Abstract

Online gender-based violence (OGBV) in Indonesia has experienced a significant increase in 2023 compared to the previous year. OGBV is a term that refers to acts of violence or sexual harassment, especially targeting women, which are carried out through internet technology. Teenagers are a generation of digital natives who are highly dependent on internet technology. Engaging in harmful content online has also been shown to pose a danger to physical and mental health. Understanding adolescents' perceptions and attitudes towards OGBV is a crucial step in efforts to overcome and prevent it. This study aims to: 1) Identify adolescents' perception of OGBV based on gender and social background; 2) Analyze adolescents' attitudes towards OGBV based on gender and social background. This quantitative survey design took the research subjects of high schools in Semarang, approximately 30882 adolescents in 16 sub-districts in Semarang with a random sampling technique using a total of 545 respondents. Because the data was not normally distributed, the data analysis used The Mann-Whitney U test and The Kruskal-Wallis H analysis. The results of the study show that women's perception is better than men's. The higher the socio-economic status, the better the perception of OGBV. Women's attitudes are higher than men's attitudes towards OGBV. There was no significant difference in OGBV's attitude based on socioeconomic status.

Abstract

Pada usia anak-anak tentunya dalam  keterampilan membaca dan menulis membutuhkan bimbingan yang luar biasa  dari guru, orang tua dan lingkungan sekitar. Membaca dan menulis adalah kata yang mudah untuk diucapkan tapi butuh kesabaran untuk mencapai ketrampilan membaca dan menulis yang baik.Tujuan artikel ini untuk menghidupkan belajar siswa sekolah dasar dalam kerampilan membaca dan menulis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur. Pencarian melalui google cendekia dengan mengumpulkan artikel-artikel dari penelitian terdahulu kemudian dianalisis. Terdapat 12 artikel yang relevan mengenai ketrampilan membaca dan menulis kelas rendah. Berdasarkan hasil kajian literatur, ketrampilan membaca dan menulis diharapkan siswa memiliki keterampilan membaca dan menulis yang baik karena dengan membaca dan menulis sangat berpengaruh terhadap penyampaian ungkapan dalam bentuk tulisan dan dapat digunakan sebagai saran untuk guru agar dapat memotivasi siswanya dalam keterampilan membaca dan menulis.

Abstract

Self-regulation in learning refers to an individual's ability to direct, monitor, and regulate their behavior, motivation, and emotions to achieve academic goals. However, not all students possess strong self-regulation skills in learning, as observed in superior classes. Students in regular classes tend to procrastinate more frequently, pay less attention to teachers, and struggle with learning. This study aims to investigate the differences in self-regulation in learning between students in regular and superior classes. The study employs a quantitative approach with a comparative design. The research participants comprise 68 sixth-grade students at Phatnawitya School, Thailand, with a sample of 45 students selected through cluster sampling. The research instrument consists of a self-regulation learning scale with 12 validated statements assessed using SPSS Statistics 26. This scale includes three aspects: metacognition, motivation, and behavior. Data analysis using an independent t-test revealed a significance value of 0.177 (p > 0.05), indicating no significant differences in self-regulation between students in superior and regular classes.

Abstract

Pendidikan berasrama merupakan sistem pendidikan yang didasarkan atas pertimbangan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang lebih utuh, yang mencakup cipta, rasa, karsa, dan karya sehingga menghasilkan lulusan yang tidak hanya unggul dalam berpikir tetapi juga berkepribadian mulia. Pendidikan berasrama dapat menerapkan program pendidikan yang komprehensif-holistik mencakup keagamaan, pengembangan akademik, life skills (soft skills dan hard skills), wawasan kebangsaan dan membangun wawasan global. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ada untuk mengetahui Penerapan Kurikulum Pendidikan Berasrama untuk meningkatkan Karakter Mahasiswa PPG khususnya kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan kemandirian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan tujuan untuk memperbaiki praktik pendidikan melalui siklus tindakan yang berulang melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi yang dilakukan dalam program kehidupan berasrama bagi mahasiswa PPG efektif dalam meningkatkan karakter mahasiswa mulai dari kedisiplinan, keterampilan sosial, hingga keseimbangan hidup. Hal ini diperkuat dengan data siklus II diperoleh hasil peningkatan karakter mahasiswa pada aspek: kedisipinan 85%, tanggung jawab 87%, dan kemandirian 90%. Pentingnya dukungan berkelanjutan melalui bimbingan, konseling, serta manajemen waktu dan kegiatan asrama sangat berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan personal dan profesional mahasiswa. Keterbatasa dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya resistensi awal mahasiswa terhadap program Pendidikan berasrama dan kesulitan manajemen waktu dalam kegiatan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik mind mapping dapat mengetahui pemahaman diripada siswa kelas x SMK Widya Praja Ungaran. Jenis penelitian inimenggunakan True Experimen Design. Jumlah subjek yang digunakan sebanyak 22 siswa yang masuk kedalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompokkontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan skala psikologis pemahaman diri. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji paired sample t test gunamenguji hipotesis komparatif rata-rata dua sampel dan untuk mengetahui adatidaknya perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan perlakuan. Hasil analisismenunjukkan bahwa Sig.2-tailed sebesar 0,002 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapatperbedaan rata-rata pemahaman diri siwa kelompok pre-test dan kelas kontrol. Dapat disimpulakan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, hal ini menunjukkanbahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik mind mapping dapatmengetahui pemahaman diri pada siswa kelas x SMK Widya Praja Ungaran.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze (1) the effect of emotional intelligence on critical reasoning dimensions, (2) the effect of communication skills on critical reasoning dimensions, and (3) the effect of emotional intelligence and communication skills simultaneously on critical reasoning dimensions. The population and sample consisted of/involved 31 people. The instrument tests used were validity and reliability tests. The classical assumption test used the normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression tests, F tests (ANOVA), and t-tests. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that (1) Emotional intelligence positively and significantly influences the critical reasoning dimension. It is based on the results of a positive t-test, proven by the calculated t1 result of 21.393> t table 2.0423, (2) Communication skills have a positive and significant effect on the critical reasoning dimension. This is based on a positive t-test, proven by the calculated t2 result of 6.840> t table 2.0423, (3) The effect of emotional intelligence and communication skills simultaneously positively and significantly affects the critical reasoning dimension. This is based on the results of a positive F-test, proven by the calculated F value> F table (369.315> 3.34)

Abstract

Mental health in the younger generation is essential to have. However, guidance and counseling undergraduate students who face mental health problems are not all willing to seek help. The low intention to seek help among guidance and counseling undergraduate students is thought to be influenced by a lack of knowledge about mental health and low self-efficacy. The condition of not seeking help results in losses for oneself, the community and the nation's future. The research aims to determine the influence of mental health knowledge and self-efficacy on intentions to seek help. The research used a quantitative design and data analysis using linear regression assisted by SPSS 26. The population of this research is guidance and counseling students. Researchers used purposive sampling and obtained 194 respondents willing to participate in the research. Researchers used three instruments. On the Mental Health Knowledge Schedule scale, the validity level moves from .391 - .870 with a reliability of .896. The general self-efficacy scale with the validity value moves from .450 - .731 and a reliability of .868. The intention to seek help scale with scores ranging from .668 - .845 and a reliability of .887. The research results are: (1) there is an influence between mental health knowledge and intention to seek help, (2) there is no influence between self-efficacy and intention to seek help, (3) there is a correlation between mental health knowledge and self-efficacy, (4) there is no influence between mental health knowledge and self-efficacy on intention to seek help. Suggestions for further research need to reduce the stigma of mental health problems, expand access to mental health assistance and increase undergraduate students' trust in the professional competence of mental health professionals in the educational environment so that undergraduate students are willing to take advantage of access to assistance.

Abstract

There is an urgency to provide sexual psychoeducation to young children because of the high number of cases of violence against children and women in the city of Semarang. This fact is supported because there are still many teachers who consider sex education to be taboo. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. This research included 15 kindergarten teachers taken from two kindergarten schools in Semarang City. Data collection through observation and in-depth interviews. Document analysis through photos, videos, and audio recordings from teacher participants. This research aims to explore teachers' strategies and barriers in teaching self-protection in sexual psychoeducation programs for pre-school children. This research reveals teachers' strategies in teaching children sexual psychoeducation regarding self-protection, namely, teachers use learning media, create special classes, apply habituation, and create safe and comfortable classes. Barriers for teachers in providing sexual psychoeducation to children are the limited age of children, sexual education being a taboo subject, limited school facilities and the number of teachers, as well as different levels of understanding and characteristics of children.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how effective group guidance services with sociodrama techniques are to increase the self-confidence of class XI science students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung. This type of research is a quantitative experiment with a True Experiment research method using a pretest posttest control group design. The samples taken were 20 students, 10 students for the experimental group and 10 students for the control group using purposive random sampling. In this study, data were obtained through research instruments in the form of a self-confidence scale and interviews. The research design used was pretest, treatment, and posttest. The treatment was carried out five times in the experimental group with an average of 69 to 86.1, an increase of 17.1. The results of the hypothesis test obtained that tcount = 100,662 were consulted with a significance level of 5% (0,05) namely 2,101. This shows that tcount = 100,662 ttable = 2,101 It was concluded that group guidance services with sociodrama techniques were effective in increasing the self-confidence of class XI science students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi adanya ketidaktahuan siswa terhadap batasan perilaku antara laki-laki dan perempuan yang merupakan awal terjadinya perilaku seksual berisiko. Dampak yang terjadi yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan siswa terhadap ketrampilan menjaga diri sehingga siswa berpotensi menjadi korban perilaku seksual berisiko. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian Pre-Experimental Design dengan model one group pre-test post-test design. Sampel penelitian yaitu 9 siswa diambil menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Sebelum pemberian treatment, dilakukan pre-test dengan hasil rata-rata 6,22 berkategori kurang baik. Setelah pemberian treatment, dilakukan post-test dengan hasil rata-rata 11,33 berkategori sangat baik. Selisih dari hasil rata-rata pretest dan post-test yaitu 5,11. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan paired t-test menunjukkan hasil perhitungan uji t sebanyak 17,288. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa thitung ttabel yaitu 17,288 2,262, artinya Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Sehingga terdapat pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok pendidikan seksualitas untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menjaga diri dari perilaku seksual berisiko.
