Abstract

Regression analysis is widely used in research. However, often in using this analysis the assumption of non-multicollinearity is not fulfilled. Handling of these problems can be done using Ridge Regression (RR) and Adjusted Ridge Regression (AR) methods. This study aims to compare the performance of RR and AR in handling multicollinearity among explanatory variables in multiple regression analysis using data simulation. The simulated data contain various multicollinearity level (ρ = 0.6, 0.8, 0.9) with of each different sample size (n = 20, 50, 100). The performance of the two methods are compared using Mean Square Errors (MSE). The result shows that the AR method and the RR method produce a smaller MSE value when the sample size used is larger. The MSE value generated by the AR method tends to be smaller than the RR method which can be seen from each data repetition used. It shows that the AR method is relatively more effective than the RR method for dealing with multicollinearity problems.

Abstract

Education and morals are two main components that cannot be separated and are interrelated, because they both have a major role in shaping human character in the future. If moral education can be implemented well, all human activities will not be in vain and the goal of moral education, changing attitudes from bad to good, can be optimal. The aim of writing this scientific work is to find out how to build good morals through moral education. This research uses a library method by collecting several books, journals, articles and other related matters to be used as reference material. Meanwhile, for data analysis, content analysis is used. This research produced the following findings: 1) the home and school environment must be improved so that children can focus and participate actively in life, 2) the main and first moral education can start from home or family life towards individual formation, 3) How to improve mental health children and avoiding negative morals can be through learning Islamic worship, 4) Preparing children to consider their rights and obligations in the home environment, 5) Parents can give children the freedom to develop their abilities and desires without restrictions or coercion. So that the best character or morals will be created. Research on the study of children's morals in the book Tarbiyah wal Akhlak by Yak'ub Faam has very broad implications, both in the context of Islamic education, developing children's character, and understanding the thinking of classical scholars. The implications of this research are theoretical, practical and policy implications.

Abstract

The “Math Adventures” program aims to improve the numeracy literacy of grade 4 students of SDN 02 Mancasan through a Problem-Based Learning approach. The program was designed using mixed methods, integrating pre-test, post-test, and interviews to evaluate its effectiveness. Interactive learning media such as flashcards, digital quizzes, and multiplication boards were used over three sessions to help students understand numerical concepts in a fun way. The results showed a significant increase in the student’s average score, from 70 in the pre-test to 83 in the post-test. In addition to improving their scores, the program also increased students’ motivation to learn mathematics and reduced their anxiety about the subject. The PBL approach effectively creates relevant, sustainable learning experiences that encourage critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. With interactive and collaborative methods, the program facilitates students’ understanding of numerical concepts and provides training teachers can adopt to create more engaging learning. This program is expected to be an innovative model that can be applied in other primary schools to holistically improve students’ numeracy literacy.

Abstract

Masalah gizi masih menjadi tantangan besar di Indonesia, terutama dalam hal stunted, wasted, dan underweight. Perbaikan status gizi menjadi salah satu fokus utama pembangunan nasional yang tercantum dalam RPJM 2020-2024, dengan target penurunan prevalensi stunted hingga 14%. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat dilakukan adalah mengelompokkan provinsi berdasarkan status gizinya untuk mendukung pengambilan kebijakan yang lebih efektif dalam menekan prevalensi masalah gizi, terutama pada kasus stunted. Metode K-Medoids digunakan untuk melakukan pengelompokan provinsi berdasarkan indikator gizi, dengan evaluasi jumlah cluster terbaik menggunakan indeks validitas Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI). Hasil analisis menunjukkan Indonesia terbagi menjadi dua cluster utama, yakni cluster pertama terdiri dari provinsi dengan status gizi yang kurang baik sebanyak 22 provinsi, sementara cluster kedua mencakup provinsi dengan status gizi yang baik sebanyak 12 provinsi. Sehingga pemerintah Indonesia perlu mengadakan edukasi kepada ibu hamil dan keluarga dengan anak balita berupa kampanye pentingnya keseimbangan gizi melalui media massa dan penggalakan pemberian ASI eksklusif selama 6 bulan pertama pada bayi lahir terutama pada provinsi dengan status gizi kurang baik. Abstract

This research intends to assess the execution The Qur’an retention program developing The moral and religious disposition of students MIS Nurul Hidayah Ketapang, located in South Lampung. The tahfidz initiative aims to embed religious principles by encouraging the practice of Qur'an memorization. A qualitative approach with an evaluative method was utilized for this study. Data gathering was carried out through observations, interviews, and document reviews, together with the study participants including the madrasah principal, tahfidz instructors, and students. The data evaluation process involved phases data compacting, presentation, validation, and conclusion formulation. The findings revealed that the tahfidz program's implementation includes the planning phase, implementation, and evaluation. This program contributes to shaping students' religious character, especially in discipline, obedience to worship, and morals. The obstacles faced include time constraints, varied motivation of students, and limited teaching staff. The solutions implemented are providing motivation, parental support, and varied learning methods

Abstract

Education in this era has a vision to connect technology, humans, and their needs, as life today is dominated by high-tech products. To support the success of Arabic language learning, several tools need to be studied, one of which is Nahwu, or as it is often referred to in linguistic studies, syntax. One of the efforts to achieve educational goals is to introduce something new in the learning process as a solution. This can be done through the application of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). The research used is descriptive qualitative, with research instruments such as observation, interviews, and documentation conducted in the Arabic Language Education Department at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. The results of this study indicate that the STEAM learning model in the Nahwu course at the Arabic Language Education Department can be applied, although some students are still not accustomed to learning using pre-tests and the short intervals between lessons, as they are used to Teacher Centerer learning. Regarding the project assignments given, the students were able to complete them thoroughly and on time for each group. Overall, the students' responses during the implementation of the STEAM learning model were very enthusiastic. Therefore, with the STEAM learning model, students were able to foster a high sense of curiosity, critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and self-confidence.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari aktivitas pengabdian ini yaitu mengadakan workshop bagi guru-guru di SDN 03 Plumbon dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran inovatif variatif. Secara tersurat, hasil pengabdian ini dinantikan mampu memajukan pemahaman serta ketrampilan guru tentang media pembelajaran, juga memperkenalkan pendekatan inovatif dan variatif dalam membuat materi pembelajaran untuk siswa SD. Luaran lain dari pengabdian ini yaitu publikasi artikel pada jurnal pengabdian masyarakat. Dalam pengabdian ini terdapat lima fase utama, mulai dari perencanaan hingga publikasi dengan mahasiswa berperan sebagai pemateri pendamping sedangkan dosen menjadi pemateri utama. Tim yang terdiri dari tiga mahasiswa dan satu dosen melaksankan workshop yang dihadiri oleh sembilan guru dan satu kepala sekolah. Workshop dilaksanakan dengan kegiatan tatap muka pada pembekalan materi. Materi workshop disampaikan melalui PowerPoint, serta diikuti praktik pembuatan media pembelajaran. Evaluasi pencapaian workshop ini didasarkan terhadap tugas yang dikerjakan. Tugas menciptakan media pembelajaran inovatif dan variatif diukur berdasarkan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa serta materi kurikulum yang diajarkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji program kerja mahasiswa KKN selama masa pengabdian yang dikhususkan dalam bidang pendidikan di Desa Suka Damai Kecamatan Muara Badak. Peran mahasiswa sangat diperlukan guna membangun kader pendidikan yang baik bagi penerus desa Suka Damai. Penelitian ini fokus pada anak-anak desa Suka Damai yang membetuhkan pendidikan lanjut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Penelitianini mengumpulkan data dengan proses observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama proses pemberian ilmu dalam pendidikan kepada anak-anak desa Suka Damai. Demikian peran mahasiswa KKN dalam bidang pendidikann yaitu melaksanakan bimbingan belajar dan melakukan proses belajar mengajar di sekolah dasar dan menengah pertama. Selain menyasar pada peserta didik, kegiatan ini juga melibatkan orang tua, guru, aparat desa, dan warga desa Suka Damai.

Abstract

Clustering merupakan metode penganalisaan data yang bertujuan untuk membuat suatu kelompok atau cluster berdasarkan tingkat kemiripian karakter tiap objek. hasil dari Clustering merupakan satu kelas dalam tingkat kemiripan yang tinggi ataupun tingkat kemiripan yang rendah pada antar kelas. Didalam penelitian ini dilakukan studi perbandingan ketiga algoritma Clustering yaitu K-means Clustering, K-Medoids Clustering dan Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering dalam pengelompokkan persediaan produk di Subdirektorat Perencanaan Sarana Prasarana dan Logistik pada PTN X yang bertujuan untuk membandingkan ketiga metode Clustering dalam mengkelompokkan data persediaan produk dengan optimal. Dari pengujian validitas nilai hasil uji validitas metode Silhoutte Coefficient yang optimal untuk membentuk cluster dari data persediaan produk ialah algoritma K-means Clustering nilai index yang didapatkan sebesar 0,52 sesuai dengan nilai Silhoutte Coefficient diantara ketiga metode hanya K-means yang nilai indexnya mendekati angka 1 yang dapat di interprestasikan bahwa nilai Silhoutte Coefficient untuk Algoritma K-means dalam kategori baik. Dari hasil uji yang telah dilakukan mendapati hasil bahwa algoritma Clustering yang terbaik ialah K-means Clustering maka dari itu akan dilakukannya analisa lanjutan untuk mengevaluasi hasil pengelompokkan data menggunakan algoritma K-means Clustering. Dari analisa lanjutan yang tlah dilakukan metode K-means Clustering berhasil membentuk 2 cluster yaitu cluster produk dalam stok rendah dan produk dalam stok tinggi.
