Abstract

The study aims to determine and analyze the effect of transformational leaders, academic culture on of the Sustainability Organization Performance  of University Lecturers in Indonesia of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) era. This study use quantitative research method with survey technique to respond the test hypotheses that have been formulated. The respondents are 150 lecturers, the sampling technique used was cluster random sampling technique. The instrument of transformational leader, academic lecture and Sustainability Organization Performance  were validated with the product moment correlation, while reliability was measured by the Alpha Cronbach. Hypothesis testing using path analysis. The results of data analysis using path analysis, showed that, (1) there is the effect of direct transformational leaders on the lecturers Sustainability Organization Performance , (2) there is the effect of direct academic culture on the lecturers Sustainability Organization Performance , and (3) there is the effect of direct sinergic transformational leaders on the lecturers academic culture. Implications of research efforts to bring down the lecturers Sustainability organization Performance , the effectiveness of sinergic transformational leaders must be increased, the improve the effectivity of academic culture.           Keyword:  Sinergic Transformational Leaders, Academic Culture On The Sustainability Organization Performance

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on all aspects of human life, including public organizations. An organization requires management related to efforts to achieve goals that depend on the performance of the individual organization in carrying out the assigned tasks. This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership and workload during the Covid-19 pandemic on the performance of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) technicians with an analysis focus on the comparison of generations X, Y, and Z. The population in this study were BMKG technicians who were scattered throughout in Indonesia by calculating the sample using the Slovin formula. The method used in this research is quantitative with instrument testing to determine the validity and reliability of the data, then classical assumption test, model accuracy test and hypothesis. The results of the study show that the data are normally distributed and valid, and transformational leadership has a positive effect with the largest value on Y generation, and workload has the largest positive effect on X generation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the glass ceiling on the career development of female civil servants in the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta, while also assessing the moderating roles of organisational culture and Leader–Member Exchange (LMX). A quantitative method was employed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) with a sample of 400 respondents selected through stratified random sampling. The findings reveal that the glass ceiling does not exert a significant effect on career development, whereas organisational culture and LMX demonstrate significant influences. Furthermore, organisational culture is found to be ineffective in moderating the relationship between the glass ceiling and career development, while LMX is shown to strengthen this relationship. These results underscore the critical importance of leader–subordinate relationships and a supportive organisational environment as key factors in overcoming structural barriers to women’s career progression in the public sector.
