Abstract

Pendidikan Diniyah formal (PDF) merupakan Lembaga Pendidikan Islam formal yang berada di lingkungan Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah. Di satu sisi, Lembaga Pendidikan ini diakui oleh pemerintah dan disetarakan dengan pendidikan formal lainnya seperti SD/MI, SMP/MTs, dan SMA/MA/MAK/SMK, sehingga lulusannya mempunyai akses untuk melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi baik di dalam maupun di luar negeri. Selain itu, lulusannya juga berhak mendapatkan pekerjaan sesuai dengan jenjang pendidikan yang diikutinya. Di sisi lain masih terdapat beberapa masalah yang nampaknya tidak sejalan dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku di Indonesia. Berangkat dari isu di atas menarik untuk diteliti dan digambarkan bagaimana implementasi kebijakan Pendidikan Diniyah Formal (PDF) yang mencakup bidang kurikulum dan pembelajaran; pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan; sarana, prasarana dan pembiayaan; pembinaan dan monitoring; dan capaian serta kendala yang dihadapi. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang dilaksanakan untuk menggali bagaimana implementasi kebijakan Pendidikan Diniyah Formal di Kalimantan Selatan dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Sedangkan untuk pengumpulan data dilakukan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di 12 lembaga Pendidikan Diniyah Formal (PDF) di Kalimantan Selatan; yaitu di Kota Banjarmasin berjumlah 2 buah, di Kabupaten Tapin berjumlah 2 buah, di Kabupaten HSU berjumlah 6 buah, dan di Kabupaten Tanah Laut berjumlah 2 buah. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Secara garis besar implementasi kebijakan Pendidikan Diniyah Formal (PDF) di Kalimantan Selatan terkait dengan kurikulum dan pembelajaran, pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, sarana, prasarana dan pembiayaan, serta pembinaan dan monitoring sudah sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku, baik Undang Undang Republik Indonesia, Peratuturan Presiden Republik Indonesia, Peraturan Menteri Agama Republik Indonesia, maupun Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Islam Kementerian Agama; (2) Dalam bidang kurikulum, PDF di Kalimantan Selatan telah menerapkan ketentuan kurikulum yang memuat mata pelajaran agama, mata pelajaran umum, dan muatan lokal. Ketentuan kurikulum yang diterapkan ini menjadikan PDF diakui dan setara dengan MI/SD, MTs/SMP, dan MA/MAK/SMA/SMK. Dalam praktiknya buku rujukan yang diajarkan kepada santri sebagian besar mengacu kepada buku rujukan yang direkomendasi oleh Kementerian Agama dan sebagiannya lagi buku rujukan yang memang sudah biasa digunakan oleh Pondok Pesantrten Salafiyah penyelenggara PDF; (3) Dalam bidang pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, PDF di Kalimantan Selatan belum sepenuhnya bisa mengikuti ketentuan perundang-undangan yang berlaku khususnya terkait dengan kualifikasi akademik ustadz/ustadzah yang mengharuskan berpendidikan Strata Satu (S-1). Sedangkan kualifikasi akademik yang mensyaratkan alumni pondok pesantren sudah bisa dipenuhi oleh PDF. Sementara itu pemenuhahn tenaga kependidikan yang tidak mengharuskan berpendidikan S1 sudah bisa dipenuhi oleh PDF; (4) Dalam bidang sarana dan prasarana, PDF di Kalimantan Selatan sudah memenuhi ketentuan perundang undangan yang berlaku, seperti ruang belajar, mushalla/masjid, tempat praktik ibadah, dan asrama tempat santri praktik berkehidupan. Hanya saja kapasitas sebagian asrama PDF tidak berbanding lurus dengan jumlah santri yang belajar, sehingga sebagian santri harus tinggal di luar asrama. Sementara itu dalam aspek pembiayaan, PDF di Kalimantan Selatan juga mengikuti ketentuan yang berlaku dalam perundang undangan, baik aspek pemasukan maupun aspek pengeluaran dan pertanggungjawaban; (5) Dalam aspek pembinaan dan monitoring terhadap pelaksanaan Pendidikan Diniyah Formal di Kalimantan Selatan, kebijakan yang dituangkan dalam perundang undangan sudah dilakulan dengan memberdayakan majelis masyaikh dan dewan masyaikh di bawah koordinasi Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Islam pada level pusat dan Kepala Bidang Pendidikan Agama dan Pendidikan Keagamaan Islam (PAPKIS) Kantor Kementerian Agama Kalimantan Selatan pada level provinsi, serta Kepala Seksi Pondok Pesantren dan Ma’had Aly pada level Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota/Kabupaten; dan (6) Penerapan kebijakan Pendidikan Diniyah Formal (PDF) di Kalimantan Selatan berdampak terhadap terbukanya akses santri mendapatkan kesempatan yang sama dengan lulusan lembaga Pendidikan formal lainnya untuk melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi baik dalam maupun luar negeri, dan berhak mendapatkan pekerjaan sesuai dengan tingkat/jenjang pendidikannya. Sementara itu kendala yang dihadapi PDF lebih terkait dengan pemenuhan ustadz/ustadzhnya yang berpendidikan minilmal Strata Satu (S-1) sesuai dengan yang disyaratkan oleh Undang Undang. Kendala lainnya adalah pemenuhan asrama santri yang terus bertambah dan memerlukan dana yang tidak sedikit.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze humanistic-based learning management in building an inclusive learning environment at one of Banjarmasin's multicultural madrasa educational institutions. This research used a qualitative case study approach, where researchers conducted interviews with 12 informants, consisting of madrasah leaders, teachers, and students, using purposive sampling techniques. Observations were carried out on managerial and learning activities at the madrasah, while documentation was carried out to complete various needs to strengthen the results of interviews and observations. Data analysis starts with data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion. The research results show that multicultural-based inclusive policies first form humanistic learning management. Second, humanistic-based learning management is carried out through needs analysis, policy development, harmonization of multiculturalism, and an inclusive learning environment. Third, continuous monitoring and evaluation. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of an educational approach that prioritizes humanistic, inclusive, and sustainable aspects of creating a learning environment that supports the holistic development of students from various cultural backgrounds.

Abstract

One of Islamic educational institutions that still exists and is acknowledged by the community and the government is Madrasah Diniyah (Islamic School) which, in the past period, was recognized as Arabic School. This institution has been strengthened by the government regulation of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 55/2007 about Religion Education and Religious Education. In line with the rapid growth of educational institutions in Indonesia in the last decade, it is important to look at the existance and the role of Madrasah Diniyah as well as its contributions in developing Indonesian Human Resource. In particular, this article is intended to have a look at its existence in the area of curriculum, teaching-learning process, and management. By using qualitative approach, 20 Madrasah Diniyahs were researched spreading in 4 regions in South Kalimantan, namely Barito Kuala, Banjar, Tanah Laut, and Hulu Sungai Tengah. The research findings indicate that the curriculum of Madrasah Diniyah in South Kalimantan varies, consisting of 1) The curriculum is in accordance with the curriculum policy of Department of Religious Affairs; 2) Adopting the curriculum of Religious Affairs Department and, at the same time, adopting essential Islamic knowledge written in Islamic-Arabic books (Malay Arab); 3) The curriculum developed by Madrasah Diniyah itself. In the context of teaching and learning process, it is conducted classically with simple media and various methods, using standard books used at Pondok Pesantren. In the context of management, Madrasah Diniyah is simply managed and still needs good administration.

Abstract

Ekonomi, dari perspektif Islam, dipahami sebagai suatu sistem yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada pemenuhan kebutuhan materi, tetapi juga berdasarkan nilai-nilai ketuhanan, keadilan, dan kemanusiaan. Prinsip tauhid menempatkan Allah SWT sebagai sumber hukum tertinggi, sehingga semua kegiatan ekonomi dipandang sebagai bentuk ibadah dan amanah yang harus dilakukan secara bertanggung jawab. Oleh karena itu, praktik ekonomi Islam harus didasarkan pada nilai-nilai moral dan etika untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan individu dan masyarakat. Al-Qur'an, sebagai sumber utama ajaran Islam, memberikan pedoman normatif mengenai kegiatan ekonomi yang adil dan berkelanjutan. Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 275–279 menekankan larangan riba karena mengandung unsur ketidakadilan dan ketidaksetaraan ekonomi, dan juga memperbolehkan jual beli sebagai kegiatan ekonomi yang adil dan produktif. Lebih lanjut, sedekah dan zakat ditekankan sebagai instrumen untuk pemerataan dan keberkahan kekayaan. Sementara itu, Surah Al-Hashr ayat 7 menekankan prinsip distribusi kekayaan agar tidak hanya beredar di kalangan orang kaya. Dengan demikian, pendidikan ekonomi dalam Al-Qur'an menekankan keadilan sosial, moralitas, dan tanggung jawab spiritual yang relevan dengan masyarakat modern.

Abstract

This community-service program aimed to raise the implementation of 12 Clean- and-Healthy-Life-Behavior (PHBS) indicators in RT 19, Sungai Nangka Village, South Balikpapan, where coverage was only 68.01 % of the 95 % national target. Using a collaborative-educative approach, lecturers and students of the Early- Childhood-Teacher-Education (PAUD) study program of Universitas Mulia accompanied residents through counseling, hands-on demonstrations, and behavioral-change monitoring. A participatory method was applied in stages: baseline survey, interactive education, proper-hand-washing practice, waste management, communal morning exercise, and a healthy-vegetable bazaar. The result was a significant improvement in PHBS practices, evidenced by winning first place in the city-level PHBS competition. The activity strengthened the university’s Tridharma role, built sustainable campus–community partnerships, and serves as a model for community-based health education. The program demonstrates that university, community collaboration effectively creates lasting healthy-behavior change.ABSTRAKProgram pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan implementasi 12 indikator Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) di RT 19 Kelurahan Sungai Nangka, Balikpapan Selatan, yang capaiannya baru 68,01% dari target nasional 95%. Melalui pendekatan kolaboratif dan edukatif, dosen dan mahasiswa Prodi PAUD Universitas Mulia mendampingi warga dengan kegiatan penyuluhan, demonstrasi praktik, dan monitoring perubahan perilaku. Metode partisipatif diterapkan secara bertahap: survei awal, edukasi interaktif, praktik cuci tangan, pengelolaan sampah, senam massal, dan bazar sayur sehat. Hasilnya, terjadi peningkatan signifikan perilaku PHBS, dibuktikan dengan meraih Juara 1 Lomba PHBS tingkat Kota Balikpapan. Kegiatan ini memperkuat peran kampus dalam Tridharma, membangun kemitraan berkelanjutan dengan masyarakat, serta menjadi model pendidikan kesehatan berbasis komunitas. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi kampus-masyarakat efektif menciptakan perubahan perilaku hidup sehat yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Islamic education data plays a central role in supporting the successful governance of Islamic educational institutions. Through data, every educational activity can be systematically recorded, from planning and implementation to evaluation. This study examines the types and characteristics of Islamic education data, encompassing four main aspects: academic data, administrative data, financial data, and religious data. The method used is a literature review, reviewing various scientific sources on Islamic education data and information management. The study results indicate that accurate, valid, and integrated data management is essential for effective and efficient decision-making in Islamic educational institutions. Furthermore, the use of information technology in data management facilitates the recording, processing, and presentation of information quickly and transparently. In conclusion, Islamic education data serves not only as an administrative tool but also as a strategic instrument in realizing superior, competitive education quality rooted in Islamic values.

Abstract

Qualitative research has methodological and epistemological characteristics that fundamentally distinguish it from quantitative approaches, particularly in understanding complex, dynamic, and meaningful social realities. This article aims to comprehensively analyze the paradigm and philosophical foundations underlying qualitative research, with an emphasis on its ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions. The research employs a literature review method by examining various scientific sources, including research methodology textbooks, national and international journals, and works related to the philosophy of science. The analysis technique used is content analysis to identify and synthesize key concepts related to the qualitative research paradigm. The results show that qualitative research is rooted in interpretive and constructivist paradigms, which view reality as plural, subjective, and constructed through social interactions and human experiences. From an epistemological perspective, knowledge is understood as the result of an interactive relationship between the researcher and the research subject, positioning the researcher as the primary instrument in the research process. Meanwhile, from an axiological perspective, qualitative research acknowledges the role of values, ethics, and the reflexivity of the researcher throughout the research process. This study is expected to strengthen the conceptual and philosophical understanding of researchers in designing and conducting qualitative research in a scientific, reflective, and responsible manner.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menyusun sebuah program pembelajaran terintegrasi yang menggabungkan konsep hidup cerdas naturalis dengan pendekatan literasi alam, serta mengembangkan modul edukatif praktis sebagai panduan bagi pendidik dan orang tua,. Urgensi kegiatan ini didorong oleh rendahnya integrasi literasi alam di satuan PAUD yang baru mencapai 34%, serta minimnya ketersediaan bahan ajar kontekstual yang mendukung kompetensi guru. Metode yang diterapkan adalah pendampingan dan lokakarya menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif-kolaboratif melalui enam tahapan sistematis, meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, pengembangan modul, sosialisasi, implementasi, monitoring, hingga refleksi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan tercapainya tiga luaran utama: tersusunnya modul edukatif praktis, meningkatnya kapasitas profesional guru dan pemahaman orang tua, serta adanya perubahan perilaku positif pada anak terkait kesadaran ekologis,. Anak-anak menunjukkan peningkatan rasa ingin tahu, kepekaan sensorik, dan empati terhadap makhluk hidup melalui kegiatan eksplorasi langsung. Pengabdian ini berkontribusi pada perkembangan ilmu pendidikan dengan menawarkan model pendidikan karakter berbasis lingkungan yang mengintegrasikan pengambilan keputusan etis dengan kecerdasan naturalistik. Secara praktis, program ini menjadi model yang dapat direplikasi untuk mendukung pencapaian Target SDGs poin 4.2 dalam mewujudkan pendidikan anak usia dini yang berkualitas dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Holistic education is an educational approach oriented toward the comprehensive development of students through the integration of intellectual, socio-emotional, moral, physical, and spiritual dimensions. This article aims to analyze the concept of holistic education from an Islamic perspective and its relevance in addressing educational challenges in the digital era. The study employed a qualitative approach through a literature review, utilizing the tahlili (analytical) method of hadith analysis and content analysis of relevant literature. The focus of the study is on the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that emphasize the integration of faith, knowledge, moral character, and social responsibility, such as the hadith on the perfection of faith measured by moral conduct, the obligation to seek knowledge, the value of social benefit, and the prophetic mission to perfect noble character. The findings indicate that Islamic education normatively emphasizes the formation of the insan kamil (the complete human being), characterized by a balance of intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and social intelligence. This concept aligns with the principles of holistic education, which position students as active subjects in a comprehensive developmental process. In the context of the digital era marked by technological advancement, robotization, and automation holistic education represents a strategic approach, as it not only equips students with 21st-century knowledge and skills but also strengthens moral values, character formation, and social responsibility. Although its implementation faces challenges, including resistance to paradigm shifts in education and unequal access to technology, the use of digital technology, distance learning, and collaboration between education and industry offers significant opportunities to reinforce sustainable and inclusive holistic education.
