Abstract

Herlyn-Werner-Wunderlich syndrome (HWWS) is a rare Müllerian duct anomaly characterized by the triad of uterine didelphys, blocked hemivagina, and ipsilateral renal agenesis. The syndrome often remains asymptomatic until after menarche, when symptoms related to haematocolpos, such as severe dysmenorrhea, become apparent. This study presents a case of a 14-year-old female who presented to the Urogynecology Department with complaints of severe dysmenorrhea. Diagnosis was confirmed through CT scan and ultrasound imaging, which revealed the typical triad of HWWS. The treatment involved the surgical incision of the vaginal septum to address the obstructed hemivagina. While HWWS is usually diagnosed after the onset of menstruation due to the development of haematocolpos, early detection during infancy could help prevent acute complications. The study emphasizes that gynecologists should consider HWWS in the differential diagnosis when patients present with cyclic pelvic pain, monthly alterations in menstrual flow, pelvic masses, or renal agenesis. Early identification and management of HWWS are crucial to prevent long-term complications.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of grade 1 students at MI Muhammadiyah Sidorejo Bandongan Magelang by applying the GBL (Game Based Learning) method on the material of Rights and Obligations. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles through the steps of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. By using qualitative and quantitative description approaches and data collection methods including interviews, observations, pre-tests, and post-tests to measure the learning outcomes of students. The results showed that the GBL method succeeded in improving students' learning outcomes. Cycle I was carried out with an average score of 74, while in Cycle II, there was a significant increase to 89. The learning outcomes of students in cycle I showed an average pre-test score of 66 with 3 students who were complete and 7 students who were not complete, while the average score of the post-test was 74 with 4 students who were complete and 6 students who were not complete. In cycle II, the average value of the post-test increased to 89 with 9 learners who were complete and 1 learner who was not complete. These results represent the success of the application of class action in improving student learning outcomes. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik kelas 1 di MI Muhammadiyah Sidorejo Bandongan Magelang dengan menerapkan Metode GBL (Game Based Learning) pada materi Hak dan Kewajiban. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus melalui langkah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskripsi kualitatif dan kuantitatif serta metode pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, pre-tes, serta post-test untuk mengukur hasil belajar dari peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode GBL berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Siklus I dilaksanakan dengan hasil perolehan nilai rata-rata sebesar 74, sedangkan pada Siklus II, terjadi sebuah peningkatan yang signifikan menjadi 89. Hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I menujukkan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 66 dengan 3 peserta didik yang tuntas dan 7 peserta didik yang belum tuntas, sementara nilai rata-rata dari post-test sebesar 74 dengan 4 peserta didik yang tuntas dan 6 peserta didik yang belum tuntas. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata post-test meningkat menjadi 89 dengan 9 peserta didik yang tuntas dan 1 peserta didik yang belum tuntas. Hasil tersebut merepesentasikan keberhasilan penerapan tindakan kelas dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara produsen beras, singkong ataupun jagung yang besar, tetapi kebutuhan penduduk yang besar menyebabkan Indonesia tidak mampu menjadi negara pengekspor, masalahnya ketahanan pangan akan lebih ditentukan pada aspek accesibility dan kontinyuitas, kesediaan pangan antar musim yang memiliki pengaruh iklim yang kuat terhadap peningkatan produksi pangan. Pada dasarnya produksi pangan merupakan salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektifitas produksi pertanian dengan cara memanfaatkan sumber daya alam dan manusia yang tersedia secara efisien dan efektif. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah peningkatan hasil produksi pertanian dengan menggunakan teknologi tepat guna penabur pupuk urea. Dengan demikian penggunaan teknologi dalam pertanian tersebut dapat meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penabur pupuk urea dengan diameter lubang 1 cm; 2 cm; 3 cm dan 4 cm. Dari alat tersebut lubang mana yang paling efektif dan efisien dalam pemberian pupuk urea. Dan berapa gram pupuk urea yang keluar dari masing-masing lubang tersebut. Analisa data menggunakan deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari ke empat lubang tersebut, maka lubang pertama atau 1 cm mengeluarkan pupuk urea seberat 12.3 gram, lubang yang kedua yaitu dengan lubang 2 cm bisa mengeluarkan pupuk urea seberat 18.3 gram; untuk lubang yang ke tiga dapat mengeluarkan pupuk urea seberat 22,6 gram, sedangkan pada lubang yang ke 4 dapat mengeluarkan pupuk urea seberat 29.3 gram. Dari ke 4 lubang tersebut yang paling efektif dan efisien adalah pada lubang yang ke 2 yaitu yang mengeluarkan pupuk urea seberat 18.3 gram, hal ini yang sangat cocok digunakan penebar pupuk urea untuk pertanian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the circular economy development policy in Magetan Regency, focusing on the leather industry and its impact on improving the community's economy, especially on Jalan Sawo, Selosari Village. The method used is a qualitative approach, which includes in-depth interviews with industry players, direct observation at the location, and analysis of documents related to the policy. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the circular economy policy not only increases community income through the creation of new jobs but also contributes to waste reduction and increased environmental awareness among the community. In addition, this study identifies challenges faced in implementing the policy, such as lack of training and technical support. Recommendations are provided to improve the effectiveness of this policy, including the need for collaboration between the government, private sector, and the community in creating a sustainable circular economy ecosystem. This research is expected to contribute to the development of better policies in the future.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed malignancy among women worldwide and a leading cause of cancer-related mortality, primarily due to its high metastatic potential. One mechanism underlying metastasis is the epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT), which enhances cancer cell mobility, invasiveness, and resistance to treatment. Vimentin, a type III intermediate filament protein, is a hallmark of EMT and plays a structural and regulatory role in cytoskeletal organization and cellular stress responses. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of a single cysteine residue at position 328 (C328) in vimentin, which functions as a redox-sensitive site influencing filament dynamics. However, the role of C328 in cancer progression remained largely unexplored. This literature review investigates the effect of a single amino acid substitution—C328 to serine (C328S)—on breast cancer cell behavior, focusing on findings published between 2020 and 2025, sourced from PubMed and Google Scholar. Evidence from MCF-7 breast cancer cell models reveals that expression of C328S-VIM induces morphological changes, cytoskeletal disorganization, and increased proliferation, migration, and invasion. Notably, C328S-VIM upregulates the long non-coding RNA XIST, which promotes EMT, estrogen independence, and stem-like properties. These findings indicate that the native C328 residue serves a tumor-suppressive function, partly through modulation of XIST activity. Overall, this review presents a novel insight into how a single amino acid mutation in vimentin can reprogram breast cancer cells toward a more aggressive and stem-like phenotype. The study highlights C328 as a potential therapeutic target and broadens our understanding of the molecular mechanisms driving breast cancer progression.

Abstract

  Payment of tuition fees is one of the important aspects of school financial management. At SMK Istiqomah Maruyung, the management of SPP payments is still done manually, which causes student non-compliance in paying on time. The purpose of the research is to improve the SPP payment model by using the C4.5 algorithm to classify the level of student compliance and identify the main factors that influence late payments. The method used is the Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) approach which includes the stages of data selection, preprocessing, transformation, data mining, and result evaluation. The research data was taken from 206 students in the 2023/2024 academic year with attributes such as parental income, number of siblings, scholarship status, and academic grade point average. The C4.5 algorithm was applied to build a decision tree model, with evaluation using five-fold cross validation. The result of this study is that the C4.5 algorithm is able to classify student compliance levels with an average accuracy of 93.55%. The main factors that influence late payment are academic grade point average, class, and parental income. Although the model is very good at predicting compliant students (precision 95%, recall 98%), it shows weakness in predicting lateness (precision 67%, recall 40%). It is concluded that the C4.5 algorithm can improve the efficiency of managing tuition payments and provide data-driven insights for policy making. With further implementation, this algorithm is expected to be adopted by other educational institutions to address similar challenges in financial management.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is pain that occurs during menstruation and can be very disruptive to daily activities. Menstrual pain is a common complaint experienced by many women and is a symptom, Adolescence is a problem of transition from puberty to adulthood or the process of growing towards mental, emotional, social and physical maturity. During adolescence, physical changes occur accompanied by changes in the reproductive organs. Dysmenorrhea in some adolescents is a torture in itself that must be experienced every month. In general, the treatment of dysmenorrhea pain is divided into two categories, namely pharmacological and non-pharmacological. One of the midwifery care that can be given to reduce menstrual pain or dysmenorrhea is acupressure. Acupressure is a massage or pressure on the meridian points of the body. The problem of menstrual pain or dysmenorrhea still occurs in many adolescent girls at the Tanjung Palas but there is no treatment to overcome it. In fact, menstrual pain or dysmenorrhea can affect the daily activities of adolescent girls including difficulty concentrating, emotional conflict, tension, anxiety, and disrupting the learning process, feeling uncomfortable, decreased activity in the learning process. Based on the problems that arise, community service activities are needed to overcome this. The activity began with an opening and pre-test, secondly the delivery of material about Acupressure to reduce menstrual pain in adolescent girls as well as the practice of doing acupressure to reduce menstrual pain, thirdly the closing and post-test which was attended by 16 adolescent girls. From these activities, it was found that there was an increase in the knowledge of adolescent girls about acupressure to reduce menstrual pain in adolescent girls.   Abstrak Dismenore adalah rasa nyeri yang terjadi saat menstruasi dan bisa sangat mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari. Nyeri haid ini merupakan keluhan umum yang dialami oleh banyak perempuan dan merupakan gejala, Masa remaja merupakan masalah peralihan dari pubertas ke dewasa atau proses tumbuh kearah kematangan mental, emosional,sosial dan fisik. Pada masa remaja terjadi perubahan fisik yang disertai dengan perubahan organ reproduksi. Dismenore pada sebagian kaum remaja merupakan siksaan tersendiri yang harus dialami setiap bulannya. Secara umum penanganan nyeri dismenore terbagi dalam dua kategori yaitu farmakologis dan non farmakologis. Salah satu asuhan kebidanan yang dapat diberikan untuk mengurangi nyeri haid atau dismenore adalah akupresure. Akupresure adalah pemijatan atau penekanan pada titik-titik meridian tubuh. Permasalahan nyeri haid atau dismenore ini masih banyak terjadi pada remaja putri di Tanjung Palas namun belum ada penanganan untuk mengatasinya. Padahal, nyeri haid atau dismenore dapat mempengaruhi aktivitas sehari-hari remaja putri diantaranya sulit berkonsentrasi, konflik emosional, ketegangan, kecemasan, dan mengganggu proses belajar, merasa kurang nyaman, penurunan keaktifan dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan masalah yang muncul, maka diperlukanlah kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. Kegiatan diawali dengan pembukaaan dan pree test , kedua penyampaian materi tentang Akupresure untuk mengurangi nyeri haid pada remaja putri sekaligus praktik melakukan akupresure untuk mengurangi nyeri haid, ketiga penutup dan post tes yang di hadiri oleh 16 remaja putri. Dari kegiatan tersebut didapatkan ada peningkatan pengetahuan remaja putri tentang akupresure untuk mengurangi nyeri haid pada remaja putri.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has significantly impacted the education sector, particularly in improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability of school management. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a Management Information System (MIS) to support School-Based Management (SBM) at STIT Al-Ihsan Baleendah. Using a descriptive qualitative case study approach, the research explores planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation of MIS in the institution. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed interactively. The findings show that MIS has accelerated academic administrative services, improved data accuracy, and facilitated data-driven decision-making. However, challenges remain, including limited infrastructure, insufficient digital literacy among staff, and lack of formal documentation. Regular evaluation and continuous improvement efforts are crucial for sustainable system performance. This study contributes to both theory and practice by providing insights into the integration of MIS and SBM in Islamic higher education contexts. Abstract

Abstract Red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.) is a leafy vegetable known for its high antioxidant potential due to its bioactive compounds. This study aimed to evaluate the antioxidant activity of extracts and fractions of red spinach leaves using the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) method. Extraction was conducted through cold maceration with ethanol 96%, followed by fractionation using solvents of varying polarity: n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and water. Phytochemical screening revealed the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, quinones, saponins, steroids, and tannins, which contribute to the plant's antioxidant properties. The antioxidant activity of the ethanol extract and fractions was assessed based on their IC50 values. The ethanol extract demonstrated moderate antioxidant activity with an IC50 of 122.09 µg/mL, while the n-hexane and water fractions showed similar moderate activity with IC50 values of 117.33 µg/mL and 124.36 µg/mL, respectively. The ethyl acetate fraction exhibited strong antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 64.77 µg/mL, attributed to the presence of semi-polar compounds such as flavonols. The results confirmed the significant free radical scavenging potential of red spinach, particularly in its ethyl acetate fraction. This study highlights the potential of red spinach leaves as a natural source of antioxidants with applications in the pharmaceutical, health, and food industries. Abstract

Learning in the 2013 curriculum uses integrated thematic learning. This causes teachers to master and carry out thematic learning well. However, there are many problems that occur, then what is the ideal of the teacher in carrying out thematic learning. This research intends to know and explain in detail about the ideals and reality of MI/SD teachers' abilities in implementing thematic learning. The results of this study are; Ideally the teacher in this thematic learning is to provide meaningful teaching and experiences to students. Not only that, a teacher in addition to being a professional educator, is also an educator, teacher, mentor, director, assessor, and evaluator of students, especially in early childhood education and basic education. There are two factors that impact on the obstacles for teachers to implement, namely: internal factors and external factors. Teachers are still lacking in comprehensive education and training; teachers also still find it difficult to integrate tactics in the learning theme.
