Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1)menghasilkan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis Adobe flash CS5 yang layak berdasarkan penilaian validator, (2)mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran IPA yang digunakan, (3)mengetahui perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis Adobe flash CS5 yang dikembangkan dan (4)mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis Adobe flash CS5 yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (RD) yang mengadaptasi model penelitian Borg and Gall yang mencakup langkah research and information collecting, planning, develop preliminary form of product, preliminary field testing, dan main product revision. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar validasi kelayakan media pembelajaran IPA, angket respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran IPA oleh reviewer, lembar observasi motivasi belajar siswa, angket motivasi belajar siswa, serta lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1)media pembelajaran IPA dinyatakan layak oleh validator dengan kategori sangat baik (A), (2)media pembelajaran IPA mendapat respon dari siswa dengan kategori sangat baik (A), (3)terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa yang signifikan dibuktikan dengan perolehan nilai signifikasi (Sig.)0,05 yaitu 0.000, dan (4)meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 20,41% dari kategori baik menjadi sangat baik.Kata kunci: Adobe flash CS5, media pembelajaran IPA, motivasi belajar siswaThe aims of this research are (1)to produce a feasible Adobe flash CS5-Based science-learning media, (2)to know the students’ responses toward the science-learning media being developed, (3)to know the difference of the implementation of the science-learning media being developed on the students’ learning motivation and (4)to know the result of the implementation of the science-learning media being developed on the students’ learning motivation. The type of the study used in this research is Research and Development (R D) by Borg and Gall which has 5 steps of development i.e. research and information collecting, planning, develop preliminary form of product, preliminary field testing, and the main product revision. The instruments used in this research were validation forms of science-learning media, students’ questionnaire responses to the science-learning media, and learning motivation observation forms. Data analysis techniques that used in this research are qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The result of this research reveals that the Adobe Flash CS5-Based science-learning media being developed is: (1)declared feasible by the validator with a ‘very good’ category (A), (2)getting positive responses from the students with a ‘very good’ category (A), (3)proven to be able to improve students’ learning motivation by the acquisition of signification value (Sig.) 0,05, i.e. 0.000 and (4)proven to be able to improve students’ learning motivation by by 20.41% from good category to very good.Keywords: Adobe flash CS5, science-learning media, students’ learning motivation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui kelayakan LKPD berbasis inquiry science issues berdasarkan penilaian validator, (2) mengetahui kelayakan LKPD berbasis inquiry science issues berdasarkan respon peserta didik, (3) mengetahui critical thinking skills peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD berbasis inquiry science issues yang dikembangkan, dan (4) mengetahui curiosity peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD berbasis inquiry science issues yang dikembangkan. Penelitian pengembangan LKPD berbasis inquiry science issues menggunakan model 4D yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu (1) tahap define, (2) design, (3) tahap develop, dan (4) tahap disseminate. Berdasarkan penilaian ahli secara keseluruhan meliputi aspek kelayakan isi, aspek penyajian, aspek bahasa, dan aspek kegrafisan, LKDP berbasis inquiry science issues memperoleh nilai A dengan kategori sangat baik. Kelayakan LKPD berdasarkan respon peserta didik meliputi aspek kualitas materi, bahasa dan gambar, penyajian, dan kegrafisan memperoleh nilai A dengan kategori sangat baik. Perkembangan critical thinking skills peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD berdasarkan lembar observasi memiliki kategori cukup dan hasil gain score ternormalisasi memperoleh kategori sedang. Perkembangan curiosity peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKPD melalui lembar observasi memperoleh kategori cukup dan melalui angket penilaian diri memperoleh kategori cukup.Kata kunci : critical thinking skills, curiosity, inquiry science issues, LKPDThe research aims (1) to know the feasibility of worksheet based on inquiry science based on validator assessment, (2) to know the feasibility of worksheet based on inquiry science issues based on students response, (3) to know the critical thinking of learner after using worksheet based on inquiry science issues developed, and (4) to know the curiosity of learner after using worksheet based on inquiry science issues developed. Development research of worksheet based on inquiry science issues using 4D model consisting of four stages namely (1) define stage, (2) design, (3) development stage, and (4) disseminate stage. Based on result of expert appraisal on content feasibility aspect, presentation aspect, linguistic aspect, and aspects of graphics worksheet based on inquiry science issues get the value of A with very good category. Worksheet eligibility based on the response of learners includes aspects of material quality, language and images, presentation, and graphics get the value of A with very good category. Critical thinking skills of learners after using worksheet obtain sufficient category and obtain a normalized gain score with the category of moderate. Curiosity of learners after using LKPD obtained enough category through observation sheet with and obtained enough category through self-assessment questionnaire.Keywords: critical thinking skills, curiosity, inquiry science issues, worksheet

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran pengembangan moral kognitif terhadap kesadaran bahaya narkoba aspek pengetahuan pada siswa SMP, menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran pengembangan moral kognitif terhadap kesadaran bahaya narkoba aspek sikap pada siswa SMP, menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran pengembangan moral kognitif terhadap kesadaran bahaya narkoba aspek tindakan pada siswa SMP. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan jenis desain nonequivalent control group design. Teknik sampling pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan media pembelajaran Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis model pengembangan moral kognitif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Soal pretest dan posttest, (2) Angket Sikap, (3) Angket Tindakan. Teknik analisis data meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji normalized gain, uji mann whitney, uji independent sample t-test dan uji effect size yang menggunakan program SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada pengaruh model pembelajaran pengembangan moral kognitif terhadap kesadaran bahaya narkoba aspek pengetahuan, didasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,004 dan nilai effect size sebesar 0,97. (2) ada pengaruh model pembelajaran pengembangan moral kognitif terhadap kesadaran bahaya narkoba aspek sikap, didasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,019 dan nilai effect size sebesar 0,79. (3) ada pengaruh model pembelajaran pengembangan moral kognitif terhadap kesadaran bahaya narkoba aspek tindakan, didasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,031 dan nilai effect size sebesar 0,42.Kata Kunci: Kesadaran, Model Pengembangan Moral Kognitif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kelayakan hasil pengembangan e-module IPA berpendekatan authentic inquiry learning menurut para ahli, (2) kepraktisan e-module IPA berpendekatan authentic inquiry learning yang mengintegrasikan kemampuan problem solving dan kemandirian belajar peserta didik berdasarkan respon peserta didik, (3) efektivitas modul untuk mengembangkan kemampuan problem solving, dan (4) kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas VII SMP . Penelitian inimerupakan jenis penelitian RD (Research and Development) yang dikemukakanolehThiagarajanyangterdiridariempat tahapanyaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate.Subjek penelitian adalah24anak kelasVIIBSMPN1 Muntilan.Instrumenyang digunakan berupa lembar validasie-module IPA, lembar observasi kemampuan problem solvingdan kemandirian belajar peserta didik, dan angket respon peserta didik terhadap e-module IPA. Teknik analisis yang digunakan antara lain rerata skor untuk mencari skor aktual, konversi skor menjadi nilai skala empat, perhitungan persentase penguasaan kemampuan,dangain score.Hasilpenelitianini adalah(1) e-module IPA berpendekatan authentic inquiry learning yang dikembangkan layak digunakan menurut para ahli dengan mendapatkan nilai A dengan kategori sangat baik (2) Kepraktisan e-module IPA berpendekatan authentic inquiry learning yang mengintegrasikan kemampuan problem solving dan kemandirian belajar peserta didik berdasarkan respon peserta didik mendapatkan nilai B dengan kategori baik. (3) Keefektifan e-module IPA untuk mengembangkan kamampuan problem solving berdasarkan lembar observasi mengalami pengembangan sebesar 18,9%, sedangkan melalui soal pretest-posttest dengan perhitungan gain score menunjukkan angka 0,31 dengan kategori sedang. (4) Keefektifan e-module IPA untuk mengembangkan kemandirian belajar melalui lembar observasi yaitu mengalami pengembangan sebesar  5,3%, sedangkan melalui angket kemandirian memperoleh jumlah rerata skor 70,5 dari skor maksimal 96 dengan kategori sangat baik.Kata Kunci: E-module, Authentic Inquiry Learning, Problem solving, Kemandirian Belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap tanggungjawab dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII dalam pembelajaran IPA materi zat aditif pada makanan.Penelitian ini menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered head together (NHT). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi Lembar observasi sikap tanggungjawab, lembar soal pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan Lembar observasi hasil peningkatan persentase sikap tanggungjawab siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Berbah yaitu 74% pada siklus I dan 84% pada siklus II. Peningkatan tersebut termasuk kedalam kriteria amat baik. Sedangkan hasil belajar berdasarkan hasil analisis lembar soal pretest dan postest tiap siklusnya mengalami peningkatan yang ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan gain skor yaitu 0,54 pada siklus I dan 0,75 pada siklus II. Berdasarkan peningkatan sikap tanggungjawab dan peningkatan hasil belajar tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan sikap tanggung jawab dan hasil belajar pada siswa kelas VIII C.Kata Kunci : Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Sikap Tanggung Jawab, Hasil Belajar, Numbered Head Together (NHT)This study aims to improve the attitude of responsibility and improve student learning outcomes of class VIII in science teaching additive substances on food. This study using cooperative learning model type numbered head together (NHT). This research is a classroom action research (PTK). The instruments used in this research include responsibilities observation sheet, pretest and posttest questionnaire. The result of the research shows that based on the observation sheet, the result of the improvement of the percentage of student responsibility attitude of class VIII SMPN 2 Berbah is 74% in cycle I and 84% in cycle II. The increase is included in the criteria is very good. While the results of learning based on the results of the analysis of pretest and postest sheet of each cycle has increased indicated by the increase in gain of 0,54 in the cycle I and 0,75 on cycle II. Based on the improvement of attitude of responsibility and improvement of learning result indicates that science learning using cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together (NHT) can improve the attitude of responsibility and learning outcomes in students of class VIII C.Keywords : Class Action Research, Responsibility Attitude, Learning Outcomes, Numbered Head Together (NHT)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan dan mengetahui kelayakan modul elektronik IPA berbasis pendekatan STML menurut dosen ahli dan guru IPA; (2) mengetahui respon peserta didik setelah menggunakan modul elektronik IPA berbasis STML; dan (3) mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan peserta didik dalam memecahkan masalah setelah menggunakan modul elektronik IPA berbasis STML. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau R D dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Dessiminate). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu instrumen validasi kelayakan modul elektronik IPA, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STML, angket respon peserta didik terhadap modul elektronik IPA, dan soal tes kemampuan memecahkan masalah peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu (1) modul elektronik IPA berbasis sains teknologi masyarakat dan lingkungan (STML) yang dihasilkan dinyatakan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam memecahkan masalah; (2) modul elektronik IPA yang dikembangkan mendapatkan respon positif dari peserta didik; dan (3) modul elektronik IPA berbasis STML dapat meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah peserta didik dengan kategori sedang.Kata kunci: kemampuan memecahkan masalah, modul elektronik IPA, pendekatan STMLThe objectives of this research were: (1) to produce and to identify the feasibility of Science-Electronic module based on SETS approach according to the expert lecturers and science teachers; (2) to identify the learners’ responses after using Science-Electronic SETS based module; and (3) to identify the improvement of learners problems solving skill after using Science-Electronic SETS base module. This research was a Research and Development (RD) with 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Dessiminate). The instrument used in this research were validation form of Science-Electronic Module, observation form of the learning process in applying SETS approach, questionnaire of learners’ responses about Science-Electronic Module, and problem solving skill’s test. Abstract

Critical thinking skills (CTS) are abilities that students must develop and enhance. This tudy aimed to examine the effectiveness of a digital pop-up book in science learning to enhance students CTS. The product was developed using the problem-based learning (PBL) model combined with a socio-scientific issue (SSI) approach, designed to connect science concepts with real-world contexts. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group pretestposttest design, involving eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Manisrenggo. Data were collected through a critical thinking test consisting of 15 items covering four indicators: analyzing problems, identifying problems, formulating logical ideas, and drawing conclusions. Validation by experts indicated that the product was feasible for classroom use, while teacher and student evaluations confirmed its practicality and readability. The findings revealed that the experimental group achieved a higher average posttest score than the control group, with an N-gain of 0.37 (medium category), compared to 0.19 (low category) in the control group. The most significant improvement was observed in the ability to analyze and identify problems, whereas drawing conclusions showed limited progress. These results demonstrate that digital pop-up book media can serve as an effective learning tool to foster critical thinking by engaging students in authentic issues and collaborative problem-solving. The study suggests broader applications and future exploration of its long-term impact on critical thinking

Abstract

The low critical thinking ability of Indonesian students is known based on the acquisition of PISA and TIMMS assessments with positions in the lower middle rankings. The lack of teaching materials that facilitate the improvement of critical thinking skills is one of the contributing factors. The purpose of this research and development is to produce a substance stress module to improve the critical thinking skills of junior high school students using model discoverylearning. The development model used is 4-D, with stages including define(definition), design(planning), develop(development), and disseminate(spread). Data collection was carried out through a literature review, validation assessment, and e-module practicality response questionnaires. Data collection was carried out through instruments in the form of validation assessment sheets by practitioners and student practicality response questionnaire sheets. Practitioners assess the validity of teaching materials, while their practicality is assessed by students. The results of the material validation were 89.2% (very valid), the media validation was 90% (very valid), the student practicality questionnaire was 76.2% (practical), and the N-gain score was 0.46. These results indicate that the science modules developed are valid and practical for use in science learning

Abstract

Problem-solving skills are crucial in the modern era, so they become essential in increasing power competitiveness and adaptability. Research This aims to develop a virtual laboratory-integrated STEM-PBL worksheet. This research employs the research and development methodology using a 4D model. The validators consist of 4 media experts, content experts, and two practitioners. The readability test used 10 students selected from class VII by purposive sampling based on academic ability. This research shows that the STEM-PBL worksheet integrated with the virtual laboratory can increase students' problem-solving skills. Validation results show that all worksheet aspects are categorized as high with Aiken's Index value between 0.83-1.00. The practicality test of the worksheet obtained very practical category with a range value of 90-95% in all Implementation aspects of the worksheet, shows improving students' problem-solving skills with an overall N-gain of 0.51 (medium category), where improvement occurred in the solution implementation indicator (N-gain 0.70) and the lowest in solution evaluation" (N-gain 0.25). The effectiveness of the worksheet is proven through the Wilcoxon signed rank test, which shows a significant difference in students' problem-solving skills before and after treatment (p0.05)

Abstract

21st-century skills are important for students to be equipped to face the challenges of the 21st century. So it needs an appropriate approach to be able to provide resources that are by the demands of the 21st century. This study aimed to determine the influence of STEM approaches in science learning to improve students' 21st-century skills and determine the indicators of STEM elements in science learning. The method used in this study is a literature study or a study of research results from several journals. The instrument used is a Paper Classification Form (PCF) table. The data were analyzed using percentages and descriptive calculations. The study results showed that n methods are often used in STEM approaches to improve century skills by using a STEM approach only, followed by a combination of various learning models such as inquiry, PBL, and PjBL. K21st century skills most often studied are students' critical thinking skills. Indicator of STEM approaches in science learning includes Science, which is related to natural symptoms and observation; technology is related to the use of tools; Engineering is related to designing to make solutions; and Mathematics is related to linkage analysis. The STEM approach is very influential in improving students' 21st-century skills: communication, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
