Abstract

Instagram is a social media used to interact with other users and offers various features provided by Instagram such as Direct Message, Like, and Comment. The phenomenon of the teaching and learning process in higher education is also inseparable from technological advances, both from curriculum development, academic systems to student activities. One of the utilization of technological advances is the dissemination of information about the campus world. The implementation of Uses and Gratification Theory in this study can be seen from individual active students who deliberately seek information and become followers of the @academic_csunibi Instagram account as a fulfillment of information needs. This study aims to determine the effect of using instsgram social media on the @academik_csunibi account on fulfilling the information needs of active students of Universitas Informatika and Bisnis Indonesia Academic Year 2019-2022. The research method used is a quantitative method with a verificative approach. The population in this study were active students of the University of Informatics and Business Indonesia in the 2019-2022 academic year with a sample size of 100 respondents with purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that in the T test data from the results of the IBM SPSS 23 statistical data analysis obtained data of 8,364> 1654, it means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so this value indicates that there is an influence between the collaboration sub variable on the current need approach variable.

Abstract

This study examines the framing of news coverage related to the increase in fuel prices (BBM) on two prominent Indonesian online media platforms, Kumparan.com and Kompas.com, during the period of September 3–7, 2022. Utilizing Robert N. Entman’s framing analysis model, the research explores how these media outlets construct and present the issue of the BBM price hike through the four elements of framing: defining problems, diagnosing causes, making moral judgments, and offering treatment recommendations. The research adopts a qualitative content analysis approach, systematically analyzing articles from both platforms to identify recurring themes and framing techniques. The study employs a purposive sampling method to select relevant news articles, ensuring that the content analyzed is directly related to the BBM price hike during the specified period. The findings reveal significant differences in how each media platform frames the issue. Kumparan.com primarily views the government’s decision to raise BBM prices as a source of public discontent, highlighting the negative impact on various societal groups and attributing the problem largely to government actions. In contrast, Kompas.com adopts a more balanced approach, acknowledging both the necessity of the government’s decision in light of rising global oil prices and the public's grievances. This platform frames the policy as a difficult but necessary step to maintain economic stability. The study concludes that media framing plays a crucial role in shaping public perception, with each outlet presenting the same event in ways that reflect their editorial stances and underlying ideologies. The research suggests that future studies could benefit from incorporating constructionist theories and critical discourse analysis to further understand the mechanisms of media framing and its impact on public discourse.

Abstract

Background: Early marriage is a prevalent practice in Cigondewah Rahayu Village, Bandung City. From a psychological and social perspective, early marriage can lead to emotional immaturity and underdeveloped cognitive abilities among young brides. The persistence of traditional customs surrounding early marriage in the area serves as a compelling motivation for researchers to investigate this phenomenon. Purpose: This study aims to explore the community’s interpretation of early marriage from the perspective of intrapersonal communication. Additionally, it seeks to understand the experiences of individuals who have participated in early marriages in Cigondewah Rahayu Village, Bandung City. Methods: This research employs a qualitative approach, drawing on Alfred Schutz’s phenomenological studies and the theory of Symbolic interactionism. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis involved techniques such as data reduction, presentation, and verification. Results: The findings indicate that, within the context of intrapersonal communication, early marriage is commonly perceived as a normal practice within the local community, deeply rooted in historical traditions. Participants view early marriage as a ritual that holds religious significance. Moreover, they believe that it facilitates the development of a mature mindset, fostering independence and generating positive impacts in various aspects of their lives, particularly within their social interactions. Implications: Based on the study’s findings, it is important to raise public awareness regarding the potential risks associated with early marriage. Given the unstable mental condition of young individuals, engaging in early marriage can give rise to challenges within the household, as their psychological development is not yet fully equipped to handle the responsibilities and complexities of married life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Aspek Permodalan (KPMM) Likuiditas (FDR), dan Kualitas Aktiva Produktif (NPF) terhadap Kinerja Keuangan (ROA) Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia Periode Tahun 2016-2020. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat eksplanatory, dengan sampel yakni 14 Bank Umum Syariah pada periode 2016-2020 dengan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa Aspek Permodalan (KPMM) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Keuangan (ROA), Likuiditas (FDR) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Keuangan (ROA), dan Kualitas Aktiva Produktif (NPF) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Keuangan (ROA) Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia Periode Tahun 2016- 2020.

Abstract

Kemenristekdikti mendorong peningkatan publikasi ilmiah sebagai bentuk peningkatan kualitasintelektual dan daya saing bangsa. Namun perlu upaya untuk penulis khususnya dosen untukmendapatkan informasi mengenai publikasi jurnal itu sendiri. Dunia publikasi jurnal meskipuntelah lama ada dan telah sangat berkembang serta menjadi tolak ukur ranking kualitas publikasipenulis di dunia, di Indonesia sendiri hal ini cenderung masih baru. Masih perlu digali informasiinformasi terkait publikasi artikel di jurnal ilmiah. Artikel ini mencoba menjadi sedikit sumberinformasi untuk dosen, mahasiswa, peneliti, pada posisinya sebagai penulis agar mulai mengenalwadah publikasi ilmiah yang kini mulai giat digerakkan pemerintah. Rumusan masalah dalampenelitian ini adalah: (1) bagaimana cara mendapatkan informasi mengenai jurnal nasional, jurnalterakreditasi nasional, dan jurnal internasional, (2) bagaimana cara mengakses jurnal yang sesuaidengan bidang ilmu yang diinginkan, dan (3) contoh bagaimana melakukan penyerahan artikelmelalui OJS (Open Journal System). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatifdesktiptif. Data diperoleh dengan observasi partisipatif dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan, jurnal dikelompokkan menjadi dua kelompok utama, yaitu berdasarkan bidang ilmu(luas, cukup spesifik, dan lebih spesifik), dan status jurnal (Nasional BerISSN, NasionalTerakreditasi, dan Internasional). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah agar penulis mengenal jurnalberdasarkan bidang ilmu, dan status jurnalnya untuk menjadi salah satu strategi penulis agar dalamproses submit artikel sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan tujuan publikasi yang diinginkan.

Abstract

Penyakit gagal ginjal kronik di dunia saat ini mengalami peningkatan dan menjadi masalahkesehatan serius. Pengalaman pasien gagal ginjal kronik setelah menjalani terapi hemodialisis atauCAPD sangat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk:(1) Mengetahuikomunikasi dan pengalaman pasien gagal ginjal kronik setelah mereka divonis sebagai penderitagagal ginjal kronik.; (2) Mengetahui kondisi kesehatan pasien gagal ginjal kronik setelah merekadivonis sebagai penderita gagal ginjal kronik. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan penelitiankaulitatif pendekatan fenomenologi. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh bahwa pengalaman pasiengagal ginjal kronik antara lain terapi rutin yang harus dilakukan adalah hemodialisis atau CAPD ,aktivitas sehari-hari yang bisa dilakukan terbatas, pola makan dibatasi, pengaruh penyakit padaprofesi pekerjaan menghambat, keterbukaan penyakit pada lingkungan sekitar tertutup. Sedangkankondisi kesehatan pasien gagal ginjal kronik mengalami penurunan yang drastis dibandingkandengan ketika masih sehat. Pasien gagal ginjal kronik dengan terapi CAPD memiliki kondisikesehatan yang lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan pasien terapi hemodialisis.

Abstract

The Series' trail is a series of web series advertisements created by outdoor equipment products uploaded by Eiger Adventure Indonesia's official Youtube account. Youtube is one of the most common social media platforms accessed by the people of Indonesia. This research is a quantitative study using a survey method with data analysis techniques calculated using SPSS 25 software with skewnes and kurtosis techniques, Pearson correlation coefficient and simple linear regression. Based on the results of the study, the value of the relationship between variables is (0.575) and the value (R) or correlation is (0.591). Through this value it is also known that the value of (R Square) or the coefficient of determination is (0.349) which means there is an influence from watching the web series advertisement version of "Imprint" on Youtube to the buying interest of Eiger products by 34.9% or included in the relationship category " Medium ".

Abstract

Demand for food and drink needs outside the home is increasing in relation to the activities of each human being. The business that can be done by culinary business is to provide good service quality so that customers feel satisfied and decide to come back to the restaurant. Imah Babaturan Coffee Shop is one of the restaurants in the city of Bandung which has a location that is not too strategic. The Imah Babesian Coffee Shop also has a relatively high price range of products and the community around the Imah Babesian Coffee Shop are mostly from the lower middle class. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The method of data collection is done by interviews and observations which are expected to provide in-depth information so that the writer can obtain accurate information about the marketing mix strategy undertaken by Warung Kopi Imah Babaturan in strengthening brand image. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that if a business has its own uniqueness without having to position its products, an effort will be attached to its own image in the minds of consumers. Like the Warung Kopi Imah Babaturan, the historical uniqueness of the location and the product are more accepted by consumers

Abstract

Organizational culture is one of the most important constructs in management research. The purpose of this exploratory study is to determine the impact of organizational culture on organizational performance in order to find out how organizational culture helps in improving organizational performance. This study uses a descriptive approach by examining the results of several existing empirical studies. The findings indicate that all cultural dimensions influence different perspectives of organizational performance. Other studies reveal that organizational culture has an influence on company performance in terms of stability, competitiveness and performance orientation. Organizational culture has a profound impact on organizational processes, employees and their performance. The same research shows that if employees are committed and have the same norms, it can improve performance to achieve overall organizational goals. Leaders are recommended to develop a strong culture in the organization to improve employee and organizational performance. For this reason, this article will examine, based on empirical research, the relationship between culture and organizational performance.

Abstract

Pijakbumi merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang menjalakan usahanya dibidang sepatu kulit dengan memanfaatkan bahan kulit tumbuhan serat kenaf dan kelapa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi branding yang dilakukan oleh Pijakbumi dalam membangun brand sebagai produk sepatu ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Doktrin Brandstrategy dari Knap, 2001. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi, sedangkan secara sekunder menggunakan refernsi buku, penelitian terdahulu, internet searching. Teknik penentuan informan dilakukan secara Purposive Sampling. Teknik keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber. Hasil pada strategi branding ini terbagi menjadi lima elemen yakni brand assessment yang dilakukan dengan memberikan pemahaman kepada konsumen bahwa Pijakbumi merupakan produk sepatu ramah lingkungan yang dibuat dari bahan limbah tumbuhan kenaf dan kelapa, brand promise yang dilakukan Pijakbumi dengan memberikan janji nyata atas produk yang telah dibuat dengan tidak mengubah konsep sebagai produk sepatu ramah lingkungan, brand blueprint yang dilakukan Pijakbumi dengan menciptakan merek kepada konsumen bahwa Pijakbumi mempunyai identitas tersendiri, brand culturalization yang dibuat oleh Pijakbumi dengan memberikan system operational procedure (SOP) kepada karyawannya dan brand advantage yang dilakukan oleh Pijakbumi dengan menjamin kualitas produk yang dibuat dengan menggunakan bahan limbah tumbuhan kenaf dan kelapa. sedangkan untuk program kampanye yang dilakukan oleh Pijakbumi sebagai brand sepatu ramah lingkungan untuk menyuarakan bahwa Pijakbumi sebagai brand dengan tidak memakai bahan-bahan kimia.
