Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore the reality of field experience in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers by answering the following main question: What is the reality of field experience in the Arabic language teaching program in schools in Aceh? The researcher used a questionnaire consisting of 62 items, divided into four areas: cooperation with practicum schools, effectiveness of university supervisors, evaluation of practicum students, and the relevance of theoretical content to the needs of schools. The study involved 82 practicum students from four Islamic universities in Aceh. The researcher used the SPSS statistical analysis program to calculate means, standard deviations, and conducted independent ttests and ANOVA tests to examine the impact of variables such as gender, cumulative GPA, and university on the reality of field experience. The results showed statistically significant differences in several areas, such as the effectiveness of university supervisors and cooperation between schools and universities. The researcher recommends increasing the number of credit hours for field experience, offering courses on theoretical content with practical activities such as micro-teaching, as well as developing evaluation mechanisms and improving coordination with practicum schools to enhance the quality of training.

Abstract

Deep Learning Applications in Primary Education: A Systematic Literature Review of Emerging Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities. Objectives: Despite significant advances in healthcare and finance, Deep Learning (DL) remains underutilized in primary education, with only about 12% of AI-related studies focusing on K–6. Given the formative role of early schooling in cognitive and social development, this systematic review analyzed recent empirical studies to identify key trends, challenges, and opportunities in applying DL to primary education. Methods: Following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, 21 studies published between 2021 and 2025 across 11 countries were analyzed using a structured coding sheet and further examined with bibliometric mapping, Microsoft Excel, and Python-based visualization tools. The review included diverse sources focusing on DL use cases across global primary education systems. Findings: The findings reveal a global increase in DL adoption, led by China and South Korea, with growing contributions from Indonesia, India, and the Philippines. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), and transformer-based models are among the most commonly applied architectures to tasks such as personalized learning, early detection of learning difficulties, assessment automation, and curriculum development. However, there are still problems in the context of ethical concerns, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and equity of access. Technical barriers involve dataset complexity, model generalization, and resource limitations, while pedagogical issues center on aligning DL applications with developmental needs and classroom realities. Despite these obstacles, DL demonstrates significant potential to enhance personalization, foster engagement, and support holistic educational outcomes. Conclusion: This review contributes a strategic roadmap for integrating DL in primary education by balancing innovation with pedagogy and ethics. Future research should prioritize cross-disciplinary collaboration, greater geographic diversity, and improvements in scalability and interpretability to ensure DL supports equitable, future-ready learning. Keywords: deep learning, primary education, personalized learning, systematic literature review, educational technology.

Abstract

Cancer is still one of the health problems around the world. Cancer is an uncontrolled (abnormal) cell division and can invade surrounding tissues and can also spread to other parts of the body through the blood and lymphatic system known as metastasis. This disease is often diagnosed in men aged 50-80 years with an average age of 73 years. Bladder cancer is divided into transitional cell carcinoma (95%), squamous cell carcinoma (3%), adenocarcinoma (2%), and less than 1% small cell tumors (paraneoplastic syndrome). Risk factors for this disease are smoking, exposure to carcinogenic substances, drugs, infection with the parasite Schistosoma haematobium, chronic irritation (stone disease), physical trauma (in the uroepithelial layer), infectious diseases and those that have not been proven to be the cause are coffee, alcohol, saccharin and cyclamate sweeteners. The prognosis of the disease depends on histologic examination to see the stage of the disease and by tissue biopsy. Methods: This paper is based on a literature search of clinical practice guidelines, scientific literature, websites, and textbooks on the topic of bladder cancer. Results and Discussion: Hematuria is the main clinical symptom in addition to other symptoms as a complaint of bladder cancer. The disease is divided into non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) and muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). Non-invasive and invasive cancer conditions play an important role in the treatment and prognosis of the disease. MIBC is a disease condition with high morbidity and mortality. Conclusion: Cystoscopy followed by biopsy resection is the diagnostic standard followed by anatomic pathology examination (histology and cytology) for definitive diagnosis of the disease. The prognosis will be better if the disease is still at superficial and non-invasive stage (Ta), so that only transurethral tumor resection followed by chemotherapy drugs, intravesical and results will be more satisfactory.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive political economy on what and who obtains the most advantages of the politics of building infrastructure and of creating local, regional and international financial schemes. For its analysis, the writer applies common logic of Karl Marx on creating values in production of capitalism facilitated by the distribution process of creating highways and other infrastructures, which is commonly known as a process of producing spaces. Through observation, it is found that the process of infrastructure politics, in fact, provides more benefits to local, national and global economic oligarchy, than to the publics in general.

Abstract

This article collates on the argument that democracy built in Indonesia in the last two decades after the fall of the New Order regime has been increasingly electoral. It even forms of regime in electoral that extends its definition and practice to the lowest level of society such as at the district/city level or even at the village level. Unfortunately, this electoral progress has not been followed by social empowerment, justice and even distribution of economic resources. It even leads to an increasingly differentiated society that is materially more tangible or ownership of productive resources.

Abstract The construction has increased very rapidly. So that it requires an alternative to find a substitute for other materials that can be used in forming a concrete, one of which is using oyster shell waste as a partial substitute for cement and fine aggregate. In general, the compotition of Portland Cement are 60% to 70% consisting of lime or CaO, and 17% to 25% consisting of SiO2 (SNI-15-2049-2004), the use of oyster shells containing CaO elements is 53.03% and SiO2 of 0.82% as an adhesive. The research objective was to determine the effect of oyster shell as a substitute of cement and fine sand due to the tensile strength of concrete. The substitution of cement and fine sand was 0%, 5%, 10% and 15% for 28 days of concrete with a water cement ratio of 0,40, 0,50 and 0,60 The sylindrical concrete used in this research was 60 specimens. The research was carried out in the laboratory based on ACI (American Concrete Institute), ASTM (American Society for Testing & Materials) and SNI (Indonesian National Standard). Based on the results, it was found that the highest tensile strength of concrete was obtained at water cemen ratio of 0,50 by mixing 5% oyster shells, namely 4.02 MPa. While for normal concrete, the highest tensile strength of concrete is obtained at water cement ratio of 0,40 which is 3.72 MPa. Keywords: oyster shell, ash, water cement ratio, tensile strength of concrete.
