Abstract

This study explores communication experiences, motivations, and meaning within the Pemuda Pancasila community organization in Tarumajaya district, Bekasi. Using qualitative methods and Alfred Schutz's phenomenological framework, it examines internal and external communication dynamics, reasons for joining, and the significance of membership. Data collection involves interviews, observations, and document analysis, with thematic analysis focusing on communication, motivation, and meaning. The findings reveal complex communication experiences and various motivations for joining, from societal contributions to upholding Pancasila's values. The study also explores the meaning members attribute to their roles and how communication experiences influence this. This research offers valuable insights into Pemuda Pancasila members in community organizations, aiding our understanding of their role in the broader social context and informing policies supporting youth participation in community development.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe; 1) the weaknesses and strengths of learning in SD Muhammadiyah based on the challenges of technological disruption, 2) the need for teachers to improve the quality of learning, 3) the management model for improving the quality of learning that is appropriate to be applied by teachers in schools. This study uses a Research & Development design containing three main elements: 1) development model, 2) development procedure, and 3) product trial design. The development procedure goes through three stages: 1) preliminary study, 2) model development, and 3) model testing. The research results found that; 1) the weaknesses and strengths of learning at Muhammadiyah Elementary School, namely the quality of teachers is still lacking, the evaluation implementation is minimal; the design has not been implemented, the learning process is still lacking, and students lack motivation. In contrast, IT-based learning in schools has yet to be implemented. 2) Improving the quality of schools requires proper management based on the needs and challenges of the school going forward; teachers need learning modules, classifying student subject matter according to potential, and participatory learning.

Abstract

Upaya pemerintah meningkatkan pelayanan dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip tata kelola yang baik, yang diharapkan dapat memberikan pelayanan yang baik kepada masyarakat. Pengembangan model pengelolaan pelayanan publik harus didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip yang jelas dan sesuai dengan maksud dan tujuan tertentu. Model pengelolaan pelayanan publik harus mampu mengintegrasikan kepentingan masyarakat dan manajemen dalam pengembangan pelayanan yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan metode studi literatur dengan cara mengumpulkan (bahan-bahan yang berhubungan) yang bersumber dari buku, jurnal, dan sumber lainnya terkait ilmu tentang Analisis Pengembangan Model Manajemen Pelayanan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelayanan publik memenuhi kebutuhan setiap warga negara dan hak-hak berupa barang, jasa, dan pelayanan administrasi menjadi tanggung jawab negara. Prinsip umum good governance juga harus diterapkan dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik dengan menerapkan batasan dan hubungan yang jelas mengenai hak, tanggung jawab, tugas, wewenang dan keterbukaan semua pihak yang terlibat dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik. sistem pelayanan yang sesuai dengan prinsip umum dan perusahaan yang baik. Prinsip good governance adalah suatu sistem yang menerapkan pemerintahan berdasarkan model hubungan antara pemerintah, masyarakat dan kehidupan komersial atau dunia swasta ketika menciptakan administrasi publik.

Abstract

Parents are obliged to encourage and facilitate the growth of the child's ability, so that it becomes one of the provisions in wading through his adult life. So starting from an early age, many parents send their children to early childhood education, with the hope that the child can grow and develop well, especially in terms of intellectual and physical abilities. One of the curricula in kindergarten is learning to draw. This is done, as one of the relevant efforts for early childhood, to be able to optimize their visual and psychomotor intelligence. This research was conducted with the aim of looking at the effectiveness of learning to draw on the growth of visual intelligence in early childhood. So that it can be understood, that learning to draw is one of the subjects that needs to be included in the early childhood learning curriculum, because it has a positive impact on the development of children's intelligence. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with classroom action methods for early childhood students in the city of Tegal. The number of students observed was 100 people with a simple random sample technique. This research process was carried out for three months, with two actions, so that information about the effectiveness of an observation was obtained. The results of the study show that learning to draw is one of the media that is suitable for children's development, especially in terms of visuals. Because drawing itself is considered a game by the child, so without feeling like they are learning. In addition, essentially learning to draw encourages children to be able to improve their cognitive and psychomotor abilities, thereby stimulating children's creativity.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance teachers’ capacity in supporting effective parenting at MIM Jagoan Boyolali through training in communication strategies and mentoring skills. The background of this initiative stems from the observed collaboration gap between teachers and parents, which affects the optimal academic and emotional development of students. The method employed consisted of a workshop utilizing lectures, simulations, and group discussions. The results indicated that teachers gained a better understanding of the importance of parenting, effective communication strategies, and their role as mediators between the school and the family. Practical simulations improved teachers’ confidence in engaging with parents, while group discussions created a collaborative space for formulating solutions to various child education challenges. Evaluation of the activity revealed positive responses from participants and led to the initiative of establishing a regular communication forum between teachers and parents. The conclusion of this program is that synergy between schools and families significantly contributes to strengthening support for student development, although limitations in parental involvement and participant reach were noted. The implications suggest that similar programs should be expanded and accompanied by continuous mentoring strategies to optimize teacher–parent collaboration.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze how child-friendly library management can serve as a strategic approach to strengthen reading literacy in Islamic elementary education. The research was conducted at SD Al-Firdaus Surakarta, an Islamic primary school integrating literacy and moral education. Using a qualitative descriptive design with a single case study approach, data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis involving the principal, librarian, teachers, and students. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, comprising reduction, display, and conclusion drawing.The results revealed that child-friendly management was implemented through three interrelated dimensions: the physical design of the library, collaboration among teachers, the librarian, and parents, and the integration of literacy programs grounded in Islamic values. The library provided accessible reading spaces, diverse collections, and a digital library platform that increased students’ engagement and reading frequency. Collaborative literacy programs such as Gemar Baca Buku and Home Reading successfully nurtured students’ reading motivation and moral reflection.The study concludes that a child-friendly library, when managed as a holistic learning ecosystem, can significantly enhance reading literacy while aligning with the ethical and cultural context of Islamic education. This research contributes to the field of educational management by introducing a culturally responsive model that integrates global child-centered principles with local religious and pedagogical values.

Abstract

Abstract: Migration is a key component of population dynamics and plays an important role in shaping the social, economic, and spatial structures of a region. This study aims to identify and compare migration patterns across 35 regencies and cities in Central Java Province using two clustering methods: K-Means and K-Medoids. The analysis uses in-migration, out-migration, and the 2020 minimum wage (UMK) as indicators. Algorithm performance is evaluated using the Davies–Bouldin Index (DBI), and the clustering results are visualized as regional maps in R. The results show that K-Medoids outperforms K-Means, as reflected in its lower DBI value (0.9513 vs. 1.1197). K-Medoids produces four distinct regional clusters with varying demographic and economic characteristics: Cluster 1 includes urban areas with high mobility and medium wage levels; Cluster 2 consists of semi-urban regions with moderate migration and low wages; Cluster 3 represents industrial areas with high wages but low mobility; and Cluster 4 comprises economic centers characterized by the highest wage levels and substantial out-migration. These findings highlight the impact of regional economic disparities on migration patterns in Central Java and support data-driven policies for equitable development and population redistribution. Abstrak: Migrasi menjadi salah satu komponen penting dalam dinamika kependudukan yang berperan besar dalam perubahan struktur sosial, ekonomi dan distribusi penduduk suatu wilayah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengenali dan membandingkan pola migrasi di 35 kabupaten/kota Provinsi Jawa Tengah melalui penerapan dua metode klastering, yakni K-Means dan K-Medoids. Indikator yang digunakan mencakup migrasi masuk, migrasi keluar, dan Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK) tahun 2020. Evaluasi kinerja kedua algoritma dilakukan dengan menggunakan Davies Bouldin Index (DBI). Analisis dan pemetaan hasil klastering dilakukkan menggunakan software R. Algoritma K-Medoids terbukti lebih optimal daripada K-Means, karena nilai DBI yang lebih kecil (0,9513) daripada K-Means (1,1197). Metode K-Medoids membentuk empat klaster wilayah dengan karakteristik demografis dan ekonomi yang berbeda. Klaster 1 mencerminkan daerah urban dengan mobilitas tinggi dan UMK menengah, Klaster 2 menggambarkan wilayah semi-urban dengan migrasi moderat dan UMK rendah, Klaster 3 terdiri atas daerah industri dengan UMK tinggi dan mobilitas rendah, sedangkan Klaster 4 menunjukkan pusat ekonomi dengan UMK tertinggi dan mobilitas keluar besar. Perbedaan kondisi ekonomi regional memengaruhi pola migrasi di Jawa Tengah dan menjadi dasar empiris bagi kebijakan pemerataan pembangunan serta redistribusi penduduk.

Abstract

The development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) based on local potential is a crucial strategy for improving the welfare of rural communities, including MSMEs producing kerupuk rambak catfish crackers managed by the Joint Business Group (Kelompok Usaha Bersama, KUB) Rukun Makmur in Sobo Village. However, limited knowledge and skills among business actors in production processes and business management remain the main constraints on their development. This community service activity aimed to strengthen the capacity of MSME actors through community education grounded in andragogy. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a participatory design through training and production mentoring, with data collected via observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that all participants were actively involved in the production process, most participants found it easier to understand production stages through hands-on practice, and there was an observable improvement in the neatness and uniformity of the kerupuk rambak catfish products. These findings indicate that an andragogical approach is effective in supporting contextual and applied adult learning and has the potential to serve as a sustainable community education–based assistance model for village MSMEs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media video terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP Nurul Islam. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa yang disinyalir akibat kurang menariknya metode pembelajaran konvensional. Dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital, media video dipandang sebagai alternatif inovatif yang dapat menjembatani kebutuhan siswa akan pembelajaran visual dan interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif korelasional dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII, dan sampel sebanyak 35 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan dokumentasi nilai, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan bantuan SPSS versi 31 melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh item kuesioner valid dan reliabel. Uji regresi menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,992 dan koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,984, yang berarti 98,4% variasi hasil belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan media video. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa media video berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pendidik untuk mengintegrasikan media video sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kebutuhan generasi digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the student well-being profile of Generation Alpha in the context of Islamic elementary education to map the factors contributing to learning happiness. This research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a case study design involving 29 fifth-grade students at an Islamic Elementary School in Salatiga. Data were collected using a four-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics to determine the mean and percentage of achievement. The findings indicate that the overall student well-being is in the “happy” category, with a collective achievement rate of 77% and an average score of 3.04. The highest scores were recorded in “pride in achievement” (3.72) and “meaning of school for the future” (3.66), while “task independence” received the lowest score (2.00). This study concludes that while students feel happy and find meaning in their education, there is a significant need for instructional strategies that foster greater autonomy and self-efficacy.
