Abstract

Obat memiliki kebermanfaatan yang penting dalam pelayanan kesehatan yang dapat digunakan dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Namun, industri farmasi di Indonesia masih sangat tergantung dengan bahan baku impor. Proses ekstraksi biasanya menghasilkan residu (ampas ekstraksi) berupa serbuk simplisia yang tidak digunakan lagi (limbah padat organik). Pemanfaatan residu hasil ekstraksi pada tanaman teratai putih masih sangat minim, sehingga residu dari hasil ekstraksi tanaman ini dapat diolah menjadi bahan baku pembuatan selulosa mikrokristal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan selulosa mikrokristal dari beberapa bagian pada tanaman teratai putih, kemudian dilakukan pengujian kualitas serbuk dengan Avicel PH 101 sebagai bahan baku pembanding. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bagian dari tanaman teratai putih yang memiliki kandungan α-selulosa dengan rendemen tertinggi adalah pada bagian tangkai bunga dengan rendemen sebesar 29,02% terhadap serbuk simplisia, diikuti dengan bagian tangkai daun sebesar 22,41%, bagian bunga sebesar 18,72%, dan paling rendah bagian daun yaitu sebesar 7,70%. Selulosa mikrokristal dengan rendemen tertinggi diperoleh oleh bagian daun dengan persentase rendemen sebesar 97%, diikuti dengan bagian tangkai daun sebesar 89%, bagian bunga sebesar 88%, dan rendemen terendah oleh bagian tangkai bunga dengan persentase sebesar 83%. Sifat fisik dari serbuk selulosa mikrokristal teratai putih baik pada daun, tangkai daun, bunga, maupun tangkai bunga, menunjukkan kemiripan karakteristik dengan Avicel® PH 101 sebagai baku pembanding, meliputi reaksi warna, organoleptis, kelarutan, dan pH. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, kualitas serbuk selulosa mikrokristal dari beberapa bagian tanaman teratai putih (bunga, tangkai bunga, daun, dan tangkai daun) memiliki kemiripan dengan baku pembandingnya, yaitu Avicel® PH 101.

Abstract

This research aims to see the effect of the project based learning model on the ability to understand concepts in fraction material in fourth grade elementary school. This type of research is a quantitative approach and uses a quasi-experiment method. The design in this study was a nonequivalent control group design, namely using two classes, namely class IVB as the experimental class and IVA as the control class which was obtained randomly. The experimental class will be given PjBL learning model treatment and the control class will receive conventional treatment. This study gave a pre-test to both classes before giving treatment to both classes and gave a post-test to the class after receiving treatment. Based on the results of the hypothesis test data analysis that the researchers carried out, significant independent t-test results obtained for the initial and final values ​​of the experimental class and control class were 0.027. Based on these results, a significant value of 0.027 <0.05 was obtained, so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the project based learning model on the ability to understand concepts in fraction material in class IV elementary school.

Abstract

The period under the age of five (Toddler) is the most critical phase that determines the quality of human resources. During the toddler years, the growth and development process occurs rapidly and is referred to as the golden period, which, if not nurtured properly, will experience disruptions in emotional, social, and intellectual development. One of the early detection methods for developmental screening uses the Denver Developmental Screening Test (DDST), which is one of the tests or screening methods frequently used to detect development, covering personal-social development, fine motor skills, language, and gross motor skills in children. DDST examinations can be conducted in places with growth and development monitoring activities, such as posyandu (integrated health posts) and children's play areas. This service aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of daycare caregivers regarding training methods followed by discussions. The counseling material provided includes child development, DDST, and practical DDST examination for toddlers. Previously, a pre-test was conducted and concluded with a post-test. This activity was conducted on Friday, May 17, 2024. This activity was attended by 7 participants consisting of caregivers and parents of infants at the Daycare Rumah Pelangi in Balikpapan City. From the completion of the questionnaire and pretest, it was found that all (100%) participants who attended this activity had never received health education regarding child development and child development detection using DDST. Before the training, the participants had no knowledge of DDST at all, and after the training, the participants knew how to fill out the DDST. Counseling on early detection of child development using the DDST method is very beneficial in enhancing the knowledge and skills of caregivers and parents at the Pelangi House Day Care in Balikpapan City.   Abstrak Masa di bawah usia lima tahun (Balita) adalah periode paling kritis yang menentukan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Pada masa balita proses tumbuh kembang berlangsung cepat dan dikatakan sebagai masa emas yang apabila tidak dibina dengan baik akan mengalami gangguan dalam perkembangan emosi, sosial dan kecerdasan. Salah satu Deteksi dini Skrining perkembangan menggunakan Denver Development Skrining Test (DDST) yaitu salah satu tes atau metode skrining yang sering digunakan untuk mendeteksi perkembangan yang dinilai meliputi perkembangan personal sosial, motorik halus, bahasa, dan motorik kasar pada anak. Pemeriksaan DDST dapat dilakukan di tempat dengan kegiatan pemantauan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan seperti di posyandu dan tempat bermain anak. Materi penyuluhan yang diberikan mencakup tumbuh kembang anak, DDST, dan praktik pemeriksaan DDST kepada balita. Sebelumnya dilakukan pre test dan diakhiri dengan post test. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada hari jumat tanggal 17 Mei 2024. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 7 peserta penyuluhan yang terdiri dari guru pengasuh yang ada Daycare Rumah Pelangi Kota Balikapapan. Dari pengisian kuisioner dan pretest diketahui bahwa seluruh (100%) peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini belum pernah mendapat penyuluhan kesehatan mengenai perkembangan anak serta deteksi perkembangan anak dengan DDST. Sebelum dilakukan pelatihan para peserta tidak mengetahui sama sekali DDST dan setelah dilakukan para peserta sudah mengetahui cara pengisian DDST. Penyuluhan mengenai deteksi dini tumbuh kembang anak menggunakan metode DDST sangat bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Guru Pengasuh dan orang tua di Day Care rumah Pelangi kota Balikpapan. Saran aran dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang akan datang adalah diperlukan peningkatan dan jumlah guru pengasuh yang di berikan edukasi tumbuh kembang dan deteksi.

Abstract

Building a creative & innovative business is a key strategy for facing increasingly tight market competition. One business model that can be developed using this approach is selling donuts. Donuts, being a culinary favorite among various groups, have huge market potential if managed using this method. the good one. The purpose of this research is to find out how to build a creative and innovative business through the implementation of donut sales. This research method uses a qualitative approach with literature study, by collecting and analyzing several relevant articles and books regarding the donut business. From this research the author found three discussion results, firstly understanding the definition of creative and innovative business, secondly, strategies for building a creative and innovative donut business, thirdly, capital and profits from implementing donut sales.

Abstract

Morphology is a branch of linguistics that studies the structure of words and the process of their formation. In Arabic, morphology is known as the science of al-sharf, which examines the roots of words and their formation patterns, both through inflection and derivation. The morphological process includes adding affixes (affixation), modifying word roots, and changing the structure of vowels and consonants to form new words. This research discusses basic concepts of morphology, word structure in Arabic, as well as key terms in morphological processes. The research was conducted using linguistic-based qualitative methods, using a theoretical approach and analysis of Arabic language patterns. The research results show that Arabic morphology has a close relationship between root words, lexemes, morphemes, and words as the final result. It is hoped that this research will contribute to making Arabic language learning easier, both theoretically and practically, as well as enriching linguistic literature in Indonesia.

Abstract

The triple elimination program aims to prevent transmission of HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B from mother to fetus. In 2021, 2,485,430 pregnant women were tested for HIV (50.8%), 799,586 pregnant women were tested for syphilis (16.4%), and 2,946,013 pregnant women were tested for hepatitis B (60 .3%).3 The gap between the number of HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B tests indicates that this triple elimination program is not yet a priority. This community service uses educational methods using booklet media. Activity participants are pregnant women of all trimesters and cadres. The pre-test and post-test results showed that the level of participants' understanding of Triple Elimination increased by 3.92% after education was provided through booklets. Community service activities showed positive responses from pregnant women and cadres in the discussion process regarding triple elimination problems for pregnant women. It is hoped that pregnant women can carry out triple elimination examinations, and better understand the importance of triple elimination, cadre mothers can play an active role in passing on information to prospective pregnant women and pregnant women who have not yet received information about Triple Elimination.   Abstrak Program triple elimination bertujuan untuk mencegah penularan HIV, sifilis, dan hepatitis B dari ibu kepada janin. Pada tahun 2021 ibu hamil yang melakukan pemeriksaan HIV sebanyak 2.485.430 orang (50,8%), jumlah ibu hamil dites sifilis yaitu sebanyak 799.586 orang (16,4%), dan ibu hamil dites hepatitis B sebanyak 2.946.013 orang (60,3%).3 Gaps antara jumlah pemeriksaan HIV, sifilis dan hepatitis B mengindikasikan bahwa program triple elimination ini belum semuanya menjadi prioritas. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode edukasi dengan media booklet. Peserta kegiatan adalah ibu hamil semua trimester dan kader. Hasil pre test dan post test menunjukan tingkat pemahaman peserta tentang Triple Eliminasi meningkat sebanyak 3,92% setelah di lakukan edukasi melalui booklet. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan tanggapan positif dari ibu hamil berserta kader dalam proses diskusi mengenai masalah-masalah triple eliminasi pada ibu hamil. Diharapkan ibu hamil dapat melaksanakan pemeriksaan triple eliminasi, dan lebih memahami pentingnya triple eliminasi, ibu kader dapat berperan aktif dalam meneruskan informasi kepada calon ibu hamil dan ibu hamil yang belum mendapatkam informasi tentang Triple eliminasi.

Abstract

Background: With the advancement of technology, access to information about acne vulgaris has become easier. Social media has become a key platform for influencers and doctors to educate the public about acne, which often leads acne sufferers to use social media as a reference for understanding the condition and treatment options. As a result, many individuals choose to practice self-medication based on information obtained from social media. Purpose: This study aims to examine the impact of social media on self-medication and the treatment of acne vulgaris. Methods: This is an analytical cross-sectional study conducted among high school students. The sample was selected using consecutive sampling. Data was collected through a questionnaire that assessed social media usage, self-medication practices, and treatment outcomes. Result: Among the 92 respondents who participated in this study, the following results were found: 18 respondents had a high level of social media usage, 54 respondents had a moderate level, and 20 respondents had a low level. In addition, 64 respondents expressed interest in self-medication, while 28 respondents were not interested in self-medication. The results of the acne treatment of 64 people interested in self-medication showed that eight people had significant improvement in self-medication results, 52 people had slight improvement, and four people had no improvement. The bivariate analysis shows that social media influences self-medication but does not affect treatment outcomes. Conclusion: Social media influences self-medication but does not affect the treatment outcomes of acne vulgaris.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji secara mendalam peran keluarga dalam pendidikan agama Islam anak-anak, yang menjadi landasan penting pembentukan karakter dan kepribadian sejak dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana lingkungan keluarga mempengaruhi pemahaman dan praktik agama Islam pada anak, sekaligus menelaah faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pendidikan agama di rumah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka yang sistematis, dengan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari jurnal ilmiah, buku akademis, dan artikel-artikel terpercaya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa keluarga yang harmonis, religius, dan memberikan teladan nyata melalui ibadah bersama, komunikasi terbuka, dan pembiasaan nilai-nilai moral, mampu menciptakan generasi Muslim yang berakhlak mulia dan berintegritas. Namun, tantangan muncul ketika orang tua sibuk, memiliki latar belakang pendidikan rendah, atau kurang memahami prinsip-prinsip Islam, yang berdampak pada lemahnya internalisasi nilai agama pada anak. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan peran orang tua sebagai teladan dan pendidik utama, dengan dukungan lingkungan masyarakat religius dan pemanfaatan teknologi yang bijak, guna memastikan keberhasilan pendidikan agama Islam dan pembentukan karakter generasi muda yang kokoh

Abstract

In the development of children's motor skills is also influenced by the environment, another thing is the difficulty of children in following learning, some are still accompanied and assisted by their parents, some are not confident, do not want to gather with friends, have difficulty adjusting to their environment. This study aims to determine the interaction between dance learning and music creativity learning on gross motor skills. This study uses a literature review approach, this method is an activity that examines various references and results of previous similar studies, which are useful for obtaining a theoretical basis for the problems studied by reading various books or sources. The results of the study showed an interaction between dance learning and music learning on children's gross motor skills creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in identifying multiple intelligences of early childhood at An-Nida Kindergarten, Jalan Mister No. 21, Sei Putih, Medan Petisah District, Medan City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study were group B teachers who taught 15 children (10 girls and 5 boys). Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that teachers had a fairly good understanding of the theory of multiple intelligences developed by Howard Gardner. Teachers carried out the process of identifying intelligence through observation of children's activities, analysis of work, dialogue with children and parents, and recording in a development journal. The intelligences identified included musical, kinesthetic, visual-spatial, interpersonal, logic-mathematical, linguistic, and naturalist. Teachers played an active role in following up on the identification results by providing learning stimulation that was in accordance with the child's potential. However, there were several obstacles in the identification process, such as limited measuring instruments, time, and in-depth training. This finding confirms that the role of teachers is very important in recognizing the intelligence potential of early childhood as a basis for developing holistic and child-centered learning.
