Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Safety Factor value at the research location before being reinforced with sheet piles using Plaxis 2d Software and to plan safe sheet piles and reinforcement dimensions and to analyze the forces that work and determine the safety factor value in sheet pile construction. The results of this analysis can be used as a basis for planning reinforcement of the Krueng Teunom river bank. Slope stability analysis using Plaxis 2D at the review location was carried out by creating 2 models, namely modeling extreme normal conditions or the highest river water level, The safety factor figure on the review slope using Plaxis 2D under normal conditions has an SF of 1.446 before being reinforced and 2.373 after being reinforced. extreme conditions have an SF of 1.081 before being reinforced and 1.811 after being reinforced. The land subsidence figure due to consolidation on the normal condition review slope has a figure of 0.03 m before being reinforced and 0.02 m after being reinforced. extreme conditions have a figure of 0.08 m before being reinforced and 0.07 m after being reinforced. The planned slope reinforcement is a cantilever retaining wall with total wall height (H) dimensions of 4.50 m, total width (B) of 2.70 m and embankment slope angle of 10°. With flexural reinforcement D19-200 mm, shrinkage ∅10-75 mm, heel-toel section D19-150 mm and horizontal reinforcement tread ∅10-75 mm.

Abstract

Coastal settlements are areas that are vulnerable to coastal disasters. One of the coastal treatments that is generally carried out is to protect the coastline using beach buildings. It is hoped that the coastal buildings used can break the energy of sea waves and prevent sea water from entering land areas. The use of flume wave instruments is one way to understand the phenomenon of wave generation that allows runoff to occur. This research aims to look at the wave generation process that is generated using wave generator tools contained in the physical flume wave model. Wave generator tools are used to analyze wave height and overtopping that occur before and after protective structures are applied. Waves are generated using a wave generator with 3 speed variations. The speeds used are 0.38 m/s (10 volts), 0.48 m/s (20 volts) and 1.0 m/s (30 volts).

Abstract

This study investigated the interaction happened in English class at State Senior High School 3 in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. English teacher and Class 11 students at Senior High school 3 in Banjarbaru were the research subjects. The object of the research was classroom interaction. Purposive sampling was used in determining the research sample. Flanders Interaction Analysis Category as an observation guide and interviews were used to collect the data in the class. The results indicate that two-way communication among teacher, student, and students occurred in English class. The findings revealed that teacher-talk was 42.79% and student-talk was 53.79%, while silence or confusion was 3.40%. It indicated that two-way communication between teacher and students occurred in English Class. It shows that students are the center of learning process and the students are active during English learning process. However, this study differs from previous studies as the Flanders Interaction Analysis Category used here was analyzed according to the perspectives of foreign language anxiety.

Abstract

The title of this research is "Comparison between the use of the Small Group Discussion Method and the PQ4R Method to Improve Students' Ability to Understand Reading at Dayah Darul Ihsan Aceh Besar". The researcher choose this title because most of students face difficulties in understanding what is read when reading the text, and they talk to each other and do not pay attention to the teacher when teaching reading. The cause of this problem is that the teacher does not use the right method in teaching reading skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of the Small Group Discussion Method and the PQ4R Method, and to determine the results of the use of the Small Group Discussion Method and the PQ4R Method in improving students' reading comprehension skills. The population in this study were students of Ma'had Darul Ihsan grade 2 MTsS totaling 256 students. And the samples used were class VIII B (experimental class) which amounted to 33 students, and class VIII C (control class) which amounted to 33 students. The tools used by researchers to collect data are test instruments, namely pre-test and post-test questions, with descriptive statistical data analysis techniques, paired sample T-test, and independent sample T-test, using the SPSS 20 program. And the results This research is the use of the Small Group Discussion method and the PQ4R method effectively to improve students' ability to understand reading. And there is a comparison between the use of the Small Group Discussion method and the PQ4R method to improve students' reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the common errors in reading Arabic texts among students and to identify their causes. As for the research method, the researcher used a descriptive analytical method. Observation, interview, and documentation were used to collect data. After the researcher carried out the scientific research, I found that the common mistakes of the learner in reading Arabic texts are divided into two types, namely, grammatical errors and morphological errors. Grammatical errors were the most frequent errors in reading Arabic texts, with a total of 117, with a percentage of 92.12%, and morphological errors, totaling 10, with a percentage of 7,87%. The factors that cause common mistakes in the learner’s reading of Arabic texts consist of several factors, namely lack of knowledge of rules, neglect of rules, unwillingness in the Arabic language and lack of reading Arabic texts.

Abstract

إن أهداف هذا البحث للتعرف على أنشطة الطلبة والمدرس عند تطبيق طريقة القصة بالصور والتعرف على فعال طريقة القصة بالصور في ترقية قدرة الطلبة على سيطرة مفردات اللغة العربية. أما المجتمع في هذا البحث الطلبة بالمدرسة الابتدائية 12 وكان عددهم 150 طالبا. والعينة في هذا البحث هو الطلاب من الفصل الخامس وعددهم 25 طالبا. الأدوات التى استخدمتها الباحثة لجمع البيانات هي قائمة الملاحظة وقائمة الاختبارات التي تتعلق بالاختبار القبلي والبعدي باستخدام تحليل البيانات الإحصاء الوصفي، والاختبار – ت مزدوجة، باستعانةSPSS 22 . وأما نتائج هذا البحث فتدل أن أنشطة الطلاب والمدرس تحصل على الدرجة جيد جدا عند تطبيق طريقة القصة بالصور، لأن الدرجة المحصولة من الملاحظة المباشرة تحصل على الدرجة 87% و 90% . هذه الدرجة تدل على أنها في الحد 81-100 % وحصلت على درجة جيد جدا.وإن تطبيق طريقة القصة بالصور فعال لترقية قدرة الطلبة على سيطرة المفردات. والدليل على هذا أن نتيجة من الاختبار ت ((Uji paired sample T-test 15،535- بمستوى الدلالة (Sig) 0،05 > 0،00.

Abstract

إن أهداف هذا البحث هو التعرف على فعالية تطبيق لعبة "Treasure Hunt" لترقية قدرة الطلاب على مهارة القراءة بـ MTsN 3 Aceh Besar والتعرف على استجابة الطلاب باستخدام لعبة "Treasure Hunt" في تعليم القراءة بـMTsN 3 Aceh Besar. والأدوات المستخدمة لجمع البيانات هي قائمة الاختبار والاستبانة. وأما نتائج البحث هي تطبيق لعبة "Treasure Hunt" فعال لترقية قدرة الطلاب على مهارة القراءة، لأن ت- الحساب أكبر من ت- الجدول أو نتيجة الاختبار أكبر من نتيجة ت- الجدول (2.78<4.8>2.06). إن استجابة الطلاب عند تطبيق لعبة "Treasure Hunt" في تعليم القراءة ممتازة. اعتمادا إلى إجابة إجابية بالنسبة 99% وإجابة سلبية بالنسبة 1%، وهذه النتيجة تدل أن 99% من يستجيبون استجابة جيدة عند تطبيق لعبة "Treasure Hunt" في تعليم القرآءة.

Abstract

اعتمادا على الملاحظة الأولى التي قام بها الباحث أن الطلبة للمرحلة العالية بالمعهد العصري إنصاف الدين بند أتشيه، أكثرهم يفهمون القواعد لكن لم يقدروا تطبيقها، ويحفظون المفردات لكن لم يفهموا النصوص العربية ومضمونها، وقد تظهر الملل من بعض الطلبة، بأن تكون أفكارهم خارجة عن الاهتمام بعملية التعليم والتعلم في حجرة الدراسة. بهذه المشكلة، يريد الباحث أن يعالجها من خلال استخدام كتاب فتح المعين بطريقة المناقشة لترقية مهارة القراءة. يهدف هذا البحث للتعرف على كيفية استخدام كتاب فتح المعين بطريقة المناقشة لترقية مهارة القراءة بالمعهد العصري إنصاف الدين بند أتشيه، وللتعرف على فعالية استخدام كتاب فتح المعين بطريقة المناقشة لترقية مهارة القراءة بالمعهد العصري إنصاف الدين بند أتشيه. في هذا البحث، يستخدم الباحث منهج البحث التجريبي بنوع  One Group Pre-Test Post Test Design، يقدم الباحث ورقة الملاحظة المباشرة والاختبار القبلي والاختبار البعدي كأدوات البحث. ونتائج البحث تدل أن استخدام كتاب فتح المعين بطريقة المناقشة في تدريس مهارة القراءة بالمعهد إنصاف الدين تحصل على درجة ممتازة، في أنشطة المعلم بالدرجة 91،67%، وفي أنشطة الطالبات بالدرجة 86،67%، عند تحليل بيانات الملاحظة المباشرة. وإن استخدام كتاب فتح المعين بطريقة المناقشة يكون فعالا لترقية مهارة القراءة، ويعتمد الباحث على أن نتيجة من الاختبار ( (Paired Sample T-Test تحصل  على النتيجة  مستوى الدلالة  (Sig. 2-tailed 0,000)، وهي أصغر من نتيجة مستوى الدلالة ((0,05، تدل على أن الفرض الصفري مردود والفرض البديل مقبول. فتشير أن استخدام كتاب فتح بطريقة المناقشة يكون فعالا لترقية مهارة القراءة.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of using Flash Card to improve students' ability to understand At-Tarkib Al-Washfi at MAN 7 Bireuen, and also to determine student activities during the At-Tarkib Al-Washfi learning process using Flash Card. The research method used is an experimental method with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. As for tools for collecting data, researchers use observation and tests. The results of this research show that the use of Flash Card is very effective in improving students' ability to understand At-Tarkib Al-Washfi, with the results of the pre-test and post-test being at a significance level (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. This value indicates that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. And student activity is very good when the learning process uses flash card. It is proven from the results of direct observations (observations) of student activities of 90‥. ranges from 80-100‥ in the very good category. This value shows that students responded well and participated actively in the Tarkib Wasfi learning process using flash cards.

Abstract

Based on the first observation at MTsN 2 Aceh Besar the researcher found that student are difficulty in learning Arabic lessons, especially in speaking skills, they cannot use words in speaking, and also they are afraid of making mistakes when speaking arabic. Because the teacher only uses one learning method, is discovery learning, and the teacher does not used the right media in learning process.To overcome this problem, researcher want yo use of picture card media to improve speaking skills students.The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using picture card media to improve speaking skills students and to find out the activities of teacher and students during the learning process of using picture card media. In this study, researcher used experimental research with the design of One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. For data collection, researcher use pre-test and post-test, and researcher also use direct observation. The result of this study incate that the result of pre-test and post-test are with a significiance level (Asymp.Sig. 2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05. This proves that use of the picture card media is effective to improve speaking skills students. And as for the result of observations of teacher and student activities use of the picture card media, the result obtained very good scores which result reached 87,5%.
