Abstract

Brassica juncea L. is a much-loved vegetable species in Indonesia. To improve the quality and quantity of mustard plants, agricultural intensification efforts are needed through macro-micro fertilisers that maintain the balance of soil nutrients. This study aims to determine the response of mustard plants to the application of macro-micro fertilisers. The research was conducted in Claket Village, Pacet District, Mojokerto Regency at an altitude of 470 masl with a daily temperature of 21-30°C. The method used was a factorial Randomised Group Design (RAK) with two factors (fertiliser dose and spacing) and three replications. Variables observed included increase in plant height, number of leaves, wet weight, dry weight, and water content. Data analysis used F test and BNJ 5%. The results showed that the interaction of macro-micro fertiliser dose and planting distance gave a significant effect on all variables, except dry weight due to high water content in mustard greens.

Abstract

Banana (Musa acuminata Colla) is a tropical fruit with great economic potential and export prospects. According to the Directorate General of Horticulture, Ministry of Agriculture, banana production from 2009 to 2014 fluctuated due to attacks by Plant Destruction Organisms (PDO), particularly Sigatoka disease caused by the fungus Mycosphaerella musciola. This study investigated biological agents like Trichoderma sp. and Gliocladium sp., along with liquid organic fertilizers, to control the disease without synthetic fungicides.The research, conducted at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, used a split-plot design with two factors: biological pesticides (Tricogreen, Natural Glio, Trico-G) and liquid organic fertilizers (rabbit urine POC, shrimp shell MOL, banana hump MOL). The experiment had nine treatment combinations with three plant samples each. Results showed that biological pesticides significantly reduced Sigatoka disease intensity, with the J3P3 treatment (Trico-G and Banana Hump MOL) achieving the lowest infection rate of 29.55%, reducing disease intensity by 70.45%. Liquid organic fertilizers also improved plant growth, increasing leaf number and leaf area. This indicates that biological agents and organic fertilizers effectively manage Sigatoka disease and promote healthy banana plant growth.

Abstract

The main commodity of food crops is rice which has a strategic function, namely as a staple food for the people of Indonesia. Maintaining the health and quality of soil biologically by reducing dependence on synthetic fertilizers. Swamp Inbred Paddy (Inpara) are superior varieties of paddy that are well cultivated in swamp land conditions, resistant to immersion, and adaptability to acidic soil conditions. This study investigates the combination of biological and synthetic fertilizers on the growth of flood-tolerant Inpara rice using a strip plot/split block design. The treatments used were 6 combinations of biological fertilizers-synthetic fertilizers and 3 paddy varieties with 3 replications. The results obtained from the analysis of variance then conducted a further test of BNJ to determine the performance of each variable. Correlation test is performed to determine the interactions and relationships between observational variables. Soil analysis is also carried out to determine the mineral content in the soil. The effect of the combination of synthetic and biological fertilizer doses with 3 Inpara paddy varieties interacted significantly on several observational variables resulting in significantly different performance. The combination treatment with 75% synthetic fertilizer and 25% biological fertilizer showed several parameters that were higher than the treatment with 100% synthetic fertilizer so that the use of synthetic fertilizer can be reduced.

Abstract

Peramalan atau forecasting adalah sebuah instrumen yang vital dalam perencanaan yang efektif dan efisien. Ini merujuk pada proses prediksi, proyeksi, atau estimasi tingkat kejadian yang bersifat tidak pasti di masa mendatang. Tantangan yang dihadapi oleh Lab Art Aromatique adalah kesulitan dalam menentukan penjualan pada periode selanjutnya, mengingat belum ada prediksi yang menggunakan metode Single Moving Average (SMA). Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan di Lab Art Aromatique dengan menerapkan sistem peramalan menggunakan metode Single Moving Average, hal ini dapat membantu toko tersebut untuk merekam data penjualan setiap bulannya yang kemudian disimpan dalam database. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melibatkan observasi langsung, wawancara dengan sumber yang relevan, dan dokumentasi melalui kajian literatur yang ada. Hasil dari penelitian ini mencakup estimasi nilai untuk periode selanjutnya menggunakan metode Single Moving Average (SMA), dengan nilai error MSE (Mean Square Error) sebesar 14.811,7667, menunjukkan tingkat akurasi yang baik dalam memprediksi penjualan parfum.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has significantly simplified the process of accessing essential information. Alongside the increasing population in Serdang Bedagai Regency, there has been a consistent expansion in the construction of public facilities. However, the extensive geographical area of this region poses challenges in providing accessible routes to these facilities. This study aims to implement the A* (A-Star) algorithm within a mobile-based Geographic Information System (GIS) to optimize the mapping and routing of public facilities in Serdang Bedagai Regency. By leveraging the A* algorithm, the application provides users with the most efficient and shortest routes to their desired destinations. This application is designed for easy integration with commonly used smartphones, allowing residents and tourists to navigate public facilities with greater convenience. The GIS-based platform also serves as a valuable tool for local governments to manage and analyze the distribution and accessibility of public infrastructure. The results demonstrate that the implementation of the A* algorithm effectively enhances route optimization by considering both distance and heuristic evaluations. This research contributes to improving public access to essential facilities while addressing geographic challenges within the regency.

Abstract

Penerapan administrasi sangat penting bagi suatu perusahaan, organisasi, maupun instansi dalam memantau kegiatan pengorganisasian guna berjalan lancar dan dapat mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Urusan surat menyurat merupakan bagian penting dalam penyelenggaraan administrasi. Aktivitas kerja di Kantor Walikota Medan pun tidak terlepas dari administrasi terutama untuk urusan surat menyurat. Namun penerapan administrasi di Kantor Walikota Medan masih menggunakan sistem administrasi manual. Penyelenggaraan administrasi manual tersebut mengalami beberapa kendala serta membutuhkan banyak biaya, waktu, dan tenaga. Untuk itu dibutuhkan penerapan sistem paperless office guna meningkatkan efektivitas kerja menjadi lebih baik. Penerapan sistem paperless office membantu mengurangi penggunaan kertas karena dokumen dalam bentuk kertas digantikan dengan dokumen dalam format elektronik seperti word, pdf, dan sebagainya sehingga tidak membutuhkan banyak ruangan untuk penyimpanan. Pencarian data juga dilakukan dengan mudah dan cepat karena petugas atau pegawai dapat dilihat melalui database yang terdapat pada instansi tersebut. Aplikasi paperless office ini diharapkan dapat membantu instansi tersebut dalam meningkatkan kinerja para pegawai dan pelayanan publik.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggunakan pendekatan User-centred Design (UCD) untuk mengembangkan dan menyebarkan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Perpustakaan berbasis web di SMP Negeri 3 Rantau Utara. Sistem ini dimaksudkan untuk mengefisienkan administrasi perpustakaan, meningkatkan produktivitas, dan meningkatkan mutu layanan yang ditawarkan kepada pengguna—khususnya, siswa dan personel sekolah. Memahami konteks penggunaan, mengidentifikasi tuntutan pengguna, merancang solusi desain, dan menilai persyaratan adalah semua langkah dalam proses UCD yang termasuk dalam proses pengembangan sistem. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi perpustakaan dengan sejumlah fitur utama, seperti layar login, daftar transaksi, daftar buku yang dipinjam dan dikembalikan, transaksi denda, daftar anggota, daftar buku, daftar kategori buku, daftar buku di rak, laporan transaksi pinjaman, dan daftar pengembalian buku. Dengan penekanan pada tuntutan pengguna dan kenyamanan penggunaan, setiap fitur dibuat untuk membantu kegiatan operasional perpustakaan. Kemampuan sistem untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dan meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi perpustakaan ditunjukkan melalui pengujian dan evaluasi. Selain itu, teknologi ini mempercepat dan mempermudah perolehan informasi perpustakaan dan memungkinkan pustakawan mengelola dan mengawasi perpustakaan dengan lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, penerapan sistem informasi administrasi perpustakaan berbasis web ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan mutu layanan perpustakaan di SMP Negeri 3 Rantau Utara secara signifikan.

Abstract

A corn grinding machine is a combustion engine that is used to drive a propeller which functions to knock out corn kernels from the cob, so that the release of corn kernels from the cob is very fast and time efficient. This really helps corn farmers and also corn refinery owners to speed up the process to the processing factory. However, in the process of threshing corn from the cobs, the machine often experiences damage, so it is necessary to detect damage to the corn grinding machine with an expert system using the Certainty Factor method in order to help farmers quickly understand what damage is occurring to the machine without having to bring the machine or call someone. machine repair expert, where the system created can also provide solutions related to machine damage. Corn grinding machines that experience fan damage with damage code P01 have a certainty level of damage of 67.2% or Certainty Factor=0.672.

Abstract

Simalungun District Culture and Tourism Office is a government agency whose activities include paying attention to tourism spots, especially Muslim tourists, namely in terms of finding halal places to eat or culinary in Parapat City. The haversine formula algorithm is one of the algorithms in a geographic information system that is able to calculate the shortest distance from the initial location to the destination location. By implementing the haversine formula algorithm in a geographic information system, it can be used to search for the nearest halal food location in Parapat City from the user's location. This research aims to be able to assist the community in finding the nearest halal food location in Parapat City and it is hoped that the Simalungun Regency Culture and Tourism Office can also provide location data for halal food that is integrated with a mobile-based geographic information system.

Abstract

PT Astra Daihatsu SM. Raja, a branch of PT. Astra International, Tbk operating in SM. Raja Medan, faces issues with the manual process of estimating time and cost for body repair services. This study aims to design and develop an estimation information system by applying the Monte Carlo method for the estimation calculations. The system is Android-based and can be accessed via smart devices. It is designed for employees to calculate estimates by inputting vehicle and repair data, after which the system automatically displays the estimated time and cost for repairs. By utilizing the waterfall development method and programming languages such as Java and PHP, this research successfully developed a system that provides more accurate and efficient repair estimates. The results of this study are expected to improve transparency and efficiency in the vehicle repair process at PT. Astra Daihatsu SM. Raja.
