Abstract

Learning speaking skills is an essential aspect in Islamic boarding schools, particularly at Darul Lughah Al-‘Arabiyah wa Al-Fiqh As-Salafi Annuqayah Latee. However, many students are not motivated to develop speaking skills because they feel bored with the learning content, which hinders the process. While many studies have explored learning motivation, little research has focused on the implementation strategy of Arabic competition, especially in this pesantren. This study aims to examine the implementation strategy of Arabic competition and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its practice. A qualitative field research design with a descriptive approach was employed, using observations and interviews with mentors and students. Data were analyzed through data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the practice. The findings show that the implementation of Arabic competition consists of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Although both supporting and inhibiting factors were found, the supporting factors were more dominant in increasing students’ motivation to speak Arabic. This research contributes to the study of Arabic language learning strategies in Islamic boarding schools and offers a practical model that can be adapted to increase motivation to speak Arabic. دراسة مهارة الكلام من الجوانب المهمة في التعليم داخل المعاهد الإسلامية، خاصة في دار اللغة العربية والفقه السلفي النقاية لاتي. ومع ذلك، فإن العديد من الطلاب غير متحفزين لتطوير مهارة الكلام لأنهم يشعرون بالملل من محتوى التعلم، مما يعيق العملية التعليمية. على الرغم من وجود العديد من الدراسات التي تناولت دافعية التعلم، إلا أن القليل منها ركّز على استراتيجيات إقامة المسابقة العربية، وخصوصًا في هذا المعهد. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى دراسة استراتيجيات إقامة المسابقة العربية، بالإضافة إلى دراسة العوامل المساعدة والمعوقة في إقامتها. تم استخدام تصميم بحثي ميداني نوعي بالنهج الوصفي، من خلال الملاحظة والمقابلات مع المشرفين والطلاب. وتم تحليل البيانات عبر خطوات تقليص البيانات، وعرضها، واستنتاج النتائج للحصول على فهم شامل للممارسة. أظهرت نتائج البحث كما يلي: إقامة المسابقة العربية بدار اللغة العربية والفقه السلفي لها المراحل الثلاثة: المرحلة الاستعدادية والمرحلة الإجرائية والمرحلة التقييمية، وإقامة المسابقة العربية لزيادة الدافعية في تعلم مهارة الكلام لها العوامل المساعدة والمعوّقة، والعوامل المساعدة لها تأثير إيجابي أكثر بالنسبة من العوامل المعوّقة. تسهم هذه الدراسة في إثراء بحوث استراتيجيات تعليم اللغة العربية في المعاهد الإسلامية، وتقدّم نموذجًا عمليًا يمكن تكييفه لتعزيز دافعية مهارة الكلام في اللغة العربية.

Abstract

This study aims to develop digital science teaching materials integrated with Quranic verses, particularly those relatedto the Earth and solar system, to enhance students’ scientific literacy and foster character values aligned with thePancasila Student Profile. The research employed the Borg and Gall research and development (R&D) model, whichconsists of ten systematic stages ranging from data collection to final product implementation. The research samplecomprised 40 students, three expert lecturers, and six science teachers, selected through a non-probability samplingapproach using the convenience sampling technique. The developed digital teaching materials demonstrated a high levelof validity and were positively received by students. Their use effectively improved students’ scientific literacy, as indicatedby an N-gain score of 0.44 (medium category) and an effectiveness value of 1.120 (high category). Furthermore, theassessment of the Pancasila Student Profile revealed that 58% of students had developed cultured character traits.These findings suggest that integrating Quranic verses into digital science teaching materials not only enhances students’understanding of scientific concepts but also strengthens their internalization of religious values, thereby supportingholistic character development consistent with the Pancasila Student Profile framework.Keywords: digital teaching materials, integration of Quranic verses, science literacy, Pancasila student profile

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memilih metode yang tepat dalam meluruskan kesalahan orang lain menjadi lebih efektif, efisien dan lebih mudah dipahami khususnya di dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan, yaitu kepada peserta didik. Dengan demikian, peserta didik akan lebih mudah menerima nasihat dan termotivasi dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran karena metode tersebut menjadikan penyampaian materi lebih menarik dan bagus. Seorang guru perlu mengetahui metode dalam menyampaikan kebenaran dalam pembelajaran, agar tujuan dapat tercapai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan menggunakan model pengumpulan data interaktif dan data dikumpulkan dari sumber primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa metode Nabi Muhamamad SAW dalam menyikapi kesalahan orang lain dalam perspektif Syekh Muhammad Shalih Al-Munajjid terdiri dari dari 38 metode dalam menyikapi kesalahan orang lain. 38 metode ini jika disederhanakan dan disesuaikan dengan metode yang sudah dikenal di Indonesia,menjadi 6 metode yaitu metode nasihat, diskusi dan Tanya jawab, kisah, targib dan tarhib, perumpamaan dan keteladanan serta nilai-nilai Pendidikan Agama Islam yang terkandung pada metode Nabi Muhamamad SAW dalam Menyikapi Kesalahan Orang Lain dalam Perspektif Syekh Muhammad Shalih Al-Munajjid terdiri dari nilai pendikan aqidah atau tauhid, ahlak dan ibadah. Abstract

The reproductive ability of Holstein Friesian (FH) cows greatly affects milk yield because, however, in the lactation period, dairy cows anestrus postpartus, which is the condition where does not appear in estrus postpartus. Anestrus postpartus to uterine involution as a consequence of nutritional deficiencies. Recovery from can be this condition can be conducted by additional feeding. One of the supplementary feeds is urea multinutrient molasses block (UMMB). UMMB consists of fillers and adhesives and cement is the most used in UMMB production as an adhesive. UMMB is an additional feed using cement dairy cows health problems. Therefore, the objective of this research was to determine the effect of cement substitution with tapioca meal as an adhesive on postpartus estrus of FH cows. A total of 9 lactating FH dairy cows were divided into 3 dietary groups. Each treatment had 3 cows as replicates. The dietary treatments consisted of UMMB with 100% cement adhesive (as D0); 50% cement and 50% tapioca (D1); and 0% cement and 100% tapioca meal (D2). The parameters were postpartus estrus, estrus speed, estrus duration, estrus intensity, and estrogen hormone levels. The results revealed that the treatment had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the duration of estrus, while it had no significant effect (P>0.05) neither on postpartus estrus, estrus speed, estrus intensity, or estrogen hormone levels. Therefore, it can be concluded that tapioca meals can be used as a substitute for cement as much as 50% provides as an adhesive in UMMB production for better estrus performance.

Abstract

Lowstudent reading skills are influenced by teaching methods that lackvariety and teachers' limitations in selecting interesting reading materials. The purpose ofthis study is to improve teachers' teaching skills, student learning activities, and student reading skills by using the speed reading methodassisted by smart envelope media.This research method used a two-cycle classroom action research (CAR) conducted at Suntri Elementary School, Suntri Village, Gunem District, Rembang Regency, with 10 fourth-grade students as subjects. Data were collected through observation, tests, structured interviews, and documentation, using observation sheets, interview guidelines, and test questions as instruments. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and quantitatively to see the increase in reading ability anddescriptively and qualitatively to describe the activities of teachers and students during theaction.The results of the study showed that teachers' teaching skills improved from 80.5% in cycle I to 90.5% in cycle II. Student activity increased from 72% in cycle I to 92% in cycle II. The results of student reading ability were 70.0% in cycle I and increased to 82.8% in cycle II. Overall, the results of the research conducted over two cycles showed that the speed reading method can improve students' reading skills using smart envelope media in grade IV at SDN Suntri.

Abstract

Arabic language instruction in pesantren remains largely lecture-based and provides limited opportunities for speaking practice, creating a gap between grammatical mastery and oral communicative competence. This study examines the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) implemented through debate activities in improving speaking skills at Darul Lughah al-‘Arabiyyah wa al-Fiqh as-Salafi, Annuqayah Latee Islamic Boarding School. A quasi-experimental design with two non-randomized groups was employed: an experimental group applying PjBL–Debate and a control group engaging in conventional debate, each consisting of 15 students. Data were collected through performance-based speaking tests and observations and analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired and independent t-tests, and N-Gain scores. The findings indicate that PjBL–Debate is significantly more effective than conventional debate in enhancing students’ speaking skills. The experimental group’s mean score increased from 56.8 to 84.6 (p < 0.001) with a high N-Gain of 0.71, while the control group showed only modest improvement (N-Gain = 0.31). These results suggest that integrating PjBL with debate effectively promotes contextual, communicative, and collaborative Arabic use within the pesantren language environment, offering a practical strategy to bridge theoretical knowledge and oral proficiency.

Abstract

Self regulation is a process that activates thoughts, behaviors, and feelings that are continuous in an effort to achieve a set goal. Millennial generation is a group of young people born between 1980 and 2000 in very rapid technological developments. Reflection on self regulation in the millennial generation is very appropriate to implement, because by reflecting millennial generations it can be easier to improve selfregulation optimally. When millennials have positive regulations and are balanced with technological advances, they can form a generation that is a positive generation. By way of reflection selfregulation the millennial generation can control or manage themselves which includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, so that it can become a millennial generation that can utilize social media well.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1. Mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab prokrastinasi akademik siswa SMA 1 Gebog Kudus. 2. Mengetahui keberhasilan layanan konseling behavioristik dengan teknik behavior contract untuk mengatasi prokrastinasi siswa SMA 1 Gebog Kudus. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Studi Kasus dengan metode kualitatif yaitu metode penelitian berdasarkan pengumpulan data secara subjektif yang dialami oleh pihak yang diteliti.  Subjek yang diteliti adalah 3 siswa SMA 1 Gebog Kudus yang memiliki tingkat prokrastinasi akademik tinggi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif dengan tiga tahapan yaitu, reduksi data, paparan data, dan penyimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa prokrastinasi akademik yang dialami siswa SMA 1 Gebog Kudus dapat diatasi menggunakan layanan konseling behavioristik dengan teknik behavior contract.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1. Mendiskripsikan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik behavior contract dalam mereduksi penggunaan handphone saat pembelajaran pada siswa kelas X TKKR 1 Mejobo Kudus Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. 2. Untuk mengurangi perilaku penggunaan handphone setelah mendapat layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik behavior contract dalam mereduksi penggunaan handphone saat pembelajaran pada siswa kelas X TKKR 1 SMK PGRI 1 Mejobo Kudus Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Hasil penelitian diketahui penggunaan handphone saat pembelajaran peserta didik pada pra siklus memperoleh skor rata-rata 12 dengan kategori sering (SR), sedangkan hasil siklus I memperoleh skor rata-rata 13 dengan kategori kadang-kadang, pada siklus II memperoleh skor rata-rata 17 dengan kategori tidak pernah (TP).

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah 1. Untuk menemukan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan Self-esteem rendah pada siswa SMK PGRI 1 Mejobo Kudus, 2. Untuk teratasinya Self-Esteem rendah melalui pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy teknik Assertif Training pada siswa SMK PGRI 1 Mejobo Kudus. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK PGRI 1 Mejobo Kudus yang memiliki Self-esteem (harga diri) rendah sebanyak dua siswa (J dan SA). Dalam penelitian ini analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mendeskripsikan hasil dari mengumpulkan data oleh peneliti yaitu pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan kunjungan rumah secara mendalam sehingga nantinya mendapatkan data yang akurat terhadap permasalahan yang diteliti yaitu permasalahan tentang Self-esteem rendah. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dan analisis penelitian menunjukkan penyebab J dan SA memiliki Self-Esteem rendah disebabkan konseli J mengembangkan pemikiran yang negatif terhadap dirinya sendiri yang merasa lemah karena menjadi bahan bullyan oleh teman-temannya. Konseli SA mengembangkan pemikiran negatif terhadap teman-temannya, merasa minder karena dia berasal dari keluarga yang kurang mampu, sedangkan teman-temannya dari keluarga yang mampu. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut peneliti menggunakan pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) teknik Assertif Trainning. Dari hasil konseling kedua siswa tersebut, mereka dapat meningkatkan Self-Esteem dalam kehidupannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa tingkat keberhasilan teknik Assertif Trainning efektif digunakan untuk mengatasi Self-Esteem rendah pada siswa, sehingga siswa berkembang secara optimal. Hal ini dibuktikan adanya perubahan pola pikir maupun perasaan dan perilaku konseli. Konseli mampu meningkatkan Self-Esteem, selain itu terjadi perubahan pola pikir negatif menjadi positif dan perilaku siswa.
