Abstract

Hypertension and hypercholesterolemia are the causes of coronary heart disease (CHD) so that the presence of hypercholesterolemia in patients with hypertension will increase the risk of CHD. Central obesity describes the accumulation of fat in the stomach which can lead to abnormalities in the amount of lipids in the blood, when it occurs in patients with hypertension can lead to progression of the occurrence of high blood cholesterol and the risk of causing atherosclerosis and heart disease. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of waist circumference and other factors with the incidence of hypercholesterolemia in patients with hypertension. This research is a quantitative study through secondary data with Cross Sectional design. According to the results of multivariate tests with multiple logistic regression, there was a relationship between waist circumference, gender and age after being controlled by physical activity variables. Gender as a risk factor most associated with the incidence of hypercholesterolemia with a risk 8.5 times higher in women than men, then carried out waist circumference stratification test by sex in hypertensive patients with cases of central obesity found a significant relationship that women with central obesity have a risk of experiencing hypercholesterolemia as much as 5.5 times compared to central obesity in men with a value of p <0.05. There is a waist circumference relationship with the incidence of hypercholesterolemia in women who are central obesity more at risk of developing hypercholesterolemia than central obesity in men. Abstract

Background: The level of dietary adherence in Indonesia is still low. Diet in maintaining food is often become an obstacles because the patient is still tempted by all food that can worsen their health. Met The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that associated with dietary adherence in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. This study was using a cross-sectional design. The samples studied were all type 2 diabetes mellitus type 2 with the age range 25-65 years was outpatient, samples were taken with non-random sampling method with purposive sampling of 130 people. Data were collected through anthropometric measurements, filling-out questionnaires, 1x24 hour food recall and dan (semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire) SFFQ form. Results: The results showed 13.8% of respondents were diet-compliant. There were significant relationship between gender (p=0.008) and length of suffering (p=0.044) with between dietary adherence. The result of logistic regression test showed that the duration of suffering is the dominant factor associated with dietary adherence in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Conclusion: Type 2 diabetes mellitus patients were expected to pay attention to the diet recommended and carry it out well, to actively to improve the knowledge related to the disease diabetes mellitus and related to the other factors and still preserve diet that has been run for who has long been suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

The baby's weight gain is very rapid, but the rate of weight gain is getting less and less. At the age of 5 months, a baby weighs twice his birth weight, while at 1 year his weight reaches three times his birth weight, and at 2 years his weight weighs four times his birth weight. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between birth weight and factors influencing weight gain at the age of 12 months in babies born at the midwife independent practice clinic (BPM) in Lubuklinggu City, South Sumatra Province in 2019. Sample of 108, research design cross sectional. The results showed there was a relationship between birth weight (p value = 0.001) and immunization status (p value = 0.017) to the baby's weight gain at 12 months of age.

Abstract

Background : Diarrhea in children is still a health problem that occurs in the Sumbawa Regency, especially in North Moyo district, West Nusa Tenggara. The magnitude of the problem can be seen from the high morbidity and mortality due to diarrhea. Diarrhea in children can contribute to the acute burden of disease (UNICEF, 2019). Based on the Regional Health Profile of West Nusa Tenggara Province in 2018, the prevalence of diarrhea in children aged 6-59 months in North Moyo District was 28.7% higher than the national, provincial, and district levels. The purpose of this study was to find out the corelation of determinants of diarrhea in children aged 6-59 months in North Moyo District, Sumbawa Regency. Methods : Cross sectional design was used in this study with 406 sample of children aged 6-59. Data collection was carried out by measuring weight, interview and observation.The Chi-Square test and regresi logistic were used to analysis the study. Results : The results showed the prevalence of diarrhea in children aged 6-59 months in North Moyo District was 18.7%. Statistical analysis showed that the significant corelation was the number of family members, posyandu visits, exclusive breastfeeding, how to help children diarrhea, and washing hands with soap (pvalue <0.05). The number of family members is the dominant factor associated with diarrhea in children aged 6-59 months in North Moyo District (OR: 2.78, 95% CI 1.29-5.97, p value <0.05). Coclucion : Make the prevention and treatment of diarrhea everybody’s responsible. Implementation of prevention and treatment is approached in an integrated way to produce a greater impact in efforts to overcome diarrhea in children.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) merupakan pandemi global yang telah menginfeksi berbagai negara di dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Pembatasan pada kegiatan di luar rumah termasuk penutupan sekolah dalam menekan penularan COVID-19 berdampak pada perubahan aktifitas fisik dan perilaku makan dalam arah yang membahayakan kesehatan dan menimbulkan masalah gizi, serta meningkatkan risiko NCD yang dapat memperparah penyakit COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kebiasaan olahraga dan kebiasaan konsumsi sebelum dan saat pandemi COVID-19 pada siswa SMAN terpilih di Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Desain studi penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional dengan menggunakan data primer yang didapatkan melalui pengisian kuesioner dan FFQ. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan juli 2020. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 295 siswa yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling pada SMA Negeri terpilih di Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 2.0 menggunakan analisis bivariat uji Mc Nemar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan variabel frekuensi olahraga (p-value 0,000), durasi olahraga (p-value 0,000), kebiasaan konsumsi sayur (p-value 0,021) dan buah (p-value 0,000) sebelum dan saat pandemi COVID-19. Tidak terdapat perbedaan variabel kebiasaan konsumsi jajanan (p-value 0,280), fast food (p-value 0,207), gorengan (p-value 0,180) dan soft drink (p-value 0,103). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa, masa pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada perubahan kebiasaan olahraga baik pada frekuensi dan durasi olahraga serta kebiasaan konsumsi sayur dan buah siswa SMAN terpilih di Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Kata Kunci : COVID-19, Kebiasaan Konsumsi, Olahraga, Remaja ABSTRACT Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) is a global pandemic that has infected various countries in the world, including Indonesia. Restrictions on activities outside the home including school closures in suppressing the transmission of COVID-19 have an impact on changes in physical activity and eating behavior in a direction that endangers health and causes nutritional problems, as well as increases the risk of NCDs that can exacerbate COVID-19 disease. This study aims to determine differences in exercise habits and consumption habits before and during the COVID-19 pandemic in selected high school students in West Lampung Regency. The study design of this study was cross-sectional using primary data obtained through filling out questionnaires and FFQ. The study was conducted in July 2020. The research sample consisted of 295 students who were selected using the purposive sampling method at selected public high schools in West Lampung Regency. The research data were analyzed using SPSS 2.0 using Mc Nemar test bivariate analysis. The results showed that there were differences in the frequency of exercise (p-value 0.000), exercise duration (p-value 0.000), vegetable consumption habits (p-value 0.021) and fruit (p-value 0.000) before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. There is no difference in the variables of snack consumption habits (p-value 0.280), fast food (p-value 0.207), fried food (p-value 0.180) and soft drinks (p-value 0.103). It can be concluded that, the COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on changes in exercise habits both in the frequency and duration of exercise as well as vegetable and fruit consumption habits of students selected high school in West Lampung Regency. Abstract

Diare merupakan penyebab kematian nomor dua pada Balita di dunia. Karena itu, penting untuk mengetahui faktor risiko kejadian diare pada Balita. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor risiko kejadian diare pada Balita usia 6-59 bulan di Pulau Sumatera. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) 2014 yang dikumpulkan oleh Research And Development (RAND) Corporation dengan sampel sebanyak 1315 anak-anak di Pulau Sumatera. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional dan data dianalisis bivariat dengan uji statistik chi-square dan multivariat dengan uji statistik regresi logistik ganda. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa variabel umur anak (Pv=0,006; OR=1,525), Jenis kelamin (Pv=0,019; OR=1,433), dan Imunisasi campak (Pv=0,005; OR=1,531) merupakan faktor resiko diare pada Balita. Hasil Analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa jenis kelamin merupakan faktor risiko yang paling dominan dengan diare (Pv=0,018; OR=1,427). Jenis kelamin merupakan faktor risiko paling dominan dengan diare sehingga upaya untuk memberikan asupan gizi yang optimal pada anak, menjaga hygiene dan sanitasi lingkungan yang baik, pola asuh yang baik, pemberian imunisasi sangat penting untuk mempertahankan status gizi anak agar normal dan terhindar dari diare.

Abstract

Menurut World Health Organization (WHO) tahun 2018, 24% dari populasi dunia terinfeksi kecacingan. Di Indonesia, kecacingan masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat dengan prevalensi kecacingan pada siswa sebesar 60-80%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian kecacingan pada siswa SD terpilih di Kecamatan Cihara, Kabupaten Lebak Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross sectional dengan total sampling sebanyak 152 siswa. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna antara status gizi (Pv=0,006; OR=3,117), pendidikan ibu (Pv=0,039; OR=2,647), pendidikan ayah (Pv=0,031; OR=2,392), pekerjaan ayah (Pv=0,004; OR=3,123), penghasilan (Pv=0,046; OR=3,067), kebiasaan mencuci tangan (Pv=0,000; OR=9,556), kebiasaan buang air besar sembarangan (BABS) (Pv=0,000; OR=29,450), mengkonsumsi sayur mentah (Pv=0,013; OR=2,698), kebersihan kuku (Pv=0,034; OR=2,824), pemakaian alas kaki (Pv=0,011; OR=3,405), kepemilikan jamban (Pv=0,000; OR=31,333), sumber air minum (Pv=0,029; OR=8,824), sumber air bersih untuk masak dan minum (Pv=0,000; OR=8,095), konsumsi obat cacing dalam 1 tahun terakhir (Pv=0,000; OR=5,354) dengan kejadian kecacingan pada anak sekolah. Perlunya peningkatan promotif, preventif serta kuratif terkait infeksi cacing. Selain itu, masyarakat pun perlu meningkatkan personal hygiene dan menjaga sanitasi lingkungan rumah agar terhindar dari kontaminasi telur cacing.

Abstract

Calcium is one of important mineral for female student to obtain the peak bone mass.This study aims to find out how the amount and adequacy of calcium intake, and the contribution of dairy products to calcium intake among female student. This study used a cross-sectional study design. A total 58 third and fourth level nutrition student were selected randomly as samples.Calcium intake is obtained by using semiquantitative FFQ that has been validated. The results of the study showed an average calcium intake was 630±395 mg/day, with 417.8±367.7 mg coming from dairy products.There was 13% student who obtained Requirement Daily Allowance for calcium. Abstract

ABSTRAK Agenda penanggulangan HIV/AIDS menjadi salah satu masalah yang paling tidak terselesaikan di dunia. Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa memberikan perhatian khusus terhadap program tersebut dan memasukkannya sebagai salah satu agenda Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs). Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara anggota Persatuan Bangsa-bangsa mengeluarkan SK No.451/MENKES/SK/XII/2012 untuk penanggulangan HIV/AIDS dan menunjuk lebih dari 358 rumah sakit untuk memberikan layanan HIV/AIDS. Namun ketiadaan fasilitas dan pelayanan kesehatan muncul seiring dengan semakin meningkatnya kasus baru. Di sisi lain petugas kesehatan merasa telah memberikan pelayanan yang berkualitas. Padahal untuk mengukur kualitas suatu pelayanan tidak mudah, harus menggunakan metode pengukuran tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas layanan HIV/AIDS dengan metode servqual dan analisis pentingnya pekerjaan atau Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Kombinasi metode campuran dengan desain penjelas berurutan memperkuat kedua metode tersebut. Pengambilan sampel secara acak sederhana untuk menemukan 100 sampel kasus HIV/AIDS untuk desain kuantitatif dan wawancara mendalam juga digunakan untuk menggali informasi lebih lanjut di antara petugas yang merawat pasien di rumah sakit tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara keseluruhan pelayanan rawat jalan HIV/AIDS RSU Kabupaten Tangerang sudah mencapai standar pelayanan minimal Rumah Sakit. Namun masih terdapat selisih sebesar -7,97 yang menunjukkan pasien tidak puas. RSU Kabupaten Tangerang perlu melakukan berbagai perbaikan atas kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan. Prioritas utama pembenahan adalah pada dimensi tangible berupa fasilitas penunjang ruang tunggu, ruangan di dalam poliklinik, toilet, areal parkir, dan stok obat. Kemudian disusul dimensi kehandalan, karena minimnya jumlah petugas yang berdampak pada ketanggapan pelayanan dan keterlambatan jam buka klinik. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to discover the prevalence of stunting and determine the associations between the history of pulmonary tuberculosis disease with the prevalence of stunting among children under five years of age (6-59 months) in Babakan Madang Sub-District, Bogor District 2019. This study uses a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. The sample in this research was 194 children under five obtained by cluster sampling. Data collection was conducted through May 2019. The data collection process includes anthropometric measurements using calibrated microtoise and digital length board, dietary assessment using 1 x 24-h food recall, and a self-administered questionnaire. Data analyses were performed using the chi-square test and independent t-test. The result of this study shows that 35.6% of children under five are being stunted (HAZ ≤ -2.00). The risk factor with a significant correlation with stunting is history of pulmonary tuberculosis disease (p-value 0.044), although careful interpretation is needed in this result due to the limited number of observed cases. However, this study recommends pulmonary tuberculosis disease prevention and improve nutritional education. Keywords: stunting, children under-five, pulmonary tuberculosis disease AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besaran prevalensi stunting dan membuktikan hubungan antara riwayat penyakit TB paru serta faktor lainnya dengan kejadian stunting pada balita umur 6-59 bulan di Kecamatan Babakan Madang Kabupaten Bogor Tahun 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross-sectional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 194 balita yang didapat dengan cara cluster sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan selama bulan Mei 2019. Proses pengambilan data meliputi pengukuran antropometri menggunakan microtoise dan digital length board yang telah divalidasi, wawancara food recall 1x 24 jam, dan pengisian kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji chi-square dan independent-t.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat 35,6% balita stunting (Z-score PB/U atau TB/U ≤ -2,00). Faktor risiko yang memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan kejadian stunting adalah riwayat penyakit TB paru, meskipun hasil ini memerlukan kehati-hatian dalam interpretasi mengingat sangat terbatasnya jumlah kasus TB paru yang diobservasi. Meskipun demikian, studi ini merekomendasikan upaya pencegahan terhadap penyakit TB paru dan peningkatan edukasi gizi. Kata kunci:  stunting, balita, riwayat TB paru
