Abstract

This research is Research and Development (R&D). The development is carried out by referring to the 4D model. The 4D stages include the define, design, develop and disseminate stages. This development research aims to: produce SETS (science, environment, technology, and society-based physics teaching materials to improve students' creativity that meet valid criteria; produce SETS-based physics teaching materials to improve students' creativity that meet practical criteria; describe the effectiveness of using SETS-based physics teaching materials to improve students' creativity that has been developed. The instruments used in this study were SETS-based teaching material validation sheets, practitioner assessment questionnaires, namely physics subject teachers, and creativity test instruments. The criteria for the practicality of the physics teaching module are seen from the assessment of practitioners (physics teachers), and the criteria for increasing creativity after the application of SETS-based physics teaching materials are seen from the increase in students' creativity test results. Based on the analysis results, it was obtained that: SETS-based physics teaching materials developed based on expert assessment using the Aiken V index analysis were declared valid and feasible to use; SETS-based physics teaching materials reviewed from practitioner assessments were in the very practical category; the effectiveness of increasing student creativity after using SETS-based physics teaching materials analyzed with N-gain of 72% was in the effective criteria.

Abstract

This study is a true experimental design study using a 2x2 factorial design. The purpose of the study is to: find out whether or not the application of the Problem Based Learning model and learning interest has an effect on the results of physics problem solving abilities of class XI MIPA, and to diagram the interaction of the learning model and learning interest on the results of physics problem solving abilities. The research data were obtained by providing a learning interest questionnaire sheet to students before being taught using the learning model in the study, and for the Problem Solving ability test results were carried out after students were taught using the learning model in the study. The data analysis technique used was analysis of variance (ANOVA). Based on the results of the inferential analysis obtained: F count (26.57) > F table 4, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between students who are taught using the Problem based learning model and students who are taught using the discovery learning model; F count (0.53) < F table 4, it can be concluded that there is no interaction between the learning model and learning interest on the results of students' Problem Solving abilities.

Abstract

This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). Development is carried out by referring to the 4D model. This study aims to produce local wisdom-based teaching materials to improve students' critical thinking skills that meet valid and practical criteria, analyze the effectiveness of using local wisdom-based teaching materials to improve students' critical thinking skills that have been developed. The results of the study showed that expert research on local wisdom-based teaching materials that had been developed was then analyzed using the Aiken'V formulation, obtained an average aspect of content feasibility of 0.86, presentation feasibility of 0.90, and language aspect of 0.81 and stated that it met the feasibility criteria (valid). The results of the teacher's assessment of the teaching materials obtained aspects of the feasibility of instructions with an average of 3.83, aspects of the coverage of questionnaire components of 3.67, and aspects of language feasibility of 3.44 with a very practical category. So, it can be concluded that this local wisdom-based teaching material is declared feasible to be tested. The effectiveness of local wisdom-based teaching materials can be seen from the increase in students' critical thinking skills based on the results of the pretest and posttest which were analyzed using the N-Gain test. Overall, the average N-Gain value of students in critical thinking skills was 0.55 in the moderate category. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in the critical thinking skills of class XI students of SMAN 14 Bone. This shows that local wisdom-based teaching materials are effective for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This Research and Development (R&D) study aims to develop a Physics Teaching Module based on the Karst Environment using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) and evaluate its effectiveness on learning outcomes regarding student motivation. Content validity was assessed by two experts, while practicality was tested by a physics teacher. The module was trialed with 36 students in class XI F2 at SMAN 4 Maros. Data collection instruments included validation sheets, practitioner questionnaires, motivation scales, and learning achievement tests (pretest and posttest). Data analysis techniques involved the Aiken’s V index for validity, descriptive statistics, the Paired Sample T-Test for effectiveness, and a One-Way ANOVA to analyze learning improvements based on motivation levels. Results indicate that the module is valid with an average Aiken’s V index of 0.81 and is categorized as practical based on practitioner responses of 82.20%. Furthermore, the module proved effective in improving learning outcomes, as evidenced by a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (Sig. 0.00 < 0.05), with significant differences also observed among students with varying levels of motivation (Sig. 0.00 < 0.05). In conclusion, this Karst environment-based physics module is declared valid, practical, and effective for use in school physics learning processes

The purpose of this research was to produce a project-based physics teaching module to improve students' science process skills that meet the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The project-based physics teaching module was validated by three experts. The test subjects were Grade XI students of State Senior High School 13 Takalar in the 2025/2026 academic year. The results of the study indicate that expert assessments of the developed physics teaching module were analyzed using the Aiken's V index, with an average content feasibility score of 0.78, a presentation feasibility score of 0.76, and a graphic feasibility score of 0.78 in the moderate category. Meanwhile, the language feasibility score was 0.82 in the high category. The results of the expert judgment of the project-based teaching module yielded a cumulative response score of 87.33%, categorized as very practical. The implementation observation results yielded a cumulative score of 81.30%, categorized as practical. Therefore, the project-based physics teaching module was considered feasible for implementation and use. The effectiveness of the project-based physics teaching module was determined based on the pre-test and post-test results of students' science process skills, which were analyzed using the N-gain test. Overall, the average N-gain score of students was 0.68, categorized as moderate. It can be concluded that there was an improvement in the science process skills of Grade XI students of State Senior High School 13 Takalar through the use of the project-based physics teaching module. This indicates that the project-based physics teaching module is effective for physics learning.
