Abstract

Seiring dengan kebutuhan siswa yang semakin kompleks. Dibutuhkan suatu cara serta strategi dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran oleh seorang guru. Salah satu terobosan penting sebagai upaya dalam rangka meningkatkan hasil belajar yang dilakukan oleh seorang guru yaitu problem solving dan problem Based Learning. Tujuan penyusunan karya ini yaitu untuk memperoleh suatu pengetahuan tentang keefektifan sistem pembelajaran problem solving dan problem Based Learning lagi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik SD. Penulisan pada karya ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Untuk itu matching pretest-post-test comparison group design bagian dari desain karya ini. 23 siswa adalah bagian dari sampel dalam karya ini dengan cara probability sampling melalui cluster sampling. Observasi dilakukan guna untuk memperdalam pengamatan kegiatan pembelajaran siswa di kelas Serta adanya suatu tes yang dilakukan di kelas dalam rangka cara penulis untuk memperoleh data. Dan kuantitatif bagian dari cara untuk mendapatkan analisa data. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat efektivitas pembelajaran tematik problembased learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pembelajaran tematik peserta didik kelas 5 SD.

Abstract

Abstract : The Implementation Of Problem-Based Learning Model In Thematic Learning For 4th Grade Students To Improve The Students’ Critical Thinking Skills. The aim of this research is to know whether the students’ thinking skills can be improved through PBL model and to know the most suitable PBL steps which can improve the critical thinking skills of 4th grade students of Koripan 01 Public Primary School, second semester, the academic year of 2018/2019. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). In conducting this research, researchers used the C. Kemmis and Robin Mc. Tanggar model which consisted of four main activities, namely planning, implementing, monitoring, and reflecting in each cycle. Subject of this research are 24 4th grade students of Koripan 01 Public Primary School. The method of collecting data is by using observation sheet containing assessment rubric. The result shows that the improvement of learning creativity in thematic learning through PBL with a comparison between cycle I to cycle II which is increasing as much as 62% of all students. Critical thinking skills are very high clarification in cycle I which has a score of 13% increasing to 75% of all students in cycle II. The steps of PBL model used to improve the students’ critical thinking are 1) orienting the student to problems, 2) organizing the students to study, 3) guiding the individual or group study, 4) developing and presenting the result, and 5) analyzing and evaluating the problem-solving process. Keyword: Critical Thinking Skills, Problem-Based Learning, Thematic for 4th grade Abstrak: Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning dalam Pembelajaran Tematik Kelas 4 Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dapat diupayakan melalui model PBL serta untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah langkah-langkah PBL yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas 4 SDN Koripan 01 semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Metode dari penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas atau sering disebut juga dengan PTK. Dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan model C. Kemmis dan Robin Mc. Tanggar yang terdiri dari empat kegiatan pokok yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi dalam setiap siklusnya. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 4 SDN Koripan 01 yang berjumlah 24 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dengan menggunakan lembar observasi berisikan rubrik penilaian. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kreativitas belajar pada pembelajaran tematik yang di lakukan melalui model PBL dengan  perbandingan antara siklus I ke siklus II yakni menigkat sebanyak 62% dari seluruh peserta didik. Keterampilan berpikir kritis klarifikasi sangat tinggi pada siklus I yaitu mempunyai skor 13% meningkat menjadi 75% dari seluruh peserta didik pada siklus II. Langkah-langkah pembelajaran PBL untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik adalah 1) mengorientasikan peserta didik kepada masalah, 2) mengorganisasikan peserta didik untuk belajar, 3) membimbing penyelidikan individu/kelompok, 4) mengembangkan dan menyajikan hasil karya, dan 5) menganalisa serta mengevaluasi proses pemecahan masalah. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Problem Based Learning, Tematik Kelas 4

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of thematic learning in SD Negeri Gendongan 02 which is less meaningful. It has an impact on low learning outcomes. Researchers choose an alternative integrated thematic learning design based on project to improve student meaningfulness and learning outcomes. This is classroom action research using the Stringer model. Research subjects involved 38 students. Data collection using questionnaires, written tests, documentation and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques uses descriptive comparative. The results showed that the meaningful learning in 1st cycle and 2nd cycle are 92.11% and 97.73%. Indonesian language learning outcomes in 1st cycle is 84.21% increasing to 86.84%. Learning outcomes of science studies in 1st and 2nd cycle are 65.79% and 84.21%. Based on the results of these research, the researsh is succesfull.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguji tingkat efektivitas model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together dan Problem Based Learning ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis tematik siswa kelas IV SD pada kelompok yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together dengan kelompok yang menerapkan model Problem Based Learning. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen Kuasi dengan menggunakan desain penelitian The Static Group Pretest – Posttest Design. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan lembar pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan Uji-t untuk mengukur dan mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis tematik kelas IV SD pada kelompok eksperimen setelah mendapat perlakuan. Hasil analisis data penelitian dengan menggunakan Uji-t diperoleh hasil nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Karena nilai sig (2-tailed) < 0,005 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD dalam pembelajaran tematik di Gugus Integritas Musuk Boyolali.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on an analysis of the needs and problems found in the SD located in Gugus Mawar, Suruh District. This study aims to develop a media, namely to determine the level of feasibility and practicality of integrated science flash card media with the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model to improve critical thinking skills in 5th grade elementary school. This research and development (Research & Development) chose a research development design using procedures that have been modified by Sukmadinata and using the ASSURE development model. Assessment questionnaire sheets for validator experts and response questionnaire sheets are used as data collection instruments. With that, expert lecturers, students and teachers of grade 5 elementary school were used as the subjects of this study. The results of this study indicate that IPA flash card media is considered feasible and practical with the acquisition of a percentage of material experts 92.7%, media experts 93.8%, and learning design 93.8%. As for the practicality of the media, it got a percentage of 79.2% from student responses and 88% from teacher responses. It can be concluded that the integrated science flash card media using the TSTS model to improve critical thinking skills for grade 5 elementary school is considered feasible and practical to apply to the learning process.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui desain bentuk dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book yang terintegrasi Model pembelajaran POEWA untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran daur hidup kupu-kupu dan katak. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) merupakan proses atau metode yang digunakan untuk memvalidasi dan mengembangkan sebuah produk. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat diambil simpulan bahwa pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Pop-Up Book Terintegrasi Model Pembelajaran POEWA Dalam Mata Pelajaran IPA Kelas V SD Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kriris Siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is designing a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in a language centre of a Buddhist college. The SOP was designed as part of the restructuring process of the language centre, aimed at regaining the language centre’s function as a language centre, not language teaching centre as it had been happening. By employing three phases of Branch’s ADDIE (2009), Analyze, Design, and Develop, the study produced an SOP of the language centre’s program that was aimed at guiding the management team to design and implement the programs in language centre based on the three areas of language centre’s activity. The data was gathered through interview, document study, and observation. It then was analyzed through data condensation, data display, and drawing and verification conclusions (Miles, Huberman, & Saldaña, 2014). The SOP focused on three kinds of programs to accommodate the diverse and complex activities the LC should have tackled as a language centre.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the School committees’ performance that include: 1) consideration of determining and implementing educational policies; 2) raising funds and other educational resources from the community; 3) supervision of education services; 4) following up on complaints, suggestions, criticisms, and aspirations for school performance in SD Negeri Tuntang 02. Data collection techniques used in this study were used technical triangulation and source triangulation. Technical triangulation conducted through interviews, observations, and also documentary studies. Researchers conducted observations, interviews, and documentary studies on the performance of School Committees in SD Negeri Tuntang 02. While in triangulation of sources, researchers conducted interviews with School Committees, Principals, and also teachers. Data analysis techniques used in this study was qualitative approach. The results of this evaluative study showed that the School Committee's performance in giving consideration to the determination and implementation of education policies in SD Negeri Tuntang 02 showed an achievement rate of 11/12 x 100% = 92%, so that it was included in the good category. School Committee performance in raising funds and other educational resources from the community through creative and innovative efforts shows the achievement rate of 3/7 x 100% = 43% so that it is included in the category of lack. The performance of the School Committee in supervising education services in SD Negeri Tuntang 02 showed an achievement rate of 7/12 x 100% = 58% so that it is included in the sufficient category. The performance of the School Committee in following up complaints, suggestions, criticisms, and aspirations as well as observations on the performance of SD Negeri Tuntang 02 showed an achievement rate of 6/6 x 100% = 100%, so that it is included in the good category.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik Kelas V dalam memahami materi Tema 8. Desain penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V SDN Gendongan 01 Salatiga yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Pemberian tindakan berupa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan media Power Point. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus, yaitu tahap Siklus I dan Siklus II. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan hasil wawancara dengan guru kelas dan studi dokumen untuk mengetahui kondisi awal siswa, serta tes tertulis untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kategori kemampuan berpikir kritis dan presentase ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik mengalami peningkatan. Hasil belajar pada materi Tema 8 berakhir dengan prosentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 93% dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik berkriteria Sangat Baik.

Abstract

The purpose of conducting this research activity is to determine the level of effectiveness of the Discovery Learning learning model in terms of the critical thinking skills of grade 5 students. The type of research used as a reference in this research is quasi-experimental research (Quasi-Experimental) with a Nonequivalent Control Group design. The population used in this study were Grade 5 students at SD Gugus Dr. Soetomo which is located in the Tengaran District area with a total population of 123 students. The sample in this study was taken based on the Random Sampling Sample technique, where the sample used was 41 students. The data collection instrument uses a rubric for assessing critical thinking skills and test questions. The data analysis technique used is comparative descriptive technique and T-test. The results of data processing show that the t-h???????????????????? value is 3.689 > ????-???????????????????? is 2.024, with a value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. Based on these data it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the application of the Discovery Learning learning model is significantly effective in cultivating the critical thinking skills of grade 5 students at Gugus Dr. Soetomo.
