Abstract

This study aims to overcome the low critical thinking skills of students in learning Mathematics. The problem is caused by the lack of active involvement of students in the learning process. The solution applied is the use of the INGAT model, a combination of PBL, TGT, and Snowball Throwing models. This research used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method for four meetings, with the subject of 20 fourth grade students of SDN Alalak Selatan 2 Banjarmasin. Through Classroom Action Research in class IV, the results showed that critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of students have increased significantly. The INGAT learning model is proven to be effective in increasing learner engagement and learning outcomes. This research can be used as a reference or alternative in improving the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aimed to improve students' collaboration skills in Mathematics learning through the implementation of the BERSAMA model, which was a combination of Problem-Based Learning, Group Investigation, and Make a Match. The study was motivated by the low level of students' collaboration skills, which resulted from one-way, teacher-centered instruction and a lack of enjoyable learning experiences. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative approach, conducted over four sessions in fifth grade of state elementary school Teluk Tiram 5 Banjarmasin during the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through observations of students’ classroom activities and were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods, employing percentage calculations. The findings showed a significant improvement in students’ collaboration skills, increasing from 44% to 100%, categorized as “very capable,” after the application of the BERSAMA model. The study concluded that the BERSAMA model was effective in enhancing students’ collaboration skills and could serve as an alternative instructional model that promotes active and collaborative participation in Mathematics learning.

Abstract

The low level of student activity in learning, especially in IPAS content, is the focus of this study. This is because students tend to be passive and unenthusiastic during the learning process. To overcome this problem, the MERDEKA learning model was used, which is a combination of the Problem Based Learning, Student Team Achievement Division, and Make a Match models. This study aims to analyze the increase in student activity. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted over four sessions, with 10 fourth-grade students from SDN Teluk Tiram 5 Banjarmasin as subjects during the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Qualitative data was obtained through observation, while quantitative data was obtained through written tests. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and presented in the form of tables and graphs. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the aspects studied. Student activity increased from 30% to 90% with the criterion “Almost Entirely Active.” The conclusion of this study is that the MERDEKA model is effective in increasing student activity and can serve as a reference in IPAS learning.

Abstract

Students’ learning activities at schools are less active; they find difficulties understanding the materials. The learning results are low because educators have not used an effective learning model. This study aimed to improve the teaching-learning activities and the students’ learning outcomes by using GI, SAVI, and TGT models. It was conducted at grade V of SDN Madang, Kabupaten Tabalong, South Kalimantan. This research utilized Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted in 4 meetings. Data were obtained through observation sheets and evaluation tests of students’ learning outcomes. The data analysis was calculated based on the percentage scale and indicators of learning completeness. The results showed that the activities of educators scored 40 with very good criteria. It was found that 90% of students were very active, and 100% of students’ learning outcomes were complete. The conclusion was that learning through GI, SAVI, and TGT was effective. The activities of educators were very good, the students’ activities were increasing, and the learning outcomes on the water cycle material were complete

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the teacher's skills in planning and implementing HOTS learning based on an environmental approach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The data collected were analyzed by data selection techniques, data tabulation, calculating alternative answers, then describing and analyzing the data. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of HOTS learning based on an environmental approach in elementary schools in Banjar Regency, especially in Kertak Hanyar District, the High Class Gugus has not been fully implemented, this is because some teachers experience limitations in developing HOTS learning devices based on an environmental approach and sometimes experience problems obstacles in implementing HOTS learning based on an environmental approach. To compile the assessment in the form of HOTS is also constrained, because not all students are able to construct, understand, and apply their critical thinking skills, so the evaluation tool designed needs to be adapted to the needs of students.

Abstract

Post Operative Sore Throat (POST) merupakan salah satu komplikasi paling sering terjadi setelah anestesi umum dengan intubasi endotrakeal. Meskipun bersifat minor, POST dapat menurunkan kenyamanan dan kepuasan pasien terhadap pelayanan anestesi. Salah satu faktor mekanis yang berperan dalam terjadinya POST adalah tekanan cuff Endotracheal Tube (ETT), yang apabila tidak dikontrol dengan baik dapat menyebabkan iskemia dan inflamasi mukosa trakea. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tekanan cuff Endotracheal Tube dengan tingkat nyeri tenggorokan pasca general anestesi menggunakan ETT di recovery room. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel berjumlah 68 pasien pasca general anestesi menggunakan ETT yang dirawat di Recovery Room Rumah Sakit Prima Pekanbaru, dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi yang mencakup karakteristik responden, tekanan cuff ETT, dan skala nyeri tenggorokan (POST). Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Kendall’s Tau dengan tingkat signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden berjenis kelamin perempuan (51,5%), berusia 36–45 tahun (47,1%), dan mengalami lama terintubasi lebih dari 60 menit (55,1%). Sebagian besar responden menggunakan tekanan cuff 25 mmH₂O (47,1%) dan mengalami nyeri tenggorokan kategori sedang (36,8%). Analisis bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan dan kuat antara tekanan cuff ETT dengan tingkat nyeri tenggorokan pasca operasi (p = 0,001; r = 0,715). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dan searah antara tekanan cuff Endotracheal Tube dan tingkat nyeri tenggorokan pasca general anestesi. Semakin tinggi tekanan cuff ETT, semakin tinggi derajat nyeri tenggorokan yang dialami pasien

Abstract

Literasi kesehatan merupakan faktor krusial dalam pengelolaan Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 (DMT2), namun akses informasi yang kompleks sering kali menjadi hambatan bagi pasien di tingkat komunitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat literasi kesehatan dan perilaku pengelolaan penyakit pada pasien DMT2 di Gampong Karang Anyar, Kecamatan Langsa Baro, Kota Langsa melalui pendekatan edukasi berbasis komunitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan dukungan data kuantitatif sederhana. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi kuesioner literasi kesehatan, observasi partisipatif, dan wawancara mendalam terhadap 20 ibu-ibu pengajian penderita DMT2 serta 5 tenaga kesehatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki tingkat pemahaman "cukup" (45,0%), namun kepatuhan terhadap kontrol kesehatan rutin masih rendah (40,0%). Analisis tematik mengungkap bahwa penggunaan istilah medis yang rumit dan pendekatan edukasi satu arah menjadi hambatan utama. Sebaliknya, intervensi berbasis komunitas yang bersifat interaktif dan kontekstual di lingkungan informal (seperti masjid) terbukti meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman pasien. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penguatan literasi kesehatan memerlukan integrasi antara aspek medis, sosial, dan kultural untuk mendorong perubahan perilaku manajemen diri yang berkelanjutan.
