ( 3) Understand the success in implementing the KIP Law No. 14 of 2008 policy. This research uses a qualitative research approach, namely research that requires a deep understanding of the interactions between analyzes or concepts in depth regarding the relationships of concepts that are studied empirically. The results of this research are (1) the stages of the Pasuruan City Government Information Communication and Statistics Service in implementing the policy of the KIP Law No. 14 of 2008. (a) Identification of Strategic Issues in Efforts to Implement KIP. (b) Follow-up Plan to Encourage KIP Implementation Efforts. Abstract

This research aims to discuss the safety of online loan customers from the perspective of maqashid sharia, which aims to protect the interests and rights of individual people. In this context, maqashid sharia is a guideline to ensure that online loan products not only meet legal aspects according to the country, but must also be in line with ethics and morality as per maqashid sharia principles. The method used is library research, as it has been studied from various sources, such as previous books, laws, books and also related scientific articles. The research results show that the safety of online loan customers from a maqashid sharia perspective is very vulnerable, because online lending practices often result in injustice and economic exploitation, which is contrary to the principles of maqashid sharia. First, Hifdz Al-din emphasized the need for convenience and certainty in sharia muamalah for customers. Second, hifdz al-nafs demands an ethical and safe billing process for the physical safety of customers. Third, hifdz al-aql requires customer mental protection from detrimental withdrawal practices. Fourth, hifdz al-nasb guarantees that the collection process does not destroy the customer's family. Fifth, hifdz al-mal demands transparency of fees and fair interest. Thus, this research underlines the need for stricter regulations in the online lending industry to ensure the protection of customer rights in accordance with the maqashid of Sharia
