Abstract

The capital market sector is one area of economic activity that is expected to grow significantly following the adoption of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). As a result, integrating capital market activity in the ASEAN area must be a top priority in AEC implementation. The essential criterion for creating a seamless flow of cash and investment is the integration of ASEAN countries' capital markets. The total worth of all outstanding shares based on their normal closing price is reflected in the stock market capitalisation. A rise in the value of market capitalization indicates that the capital market is expanding. Capital flows into and out of the capital market are thought to have altered the value of foreign exchange reserves. Foreign capital market investment contributes to a balanced balance of payments. Foreign capital not only serves to cover the deficit in domestic capital that domestic savings cannot fill, but it also helps to fill the emptiness in the foreign exchange gap through asset sales.

Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to analyze the factors that most influence the caring behavior of emergency nurses in the Emergency Room (IGD) of RSUD Dr. Soetomo, Surabaya. Methods: Quantitative research using a cross sectional approach. A total of 48 respondents were recruited as research samples from 70 populations. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. Independent variables are individual factors of personality, psychological factors of motivation, and organizational factors of workload and rewards. Data analysis using SPSS version 21 with multiple logistic regression test with a = 0,05 and 95% confidence level significant. Results: The results showed that there was an influence of individual factors of personality (p=0.047), psychological factors of motivation (p=0.045), organizational factors of workload (p=0.018), and organizational factors of rewards (0.021). The largest Exp (B) value / OR is the workload organizational factor which is 26.150, which means that the perceived workload has a chance of 26.150 times affecting the caring behavior of emergency nurses. Conclusion: Individual personality factors, motivational psychological factors, workload organizational factors and rewards have a significant influence on the caring behavior of emergency nurses. However, there is one factor that most dominantly affects the caring behavior of emergency nurses is the organizational factor of workload.

Abstract

In the realm of agricultural development, the governance of seed production plays a crucial role in ensuring food security and sustainable rural development. This study delves into the characteristics and challenges encountered by seed breeders in West Sumatra, Indonesia, as they endeavor to improve seed governance for village development. Through a qualitative research approach, insights were gleaned from 25 seed-breeding farmer groups, shedding light on the intricate dynamics of seed production at the grassroots level. The backdrop of this research is framed against the backdrop of global concerns regarding food security and the pivotal role played by local communities in addressing these challenges. West Sumatra, with its rich agricultural heritage and vibrant farming communities, serves as an ideal setting to explore the complexities of seed governance in the context of village development. The findings of this study illuminate the nuanced challenges faced by seed breeders, ranging from financial constraints to resource limitations and pricing pressures. Moreover, it underscores the importance of collaborative efforts involving companies, farmers, and government agencies in devising sustainable solutions to enhance seed governance. By addressing these challenges, not only can the resilience of local farming communities be strengthened, but it also contributes to broader goals of sustainable rural development and food security. Abstract

Urban women's huge demands on fashion continue to encourage them to buy goods practically through e-commerce. However, it is not uncommon for the purchase process to tend to be impulsive. This study examines the role of cognitive and affective responses in the relationship between internal and external stimuli to e-commerce-based impulse purchases. This study involved 593 urban women living in Jabodetabek area, purchasing online through e-commerce, and the sample collection process took place from October to December 2024. This data was obtained using an online questionnaire and an analysis method in the form of regression using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) technique. The results of the study show that the utilitarian browsing  variable has a direct effect on hedonic browsing. Quality of information, visual appeal, variety of selection, navigability, product availability and trust propensity have a direct effect on online impulsive buying. The hedonic browsing  variable significantly mediated the influence of quality of information and navigability on online impulsive buying. and utilitarian browsing significantly moderated the relationship between trust propensity and self-confidence to online impulsive buying. Therefore, understanding the stimuli that can affect online purchases in e-commerce can help businesses in producing better marketing strategies and being able to personalize consumer needs with certain characteristics.
