Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of remuneration from an Islamic perspective at Sakinah Supermarket Surabaya. The type of research that is appropriate is qualitative research. The approach used in this research is the case study method. Data collection was carried out through the stages of observation, interviews, and documentation. After data collection, data interpretation and validation were carried out. The results of this study indicate that the system and principles of wages at Sakinah Supermarket are by several Islamic principles. Remuneration is not only given in the form of money but also emphasized on support services and heart-to-heart relationships between employees. In addition, employees make work a part of worship. This can be seen from the routine activities in the form of halaqah and ease of worship. Islamic principles that have been implemented, such as fair, transparent, and equal. This study found that the wages received are a form of reciprocity for work and behavior at work. So that workers can carry out all the provisions of the company properly and precisely. Meanwhile, employers can provide opportunities for workers to be able to negotiate regarding the wages they will receive to create decent and fair wages for workers.

Abstract

For sharia financial institutions that runs their business based on the philosophy of the Qur'an and Sunnah, social performance is the basis for actors in interacting with the environment and each other. One method of reporting social performance for sharia companies is the Islamic Social Reporting Index method (ISR). However, this method is still considered inappropriate to be applied to sharia financial institutions, which requires sharia financial institutions to develop their own social strategies. This research aims to determine the strategy for achieving social performance in the Dau branch of the Kanindo Syariah cooperative and to dig deeper into the reasons why the ISR method is not suitable for application to Sharia Financial Institutions. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of the research shows that Kanindo Syariah Dau branch has a strategy consisting of collecting and dsitributing social funds internally and externally. As for the ISR method, three conclusions were obtained which are the reasons why this method is not appropriate for sharia financial institutions, (1) lack of concern for the environment, (2) lack of understanding regarding maqashid sharia, and (3) lack of suitability for the environmental theme of the institutions which operates in the financial sector. Keywords: Strategy, Social performance, Islamic Social Reporting Index, Sharia Financial Institutions, Environment.

Abstract

Poverty is one of main issues, and the solutions for which are still being worked into. Waqf emerges as an instrument to reduce poverty and at the same time to improve public wellbeing. The objective of this research is to answer the question whether waqf has some degree of impacts on the three dimensions of welfare, i.e., income, health, and education, as seen from the roles of the recipients. Here qualitative method was used to answer the question. The data was harvested via interviews and documentation, and its credibility was preserved through triangulation. This study finds that sustainable social wellbeing has been achieved although the attainment only covers the basic needs due to the small economic scale and the absence of the element of modern agribusiness, which is an effort to increase the value of the agricultural product. The inhibiting factor lies in the branch-level management caused by non-procedural system administration, the non-performance of documentation, incompetent human resource, and small business capital. The originality of this study is observable in the attempt of answering whether waqf can become a solution for attaining sustainable social wellbeing and of seeking a management that can further increase the impact of waqf on the said social wellbeing

Abstract

CMC (Clungup Mangrove Conservation) Tiga Warna merupakan sebuah kawasan wisata perikanan yang terletah dipesisir selatan Kabupaten Malang, wilayah tersebut sangat menarik untuk dikembangkan. Salah satu destinasi wisata yang ramai dikunjungi dan menjadi perbincangan hangat di kalangan wisatawan ialah pariwisata di Kabupaten Malang, khususnya wisata pantai. Kondisi kelembagaan serta perilaku pengelola fish sanctuary saat ini berjalan dengan bagus. Aturan fish sanctuary Clungup Mangrove Concervation di buat melalui konsultasi stakeholder berdasarkan pendekatan hukum positif dan hasil sosialisasi terhadap masyarakat (bottom-up planning). Disisi lain di kawasan CMC Tiga Warna juga memiliki potensi budidaya kepiting, budidaya kerang hijau dan produksi garam kristal yang sangat berpotensi untuk dikembangkan Guna menemukan bentuk pengelolaan yang tepat dalam usaha budidaya perikanan, maka diterapkanlah sistem silvofishey yang berwawasan lingkungan. Tujuan pengabdian ini diantaranya: perencanaan pengembangan ekowisata ekologis; pengembangan pontensi budidaya dengan sistem silvofishery; pemeliharaan asset ekowisata, bersih pantai dan penanaman mangrove, dan pemberdayaan keterampilan kelompok kelembagaan POKMASWAS Gatra Olah Alam Lestari. Berdasarkan diskusi yang dilakukan oleh Tim pengabdian dengan pihak pengelola CMC Tiga Warna, disimpulkan bahwa permasalahan pada kawasan CMC Tiga Warna adalah layanan jasa yang ditawarkan oleh CMC tidak cukup untuk menopang perekonomian pada masa sulit seperti pandemi COVID-19 dan sumberdaya manusia yang belum memadai. Solusi yang diberikan terhadap permasalahan yang ada pada masyarakat CMC Tiga Warna adalah sosialisasi terkait silvofishery system dengan memberikan pengertian terhadap fungsi, manfaat dan konservasi mangrove kepada masyarakat. Hal ini juga dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan rehabilitasi hutan mangrove dan budidaya kepiting di kawasan hutan mangrove.

Abstract

Koperasi Unit Desa Mina Jaya Sendang Biru merupakan koperasi yang bergerak dibidang usaha perikanan tangkap di Sendang Biru Kecamatan Sumbermanjing Wetan Kabupaten Malang. Kehadiran koperasi ini menjadi penting dalam memberikan akses modal dan pengelolaan hasil tangkap nelayan yang menjadi anggotanya. Koperasi Unit Desa Mina Jaya Sendang Biru sendiri belum menerapkan digittalisasi secara sepenuhnya dalam pengelolaan koperasi. Oleh karenanya pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk: 1. Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengelolaan koperasi berbasis digital; 2. Terbentuknya koperasi nelayan yang kuat sehingga dapat melakukan usaha dari hulu sampai dengan hilir (on farm, off farm, pengolahan, pengemasan, dan pemasaran); 3. Mendorong terwujudnya program pengembangan korporasi petani dan nelayan (KPN) dalam rangka transformasi ekonomi; 4. Menciptakan keberlanjutan koperasi. Pengabdian akan dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Malang Jawa Timur tepatnya di Koperasi Nelayan Mina Jaya Sendang Biru. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan meliputi studi banding dan penyuluhan, pelatihan digitalisasi koperasi, integrasi kinerja antara koperasi, perguruan tinggi dan nelayan, dan pembuatan media branding koperasi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengelola koperasi, nelayan, perguruan tinggi dan pemerintah untuk membangun langkah-langkah peningkatan digitalisasi koperasi guna mendorong pengembangan dan modernisasi koperasi.

Abstract

Women have potential effect to support their family economies. PKK organization is one of government women empowerment program that in reality depend on government regulation, quite strong control, and practically only used as a dasawisma saving club. On the other hand creative industry especially fashion and handicraft have big opportunity for economic development. Creative industries have become increasingly attractive for women because the activities do not interrupt the domestic area, relate to their hobbies, and do not require high capital. Therefore entrepreneurship on creative industry begins to be an alternative or even solution to increase family economies via PKK members. This means that entrepreneurship program needs to be encouraged in order to increase the potential of PKK organization.

Abstract

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is one of the most resource-intensive departments in a hospital. Patients admitted to the ICU incur, on average, three times higher costs than those in general wards. However, healthcare professionals, particularly doctors and nurses, often remain unaware of these high costs.   This study employs a qualitative research design using a case study approach. A total of seven participants were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through unstructured observations of the ICU environment and unstructured interviews with participants. Thematic analysis was then used to interpret the findings. Four key themes emerged: (1) The ICU as the last hope for survival, (2) Doctors and nurses feeling powerless over treatment costs, (3) The predominant focus of doctors and nurses on medical aspects, and (4) Sentosa Hospital: Between Regulation and Professionalism. The study was conducted at a provincial referral hospital, classified as a type A hospital and a teaching center, where patients present with complex medical conditions. This complexity often leads doctors and nurses to prioritize medical care over financial considerations. In conclusion, ICU doctors and nurses demonstrate limited awareness of the financial burden of patient care. To enhance this awareness, targeted interventions are needed to sensitize all healthcare professionals, particularly doctors and nurses, to the economic aspects of critical care.

Abstract

Industry is one of the main driving forces in the economy, this can be proven from economic data which shows the contribution of industry to economic growth. However, if we look further, the industries that existed at this time were concentrated in certain parties, giving rise to inequality, both in terms of ownership structure and the resulting economic impacts. Therefore, alternatives are needed to answer the phenomenon of industrial concentration that is occurring today. This research aims to offer a concept that can break down the concentration of control of certain parties in an industry so that there is equality in ownership and access to economic resources.

Abstract

The Indonesian government, in its capacity as a regulator, has established a Business Competition Supervisory Commission, which has the task of ensuring that competition between industrial players in Indonesia runs healthily. The results of this research are that, first, digitalization is able to influence people's trust in storing their assets in a financial institution. Second, the mapping of the market leader in the mining industry is controlled by companies operating in the bauxite and mineral sectors based on the number of assets and profit and loss owned by the company as well as the company's low expenses so that it can expand market share. Third, mapping the manufacturing industry, which experienced a significant decline in profits during the pandemic, one of which was the Garuda Indonesia Company, but in 2021 it began to experience an increase, but this is different with Telkom Indonesia, which experienced an increase in profits during the pandemic due to changes in lifestyle. online to offline.

Abstract

Literasi keuangan merupakan salah satu pokok utama dalam rangka peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat di era modern. Pengetahuan terkait pengelolaan keuangan yang baik dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mengelola keuangannya dengan baik serta membuka akses terhadap produk produk lembaga keuangan yang dapat membantu aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat. Dengan terbukanya akses keuangan, maka masyarakat dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan kekayaan finansial yang dimiliki serta dapat memperkokoh kondisi ekonomi dan keuangan untuk mejamin taraf hidup yang lebih baik di masa depan. Indonesia sebagai negara dengan penduduk muslim terbesar masih memiliki potensi yang terbuka luas dalam pengembangan ekosistem keuangan syariah. Dengan meingkatnya literasi keuangan masyarakat, khususnya keuangan syariah diharapkan kedepannya Indonesia dapat menjadi sebuah percontohan dalam mengembangkan ekonomi syariah yang modern, maju, dan berdampak baik dari sisi regional maupun global. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berfokus pada peningkatan literasi keuangan syariah pada masyarakat Kecamatan Singosari, yang merupakan salah satu wilayah Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) di Provinsi Jawa Timur.
