Abstract

This research aims to know the relationship between self-concept and emotional intelligence on the ability to solve the physics problem of students. The sample used was one hundred and fifteen people determined by simple random sampling. The ability to solve physics problems is measured by test instrument. The research data were processed using simple linear regression techniques and  multiple regression. The results showed there was weak and significant positive relationship between self-concept and the ability to solve physics problems; there is very weak and insignificant positive relationship between emotional intelligence and the ability to solve physics problems; there is weak and significant positive relationship between self-concept and emotional intelligence together to the ability to solve physics problems.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang analisis jenis mineral pada Gumuk Pasir Sumalu Kecamatan Rantebua Kabupaten Toraja Utara dengan menggunakan metode suseptibilitas magnetik.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui berapa nilai suseptibilitas magnetik pada Gumuk Pasir Sumalu di Kecamatan Rantebua Kabupaten Toraja Utara dan Untuk mengetahui jenis mineral gumuk pasir Sumalu di Kecamatan Rantebua Kabupaten Toraja Utara.Lokasi penelitian berada pada  Lintang Selatan dan Bujur Timur. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 30 titik dengan kedalaman masing-masing 30 cm. Pengukuran suseptibilitas magnetik menggunakan alat Bartington MS2B dan pengukuran jenis unsur mineral magnetik menggunakan alat X-Ray fluorescence (XRF), sedangkan pengukuran mineral magnetik menggunakan alat X-ray Diffraction (XRD)tipe Rigaku MiniFlex II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai suseptibilitas magnetik pada Gumuk Pasir Sumalu Kecematan Rantebua Kabupaten Toraja Utara berkisar 5.7 × 10-8 m3/kg sampai dengan 14.7 × 10-8 m3/kg yang termasuk dalam golongan , Biotite (Mg, Fe, Al silicate), pyroxene (. Unsur mineral magnetik pada Gumuk Pasir Sumalu  dominan mengandung  Si, Fe, Al, Mg, sedangkan mineral magnetik utama penyusun gumuk pasir ini adalah Quartz, HematiteKaolinite ,Periclase dan Titanium Oxide).

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL), conceptual understanding and identify an increase in conceptual understanding after using LVL-BOT. This type of research is Pre-Experimental with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 37 students from physics classes who took modern physics courses. Students’ level of Self-Regulated Learning is administered using a questionnaire, and understanding of concepts is administered using a test. Based on the analysis results, the percentage level of Self-Regulated Learning is at a value of 87.7%, which is included in the very high category. There is a significant difference between the mean pre-test and post-test mean. The N-Gain Values of Photoelectric Effect and Black Body Radiation are 0.47 and 0.57, respectively. This shows an increase in student’s conceptual understanding, which is “enough” after using LVL-BOT.

Abstract

Climate change is a global phenomenon that can be felt locally. The potential impact of climate change is a change in rainfall patterns and an increase in air temperature. One area that is vulnerable to climate change is urban areas, people and development are the driving factors for increasing greenhouse gas emissions. For climate change conditions in Makassar City, it is necessary to analyze the parameters of rainfall and air temperature. The data used are daily rainfall data and air temperature from 1991 - 2020 obtained from UPT BMKG Kelas I Maros. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the trend of rainfall and maximum air temperature, as well as calculating the frequency of rainfall with very heavy intensity (rainfall > 100 mm/day). The results of the analysis show an increase in the value for the rainfall parameter of 8.2 mm/year and the maximum air temperature of 0.0317 °C/year, but there is a decrease in heavy rainfall. Annual rainfall is increasing but the frequency of heavy rains is increasing from the occurrence of rain in Makassar City but will occur more often only with high intensity. Maximum air temperature can cause increased drought in the dry season, and increased rainfall can cause flooding in the rainy season.Keywords: rainfall, air temperature, trend

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra-eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas X2 SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene tahun ajaran 2010/2011 yang diajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan PAKEM. Variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan PAKEM sebagai variabel bebas dan peningkatan hasil belajar sebagai variabel respon, adapun desain penelitiannya adalah “  pre-test and post-test group ”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene tahun ajaran 2010/2011 yang terdiri atas 288 orang. Sedangkan sampelnya adalah 32 orang yang diambil dengan memilih satu kelas secara acak dengan asumsi bahwa kelas yang diambil homogen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif ditemukan bahwa skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada posttest lebih besar dibandingkan skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada pretest. Peningkatan hasil belajar yang terjadi berada pada kategori sedang  (medium gain) dengan <g> = 0,48. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian statistik inferensial thitung > ttabel (15,866 >1,698), hal ini berarti bahwa hasil belajar fisika siswa setelah diajar melalui pendekatan PAKEM berbeda secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar mereka sebelum diajar melalui pendekatan PAKEM.Kata kunci  : hasil belajar, pendekatan PAKEM

Abstract

This study aims were to analyze the profile of radiation intensity and sunshine duration in the karst area of Maros TN Bantimurung Bulusaraung, South Sulawesi during solstice phenomenon in the period 2011-2020. In addition, radiation intensity and sunshine duration in the same area were also measured. A Pearson correlation shows that the intensity of solar radiation and the sunshine duration have a bimodal pattern. The average radiation intensity during the 2011-2020 solstices in June and December was 1.193  and 1.249 , respectively. Whereas the percentage of sunshine duration in June and December reached 54% and 35%, respectively. The results of the Pearson correlation analysis of the relationship between radiation intensity and sunshine duration in June were 0.722, while in December, it was 0.717. The interpretation results show that the two parameters have a strong correlation and have a close relationship

Abstract

Abstrak. Kegiatan PKM yang dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah, yakni: 1) bagaimana memanfaatkan potensi sumber daya alam di Kawasan Gua Leang Lonrong sehingga diperoleh hasil yang maksimal terutama dalam bidang ekonomi, 2) bagaimana menumbuhkan sadar wisata bagi siswa SMP sekitar Kawasan Gua Leang Lonrong Kabupaten Pangkep. Metode dalam kegiatan PKM berupa observasi lapangan dan pemberian kuisioner pada siswa sebagai bentuk awal dalam memahami kesadaran yang dimiliki siswa terhadap potensi wisata di lingkungannya. Hasil yang diharapkan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu; 1) Potensi sumber daya Kawasan Gua Leang Lonrong 2) Potensi wisata dikawasan Gua Leang Lonrong. 3) Artikel yang terpublikasi nasional 4) Video Kegiatan. Kegiatan Pengabdian yang dilakukan memberikan informasi berupa; 1) Potensi sumber daya alam di Kawasan Gua Leang Lonrong berupa sumberdaya mineral, sumberdaya air, sumberdaya hayati, potensi pariwisata dan ekowisata. Setiap potensi sumberdaya yang terdapat di Kawasan ini dapat dimaksimalkan pemanfaatannya sehingga menumbuhkan potensi ekonomi bagi masyarakat sekitar. 2) Menumbuhkan sadar wisata bagi siswa SMP sekitar Kawasan Gua Leang Lonrong Kabupaten Pangkep, dilakukan dengan mejadikan Kawasan Wisata sebagai bagian dari pembelajaran. Lokasi wisata yang memiliki banyak sumber daya yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai laboratorium alam bagi siswa sekolah. Kata kunci: Leang Lonrong, Sadar Wisata, Potensi Sumberdaya

Abstract

Wilayah Kecamatan Galesong merupakan daerah dataran dan wilayah pesisir dengan ketinggian 0-100 mdpl. Hal ini memacu penggunaan lahan untuk kawasan fungsional terbangun. Berdasarkan hal ini maka perlu diadakan penelitan tentang sebaran kerentanan seismik di Kecamatan Galesong Kabupaten Takalar. Data primer yang diambil langsung di sekitar pesisir pantai Galesong sebelah utara dengan menggunakan TDL 303S. Data yang diambil sebanyak 5 titik pengukuran dengan jarak setiap titik sekitar 500 meter. Selanjutnya data pengukuran tersebut kemudian diolah dengan software Geopsy. Nilai frekuensi 0,416-0,509 Hz maka lokasi penelitian dominan batuan alluvial, dimana pada titik MG02 merupakan daerah yang paling rentan dengan nilai 105,9918.
